Angel laughed and looked at the weapon with a sense of appreciation, "Good to know I had a smart idea for trying to run in here and grab something to shoot him with. Sucks the guy has better reflexes then I do."

She sat down on his bed and sighed softly, "I'm sorry for dragging you back to that life, because I don't know which guys I shouldn't date."

"I was told at a young age that I was born for a reason and then I was trained and taught what that reason was." He shrugged and stood up, "My final father adopted me and told me what to aim for in life, to help and protect others. I went into the military to take the limited skills I was trained with and perfect them. So...this is what I am here for." He smiled and bounced on the balls of his feet, "Anyways been a while since I've had a good fight, maybe after I knock the stupid out of him we can talk things out." He smiled and looked at the ropes on his arms, he carefully removed them revealing small lacerations from them grinding over his skin. "Ouch...next time I think I'll use chains." He grunted and let them drop onto his bed before walking to the bathroom, running water could be heard. "How are you holding up?"

"Um my migraine meds are totally a win. Pain is basically gone," Angel said grinning slightly, "Though the paramedics said I need a cast and a sling, but hey I say screw it. I can't work with a cast and a sling, so I'll deal without. That's what pain killers are for right?"

"Not really...you need to make sure that fracture sets correctly. If it heals wrong things will get crappy fast nerve damage, bone spurs." He came back out and shrugged wiping the remainder of the blood and water off his arms with his shirt. There were still bruises from Deon as well as a couple marks from where Angel had bit him before, he bounced on his heels again and popped his neck. "I have to admit, I'm excited." He smiled sickly a wild look in his eyes.

Angel glanced at her braced wrist and frowned, "I did this the last time I broke my wrist..." she said shrugging as she walked towards him and brushed her fingers over her healing marks, "I can't believe your still healing from these. I didn't think that I had got you that good, though D defiantly got you good," She sighed and stretched giving him a light kiss.

"I'm excited about this having a chance to finally be over, but at the same time, I can't shake the bad feeling I got. I'll be flying higher then a adrenaline rush when this is over."

Joker looked at his right hand and then to his bed. "Iron bed post, hollow footing." He flicked the metal letting it echo. "Want to see exactly what that guy just went through?" He slammed his knuckles into the metal displacing the metal six inches with a loud metalic thud. "My right knuckles, knee and shin are polyfiber lined after I fell out of a helo. Nerve damage and hardened bones." He smiled widely. "I hit like a Mack truck."

"Yeah well I made my entire arm go numb, so he's probably got a concussion and doesn't even know it yet," Angel said snorting as she leaned against him once more, "Thank you Joker... I don't think I would be in this good of shape if you hadn't come and saved me."

She hated needing saving but she wasn't stupid enough to ignore the fact when she needed it.

"Okay Loise, do me a favor and find my blue leotards and I'll go grab my red cape." He said as he winked at her. "I'll teach you how to shoot in case I fail...but let's hope that I don't because you don't want this on your concience."

Angel laughed and rubbed his bare chest, "Sure I can't just paint them on?"

She stretched up once more and kissed the underside of his jaw, "Thank you Joker. But really I'll feel better as long as it's over. Whether or not if I have to end it myself to keep him from killing you. If it comes to that I'd choose you over him every day of the week. Better play time in any case."

"I don't die, ever. You didn't ask about my scars but I'll tell you." He tapped his shoulders. "Two sniper rounds, one in each shoulder." He pointed at the tiger claw marks on his chest, "Claymore, tore strait through my armor. Took a week to get the balls out." He spun slowly around in front of her. "Over three hundred scars, at least fourty of them lethal and here I am. I ain't going anywhere."

"I should draw you a guardian angel so you can have one on you at all times, I hate to say it but you'll need more then luck and determination to make sure Deon stays on the ground," Angel traced the scars on his back, "Please don't make me loose you. I was getting comfortable with you being here to help keep both our heads on."

Angel didn't know what else to say to him as she bit her bottom lip the everything of today catching up with her as she tried to swallow the sob that pulled itself out of her chest.

Joker's hand brushed the tear that was forming away from her eye. "Angel, relax. When I get done with him he won't bother you again. His family won't bother you again, and his memory won't bother you again. You don't deserve this, some people just flip shit and get psycho possesive. We'll deal with it and then laugh about it later, sound good girly?"

Angel nodded and pressed her face into his palm, "Yeah I'd really like that," she said softly sniffing slightly as she threaded her fingers through his belt loops.

She tugged on the loops lightly, "Hard to relax after all this, I can't help it, it's just reflex at this point. I'm happy your here, if you weren't here I don't know what I would have done. I mean your the first person I even thought about calling..."

Joker sneered, "I've made up my mind, even if he is talked down he will have an accident. I will not let this keep going on." Goosebumps rushed from his back to his shoulders and he pulled his hands away from her turning back to the bed but his eyes were looking out his window as his muscles quivered in anger and excitement. "I hate guys like him, more then anything."

Angel had let him walk away as she rubbed her arm with a sigh as she leaned on the door frame of the bathroom, "Careful Panda or I'm gonna hose you down," she said wryly with a soft smile.

Those were better memories, she could think about those to get her mind off seeing Joker like this. He was anticipating killing Deon for her, that was the key right there, for her. He had promised that he wouldn't kill again and she was leading him back down that path without a second thought about it.

"Joker, don't break your promises because I can look pitiful enough to get you to do it. I don't want you to break your promises."

"One way or another he will leave you alone." His head dropped down at the swords, "Your boss had a bad day once, got to see exactly what I can do with these things. All of them, blades and guns." He smiled sickly and turned back to her, "He touches you again, I can't promise his well being. I will end him brutally and more then likely nail him to the Hollywood sign with a railroad puncher." He chuckled.

Angel laughed at that, "If you could lift him up, I would pay to see that," she said unable to shake the image of him tacking Deon to the Hollywood sign.

She moved towards him and placed a kiss to the center of his chest, "Put your big boy toys away Mista J. We need to get our home a new door snookums," she said purring like Harley Quin with a wide grin as she looked up at him innocently.

"Fair enough," He opened his bag and pulled out a new pair of jeans with a new shirt. Quickly he changed into them and finished buttoning the top as he grabbed the pistols holstering them into the armpit holsters concealing them effectively. "We need to find a place that sells heavy armor doors, preferably takes cash. Any ideas?"

"Hey now I've lived here for about a year, I still dunno where half the shit in LA is. I could tell you where to find one in San Fran though..." Angel tapped her lips with a finger trying to think about where she could find a door like that, "We could always call Brian to find out and not tell him why we're asking."

That plan probably wouldn't work either now that Angel thought about it. Brian being an ex cop and all, would try to come over when they hung up on him. Then he would see the mess and have a panic attack.

"On second thought... I'm not against driving around LA to find something. I'm going to let my neighbor know so she can keep an eye on the place while we're out and about," she paused for a moment before turning back to Joker and gave him another quick kiss before darting off in the direction of where the front door used to be.
