At first Brian twitched under Dom's touch because he knew very well that any sort of physical assault could easily lead to him ending up in the hopsital but was glad to see that the old thread didn't seem to exist any more. "Mia wanted me to leave....eventually I met somebody else." Brian gave him the short version leaving all the complicatiosn out.
"Yeah, some pretty lasting memories." Never before had he been in as much trouble and still wasn't sure what would come out of it. "I still don't know what was in that file...It could all be a big hoax or disappear. Or maybe Walter, the only witness, dies and then what happens…?” For a moment they were walking side by side with Brians mood getting darker. Yet he asked. “So how did Mia get you out? Magic?”

Dom simply said no more after Brian's explanation. Neither he or Mia were willing to talk about it seemingly, and that indicated to him that maybe he should just stay out of it...for now.
"The file wasn't a hoax. No man would risk his life just to give shitty evidence. Walter knew what he was getting into I believe, he just had a guilt trip." He deducted from his own experience of that afternoon. "The spotlight may be taken off you for awhile, and put on to whoever did this. The fact that whoever shot him didn't want that evidence getting to the judge practically proves your innocence right there." Dom let out a noticeable sigh at Brian's stubbornness on the subject. "We've got family friends who have a say in the justice system. Let's just leave it at that O'Conner."
