Things were just never easy. Why on earth couldn't things just quiet down for a while so they could enjoy life. Instead they didn't only have the mob against them but also Montoyas gang. "If they do their homework they'll know who Dom is and where you'd be going if you come back to LA. I think we need to get out of here." Unfortunately Jack had blown up his residence, Brian was more or less on the streets since he'd been sleeping on Jacks couch and in motels. the apartment that Mira and the kids were at was out of the question because it needed to stay a safe harbor for them. "I just don't know where we could go." The only person currently there and with a place was Taya. "What about your place. How big is it."
Brian barely paid attention to why the girl had disappeared or what Mia had said to her because he was preoccupied with Letty. Yet he noticed the look the women were giving each other and the soft smile on Mia's lips that looked a little out of place right now. "What?" He asked both of them.

Mia looked directly at Taya hopefully she understood to not say a thing about what they just talked. "Nothing..." she replied back to Brian. She not only was talking to the girl but also paying attention to what Brian was saying; he was loud enough for Mia to hear his words, and by the way he question them was a little harsh, he must have saw the way Mia smiled at Taya who was curled up on the couch and thought it was odd to smile when a cartel was trying to find Letty and kill her.
So, for now she went with the flow not wanting to have Letty, Brian or Dom bombard the girl with questions about her pregnancy, heck just by learning Letty was alive was enough for Taya. “Brian´s right, how big is your place?” the last thing she wanted to do was to drag Taya into this mess. So, she thought of Cole “How about Cole´s place?” the kid had money, lots of it. His house should be bigger than Taya´s.

"Cole doesn't want any part of me." She said coldly. "My place's pretty decent, Out of the way to get to and there's room for everyone." She said softly and curled up more to hide her stomach.

Nodding her own acceptance of Brians words, Letty crossed her arms over her chest and frowned. Glancing to Dom's she wondered what he was thinking before the blonds words brought her attention over to Mia and Taya. Feeling off center and not at the top of her game, the Latino felt about as comfortable as an out of place puzzle piece as the scene played out. It wasnt a feeling she liked and it made her restless and a tiny bit bitchy, to be honest.
"Look, theres no need for you all to become involved." she said, studying Taya and finally noticing the rounding of her middle. "It might be best if I headed out again and figured this out on my own. You all have your own lives now and this isn't something you need on your plate..."

Typical for Letty. As soon as things were getting a little too complicated she was getting annoyed and would rather take on the world by herself than deal with anybody else, who wants to help. Unfortunately for the stubborn Latina Brian felt the need to make up for his mistake of letting her get involved in the first place. Pushing himself away from his position on the wall he walked towards her again and held up his hand. "Hang on a minute, Letty. You just walked back in when we all thought you were dead. I'm so glad you're not and I'd like it to stay that way." For a moment he watched her face but her expression didn't soften from the annoyed scowl. "I'll help you...no matter where we stay. I need to, okay?"

Dom stood in place as the others scattered around the house. He could say that he was hoping for a less reactive response from the group. Taya was a mess, Mia looked overwhelmed, and Letty wore an expression of guilt. No doubt that they deserved a break, every single one of them. However, no one probably needed a break more than Letty. She spend years not knowing who she was, working as a puppet for the cartel. Then she went through the surely painstakingly difficult process of finding her way home, yet far from danger. The least they owed her was a matching effort. It was ultimately their fault she was put in the position she was.
Feeling a little annoyed that Taya's pregnancy and apparent relationship drama had suddenly taken center stage (though he knew of it beforehand), he finally turned in place to once again face Letty, and calmly moved the few steps towards her. "We're a complete family now. That's something we've been striving for since the day you were gone. Don't think for a second that we've had a change of heart, you're one of us."

Taya diverted her attention back to what was going on, more worried about her sister right now. "They're right, Let. We're not gonna let you do this alone, we gotta stick together no matter what. You wouldn't leave any of us alone with something and we're not about to leave you alone with this." she said softly, speaking to her fir the first time tonight. She was still in shock after believing she was gone. "Family means no one gets left behind, and there's no way in hell anyone in this family will ever get left behind."

Between Brian and Dom's words, Letty knew she wasn't going anywhere but it didn't mean it was exactly easy. After three years of driving for Montoya, this was a new pay grade for some of them. They had no idea how deep things were or what sort of power the cartel had. Hell, Letty didn't even know but it wasn't just small time.
"Fine... But you need to know that the sort of jobs we pulled in the old days? Thats childs play to these guys. They have contacts all over the world and its not just drugs their running anymore... I think they've graduated to weapons dealing." she told them all. "From what I was able to put together, they've got people in high places that are helping to cover their tracks. Which means its going to make it extra hard to stay under the radar."
At Taya's words, the ebony haired woman sighed and then nodded, knowing they were right.
"We need to find out whats going on with the Feds and what they do or don't know..."

Dom pondered over the thoughts and ideas he had as Letty made her case about the weight of this group. Sounded like Braga's old cartel had expanded into a worldwide underground empire. It made Dom wonder if there wasn't an even higher authority that governed these guys. Braga was in prison, and yet they didn't even miss a beat. It was as if their leadership meant little compared to the bigger picture.
"They're still human, they're breakable." Dom said matter-of-factly and turned his eyes towards the group as a whole. "If they have the right people in the right places, then we need to find a way inside. Us versus them doesn't work if they know more about just one of us then we do of them as a whole."

The whole 'we're family' was great and everybody was extatic that Letty was back but why risk so much now that she was safe? "I don't get your train of thought." He told Dom and Letty. "Letty's back, we're all still in one piece. Why don't the two of you simply lay low somewhere for a while and let things blow over? Let the Feds take care of them. Wouldn't that make more sense than us trying to take on an organization like that?" His pale blue eyes scanned one after the other waiting for their reactions and answers. "Don't get me wrong, I'm not backing out...just trying to be smart...for a change." A slight grin was directed at Mia.

"He´s right. You two need to lay low. ..." she looked at Letty for a moment before turning to Brian and sharing a quick smile. A change, they all needed that, a freaking change. It scared her to hear about this Braga guy, she had nothing against helping Letty, she was going to help unfortunately in this situation where it involved all of them someone had to pay a price.

"The feds did take care of them. Braga is in jail, yet they're still operating full force. I get the idea that this is above them." Dom answered as he stole a glance to Letty, surely she was thinking the same thing. Dom hated the idea of hiding out or laying low. That was running from the problem, not solving it. He would admit though that even he wasn't exactly sure how they would match up against a group like this. These were people that were damn good at what they did, not to mention, they already had the head start. God only knew how desperate they were to get Letty, and if that desperation was at a high level, then they in all likelihood had the resources to find them, regardless if they hid or not.
Decisions, decisions...

Lay low? They were way beyond that. They'd been beyond that the moment Braga had figured out who she was and made the choice to take her damaged self "into the fold". And if half of what Dom had told her was true? Hell, they were probably lucky that his men weren't banging down their door. Laying low wasn't an option and the glance Dom shot her told her he was feeling the same. That allowed a little bit of a smile to quirk up the corner of her lips even as she fought down her impatience.
"I'm not hiding. Like I said.. these guys have resources that you wouldn't believe. The USA isn't the only country I've heard bandied about. From what I can tell, Braga has some sort of partnership going.. Hes got his fingers into international pots such as the middle east and Europe. Best case scenerio would be that you cut off the head of the snake but... I haven't got a clue how to do that."
