She felt bad for Mira, but shook her head when Brian said to her how worried the mother of his children was because she thought he wouldn’t take great care of them. If Mira could only see him right now…
Hiding wasn’t the best thing but in this case, it was better for Mira not to know he was with Mia or that her children were having a wonderful time at the Toretto´s house. She rubbed his back. “Let her believe what she wants, to even doubt of you when it comes to take care of your children… If only she could see you right now, but of course we can´t take that chance…”
The day was cool and not hot as the previous days when as soon as you stepped out the sun was burning your skin. It was a nice day to take the twins out, and what better place than to the beach. “It shouldn’t take you more than 5 minutes to prepare a bottle, come on. I´ll show you,”
True to her word, it took her nothing to show him how to prepare them a bottle; it was easier having those bottle disinfected. “See, it´s not that hard,” Jason shrieked in Brian´s arms, his little arms moving up and down with a big smile on his face. “Let´s go to the beach then,” waiting for Brian to take the diaper bag.

Together they drove through the streets of LA and Brian was telling the kids about driving car just for the fun of it. It was more for his own amusement and Mia's than anything else because which 3 month old knows where the clutch in a car is or what it's for. "Jase is going to be an awesome driver one day...he'll own a Skyline for sure." Brian still held the old fascination for the Japanese imports even though he'd give anything for ANY decent car right now. "I need to get my hands on a better set of wheels soon or I'll go crazy. I just don't know where to get enough money. Even if I win a few races I need the right buy in...and no I'm not going to accept anything from you." He let his head roll over to look at her admiring her beauty. Mia looked so at peace and happy today. Something had put her in a good mood, which Brian was thankful for.

She threw her head back laughing hearing how Brian was starting to push Skyline to his 3 month old son. “You sound so sure. What makes you think he´ll choose a Skyline? How about driving a Charger?” The laughter of Jason warmed her heart. She felt content to have not only Brian but also those precious kids. He mentioned how he desperately needed to get a new set of wheels. “Just take the money…” but he shook his head. “Please.” She tried one more time as they got closer to the beach. *** He parked and got out taking Jason and the diaper bag. She lifted Laura, his daughter moved her hands but didn’t open her eyes, once they found the perfect place to lay down they took out a blanket and placed it on top of the sand hearing the wave’s crash against the shoreline. Before setting Laura on the blanket Mia encouraged the baby to wake up. Laura slowly moved her arms not wanting to be disturbed from her long nap. Mia got closer touching the little girls’ nose with her own and the little girl eyes finally open. “Hi,” Mia whispered as she moved her face giving the girl space to stretch out her arms.

"Why would he want to driver a CHARGER?" Brian gave her a bewildered look. "Your brother isn't around and are you going to support the Charger fraction? I thought you said the car is a damn curse." He repeated the words she had spoken years ago.
Brian ignored her money and kept his eyes on the road. "I'm already living in your home. I'm not taking your money, Mia. You gotta work damn hard for that."
-- With Jason in his arms Brian kneeled down on the sand and let the bag slide off his shoulder. Brian had expected to be shot, to get run off the street but the last thing he ever anticipated was holding two babies and wearing such fashionable accesories like diaper bags. Babies had just never crossed his mind.
When he watched Mia kiss his little girl awake he couldn't help the warm feeling that washed over him and filled him with joy and happiness. "That has to be the cutest thing I've ever seen." He smiled at the woman by his side and let his free hand caress her back.
The he micked the gesture with his son, who preceeded to try and suck the tip of his nose. "Are you really hungry again?" brian wrinkled his brow. "You're going to be a bruiser."
The day was quite cool but the soft breeze blowing over them and the waves softly rolling against the shore were almost nicer than on a hot summer day.

It was so funny to see the look Brian made when she mention the Charger. “Yes, I did mention the Charger was a curse BUT I learned to love it,” she eyed Jason who was still cooing. “He still has a couple of years to make that choice,” she smiled, if his child decided to not pay attention to the Skyline daddy was going to die.
The smiles and the laughter faded for a few minutes, the topic of money was something Brian didn’t seem to like, specially the part when she offered him some money. “Yes, you live with me. So what? You aren’t taking my money… I am giving it to you, that´s different,” It was such a beautiful day; she would have a ton of time to talk about with him about the money.
She placed Laura on the blanket and search through the diaper bag to prepare his food for the day. “Yes, he is. Good thing we came prepare,” She pulled out the familiar bottles, and the kids knew what was coming next, Jason little eyes sparkle and tried to reach for the empty bottle.
A few seconds to mix the powder formula with some warm/hot water, enough for Jason to tolerate the temperature of the water. “Here it is hon,” she gave it to Brian as Jason squirmed in his father´s arms wanting to eat.
She took Laura and sat her on her lap; the attention of his brother eating was not what caught the little girl attention but the waves crashing and the sound of it.

"I'm not taking any of your money, Mia. It's time for me to get a real job again." He didn't say what exactly that real job would be because he didn't want to start another discussion but he was adament about not taking her hard earned dollars. "I'm not going to live on 'Mia-wellfare'."
He watched carefully what she did with the powder, water and bottle. How she tested the temperature on her wrist to be able to do it when he had to. As soon as the little guy laid his eyes on the bottle he started squirming so much that Brian almost dropped him. "Hang on a minute." brian tried to get a better grip on him before he let the top of the bottle get within his reach. The little guy latched on to it and never let go. "Holy crap. you're hungry." Brian said with astonishment.
Then he kept a good eye on him to make sure her wasn't choking on the milk.
Once he was sure his son was okay he looked over at Mia was was lost watching Laura. "How many of these do they have a day and do they eat anything else?" Just for the fun of it he pulled it out of his sons mouth to let a droplet fall on his hand and taste it. It tasted like sweetened milk. Of course Jason protested so Brian let him have the rest. "I don't know why you like this so much, it tastes like something's missing...maybe some coffee."
A couple was passing the by in a little distance. the two were holding hands and looked like they were in love. The young woman pointed at Mia and him, which confirmed his suspicion.

“That´s not what….” She stopped herself from starting an argument; she wasn’t looking forward to do that. Instead, she tested the powder milk temperature mixed with the hot water in the back of her hand before giving it to Jason who was ready to eat.
Mia took out the second bottle and mixed it with powder. Laura´s arms were too short to reach the warm bottle. “Alright,” she lowered it and Laura followed Jason´s action never letting go. “They have quite a few of these throughout the day, as they get older you introduce them to new things, it depends on each baby,” She chuckled at the faces Brian made when he tasted Jason´s milk.
Her gaze went back to the little girl in her arms who was getting ready to finish her bottle and was starting to close her eyes. Mia padded the baby´s back until she heard Brian´s daughter burp and rock her for a few minutes in her arms until she was asleep.
The sound of laughter made her tear her gaze from Laura spotting a young couple. A slight smile appeared in her lips, looking at how happy they looked, not really knowing how or what to feel about them suddenly becoming the center of attention. “Looks like he is done too,” Mia pointed to Jason who was starting to fell asleep too.
