"I know I can drive without too much of an issue, you can run my GT-R since that has a paddle shift transmission. Should be easier on your arm." Cole grinned. "Besides, you and me at 50% are still better than most drivers these days." He winked at Brian.
The dog seemed to be excessively panting, probably from the sensation in his tongue. Cole grabbed a small plastic bowl, put some tap water in it, and set the bowl infront of Max. "Even the dog can barely handle it."

"I didn't think it was that bad." Mira put her empty box in the garbage and pulled out her sketch book and colored markers, and started to work on another paint job design. "You boys have fun..." She decided it was better not to ask if she could come with them, knowing the answer would be no. "But be very careful, who knows what tricks racers here like to pull to win..."
The kitten jumped off Cole's lap and started to play with one of Mira's marker caps. Mira looked at the two boys, "Any idea what to name this little one?"

Kira walking into the hotel and up to her room a small bag of food in her arms. It had been another busy day of taking pictures in Tokyo though one thing stuck out in her mind then anything else. A crash not that one hadn't happen before while she's been here but the fact that two guys ran out to help. She could easily tell that they weren't Japanese. She grabbed her Nikon camera and flipped though the pictures. When she got to the ones from the crash she saved them and uploaded them onto her computer. As she took a closer look at them they were of two very different ages one was a teen and the other was in his late 20's or early 30's. She continued to look at the pictures she figured that they must be American tourists. She finished loading up the race pictures form earlier today and saved them with some captions sending them to her client. As she sat down at her small table and ate she could hear the people next door talking. She didn't mean to listen in but she hated being alone. She noticed right away they were speaking English and not a word of Japanese. She sighed as she finished up her food as she got up and left her room again going back out to the city to get some night shots she wished more then anything to make a new friend here so she wasn't alone.

"Is the cat a he or she?" Cole thought for a moment. "Sasha if it's female, Boris if it's male." He got up and turned towards the door. "I'm going to head outside for a bit, walk around and see if I feel any better." He opened the door and walked down the hotel hallway. He nodded at an attractive blonde that he passed by, apparently there's more americans here than he thought.

At first Kira didn't notice Cole but then stopped in her tracks thinking for a moment. After a few seconds she turned around and took a second looks at Cole. She blinked a few times then recognized the face. "Hello" She spoke with a slight southern accent. "You were one of the guys who helped out with the car wreck earlier. Am I right?

Cole looked over his shoulder when he thought he heard the blonde's voice. Her question was obviously directed towards him. He turned around and leaned on the wall. "I was one of them, yes. Brian too." He pointed towards their room door. "Were you there?"

Kira nodded slightly seeing Cole stop for her. "I was. I have pictures of the whole thing as well." She looked at the room door and realized it was the room next to hers and walked closer to him so she wouldn't take up to much room in the hallway. "That was very brave of both of you."

Cole shook his head. "Theres nothing brave about pulling people out of a car, that's just civilian duties." He scratched his head. "We're not the type to just stand by when others need help." Changing the subject, he asked. "So are you a news reporter then?"

Kira smiled slight "Well it is nice to hear that there are some nice people like you and Brian willing to help out strangers." She shook her head as well as she replied to his question . "No I'm not. I'm actually a professional photographer a client of mine needed some photos of the Japan racing scene so I came here. I'm Kira Yorkson by they way."

"Oh really?" Cole couldn't believe how ironic this was. "Are you allowed to tell me what your client intends on doing with those photos?" Worried that he and Brian may suddenly have a big problem with an american sending photos back of them in Tokyo, he needed to make sure these weren't going to get back to the police.

Kira shrugged even though she could give out information she couldn't really answer his question, "I don't even really know, but he only wants the ones that have cars drifting or professional racing. He can be very picky about what photo's are used as well." She wondered why he asked, normally that wasn't the first question that was asked to her when people found out what she did.

Well atleast it didn't sound like a police investigation, but he couldn't be sure. "Interesting, he must be an enthusiast or something. Where do you go to get these photos anyway?" Because of all the thoughts running through his head, he completely forgot Kira's introduction. "I'm sorry, I'm Cole Peyton." He extended a hand.

Kira shook his hand with a small smile. She was really starting to wonder what was going on that he kept asking all of the different questions about her client. "He's a writer for a Sports magazine here in Japan and had saw my work online that is why he hired me. That's all I really know much about him he's a new client and my first here in Japan." She knew she was telling the truth but it left her wondering what Cole was thinking. "Nice to meet you Cole."

Cole thought for a moment. A sports article on street racing; that must mean there's a huge scene here. "Well you must really have good work to be hired by a sports author." Cole nodded. "Best of luck to you." He turned back towards the hallway. "I need to run outside for a bit. Nice to meet you and I'm sure I'll see you soon." With a smile and a wave, he turned back towards the lobby and walked down. "Well that sure shakes things up." He thought to himself.

Kira watched him leave. "Well that was odd" she thought. She walked down to the lobby as well and headed outside her hands on her camera. "Maybe I will see him again soon I would like to find out why he was so interested in my client." She she sighed slightly as she walked down the busy street hoping to find something new she could capture on film.

Finally Brian and Mira were alone in the room and he could have a private conversation with her. "Mira, can I ask you something?" He waited for a moment but then simply asked her anyway. "Is there something wrong with you? Are you feeling bad? Is it really just morning sickness or are you having other troubles?" She looked a little pale and tired. Maybe their was something going on with her pregnancy. He didn't really think him or Cole had done anything to make her feel bad.
While he was watching her closely he petted the large German shepperds head.
It was odd that she didn't want to come along to see what the racing scene would be like and send the men off by themselves.
OOC: Cole and Kira, could you open a new thread so we don't have two different story lines in one thread? Cheers!

Mira looked up from her sketch book. "To be completely honest with you…I'm homesick." She looked back down at her drawing. "I miss Miami, everything about it." Setting her sketch book down she moved to sit next to Brian. "This place just isn't home." she felt alittle silly because being somewhere new was bugging her this much but it was the truth. It was gonna to take time for her to get used to this new place and for her to be able to call this place home.

For a long moment he looked at her, then blinked. This wasn't a surprise. It was to be expected. "I know what you mean. It's a pretty strange place." He took her hand and sat down next to her. "At least we're together, right?" It was meant to cheer her up but there was also a hint of insecurity in his voice. "What do you miss about Miami?" For all he knew she didn't have many friends and no family there...just a job.

Mira held his hand alittle tighter "If you weren't here with me I wouldn't have been able to do half the things I've done" She leaned against him and rest her head on his good shoulder."I miss how simple life seemed to be there." her free hand rested on her stomach. He was right at least they were together, and hopefully would still be when the baby was born.

"I don't know if you could call the mess my brothers has gotten us all in simple...or did you mean before you met me?" He turned his head to look into her face, which was half buried in his shoulder. "You second guessing your decision, don't you?" It was bound to happen sooner or later. Brian had hoped they'd have alittle more time to get to know each other better, maybe fall a little deeper in love before she was questioning her choice of throwing away her job and safety for him.
