The shots hit his windshield making him duck out of instinct as he didn't intend to catch another bulett. "Son of a..." Brian cursed at the man, who was apparently ready to even shoot him if necessary. Because he had to duck the Skyline swirfed over to the right gracing the wall and one of the cars bit at least the gun man was out of the way for now.
Suddenly Brian started worrying about Mira. What if she didn't get away? While his foot pushed the clutch to no further speed up for a second Brian watched her get in Coles car in the rear view mirror and let go of the clutch. He floored it, geared down around the corner and up the nearest ramp. "Catch me if you can, asshole!"

Unfortunetly, Hobbs didn't have a fast car/truck, so he was SOL for a pursuit, unless he took one of the hundreds of tuned cars here. He spotted a Honda NSX with some kid standing right next to it, looking shocked from what just happened in front of him. "Perfect." He ran over to him. "Son, I'm gonna need your car." He strong-armed him out of the way and jumped in the NSX, starting it and flying off with it before the victim could protest. He drove towards the exit Brian took and slide onto the road after him. "You're mine buddy."

Brian hit the main road and almost an oncoming truck with a black HONDA not far behind. As he swirved in and out of traffic he muttered. "I should have known." Whoever they'd send after him would know how to handle a fast car. He could feel sweat forming under his fingers on the wheel. As soon as he saw a side street he cut across the opposite lane and oncoming traffic and directed his favorite ride into a smaller side street. Somewhere not too far away he could hear sirens. Damn, these cops were fast, much faster than in the states.

BayLeigh groaned as she watched what happened. She closed her laptop and got into her car, turning it on and putting it in gear. She felt bad leaving Kira, but she also knew Kira wasn't in trouble with the law. She pulled out of the spot and left the garage, not too far behind the NSX. She shook her head as she watched Brian.

Adrenaline took over Hobbs as he chased Brian, he wasn't necessarily a great driver, but he was determined to say the least. After all, his daughter may be on the line here. The NSX turned out to be an absolute rocket ship, and Hobbs was catching Brian on the straight road, despite barely missing half a dozen commuters. Fitting then, when he saw the skyline turn off on a narrow side road. Hobbs threw the car at the corner, but at a little too much speed, and ended up pancaking the right side of the car against the alley wall. The NSX still ran though, and Hobbs never lifted his foot off the accelerator. It seemed to be just him and Brian, until his personal radio crackled with a heavy accent. "This pursuit team alpha, we reach your location and block all alley exits. Suspect no escape."

Satisfied Brian saw the NSX kiss the wall and slow down. If he could take a few more turns like this he'd loose this inexperienced driver as long as there weren't too many straight stretches as the guy head a heavy foot. Just as he was about to shoot out of the alley and turn right a police car blocked the whole way. They guy obviously had no idea of the speed the Skyline was at and that here was no way that Brian could stop in time. To avoid a full on collision Brian slowed down much as he could, then gripped the ebrake and send his Nissan into a 180 degree spin. The rear of his car first connected with the fender and door of the police car and then the trash cans lined up at the end of the alley, which went flying all over the place with loud metallic bangs. Only the roar of the engine was louder. The ex cop was thrown around like a rag doll but instantly got a grip on the vehicle again and put his footdown straightening it out and now heading towards the Honda. Hopefully the cop would move out of his way.

A huge grin grew on Hobbs face when he saw the R34 crash into the cruiser. But that grin turned into a frown when he saw that same R34 driving head on towards him. Hobbs slowed up and then did his best to slide the NSX sideways to block the alley. As the car came to a stop, Hobb's noticed the skyline not slowing up yet, he realized that Brian may try to crash through him. He braced himself for an impact.

"Fuck!" Brian shouted when he saw the agents bold move. He only had two choices. Stop and go to jail or crash into the damn bastard head on, which could cause both of them to get injured or even killed. Despite his record Brian wasn't a killer. He had to think fast as he was trapped between two cop cars. Within the blink of an eye he made the decision that could change his life...for the worse. Instead of sending his front end into the Honda he sent his Skyline into a sideways slide to the right and braced himself for the impact. A split second later metal connected with metal with an ear shattering sound. The right wheels of the Nissan left the tarmac for a moment before they came back down and Brian barely had time to bring up his right arm to keep his head from connecting with the side window. Instead his shoulder and arm took the impact. A scream escaped his lips but Brian didn't give himself the time to let the pain subside or glance at the driver in the other car but pushed the right door open.
At least there were two cars between him and the agent, which served as a good headstart as he made a dash for the closest building.

BayLeigh sat in her car in the middle of the Alley. She kept her distance from the other cars, she wasn't about to get into any trouble, but she did want to keep an eye on Brian. She closed her eyes as she saw the cars collide, then opened them again to watch. She pondered, she wanted to help him, especially after everything he's told her.

"Shit, this could hurt!" Hobbs exclaimed as he saw the skyline slide sideway towards his driver side. A second later the two cars made contact, and Hobbs literally felt the skyline's mass in his ribs, the next second everything went black.
Hobbs regained consciousness to the sound of saws, drills, and sirens around him. He was trapped in the NSX, and a crew attempting to cut the roof off to free him. As he regained his memory, he suddenly blurted. "Where's O'Conner? Is he in custody?" One of the officers on scene responded. "All we know is he ran into one of the many building around here, we're still looking for him." Hobbs swore under his breathe. "Whatever needs to be done, do it." The pain from the impact returned in grueling fashion, he realized he could be out for awhile.

The first door was locked but the second one open. So Brian headed inside and as the door closed found himself in complete darkness. Again a curse escaped his lips. How was he supposed to find his way now?Outside the closed door he could hear sirens and shouting so he felt his way forward and up a flight of stairs where he bumped into what seemed to be a wall. Feeling for whatever he could find his hands got a hold of a door handle, which was locked. So he stumbled further up in this complete darkness. AGENTS While their boss was chasing the main suspect three agents followed the other two, who made an escape in some sort of modified car. They had a hard time keeping up with the driver. "We're following Miss Hobbs and the other guy out on the main road." The agent looked around for street signs while his partner was driving but couldn't decipher any of them. "Don't know the name of this street, we're going north, hang on, east now!"

Cole was hoping most of the agents were after Brian, but of course life couldn't be that easy. He drove excessively erratically, trying to keep the trailing agents guess his next move. His now RWD evo didn't handle the maneuvers as well as he hoped, and as a result the tail of the car was swinging around quite a bit, tossing Mira all over the place in the backseat. Cole checked his mirror to see several pursuit cruisers filing in from all directions. Thankfully, he was steadily outpowering them through the streets, it'd be hard for any cop car to keep up with a 700 horsepower evo. Just as things seemed to be working out, he saw a massive squad of police cars ahead, almost looked like they were forming a roadblock, deciding to not take any chances, Cole turned on it city strip road to his left, which he immedietly realized was a mistake. Buses and taxi's were everywhere. "Crap."

By now the local police had most of their available cars on the streets but it didn't necessarily make things easier as they started chasing the agents car as well on top of getting in the way. Angrily the man slapped his lights on the roof top of his car and yelled at a man who was about to cross the road on a bike. "Get lost!" From a distance he spotted Cole turning off the main road and followed him into a desaster zone of smaller cars, bikes, trailors and people. There had to be a market around. "That's going to slow him down." He smiled.
In front of Cole and Mira a driver backed out onto the road without looking with a trailor full of fresh seafood.

Cole found a small opening and sped up, trouble was that some merchant with a small seafood trailer stand was after the same opening. Cole had no time to slow down, so he grabbed the ebrake and slide the car into the trailer to prevent serious damage. The small trailer flipped and fish, shrimp, crabs, lobsters, scallops, and clams flew into the air and splattered all over the Mitsubishi, and probably on a few bystanders as well. "Crazy racer! You'll pay for this!" The angry merchant yelled at Cole, who just dumped the clutch and smoked the rear tires out of there. The police meanwhile had made their way down the strip and were only a block away from Cole. With a combination of quick steering, using the sidewalk and in some cases staircases, Cole managed to get through the roughest part of the strip and accelerated foward, checking to see where the remaining police were.

Mira hardly knew what was going on as Cole threw her into his car. Her mind could not wrap itself around the fact that she just saw her dad. She tired to sit up but was thrown around to much by Cole's driving, so she just stayed laying on the seat in shock.

It was hard to follow the car through the obstacle course of people, trailors and bikes. Being police the cops had to be a lot more careful not to injure anybody, which slowed them down even more. At the end of the commotion they only saw his taill lights go right and picked up the speed again. They followed the Evo until they came to a 4 lane road leading away from the inner city. "This car has too much hp. We need air assistance!" soon a helicopter was moving closer from the north.

The fact that the evo was now a RWD was really starting to become a problem. It isn't easy to transfer 700 horses to the ground with only a single set of 245's in the rear. Great for drifting, not for evading 5-0. Thankfully, the road he turned on opened up to a 4 lane, which meant he had a good window to really put some serious distance between him and the cops. He reached 130, 140, 150 mph on the highway, dodging the occasional traffic. Just when he thought he may be home free, a helicopter came into view from his right. "Great!" Cole said aloud. He further accelerated to see if just maybe he could outrun the chopper, even though that was quite a hope.

It wasn't hard to make out the high speed chase from the air. As soon as the pilot spotted them he radioed in the position so the other cars could find the suspect. Then he went down as fast as possible. Over the loud speakers the japanese announcement: "Stop your vehicle , you're under arrest." let the driver know he had to stop.
In the meantime Brian was completely out of breath and still looking for a way out in the dark. Finally he reached an open door and found himself on the empty roof top of a 5 story building. "Shit!" He lifted his hands to his head in desperation and ran along the edge to find a possible way down. He simply could go back down and out the way he came in.

"Never!" Cole responded aloud to the helicopter speaker, not that it did any good. He was at a loss as to what to do next. Maybe he could try to go underground and confuse the pilot. He started looking around for some kind of tunnel. About ten minutes later, and once he was through downtown, he finally found one. A tunnel that went threw a small mountain range. He made way for the tunnel and watched the helicopter pull up to get over the ranges. His only big concern was that there could be police waiting for him in there.

The helicopter never left Cole but couldn't do much else in the city. Outside though, on an open spot, the cop on board was preparing to shoot out one of Coles tires. "He's driving into the tunnel." he informed the pilot. "Get around to the other side, go low so I can take a shot at him."
On the racers tail were still two white Japanese police cars, who had managed to somehow keep up with the choppers directions.
