He didn't go anywhere that he was known to go, refusing to get caught again.
He ended up in Guatemala, working ata garage that one of Tego's friends owned, having heard about it from the man about 4 years before. It was just a place to stay though; he kept his ear to the ground, waiting to hear what had happened.
Slowly, he made his way back up the continent, stopping in with friends who tod him that Letty had been looking for him. He spent the rest of the time figuring out where the group was, surprised to hear that they were still at the fort.

It was already getting dark outside when a stranger walked into Enrico's small fish restaurant on the side of the road just south of the Mexico/US border.
A young woman in her midtenties eyed him over the counter. He was well-built and bald. the type of guy that usually meant trouble. She grabbed her note pad and walked over to him. "What can I get you?" She asked in Spanish.

"Got a Corona? Shrimp," he replied in kind, smiling wryly, idly wondering in the back of his mind how hard it would be to speak English when he got home.

The woman nodded and made a quick note on her pad. Her eyes wandered up to look into his face briefly. He had nice, warm eyes. Then she turned around just to return about 5 minutes later with a beer in her hand. It wasn't a Corona.
Her eyes wandered out to the car he was driving. "Are you going to the States?" She asked casually.

"That's not a Corona," he said, taking it anyway. "Going to visit family. You like the car?" He sat back in the chair, a more genuine smile on his face. This girl was cute, but nothing he couldn't handle in the sense of brushing her off.

The woman nodded with a smile. "Yes." She looked at the beer. "No Corona but cool."
It took a while until she came back with the shrimp a kitchen towel slung across her shoulder. "We're closing soon. But there's a motel up the road."#
Just when she said that the door swung open and one of Braga's men walked in and called out. "Cerveza!" She hurried away and came back with a Corona in her hand.

At first when the man entered, he hunched over his food, knowing that it would be easy to be recognized, then he got a little mad that the guy got a Corona.
"Hey girl, why'd he get a Corona when I didn't?!" he called, honestly not caring anymore. This was about the beer now.

A little confused and worried she looked at Dom. "Our Corona is reserved for our 'special guests'. I'm sorry."
The man turned to face whoever just spoke up and suqinted his eyes. Was this really who he thought it was. He'd only seen Dom once. "What's your problem, gringo?" He walked over to Dom putting his dirty hands and the Corona on the table in front of him.

Who you callin' a gringo, chicano? My problem is that I didn't get the beer I ordered." He looked around the man, seemingly dismissing him.
"Am I not special enough for you?"

"Why do you need to know my name? Thanks for the beer." He picked up the Corona that the man had set down, wiping off the top and taking a long drink. As far he was concerned, this guy wasn't worth wasting a Corona.

NIKA/Braga's thug
His eyes aalmost popped out when Dom simply took the beer and drank. The man had gutts. he seized him up for a moment wondering whether he should take on a guy of Dom's size. he was probably just one of those muscle hamsters, who lift all day long but do nothing with their muscles.
Quickly he reached for the Corona and grabbed it. While he poured it onto Dom's shiny head he growled. "Who said you could have a drink?"

Dom looked up at the man with fire in his eyes. "I said I could have a drink and I think I should beat your ass for alcohol abuse." With the same finesse that he had used to almost kill that guy with the engine the year before he simply picked the man up and threw him out the front door.

Braga's thug named Huan
His back landed hard on the dusty ground accompanied by a few pieces of broken wood. He groaned and rolled over to get on his feet before this crazy American could beat him up. next to him he spotted a large stick and grabbed it. As soon as Dom stepped out the front door he hauled off and hit him in the shin, then sank his fist into his face with all he had.

Dom growled as the man hit him in the shin. Damn but that would hurt later. He casually turned his head from the fist, letting it glance off before burying his fist in the man's stomach and lifting him into the air. He laughed when the man landed on his ass. He picked up a piece of wood himself; if this asshole was going to use a weapon he would, too.

Huan
'Shit' Huan thought. This guy didn't just lift weights. He shuffled away backwards and caught his breath before got back up and circled Dom. Spanish curses followed. "You're that American driver!" His eyes narrowed and he lunched himself at Dom, kneeing him in the balls and punching one fist after the other into his sides.

With a huge effort he managed to ignore the shot to his groin and wrapping an arm around the guy's neck.
"What American driver? There are a lot of Americans this far North." He tightened his arm, slowly closing on the man's windpipe.
Once the man went down he left him in the parking lot and went back inside to finish his food. "Get me Corona," he growled to the girl.

Nika had watched the fight through the window. With wide eyes she observed Dom eat his shrimp. "No, you got to go. Many men will come and help the man outside. Go!" She kept looking outside and pointing.

"Then I want one to go," he said as he stuffed the last of the shrimp into his mouth and motioned at the corona.
He sighed when she just stood there and went into the back and took one before getting into his Chevelle and peeling out, covering the downed man in gravel and dirt.

It didn't take long for Giselle, who was now running the show in the South, to find out about the incident. Behind her dark sunglasses she asked. "Do you have a name? Who was it?"
The thug shrugged. "No but I recognised him from one of our runs. He's the American driver, bald, big muscles."
Giselle's lips twitched "Dominic Toretto. Better let the boss know!"
