Staring down at Tyler as he began chewing on grass, she rose to meet Brian's eyes as he spoke again - hinting about the trouble his brother was causing him. Well, his brother was definitely one of a kind, a ladies man and almost too eager at times. She assumed age and time would soon tame him a bit, or at least hoped. Some people needed to learn from their own mistakes in their own time.
When the conversation became about Dom again, Letty kept nodding to imply that she was indeed understanding just how delicate the situation really was. "This is so fucked up. Those assholes, they practically ditched me there. I bet they don't even know I'm here. Unless some fatass is sitting across the street, watching us right now." she said, the anger flaring up in her eyes. She gave the FBI her life, counting on them cleaning Dom's name and giving him freedom. What good did it bring to her? Nothing, she almost got herself killed and Dom was still running.

Brian watched her become and angry about how the FBI was just playing with peoples lifes, handing out promises but not keeping them. He could feel his own dissapointment come back. "I hear you. I couldn't beleive it when I heard the judge. I was told Dom would walk." He gave Mia a look. "We made sure he did. But the whole damn organization is fucked up. Don't worry. I quit." He raised his hands in self defense as if he had to explain himself. "Honestly , letty, look at me. If I had know you're alive I would have come to get you, no matter where...where exactly were you?"

'Yeah yeah, I know." Letty said quickly in response to Brian saying that he quit the force, and if he knew she was alive he would have made an effort to find her. There was no use in discussing the past anymore, they were here and that was all that mattered.
"To be honest I have no idea. I was in the middle of nowhere. It took me two days to Veracruz, which was the first place I actually recognized." she recalled unbelievably. "But whatever, I'm here. I fucking love L.A." she said with all seriousness and shrugged it off.

Faye smiled over at Letty, "Its good to meet you, Lee spoke about you all the time when he caem to Miami after the heists" She wasnt surpirsed Letty didnt know about her, she was apart of his past,a past he didnt speak about, to anyone, she guessed Dom knew, maybe Letty, but she wasnt about to ask, she honestly didnt want to know, it was a time she herself didnt want to think of.
Licking her lips she draw her lower lip between her teeth, and her gaze wondered between Brian and Letty, she knew Brian didnt have any evidence of the deal, but maybe Letty did. She smiled softly,
"Letty when you made the deal with the FBI, did you sign any paper work, was anything offical agreeded between you and them....if there isi might be able to get Dom's record cleaned"

Sighing in desperation as Faye's question registered in her ears, Letty simply shook her head no. "I'm not that big into written agreements and recorded legal deals or any of that crap. I messed up." She shrugged, thinking about Dom and what was he doing right now.
"When you reach an agreement on the street you put your word in line, and if you break it the others will have your head. But I learned my mistake. Can't trust the fucking cops.' she sneered through gritted teeth, not caring for Brian's reaction so much. She had every reason to hate their guts. And Brian now had a baby with Mia, they were married. To Letty, it meant that Brian had already chosen his family - this time for good.

Brian felt the same but Letty's words also made him feel like they were aimed at him. He briefly looked at her, then away. "You're right." His eyes met Mia's. "The FBI gave us their word. That should be trustworthy." He turned to Faye. "Give it up, Faye. There's no legal way. We can be glad that they let Leon, Jack and me walk."

"Yeah, what ever happened to the lawyer in you? Are you going back to work?" He smiled a little teasingly but then wrapped his arm around her. "Ah, don't look like that. You're our little Miss Lawyer. Who's going to bust us out of the cuffs if you're on permanent vacation?"
He ran his hand over his head noticing how long his hair had gotten and that he should probably go and get a haircut. Instead he looked at Letty. "Do you have a place or are you going to stay here? You're welcome any time...that probably sounds strange coming from me....just wanted to say that ...I'll shut up." After all this was Dom's place and Brian a permanent guest.

Listening for a moment as Faye and Brian talked about her bring a lawyer and had some inside jokes, made Letty wonder how the hell did Faye get to live in the Fort. Was Brian beginning to be just like Dom? Pulling people to build his own group of friends? It was cloudy at that moment.
He then asked her to stay, and the way he was talking, as if it was his house - got her wondering. Raising an eyebrow as Brian mixed his words and finally said he would shut up, she nodded in agreement eventually. "Yeah. you better shut up." she laughed it off. "Sure I'm staying. Got nowhere else to go. I mean, this is home." her eyes examined the house. It looked good, she assumed it must have changed on the inside though. "Oh, and I want me and Dom's room." she said and tapped Brian's shoulder.

Faye laughed soflty, dark eyes sparkling as she looked over at him, one brow raised ever so slightly, "Actually im heading back this weekend" She stated with a smile, "Gotta look for a place to stay, otherwise im gonna kill Lee" She stated with a laugh, dark amusment playing in her eyes, "He doesnt like Jer very much" She shrugged her shoudlers as she looked over at Letty with a smile.
--------------
Mia nodded her head "Its the same as the last time you were here" She stated softly, it was going to be amazing to have Letty back in the Fort, now all she needed was DOm and they would all be set.
She looekd around at every one that was there, apart from Vince and Leon everyone was there, they hyst needed Dom and then they'd be set, it gave her a twinge though, knowing they would never be whole...not again.

"Not completely the same." Brian raised his brows at Mia.
He pointed at Tyler. "I'm afraid, Letty, but your and Doms room is taken-by this little dude." He laughed at the kid rolling onto his back and wiggling all four in the air. "We have a comfortable couch and a basment room with a comfy matress though. I know what I'm talking about. Everytime she's got her days I get to check out new sleeping arrangements!"

Frowning at the not so comfortable arrangement, Letty finally couldn't hold herself and gagged upon hearing Brian complaining about Mia's mood swings. "She's an angel compared to me. You don't wanna meet me when I'm having my grumpy days." she said half-joking, her tongue dances behind her upper lip.
"I should talk to Dom first. I mean, yeah, I'd love to stay here in the meantime. But it seems like this place has been packed lately." she said, obviously implying on the growing family - Tyler, and Faye.

"I don't think it's any more packed than when the old gang was here." Brian got up to grab a bag of chips. When he returned it hit him how strange it was to see Letty sitting in their middle. Everybody thought she was dead and here she was. He offered her the open bag. "It's really good to have you back." Then he sat down next to her and smiled a little. Brian had carried a lot of guilt for getting her killed. He had blamed it on himself to some extend because he had let her become an informant and it felt like a huge weight had dropped off when he found out that she wasn't dead. "I'm really glad you made it."

"Sure feels like it." Letty replied sharply, watching the little fella going crazy. He got that energy from his dad, for sure. Burying her hand in the chips bag, Letty took a few and placed a couple in her mouth. She chewed on them slowly, enjoying the crispy sound and salty taste as a moan of pleasure escaped her busy lips. "Hallelujah! I almost forgot the taste of these." she confessed, Mexico was nothing like L.A.
"I missed everything around here. Even those chips." she hinted towards the bag and threw her tired body on the couch. "I'm glad I made it too, the taste was worth the effort." she said with a smile. Letty tried to keep everything on a light, funny level. She didn't like sticky emotional chicks' moments.

Brian watched her eat. he could even imagine what she had been through and missed out on. That made him wonder again. "Letty, did they keep you hostage down there or did you just not have a way to cross the border or what happened? I'm sorry, I'm really curious." It was understandable that it was a sore topic but Brian started to feel the urge to kick somebody's behind for Lettys fate.

"Why can't it be both?" Letty asked with a smirk as Brian asked what kept her from coming back. No matter how much she tried to keep things light and happy, Brian seemed to have this urge to bring the subject up again. At first she had no idea why he kept insisting on talking everything out, but then she realized he might be feeling guilty for everything she went through; which was ridiculous.
"It's all good, Brian. Really. We can drop it already, I'm here." she said with a small smile, and in the next moment her eyes were diverted in Faye's direction. "Nice to meet you too," she replied shortly, figuring it was already time for her to ditch.

Wearily he watched her. It was obvious she'd been through a lot and was like usually being the tough chick she was. He didn't like how she brushed him off but there had to be a good reason for it. "Alright!" He raised his hands in defense. "I'll let it go."
As Faye hurried out he nodded. "By Faye, it was good to see you."
Then he turned back to Letty. "It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. I just figured there might be somebody who deserves to pay for it, you know. But if you're happy the way things played out, I am."

Mia smiled over at Faye, dark eyes watching the younger woman headingout, before her gaze returned to Letty. Licking her lips she placed Tyler down on the grass beneath their feet, where he began laughing as he pulled at the grass beneath his fingers.
Licking her lips she lifted her gaze over towards Brian, "Your not FBI though Bri, you have no connections, howz any one gonna pay?" She questioned with a raised brow, turning her gaze towards her husband.

Brian turned his gaze on Mia and raised a brow. "Are you kidding? I'm sure there are ways to make them pay...maybe just drop them off in a bundle in front of the local police station." He smirked, then looked at Letty. "But you don't want that."
