Brian had completely forgotten that he asked Jack for a favour so when he showed up he grabbed his brother and handed him a sign. "Put up that sign at the corner up there and grab another case of beer." He handed Jack the sign and some cash before he turned around to greet two girls that had just arrived. "Hi there, ladies. How can I help you?" "We need an oil change." One giggled. "No problem. Can you bring your car here tomorrow?" The giggled again and nodded, then walked around the store.

Diablo laughed, "Yeah that answers my question Tank," she said teasingly as she looked the other girl over; pretty brunette, wide eyes, mouth currently in a contemplative frown, Diablo tapped her lips before making the 'I got it' motion, "Barbeque... who knows how long ago... I broke down out side your place and you guys gave me a hand fixing my engine."
She smiled at the woman and non-chalantly checked out the motocrosser as he talked to Joker before walking by, "Damn I love Cali... you never find them else where. Anyway, I will leave you before the stampede gets here. It was nice to see you again Faye, see you sometime later today Joker, you know in case I get swallowed by the crowd I'll see you at home."
Home was what she respectively called their apartment, it wasn't exactly right to call it her apartment now since he was living in the other room. She slipped off between the people coming from every direction for food, snagging a beer as she went, Diablo figured she would check up on Brian and see if he needed any help with any thing. That was if she could find him in all these people.

Jeremy looked up at the Grand Opening sign and took a deep breath, into the lions den. He promised Faye he would pop by and give her friends some business that and he heard Diablo was now working here which meant he'd have an engine for his Firebird at long last, that and he could get his Camero engine fixed up.
He let out a long breath and pulled up parking with the long lines of cars sitting outside the massive garage. Gripping his keys tightly he slipped out of the car and walked up to the front grabbing a flyer from a sandy haired man who looked pretty familiar. Jeremy thanked him and slipped by, having not been able to place the face before the greeting turned into a staring session.
Slipping through the crowd he looked around before pulling out his cell phone and texting Faye, 'Hey Faye I'm here lost in the crowd near the NOS tanks. Where can I find you?' He double checked that he didn't call her any terms of endearment because he noticed when those slipped out she stiffened a bit.
Keeping his eyes looking out for Faye until she responded he glanced around. It was a nice place even if it was filled to busting with people talking, eating, drinking, and spectating. Jeremy blinked, there was a race track out back, an honest race track right behind the garage, he shook his head that was a wicked idea.

Faye smiled over at Diablo, now she knew it, she knew she had known her, just hadn’t been able to place her, with a smile she turned her gaze between Walter and the woman, when she had left her gaze turned over to Joker, “Home huh?” She questioned with a soft laugh. Shaking her head the phone in her pocket vibrated before shrilling out a tune.
Pulling it free her fingers wrapped around the phone, and her dark gaze wondered over the message quickly, her smile turning larger as she read the message. Her and Jeremy had thankfully been doing good, and for the first time she wasn’t worrying about what could go wrong, thanks to Walter she was dealing with what was going right.
Her fingers moved quickly as she replied ‘By the grill right of the NOS, xx’ She kept her phone in her hand in case he had trouble locating it, but she doubted it, the smell of the food was making even her hungry.

Jeremy felt the phone vibrate in his hand, sliding it open he smiled at the message and followed his nose, spotting Faye and the grill keep, who was a big muscular guy with scars on his arms and probably else where too. He slipped up behind her and put his hands on her hips kissing the back of her head lightly.
"Can I get those kisses not in text form?" Jeremy asked stepping to her side with a warm smile, "You look amazing as always Faye."
He cast another quick glance at the big guy as he kept one hand on her side, not possessively just comfortably. It was another one of those things he quickly adapted to having noticed she wasn't one to be treated like a possession, which he got. Jeremy pretty much doted on her and kept trying to keep their relationship interesting, most of the time when he was working he was texting her quips or telling her he was excited about what they were doing that night, but it wasn't routine it was pretty sporadic.

Faye felt the hands resting against her hips and smiled softly, her eyes drifting closed at the feeling of him kissing her head, a soft laugh fell from her lips and once she tilted her head to press a soft kiss to his lips, her fingers brushing against his cheek gently, dark eyes locked on his face, memorizing it like she did every time she saw him. He had been pretty interesting so far, he kept up with his promise, he had kept things interesting, kept her guessing, kept her smiling.
Swallowing her hand wrapped around his waist, a soft blush creeping over her cheeks at his words “Thanks…this is Joker…Joker this is Jeremy” She introduced the two of them, gaze darting between the two of them.

Jeremy grinned and squeezed her side softly thanking her as his cheek leaned slightly into her finger tips. He really didn't know why she kept doing that, it was like she was trying to engrain his face in her mind. Not that she needed to, he tried to make sure that whatever they did together wouldn't push them apart again, because after the way the sudo date had ended it nearly killed him when they started closing themselves off to one another.
He looked at the massive man and nodded to Faye as he reached out with his free hand, "Nice to meet you Joker," Jeremy said smiling as he told himself to be friendly.
This was probably a good friend of hers and he seemed to fit here at the garage not to mention if the guy could break Jeremy in half if he wanted to.

Brian decided to check the track to make sure things weren't getting out of hand. An accident was the last thing they needed today. He spotted a crazy motocross rider whirling around the trek looking for some competition. The guy was obvioulsy in the wrong place but having a lot of fun. Just then he spotted Faye at the grill with the guy he had met at the barbeque. Back then Jack had already hated his gutts and Brian was sure that even though he called it quits he wouldn't like seeing the long haired guy today. He stepped closer to Faye. "Can I talk to you?" He took her aside and whispered. "Jack's here, you know that? He's going to explode."

Putting his skills on display he rode the last bit of the track on his backtire, showing the crowd a nice, long wheely.
"So who's going to race me now?" Eagerly he looked at the faces in the crowd, most of them were only there to watch but some looked interested. He climbed off his bike and took off the helmet. The heat of the day had made his hair stick to his head.
"You guys only race cars? If anybody hands me the keys to their car I promise I'll win and you'll get the dough!"
Jimmy was here to have fun and it didn't matter how.

"You got a name kid?" Diablo called leaning on the railing her keys already in her hand, "I'm not that familiar with the rules around here but most the time if you can't put your money where your mouth is... I got an itch for a race, so if you can find a donor car I'll race ya."
She was looking him over carefully, he might have some skills in a car but he was just showing off at this point trying to play with the big dogs. She could respect him for that and the fact there wasn't anyone else bothering to try and race him when he was on a motocross bike.
Diablo glanced around and spotted Brian, she nudged one of her guys and nodded to him, "Grab me Brian will you? Gotta check this all over with the boss man. Don't give me that look, technically I work for him."
The lanky black haired kid slipped through the crowd and grabbed Brian's shoulder, "Hey Brian, Diablo wants to see you by the track."

Joker looked the young man up and down then smiled. "Eh just call me Joker." He clapped the man on the back, "As for home Faye, don't get smart with me lady!" He growled jokingly, "Actually I'm renting a room from her since my landlord got arrested, hard to find places that don't need a renters agreement." He shook his head, and paused when he saw Brian walk up. "Eh shite," His Irish accent slipped out as he ran a hand over his head. "This should be enteresting."

Tiffinni's blue ducati whirred to a stop in the parking lot catching the eyes of a lot of patrons. She slid off the seat and removed her helmet, her blond hair cascaded down her back and for fun she partially undid her biker jacket to show a bikini top the same shade as her bike. Her eyes scanned through the crowd until she saw the group from the races.
Pushing her way through the crowd she made her way towards the grill. "Hey sexy!" She shouted as she got closer, her eyes were locked on the larger man behind the grill. Then she shifted her gaze to Brian, "Oh two sexy men!" She clapped her hands together sarcastically. "Where were you guys last night? The streets were packed!"

Jeremy nodded to the large man, "Nice to meet you."
He turned as Faye was pulled away from him, frowning slightly Jeremy watched the conversation passively. Faye was a big girl who could take care of herself even if she just got pulled away by a surfer looking guy who seemed pretty upset. Taking a deep breath he glanced around seeing Diablo leaning over a railing talking to a motocross guy and there was another guy walking up to Brian and another girl in... well there was a jacket and a bikini top and after that there were too many people to tell.

"Calm down man, you look anxious." He laid his hand on Jeremy's shoulder. "Grab a beer, her ex is her and I think they had a bit of a fight before she left. Brian probably is thinking he's gunna try something but I'll give Jack a bit more credit then that." He returned to flipping the burgers. "What do you want burger? Steak? Brat? Good ol fashion stadium dog?" He motioned the tongs across the grill when suddenly he saw Tiffinni, "Speaking of overdone..." He laughed and gave her a quick hug, "I was helping set up for the opening today."

Faye clennched her jaw the second Brian pulled her away, dark eyes lifted to meet his clear ones. Jack was here...of course he was, why the hel didnt she think of that, this place was right up his alley. Heaving in a breath she shook her head,"He called it quits Bri not me, im not gonna put my happiness on hold because he doesnt like me with some other guy" She stated calmly, her dark eyes scaned hisface with a raised brow.
Shaking her head she heaved in a breath and with one last shake of her head she returned towards the grill, her gaze sweeping over Joker the woman who had arrived and Jeremy....yet she couldnt shake the feeling of dread at the mention of Jack....
"Hey im Faye" Her gaze shifted towards Tiff as her arm slid back around Jeremy's waste, "Sorry bout that, Bri likes to play big concerned brother, especially when my actual brother is looking for trouble today" Her gaze shifted over to Walter, silently asking him to keep an eye on Lee so that didnt happen.

"Ah double shit, Leon's here?" Joker looked at his beer and set it down, guess the crowd was going to be in for one hell of show, "Okay Brian start selling tickets, Faye, Tiff start placing bets." He said with a grim seriousness in his voice before laughing. "I'm kidding. If things get out of hand I'll put them both in time out...or in the trunk of my car until they cool off." His smile didn't quite reach his eyes showing a half morbid grin. "We are here for the cars not for drama so I'll stop it before it goes too far."

Faye smiled over at Joker "Thanks" She stated softly, the last thing she needed was her brother picking a fight with Jack. He had done as she had asked and not gone lookign for him, but that didnt mean if he didnt see him here today he wouldnt make his feelings known. She just hoped she didnt run into Jack either, she doubted her as of late, permenent good mood wouldnt last.
"Okay give me a burger" She stated untangling herself from Jeremy so she could move closer to Joker.

After the talk with Faye Brian shot a glance over his shoulder but Jack wasn't back from his run yet. It wouldn't be long though. Then he turned his attention on the kid asking him to come along.
Near the racetrack a young hotshot in motocross pants and a shirt was looking for somebody to race him and obviously for a car. From a distance he had seen him tear up the track , which wasn't hard on a dirtbike. But this guy was hot for a good race. "Anybody lending you a car would be crazy, bro. I can give my an old rustbucket. If you can do one lap in the time anybody else does two you win a case of beer, how's that?"

"Are you the owner here?" He waited for the guy to nod, then added. "Tell you what. If I do one round faster in your rust bucket than somebody else in one of those pimped out rides, I'll get to drive a decent car around the track."
The crowed gave him the eye but nobody really took him serious. No wonder. He had never seen anyone of these people before. It wasn't his crowd. "C'mon, who pities me and races me in that old rust can?"

Brian was in a good mood today. With that many people showing up it must mean a lot of business coming in. He seized the guy up, then wrapped his arm around Walters big neck. "What do you say?" Then he tossed the keys to the old Chevy to the eager looking motocrosser. "It's parked over there. It's old but I still want it back in one piece. What's your name?"
