"Well, she hasn't come around in a few days and I'm not sure what's going on. She hasn't even talked to Jimmy, and she always talked to him." It might have had something to do with Maria, but he had just talked to the girl, hadn't even flirted. That could wait til Faye got to Miami though. He wasn't airing that shit on the phone, at least not to anyone but Suki.

Faye furrowed her brow and shrugged her shoulders, woman conffused her as much as men did. "Tell ya what soon as we hit Miami ill talk to her"She stated softly.

"Thanks, baby. Now do you need to get off the phone or can you multitask and pack while talkin' to me?" He didn't want to delay her leaving, but he had missed talking to her, and Jimmy just wasn't stimulating conversation.

Faye laughed rolling her eyes "Im insulted Tej...im female of course i can mulitask" She shook her head once more finally pushing herself up from the bed adn actually moveing so she coudl finish packing, all she needed now was her shampoos and makeup.

"Okay so when you headin' out so I can go make sure the house is clean?" he asked, glad that his cell had a full battery as he picked up the keys to his truck and walked out into the garage proper, nodding at Jimmy to hold the fort. He wouldn't move Jimmy's stuff, but he would centralize it and make it easier for him to pack his shit and get out. There was also some things he needed to do, like some food for the fridge and such.

"Everything'll be ready for you regardless. but if y'all are both driving I'm assuming you'll be here the day after you leave?"

Faye shrugged, doing the metal math in her head. "Maybe"SHe stated yawning ever so slightly "But we're both beat so we might stop, ill let you know though when we're almost there"

She moved to unzip another bag, quickly grabbing her hair products, including hair dryer and straighteners.

"That's fine. So what's been happenin' over there, Faye?" He'd heard vague murmurings that Verone was out and about.

"Does Brian know Verone's out?"

Faye furrowed her brow, Verone, she had heard talkings of him the day before, after all the guy had the guts to show up at the wedidng, with a nod of her head she dumped her straightners into her bag also, "Oh yea he knows alright"SHe stated with a shake of her head, she didnt see the big deal herelf, Verone had seemed alright, he had his daughter and was having a relaxing day with them, in fact the second he realized that it was Brians big day he had offered to leave.

"Well tell him to keep his head down, aight? I don' wanna have to go out there for anything but to visit." He sighed, actually turning the truck on. "He's not a nice man, no matter what he puts out in public. I was glad he got put away, honestly."

Faye laughed softly, "You know Brian better then i do, he cant keep his head down" She turned around, looking around her room, trying to decide if she needed anything else, her brow furrowed at Tej's words.

"Everyone changes though"

"Not his kind... But enough about that... Jack treating you right? I heard he was a hell-raiser back in the day..." He pulled up to a fast-food joint, realizing he was actually hungry. "I'm glad you're coming home, baby-girl."

Faye was glad Tej had dropped the subject, Faye was a big beliver of second chances. With a smile she licked her lips dropping herself down on the bed, "Jack is amazing" She stated softly "I cant wait for you to meet him"

Although she couldnt altogether agree with him on the comeing home part, she was half terrified half excited. "Yea well hopefuly ill agree with you when i get there"
