Faye shifted her gaze over to the man at the side of her, she had felt the slight incline of his hand, but he wasnt looking at her in any way but with sympathy, so she presumed it was just a slip of his hand, but none the less she rested her own smaller hand on top of it.

"Your right i dont wanna hear it" She whispered softly,the sadness in her voice over righting any bite that her words may have had, with a breath she uncurled her arm from under her head, and swooped her wet hair away from her face.

"Thank you for ya no, taking me in" She stated softly, she really didnt have any idea where she would go, if he hadnt answered.

"Don't worry about it. Just means you owe me one someday." Daniel offered the brunette a smile, a nod following as his hand patted her leg. "How about I pour you something to drink. Something to get your mind off of things."

His hand finally broke the contact between them and he was up before she could answer, already making his way to the kitchen. It didn't take long before he returned with two whiskey glasses, two ice cubes each and a bottle of Jameson. Setting them on the table, both glasses were poured with the amber liquid before he handed one over to her.

"Don't look at the time. Just enjoy."

Faye smiled, chuckling, nodding her head she let out a breath, yea she would deffiently owe him one after all the help he had given her ever since their first meeting. With a breath she allowed it out, before nodding once more, despite the fact he was already standing and headed into the dierection of his kitchen.

When he arrived back she eyed the drink in his hand, drawing her bottom lip between her teeth, 'enjoy' sure, she had no idea how she was going to relax, even with the alchol in her system, sure it would numb her, but then it would all come back to her.

"Yea, well he's to enjoying" She stated, downing the glass, covering her mouth, she squinted, allowing the burn down her neck to soothe her.

Daniel watched, a slightly impressed expression forming on his face when the liquid was downed all at once by the petite brunette. "I guess that's what they call bottoms up. Didn't know lawyers could drink like that."

Without asking, he simply refilled her glass before he finally took a sip of his own when he reclaimed his seat next to her. People tended to become easier, more relaxed with a little alcohol in them and that was exactly what he was looking for. If he wanted to hear about men being scumbags all night, he could always just call his ex-wife, but with this one he just wanted to have a little fun.

"To freedom, hm?" He offered, raising his glass.

Faye raised a brow as she turned her gaze onto the man sat next to her, with a breath she shook her head and chuckled, licking her lips she rested the cup agasint her forhead, tilting her head so she could look at him, "So i go from damsel in distress to typical lawyer" Shaking her head she sipped the drink, this time barely noticeing the burn, nor the taste, and she was even less bothered about the fact of what alchol actually did to her.

Her mind breifly flashed back to the time before the wedding, the night at the beach, alchol and her did not mix, especially something as strong as this, and she could distinctly remember hitting on Brian, chuckling she swallowed, forceing her mind away from the images of Jack it conjured.

"There are a lot of things you dont know about me" SHe stated with a small smile, her gaze roaming over his face, at his statment, she let out a breath, nodding her head. "To freedom" SHe muttered, all but draining her second glass. "No talk of men tonight" SHe stated "Fun is gonna be my middle name" SHe stated as she smiled over at him.

"I'd say you're a little bit of both, aren't you?" Daniel said, smiling teasingly at the brunette. While he poured her her third glass, once again without asking, he gave a small shrug. "Everyone needs saving from something sometime. Even tough lawyers such as yourself."

Without letting his smile disappear, he set the bottle of Jameson on the glass table in front of them before he finally took his first sip of his own glass and rested his free hand on her bare leg once more. This time his eyes weren't filled with sympathy for her. The young woman was enticing to say the least. Even if the reason for her being here wasn't because of the set up by Verone, he wouldn't mind seeing where his limits laid with her.

"I'm sure there are many things I don't know." He smiled, his hand leaving her warm skin to brush one of the still wet tendrils of brunette hair out of her face and in doing so, the already limited space between them became even smaller. "But let's talk about this fun of yours, shall we?"

Faye licked her lips as she looked over at him, slowly nodding her head as she looked at him, with a smile, yes it was sure that she indeed needed saving, and had needed saving quite often, but she had wanted to put that part of her behind, and yet here she was, being saved again, she didnt even begin to think of the irony of it all. She watched as he poured her, her third glass and this time she just sat and steered at it her eyes shifting towards him as he rested his hand upon her bare leg once more. Swallowing her breath hitched in her throat and she turned to look at him. There was something in his eyes that set her heart raceing, gone was the concern, instead they seemed to burn for her.

She didnt dare move, or say anything as he lifted his hand, smoothing a strand of hair away from her face, with wide eyes she slowly nodded her head, she didnt alltogether think her fun was on the cards, but then with the way he was looking at her, who knew. With a deep in take of breath her gaze shifted down to his lips, realizing just close they had suddenly become.

"Hmm" She muttered, not knowing what to say or what to do, her gaze shifting ever so slightly away from him, but not for long, soon her gaze was back onto him.
