How the hell did she know he was professional driver? He gave her surprised look. "Where'd you find out I was pro driver?"
Cole furrowed his brow, not only was this insulting, but it didn't make sense either. She claimed a big paycheck, but where would it come from? Surely she was getting paid well to round up these drivers, but he was pretty sure these men weren't paying her so much that she could cut a healthy sum to both drivers.
"Where does the driver money come from?" He asked, thinking he could maybe back her up in a corner. It almost sounded like a scheme.

Her brow rose ever so slightly “you told me in a roundabout sort of way, I guessed you confirmed” She stated shrugging a shoulder ever so slightly. She was good at reading people, and while she didn’t get it right all the time, she was glad that this time she had.
“Money isn’t a problem for me Cole” She stated looking over at him “These men hire me to find guys who need the money. Most comes from what they give me, the rest comes from my side business” Which most of her drivers worked their way up to, it was just a gig to figure out off they had what it took. Shrugging her shoulder ever so slightly she smiled.
“Clearly your not into it” Raising a brow ever so slightly she smiled “To bad” Flicking her gaze back over towards Gabe she tilted her head ever so slightly before returning her gaze over towards Cole “I didn’t mean to offend”

Cole simply shrugged when she said he indirectly told her. She was pretty damn good at reading minds. "I used to race in the Porsche GT3 Challenge." He admitted. Those were certainly the days, he was living his dream, and at only 16. Amazing how that suddenly collapsed.
Cole couldn't understand why these men would pay so much money just to watch a few chosen drivers "race." Why didn't they just buy a team or work behind the scenes here and do some real racing? It didn't add up for him.
"Let me tell you something about your hired puppets. None of them are real drivers, none of them have a true passion, and none of them ultimately have a solid direction. You know that, that's why they took the job." His eyes met hers. "If you want a real show for your clients, you gather some of the best drivers you can find for high stakes racing. No rules, just whoever crosses the line first wins. No one will be banging fenders if its fake, but if its for 100,000 dollars, you bet your ass it would be a hell of a show." He crossed his arms as he made his point. It was the business of putting on fake races that he didn't understand, to a trained eye it wouldn't even look like a race. That's what made him suspicious about Natassia's operation.

“Impressive” She stated with a genuine smile on her face. For someone who was clearly still so young, he had some skill. She liked that about him. Dark eyes flicked over to him, brow creasing ever so slightly as she listened to his words.
“Im gonna stop you right there Cole. Clearly I haven’t explained myself properly” She stated moving to lean against the side of his car once more, her ankles crossing and her arms folding over her chest. For a moment she simply stared out at the scene in front of her. Wondering how long it had been since she had been apart of a race. The last race she had was against Dom….wow that had been far too long ago. Work was making her dull.
“You see my clients they don’t want to watch races, they want to be apart of the races and they want to win. They don’t care if its fixed. There’re old men who have too much money and want to feel young again” Looking back over to Cole she offered him a smile.
“So I spend my nights scouting for guys I know can make the rush worth it. My clients may want to win but they still like the feel of a decent race” She shrugged a shoulder slightly, “But your idea is extremely interesting, I might even branch out” Yea branch out from the drug runs most of her ‘drivers’ ended up doing.

"They do?" He questioned the fact that her clients don't care whether they're fixed or not. He'd seen fixed races before, they were always utter crap since no one wanted to bang up there car or take any risks for, well, nothing.
"How are these gentlemen apart of the races if they neither own the car or drive it?" That was the one point he still wasn't completely clear on.
He began to wonder if there was a bigger picture behind this, he was being scouted to be a fixed racer? That made little sense, why not just hire someone not on his level and pay them less to do the same job? He carefully tried to study her to see if he could get a vibe that there was a bigger proposition.

Natassia looked over at him with a small shrug of her shoulders, “My clients are the type of clients who need to keep a low profile. So there’re in the race, but they use one of our cars, and then they go up against whoever we scouted for that race” Shrugging a shoulder slightly she smiled.
“It’s easy money, and its guaranteed” Looking away from him again she chuckled gently “Not that you would have any problem with that, the way you race, I’m sure money isn’t a problem” Licking her lips she brought her gaze back over towards him.
“And at the end of it, the guys do good, they get a permanent cash flow. There’s always need for drivers in my line of work” He was interested, wondering what the catch was, he wasn’t as foolish as some of the other guys around here were. Now she was seriously starting to wonder if he had already been scouted, it wouldn’t surprise her, but if he had it was going to be bad for business, you didn’t step on toes if you wanted to keep them.

"I see, so they actually do drive." He nodded. "You should just have them race against each other. A bunch of business execs going at it would be hilarious." He laughed.
She was right, money wasn't much of a problem, not these days anyway. He just got a bag of about 400k, and he was due for another payment of around 60k. He seriously doubted that whatever this paid would even touch that, not that money would persuade him to doing something that he thought was just utterly stupid. He simply shrugged and said. "Depends how greedy I get."
Her next few lines especially got his attention, it was maybe a slight hint that there was a little more to this. "So is that all you do for a living, organize races?" He quizzed with a raised brow.

Laughing gently she nodded her head “I would agree, but apparently that’s not good enough for their egos” She stated with a small shrug of her shoulders. Dark hues flicked over towards him and she nodded her head ever so slightly.
“Honesty I couldn’t scout anyone of these guys. I mean there only going to lose right, they get a pay check at the end of it” Her dark eyes locked on his “But I like the best.” She stated licking her lips slowly “And you’re the best” Shrugging a shoulder slightly she crossed her feet at the ankles.
“When it comes to drivers Cole, there are always more jobs, and always ones that pay more money. I suppose you can call the first just a test at how well you perform” Shifting ever so slightly she looked away from him. It was more a test of how well they followed orders, and she didn’t have enough on this guy yet to push his buttons like she had done Jack, but either way, she hoped she had perked his interest enough.

"Oh great, so they're just like these guys except with even more money." He chuckled, taking a glance at her.
Even if it looked a little cocky, he nodded in agreement with her evaluations with him as a driver, but that was something top drivers always believed. They trained themselves to believe they were the best...even when they got beat, hence racers excuses were born.
"A test at how good of an actor I am behind the wheel?" He raised an eyebrow in a bit of a comical matter. However, when she started implying that there was something beyond this, his interest in the conversation was reignited, and so he got straight to the point. "And what is the 'second' then?" His eyes gazed over to hers.

Natassia nodded her head, “Mean ass temper to” She stated, oh she had seen what some of them did when they didnt get their way, it was never fun. Dark eyes flicked over towards him and her head tilted to the side ever so slightly “Come on, you can front for these guys, just the same. Only it wouldn’t be acting you’d go in with the front that you were gonna win, and just lose, makes their ego double and our pay check is good”
“The second is a job with a little more danger to it. Open roads, lots of traffic and high price cargo” She stated looking over towards him. With guys like him there was no need to sugar coat it, she had figured he was working for someone. He didn’t seem half as shocked as he should have been when she had started speaking to him, and he was asking far too many questions.
“The money at the end of it, will be enough to get your garage up and running, but it would be more than a little side biz” Lifting her gaze to his she rose a brow “So are you interested, or do you need to go ask your boss”

His expression didn't really change the second time she tried to persuade him into this "fake" driving. He made plenty of money with his current occupation, why did he need to do something he really didn't want to?
However, when she mentioned the second job, his expression did change. So he was right, there was a bigger operation behind this. By her description of it, he had a decent guess of what it was, drug trafficking or something very similar. This was something he was more open to, much more dangerous yes, but this wasn't fake, it was real, and he heard stories of the boatloads of cash drivers would make per trip. "So ultimately, you want me to move into the second job?" He raised a brow.
He thought for a moment and then continued. "That is something I'm willing to do, for the right salary anyway." He grinned. Then she mentioned his boss, how'd she know that? Whatever, she probably heard through the grapevine he had duties with mafia, maybe that was why she was talking to him. "Boss doesn't need to know." He smirked.

So he wasn’t too impressed with the initial job, too bad, but ultimately nothing she couldn’t deal with, there were other drivers out there stupid enough to take the job. Raising a brow at him she watched interest slip into his gaze and a smirk came to her lips, she he liked the dangerous life. She could respect that. “Ultimately, like I said the first is more a test of loyalty then anything else” Shrugging a shoulder slightly she smiled “But we can skip the formalities, I know how well you drive and I’m pretty sure you know how to keep your mouth shut” But now she had his name she could do some digging figure out who he cared for and go from there.
“Well then how about we discuss the salary, im sure we can come up with something we’re both happy with” Licking her lips a soft amused laugh fell from her lips and she took a step closer to him, her hand lifting to rest against his chest and she moved closer until she was able to speak directly into his ear.
“You walk a dangerous line Cole, careful now” Stepping away her dark eyes flicked over towards him, eyes twinkling “Wouldn’t want to get yourself hurt now would we”

"I'm as loyal to my partners as they are to me." He blinked and crossed his arms as he leaned against his car. Innerly, he was glad when she started talking about skipping the BS and getting straight to business. Maybe he should be more careful here though, he didn't exactly know what he was getting into.
"Tell me about these high dollar cargo runs, what would I be shipping?" He raised his brow at her, expecting a solid answer. He decided he'd need a substantial amount of money for this, there wasn't much of a reason for him to take another job like this. But in his mind, he was already living ridiculously on edge, he probably couldn't make his life more dangerous than it already was.
Her hand on his chest was unexpected, and it made give her an inquisitive look. "All I know is a dangerous life, its how I've supported myself. Up to today I've handled myself just fine."

Her brow quirked ever so slightly and dark eyes twinkled with amusement. “Well im glad to hear that Cole” She stated with a small nod of her head, because she would just hate to rough him up a little.
“We ship a lot” She stated with a nod of her head “The usual stuff, plus every now and then the unusual as well” Shrugging a shoulder slightly she let out a breath “Not something I can discuss here, to many ears, to many eyes” She stated “Im sure you’ll understand, but we can take this conversation back to my place if you like”
“So you enjoy living on the edge, I like that” Pushing away from the car she watched as another one shot over the finish line, looking bored with the situation she flicked her gaze back over towards him, “You wanna follow me?” She questioned with a raise of her brow.

Well wasn't she being unspecific, it was almost a little frustrating to him, but he understood...sort of. At least he had gotten her down to discussing the real business here, the business he'd be interested in.
He took a bit of a pause to contemplate this, so many unknowns with her, so many risks. "Alright." He finally stated, opening the door to his car. "On the edge is how I've gotten to this point, why change." He shrugged and got into the vette.

“Good choice” She stated with a smile before moving back over to her Lamborghini, heaving in a deep breath she nodded her head at Gabe and Lukas who both slid into the respective cars. Sliding into her own, the Lamborghini roared to life and she pulled out after Gabe and Lukas, who gaze catching the rearveiw mirror to make sure Cole was following her. The cars continued on their journey, leading further and further away from streets and climbing higher into the strip. Finally the houses became further apart and the homes became bigger and flashier. Finally her own summer home came into view, puling her car in behind Gabe, she looked over at her two large bodyguards, “Make yourself scarce” Gabe laughed, “Know I cant do that Nat” Eyeing him he stepped away and her gaze shifted over towards Cole, gesturing him inside. Leading him through marble floors she took him straight to the kitchen “Whats your poison?” She questioned with a raise of her eye as she pulled free a bottle of Jack from the bar.

Damn she had a nice house, but then again he couldn't say he was surprised, given that in all likelihood she was the center of huge drug ring, or something similar. The bodyguards seemed a little unnecessary, was she really so important that people constantly targeted her? He shrugged it off nonetheless and nodded to them as he walked inside.
"Anything bacardi, if you got it." He said while giving the bar a quick look over. "So let's get down to business." He said as he leaned against a wall. "What exactly would I be shipping? What's expected of me?" He crossed his arms.

Natassia nodded her head, turning to grab his preferred drink from the bar pouring some into a glass she handed it over to him and in turn moved to grab her own glass, this one of Jack. Heaving in a breath she leant herself against the counter, popping her hip to the side as she made herself comfortable. “You’ll deliver whatever I tell you to” She started, flicking her dark eyes over towards him.
“Mostly drugs or money, that type of thing” Taking a sip of her drink she placed it on the counter behind her, focusing once more on Cole. “Of course the drive should be relatively easy, but we do have instances of the cops getting wind of things. Then your job would be making sure you’re not caught” She eyed him with hard eyes letting him know that getting caught was not something he would want to happen.
