She nodded at his words "Okay," she turned around and entered the house followed by Brian. Once they were inside she lock the door and went back to the kitchen to wash the dishes, taking those minutes to calm down.
She pointed to one of the rooms a few steps away from the kitchen. "Cole´s in Vince and Leon room, there´s a second bed, then there´s Jesse´s room upstairs, your choice," she wash her hands and dry them.
Finally she walked to where the stairs were. "Brian..." she call out to him who was distracted in his own thoughts, he look up at her. "Thank you,"

OOC: Didn't know I was staying at the Toretto's Cole spent a few minutes after dinner conversing with Dom. It was actually quite a pleasure to finally meet the guy he heard so much about, and in some cases, even compared to. If only the matter wasn't so dark, and they could talk about more cheery things, like that charger he was dying to know about. Instead the time was spent by Cole explaining what the mob was like, how they dealt with enemies, and even family. Eventually, he retired to the guest room, which apparently housed a few other street legends back in the day. He was surprised that they requested him to stay, but it was a nice gesture of trust. He continually asked himself how far he would go to help them, certainly if Stephano found out about any of this he was done for, but he knew who the bad guy was in this case. He already took a strong disliking to Stephano's absolute disregard for human life, but throwing newborns in the equation threw Cole over the cliff. He had to be stopped, this madness needed to end. God know's how many lives would be saved if he was taken off the streets. As if it was a joke, his phone suddenly vibrated, and the caller ID read the mob boss himself. Swallowing some nerves, Cole answered, sounding as casual as possible. As it turned out, Stephano was calling to inform him that he had just entered a major race with several other high-class tycoons with three million buy in to be placed per car entered. It was going to be a 30+ mile race across the outskirts of Los Angeles. No closed streets, no rules, no nothing, and Stephano was telling Cole that he had 48 hours to prepare a car and show up, win or else. The uneasy feeling of such a race invaded Cole, but then he hatched an idea. Stephano told him that "everyone" was going to be there, in the sense that just about everybody who was in a high position in Dieseli's mob would be there, watching to see if they were about to be a lot richer than they already were, or not. This was an opportunity. "Brian." He stepped out into the living room and enthusiastically called out to his friend. He saw deep expressions between he and Mia, and wondered if he picked a bad time to interrupt. "I think I know how we can get Stephano's gang in one shot."

Just when she was about to call it a night, Cole exited the room and join them at the living room. The way he call out to Brian seemed like there was hope after all. Mia approach Cole. "He called you, didn´t he?"
She was afraid to ask, knowing how Stephano wanted things to be done, it always had to be his way, if not...well...they all knew pretty much what that second way or option was "So, what´s the plan?" She couldn´t help but feel uneasy.

They must have heard him talking from the room. "That'd be right." He sighed and leaned against the hallway. "There's this race in two nights that he's going to have me drive in. A big stakes one too, so big that a bunch of the head honchos are going to show up to watch. You wanna take these guys out, that's the time to do it." He said with a nod. "We get Hobbs on Stephano's case, and stage a big bust for that night, they'll have no way of seeing it coming." His eyes were trained on Mia, then Brian's.

Cole's words were the best thing Brian had heard in days. He stopped dead in his tracks and turned his attention on his friend. "A big race? Who gets to race?" The little wheels in his head started spinning immediately. If the mob really got together that night everybody needed a way to be there without being obvious. "Can anybody with the right cash join?"
He shot Mia a glance out of the corner of his eye and started smiling. "This might be it. If we set it up right, we can take a few of them down. We just need the feds in place and Mira's dad is on board. Then we need enough evidence on hard crimes." He gave Cole a nod.
Then a thought crossed his mind. "Do you know what you're doing, Cole? This could get you in real deep shit."

"What if this is our only choice?" she looked at Brian. She agreed with Brian about Cole, if things went wrong then Cole will no be the only one in trouble. But, what else could they do? When will they have another chance like this again?
"We have a 50/50 chance, nothing can go wrong at this point, and if it does we need a Plan B," It was going to be a long night.

"Me and a few other hired wheelmen I suppose. Stephano told me it's a three million buy in per car, winner takes all." He chuckled a little when he saw the expression on their faces. "You see why I was inclined to take this job?" He laughed. "I could probably get you in if want to race, bro." He shrugged at Brian. "Stephano's asked me about you with quite a bit of interest in the past."
Cole rolled his eyes when Brian talked about the danger. "Honestly, this is probably our safest option. If this is successful then they're all in jail. If it goes wrong, then we're all dead. But we're probably dead anyway." He actually had a pretty good idea of what it was going to look like when the police confronted Stephano. They weren't going to go down without a fight. He thought it would probably come down to how well trained L.A's SWAT department was.

Brian listened to every detail Cole was willing to share but the buy in still made his jaw drop slightly. He had never been in a race for that kind of money or even heard of one. "I wouldn't know where to get that kind of money." Cole told him about Stephanos interest in him btu shurgged it off. "It's either because Jack and I share the same last name or because he wants to buy another crooked cop." There was a sour taste to these words because Brian knew that a lot of his former colleagues saw him as exactly that no matter if he'd been found guilty or not.
"What matters most now is that the cops will find them with their fingers in the cookie jar. There needs to be evidence against them, massive dealing, preferably kidnapping or murder. Whatever Cole can dig up." He turned to Mia. "Can you go back to your uncle and try to place a bug in his vicinity so we can listen in?" "Cole, try to find out if any of the names on the FBIs list will be at the race. Faye gave it to me." He pulled it out of his pocket and showed it to them.
Suddenly his phone rang and the caller id showed Jack's name. His brothers voice was shaky, pressed and let him know that he was in big trouble so Brian told him to get to the Fort. The phone call by his usually so reckless brother made him uneasy though. what had happened to make him call Brian. "That was Jack." he slowly voiced.

She stood there listening to Cole and Brian until he turned to her. "Yes, I can do that. I´ll have to come up with an excuse to pay him a visit and try to avoid any conversation that involves our brothers, but I´ll do it," Her gaze then went to the paper Brian had, a few pages and lots of names.
Brian phone rang, still she had her eyes glued to the paper that is until the ex cop ended his conversation over the phone, she couldn´t help but frown trying to figure out what had happen, maybe it was the way he said it. Something was definately wrong. "What did he say? Brian?" but there was no answer.

"Stephano is the one paying the fee's, as it would be for you as well if you entered along side me, I would just have to talk him into it." Cole explained regarding the race. Of course, he would never otherwise advise Brian to do such a thing, but since this was supposed to be the last night they'd ever hear from the mobster, then its all game.
Cole nodded at Brian's train of thought. "I have evidence for two murders already, it wouldn't be hard to find other stuff." He said confidently. "I'm sure there will be a bunch." He took the list and went through it briefly, he already caught a couple names.
He could almost overhear Jack's voice on the other end of the call, it didn't sound calm, to say the least. When he hung up, Cole really didn't even need to ask to know something bad happened. "I hope we're not too late..."

"Okay, sign me up. At least I'll be close this way. Tell him I need the money for my family...I mean he'll probably know that something is up but at least I'll be where everything is going down." If things weren't so tight now Brian would never sign up for something like this just like he had always warned Cole but now things were different and Brian needed to stick his neck out.
The call by Jack made his heart rate go up at least 50 beats per minute. From the moment he hung up he couldn't stand still anymore but started pacing the floor and balling his fists. If only Jack made it there alive. Brian wlaked to the front door to keep and eye out and asked Mia. "Does Dom still have some guns here? Go get them, please. Amo, too." His eyes were fixed on the road but no car was in sight.

"It´s too risky," she looked at Brian not liking Cole´s idea at all but had to stop herself, it didn´t matter, Brian was so determined to participate in that race. She shook her head and hurried upstairs to Dom´s room.
She entered her brother´s room, wanting nothing more than to sleep too but it was not the time for that. "Dominic," she started to wake him up. "We need your help downstairs," She took out three small to medium size cases from her brother´s closet and open them up, this is what she was looking for. She closed the cases where the guns were and walked back downstairs placing them on the table.

Only for a moment Brian took his eyes off the road and looked back at Mia. "Did you wake Dom up? We might need him." Brian was sure Dom wanted to knwo what was going on.
The cases in her hands looked somewhat comforting. "Get them out and load them, Mia." Brian knew that was familiar with the weapons even if she refused using them. She had always disliked her brother keeping them at home and she never wanted to see Brian's on his dresser when they were still together.

"He´s on his way," she eyed the stairs, what was taking him so long? "Hurry up, Dom!" she knew Dom hated when she used that tone of voice towards him but he had to join them as soon as possible.
She opened the cases and load each gun, being surrounded by Vince, Leon, Jesse, even Brian helped a lot, yes she wasn´t a big fan of guns but it was something she had to learn how to use at some point. She took two of the three guns and gave it to Cole and Brian.

Dom grunted as he heard his name called. What was it now? He hazily opened his eyes and saw Mia taking out the gun cases, which immediately got his attention. "What do you need those for?" He said without really thinking first, then he realized that something serious must be in the making. He quickly threw the covers aside and planted his feet on the ground, throwing his basic outfit on before following after Mia downstairs.
"I'm coming. Jesus." Dom said still a little agitated that he was woken up. "What are loading guns for? What happened?" He said with worry suddenly in his voice.

Cole thought for a few moments from Mia's perspective of Brian running the race. She was right, it was incredibly risky. It would either serve as a good distraction or as a good way to get Brian in too much trouble beforehand. He didn't have time to say words about it now though, they had a situation.
He took one of the rifles from Mia and took a look down the sights to get comfortable. It's been awhile, but he was a decent enough target shooter back in the day. He hoped though that there would be no need, blowing his cover now before race night would be very detrimental to their plan. I'll take Dom in my car, you two go in his charger." He said once they were ready to hit the road.

Still keeping an eye out Brian checked his phone, then the road again. For a brief interrupted he went back the kitchen table, when a tired, grumpy Dom joined them. "My brother just called. He's in trouble and he's coming here. He didn't say what exactly the trouble was but he never calls me, so..." He mimicked Cole's look down the barrell and weighed the nine mm in his right hand. "Let's wait until he's here, Cole, and you stay in the background. We need you on the inside of this. That's our only chance."
He then quickly stepped over to Mia and whispered in her ear. "Go to the basement if things get ugly, okay?"

Brian never said what Jack words were over the phone, she just remember the look of Brian´s face when he mention his brother called him and that he would be on his way to her house. Dom finally joined them he looked tired, a little grumpy but at least he had a few hours of sleep, she didn´t have that chance. She wondered for a moment how was Jack doing... What scenario was going to come through that door, was he injured? She was brought back by a voice that whispered near her ear. She look up to see Brian and hated moments like this when she couldn´t know what the outcome would be and to hear him say those words didn´t help either. She looked down at her hands for a moment and just nodded instead of answering with a "okay".

Dom furrowed his brow at Brian's expression. His explanation didn't sound good, but he questioned the need for all the firepower, was it really serious? Was he missing something, or still maybe not mentally in gear? "Trouble like what, so much that you felt the urge to ransack my weaponry?" He stated still a little under the grumps.
Once he studied the expressions of everyone in the room, he began to understand the intensity of situation, and thought maybe it'd be best to stop asking questions and get ready for something big to go down. He moved over to the table and took the last weapon there, feeling it out.

OOC: My bad, I thought we were all headed to Jack's location.
Cole nodded when Brian said to stay in the background, something he was already thinking. If things got ugly though, he'd be forced to step in, and would gladly do so only if their lives were on the line...but then what would they do? Everything they spent that night planning on would be compromised. It wasn't a good deal either way, that was the one thing he could conclude from this.
He spied his own car sitting in the street beside the Toretto residence. That right there could be a problem. "Damnit man. I don't want them to know about that Lambo." He frowned as he tried to think of someway of concealing it to no avail. Part of the purpose of that car was something that he could fly under the radar with if he needed to...of course a Lamborghini probably wasn't the best choice, but it was an impulse buy as much as anything.
"Did Jack say he had guys on him? We can't take on an army of mafia dudes no matter how good we are." Cole asked with evident worry in his voice.
