So, Piper hadn't expected things to be all rosey when she finally found the pair of fools but she really didn't expect what she got. Spinning the Charger into the lot and sliding to a stop behind the beater of an import, the blond stared at the fight going down with dumbstruck amazement. Having gotten in on only the tail end of things, the former dancers gaze took in Brian jumping Jack from behind and fury exploded in her middle. She wasn't sure what the hell was going on between the pair of them but she'd seriously had about enough of their juvenile behavior. If they wanted to kill themselves on their own turf, fine, but at the moment, she needed Jack and she'd be damned if she was going to put up with this shit.
Throwing the door of her own car open, Piper launched herself out of the drivers seat and barreled around the edge. Slamming the panel shut with enough force to set the glass inside to rocking, the lithe young woman stalked across the cement, cowboy boots tapping angrily against the surface. Before she even reached them, she was snarling her outrage. "What in the HELL do you two idiots think your doing? Do you have some sort of death wish or something?" she shouted, wanting to bash their skulls together to knock some common sense into them. "No.. wait! Don't answer that. I seriously DON'T want to know but I'd really appreciate it if Jack remains alive for the time being because we've kind of got some shit to deal with."
Realizing they might be to far gone to even hear her, she began to look about for something to smack some sense into them with and spotted a discarded piece of lumber laying a few feet away. Moving quickly toward it, she picked it up and tested its weight even as she turned back towards the guys and headed towards them with determination in her step. As Roosevelt said, sometimes it paid to speak softly and carry a big stick. Maybe a smack or two would get their attention and she decided Brian would be her first target as he punched her lover in the stomach.
Just a little love tap to get their attention wouldn't hurt, would it?

After having just broken Brian's nose, Jack hadn't expected his brother to come after him this fast. An arm wrapped around his throat, and he didn't even have time to brace himself for impact before Brian spun him around to take his revenge. Seconds later, Jack was doubled over with a little less air in his lungs than he'd had only moments before from a hard fist in his stomach. Even if it wasn't going to leave much outwardly visible damage, with all those vital organs housed in such a squishy environment, it was still a rather unpleasantly painful experience. Just then, tires squealing to a stop could be heard somewhere behind him, followed by a car door being opened and slammed shut before angry footsteps approached them. "What in the HELL do you two idiots think your doing? Do you have some sort of death wish or something? No.. wait! Don't answer that. I seriously DON'T want to know but I'd really appreciate it if Jack remains alive for the time being because we've kind of got some shit to deal with."If Jack had heard Piper, he hardly showed any signs of it. The younger O'Conner had never been one to turn away from a fight. Not that he'd ever consider walking away from this one in the first place. Even with the brothers being nowhere near each other for the last couple of weeks, this shit between them had been brewing for a long time. All he'd needed now was an excuse, and now that Brian had given him one, this thing was on like Donkey Kong. "I'll stay away when I'm dead.""You being dead can be arranged, brother," he growled, his voice dripping with the disdain he currently felt towards Brian as a look a pure anger took over his face. The younger O'Conner had always had a volatile temper, had always been set off easily when it came down to it, and right now, murder was all he could see in the haze of violence coming over him. Rising back up to his full hight, Jack lunged at his brother with every intention to make his hit count. While the punch to his gut had hurt, it in no major way deterred him from retaliating. In fact, with the extra push from his legs, Jack had put all his weight and momentum into the upper cut that caught just under the older O'Conner's chin, his fist knocking Brian's head upwards while at the same time the impact send him reeling back against the Acura once again. Blood was gushing from Brian's nose and over his mouth now, but Jack wasn't even near finished dealing out pain. Grabbing his brother's shirt into a tight bundle, he hauled his fist back again, ready to lay another one into Brian's face. ((OOC: Rolled a 4 -waits for Piper to start whack-a-moling- ))

his fist in Jack's belly gave Brian a slight bit of satisfaction but nowhere near enough. He should have gone for the face, just like Jack had. Why he had a tendency to hold back when it came to his little brother Brian didn't know, because the guy certainly didn't repay the favor.
Of course Jack would have a comment as come back. When didn't he? He was the king of snappy remarks. What was much worse was the fury in his eyes that shone with pure hatred. What had Brian done to make him feel like this? When had they become enemies instead of allies?
Out of the blue another person showed up on the scene. Judging by the screeching tires Brian though it could be the cops for a second and cast a quick glance over at a blonde woman who approached them with fast steps just to spit some angry words at them. Piper. Oh well, she would just have to wait until they were 'done'. Whatever she said before she changed her course was lost on Brian who was too busy getting thrown back against the door of his car just to receive one heck of a mind boggling, jaw splitting punch. His head whipped back with such violent force that Brian feared it might keep bouncing over the roof of the car by itself.
It hurt like a bitch, too, and left him disoriented and worried that Jack might have just broken his jaw as well. He'd be sipping his dinner through a straw for a while that was for sure.
Because he had seen the look in Jack's eyes Brian was worried that a second punch would follow and his brother would go through with his threat, so he didn't even give himself two seconds to try and wiggle his jaw but pushed himself off the side window of the Acura with one hand and ducked under Jacks fist to smash his own into his brothers face. One look into Jack's hateful baby blues combined with a lack of orientation irritated Brian enough to trip and miss his target by a hair. Whether you miss by a hair or a mile didn't matter as Dominic Toretto once taught him. Winning's winning or in his case loosing in a very humiliating fashion after just taking home the victory of their race.

No stranger to the violent side of life, Piper was none the less horrified by the damage these two were doing to each other. She knew families had problems but, damn, this looked more like a death match than any little sibling dispute. What the hell was going on and why on earth did they have to pick NOW to sort it out? Cops could show up at any time and they were locking horns like two enraged bulls.
Damn it to hell, they didn't have TIME for this shit! How was she supposed to break it up though when they were going at it like a couple Mike Tysons? Her smaller frame was no match for their bigger, bulkier ones and getting in the middle of it was sure to get her hurt. Even with the board in her hand, there was no guarantees but she had to do something before they killed each other.
In for a penny, in for a pound, right?
As Brian creened back into his car and popped back up swinging, Piper eyed the pair and then started forward. Using the board as a buffer, she angled one end of the slim bean into the older brothers middle, trying to shove them both apart enough to get their attention. Then, she shoved the other end in Jack's direction, praying to God she didn't end up on the receiving end of a fist.
"STOP IT, YOU TWO!! STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!" she yelled, pulling the make shift bat back in readiness for another go. "If you don't stop acting like a couple of school yard bullies, I'm going to spank you both in the same manner bullies deserve!"
Pausing for a moment, the blond waited to see if they were going to pay her any mind before continuing.
"What do you two think this is solving? Haven't you ever heard of talking instead of fighting? Jesus Christ, while your throwing punches, the cops or worse, the mafia, could be on their way here! Jack, did you ever think about what could have happened back there? What if you'd been injured so badly you had to be hospitalized? How the fuck was I suppose to protect you then?" she shouted, still brandishing the plank.
{OOC: I rolled a 3 so had to get someone in the middle. I figured she'd use the end to someones middle, trying to shove them apart. If this doesn't work, feel free to let me know!}

Brian lashed out before he'd taken a look at where the younger O'Conner was really standing. His brother's fist whizzed but a hair to the side of Jack's face, the strike of course still coming too close for comfort. Using the momentum of Brian's failed punch though, Jack brought his knee up into his brother's gut. It wouldn't hurt as much as those hits he'd delivered to Brian's face, but it would at least knock the wind out of the thick-skulled son of a bitch. In any case, he refused to go easy on his brother now.
Before Jack could make another move though, there's a piece of wood pushing Brian out of his reach, and no sooner the older O'Conner is pushed back or the other end of the wood is angled at him. But even as Piper yelled at them, It was as though Brian had knocked his reasoning ability right out of him.
"STOP IT, YOU TWO!! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! If you don't stop acting like a couple of school yard bullies, I'm going to spank you both in the same manner bullies deserve!"
"Stay the fuck out of this, Piper. It's got nothing to do with you," he snapped back, rage boiling under his skin. He was so intent on hurting his brother that he was hardly willing to listen to Piper as he stepped closer to Brian again, dead set on spilling more blood.
How the fuck was I suppose to protect you then?"
Something about the tone of Piper's voice threw him off his angry state though, and for a moment Jack just sneered at Brian as Piper used the plank once more to hold him back from his brother. His hand was still curled into a fist, as if he was unable to decide whether or not he wanted to continue beating his brother into a bloody pulp right here in public, but letting Piper's words sink in, Jack knew he had no answer to the curve ball she'd just thrown him. Because he hadn't thought about what else could have happened on the intersection, or all the consequences that inevitably would have come with it.
Frustrated, he clenched his jaw, turning his back to both of them only to punch the side of his already trashed Evo instead in his rage, leaving another dent and his knuckles bleeding a bit more than they already were.
Jesus Christ. When had life become this fucking complicated?

If Brian hadn't been so damn angry at his ungrateful brother the blood gushing from his nose, that had already soaked a good part of his shirt, would have kept him from throwing punches at Jack. But he was fuming inside. There was nothing holding him back from dishing out exactly what his brother was serving him, which was a knee right in the gut, that he was only [partly able to deflect with his stomach muscles. It hurt enough to make him double over and stop until his food had settled down where it belonged again. Brian noticed small red droplets dripping from his nose onto the tarmac beneath his feet, where they exploded into small splashes. Enough to make his anger spike all over. Brian straightened up fast and balled his hands into a tight fist when he suddenly got stopped with a nasty blow to his right kidney with a wooden beam. Instantly his knees got a little weak from the pain radiating from his intestines. He was lucky if he got away with only a bruise. Gasping Brian dropped his fists and clutched his side trying to breath through it rather than sucking it up and going after both of them.
Piper had positioned herself between them and used the piece of wood to keep the brothers apart while she was trying to yell some sense into them, even though her boyfriend told her to stay the 'f' out if it, which was probably a valuable piece of advice. Piper had a point though. Cops could arrive at the scene at any moment. While Brian would probably get away with a slap on the wrist, his brothers face was plastered all over local police stations. Right now Brian almost hoped they'd get the bastard though.
Pipers words made perfect sense now that he was listening to them. Still yanked the board from her hands and lifted it. Not to hit her but to toss it a few feet away.
To his surprise the blonde seemed to have struck a chord in his brother as well because he turned away to take out his anger at his car rather than his brothers face. With slight relieve Brian watched the scenario, then cast a quick glance at Piper before letting out a breath that he didn't know he'd been holding. The girl had saved his ass because he wasn't looking to good in this fight. Just the contrary to their race. She deserved a thank you despite the hit with the board but right now she only earned a glare.
His eyes never left his brother in case he decided to continue his attack while he wiped at the blood under his nose and spread it all over his face. He didn't have any words for him just a headshake while his eyes were shooting daggers at him.

Piper couldn't help but jump as Jack attacked his car. His words echo'ed in her ears but she was smart enough to realize that the lions part of his anger wasn't directed at her but at his brother and himself. That alone kept her standing where she stood, watching and waiting for them both to start thinking with something other than their damned pride. Unfortunately, she hadn't counted on Jack trying to break his hand on his own vehicle and she winced as he swore after impact.
Great, why was it guys always thought busting themselves up was the answer to all their problems?
Distracted, Piper didn't react as Brian suddenly tore her make shift bat from her hands and tossed it a few feet away. Her gaze was still on Jack as she ran her hand through her hair. A quick, distracted look at him said he was still practically frothing at the mouth but as least they weren't trying to slug each other any longer.
"Listen guys..." she said, immediate danger past. "I don't know whats with you two but right now, we can't risk attention being drawn to us. Not till we get this shit with the USB drive sort out and the mob off our asses."
Moving in Jacks direction, she tried to force him to look at her even as her on hands shook. "Jack, I need you to stay alive. I need you to be here to help me figure this all out. I don't know what I'm dealing with and without you... You might as well put a bullet in me now cause it would be a lot easier than what they'll do if they catch up to me this time."
Ok, so maybe that was a low blow but it was true. Piper wasn't one for the criminal side of things and without Jack, she pretty much figured she'd be dead. He was her only safety net at the moment and she wanted to remind him of that.
Glancing over her shoulder at Brian, she frowned before continuing. "Brian, if you want to TALK to Jack, your welcome to do that but I swear to god if you punch him one more time.. I might punch you. Got it?"

When Piper reached up and forced him to look at her, his breath came out on a resigned sigh, surprised at how such a simple bit of contact seemed to make him relax... at least a little. As soon as the touch came, though, so came the words, and Jack frowned a bit as he looked down at her, noticing the concern evident in her delicate features.
"Jack, I need you to stay alive. I need you to be here to help me figure this all out. I don't know what I'm dealing with and without you... You might as well put a bullet in me now cause it would be a lot easier than what they'll do if they catch up to me this time."
He'd been holding her gaze up until then, but he found he couldn't keep it any longer now. What could he say? Piper was right and they both knew it. Here he was, stirring up shit with his brother, drawing attention to himself like some suicidal fool when it wasn't just his life he was putting on the line anymore.
Clearly, he needed her just as much as she need him. Even if it was just to help him keep his head on straight.
Everything Piper had said, everything she'd attempted to get him to slow down and relax, almost came undone though, when Jack's own eyes turned towards Brian. He didn't miss the angry and disappointed head-shake his brother gave him, and he found himself struggling against two warring emotions. The first was anger. Anger that Brian was here, that he wouldn't heed his advice to stay the fuck away from him. He knew that Brian hated who he thought his younger brother had turned into. Without him, Brian's life would never would have taken this turn, never would have been uprooted or destroyed, and his brother hadn't been shy about blaming him for it the last time they saw each other. Truth was, Brian was a big boy, Jack'd never put a gun to his head to make him do anything, but the younger O'Conner still couldn't help but blame himself too.
"You just don't get it, do you, Brian. That shit that happened in Mexico, screwing over Dieseli... I didn't think it through. Obviously, I do that. I don't think shit through. I don't think about how it might affect other people." Somehow his voice was calmer than before, his words coming out measured and sure.
A silence stretched between them for a minute as Jack rubbed a hand over his stubbled chin, almost as if he needed to think on his next words even though he already had them ready and should have spoken them long before.
"I know you blame me for Mira leaving you and taking the kids with her, and you're right. You've put your ass on the line for me more than once in our lives, but that needs to end, bro. I just can't watch you piss your life and family away because of me anymore."

still hunched over Brian watched the discussion between Piper and Jack with weary eyes because he feared another attack. Piper made it clear, however, that she was only interested in them getting over their shit and a move on quickly. One thing she mentioned made Brian listen closely though something about a flash drive and the mob. "What the fuck? Again?" He mutter while his anger was returning in a heartbeat. Why was his brother such a trouble magnet? Had he not almost lost his life during his experience as a 'drug smuggler'? When would he ever start thinking? It hadn't even been a month since the last episode. 'You got to be kidding me.'Brian tought to himself but swallow every nasty comment together with a bunch of blood that had run down the back of his throat leaving an aweful taste in his mouth. Jack's motivation for such a stupid action needed no explanation. It stood right in front of Brian on high heels wearing tight pants and long blonde hair.
Brian's gaze darkened as the same woman told him he could 'talk' to his brother. For a moment Brian's gaze shifted to Jack, who had calmed down somewhat and was rubbing his sore hand, as he straightened up. 'I hope that hurts like a bitch.' He angrily tought. The same emotions he was feeling shone in his brothers eyes even though Brian didn't understand why he hated him so much. Maybe he didn't really hate Brian but himself for what he had done to him.
"You just don't get it, do you, Brian. That shit that happened in Mexico, screwing over Dieseli... I didn't think it through. Obviously, I do that. I don't think shit through. I don't think about how it might affect other people." He heard an unusually calm Jack explain. "Damn right you don't!" Was his dry remark.
"I know you blame me for Mira leaving you and taking the kids with her, and you're right. You've put your ass on the line for me more than once in our lives, but that needs to end, bro. I just can't watch you piss your life and family away because of me anymore." So he was right. Jack had a bad conscience for ruining life even if he wouldn't say it or apologize. Instead he wanted Brian out of his life.
For a long moment Brian could do nothing but glare at Jack. Did he even want to say one word to him after he'd just beaten his face to pulp?
It was in Brian's nature not to walk away and turn his back on his brother though. Unfortunately. So he looked away for a while, sniffed, spat some blood on the ground, before he let his eyes fall on Jack again. "It can't end. You're my brother." He simply explain. Was there any reaction, any emotion on Jack's face? Or did he simply ignore this important little detail. "If I had a choice I'd never choose you but our parents didn't ask me." He had to get that one in because he disapproved of every little thing the younger O'Conner did. "I don't know why you hate me so much that you can never say thank you but want to cut all ties instead. Is this some twisted weird way of....What the fuck is wrong with you?" His frustration started to resurface making him get louder and louder. The fact that Jack had destroyed his relationship with Mira wasn't all bad either. The two of them simply didn't match and never would. Sooner or later they would have parted ways anyway. Of course Brian didn't mention that detail.
Over the noise on the street and their yelling sirens could be heard in the distance, who were most likely approaching the accident site. Brian turned in the direction knowing very well that they had only a few minutes until the cops would talk to the truck driver and then start looking for them.

Watching these two together was giving her a throbbing headache and making Piper glad that she didn't have any siblings. If this was what came of familial relations, it struck her as something maybe she was better off without. Of course, since both her parents were dead, unless some by blow of her fathers showed up, that was pretty well a done deal, huh? Not like she had much choice in the matter but to see these two brothers go at it was an eye opener. The way Jack had talked about Brian before had held a trace of respect but that all was gone as he squared off with the older man.
Shit. IF they went after each other again, she was going to be hard pressed to interfere again.
Luckily though, it seemed as if Jack were coming to his senses and instead of blows, he was talking. Granted, not polite talk but it was a step in the right direction at least. As words were fired off between the pair, the blond took a step closer to Jack, letting her gaze travel over him for injuries that weren't so apparent but, thankfully, it seemed as if he were going to live.
Then, the sound of sirens wailing nearer caught her attention and she ran a hand through her blond hair. Brian seemed to realize the danger too and it was only a matter of time before they were found.
"Ok, boys. Its time to get the hell out of here. Jack? Can the Evo make it somewhere safe or do we need to come back for it later? I don't know about you but its not going to do any of us any good to be caught standing around with our pants down. We need to move and we need to move, NOW. You guys can sort your problems out at another time."

"I don't know why you hate me so much that you can never say thank you but want to cut all ties instead. Is this some twisted weird way of....What the fuck is wrong with you?"
The muscles in Jack's jaws visibly continued to tense the more Brian spoke, a sure sign he wasn't appreciating what was coming out of his brother's mouth, though he should have expected it really. His brother didn’t know what he'd done or seen, how deep he'd truly been in it with Dieseli's cartel before the shit had hit the fan. Brian only saw his younger brother wanting to cut all ties as him being a heartless, selfish bastard; he was too busy being self-righteous, playing big brother to see the bigger picture.
"You know what, I can't do this anymore. You think I hate you? I don't. But you have no idea what it's like to watch your brother lose everything because of you." Whether it was because Brian had hit a nerve or he was just picking up the hostility from him, Jack’s own frustration wasn't getting any less. He wanted his brother to understand why he had done what he had, but was the knucklehead even listening to him?
"I'm done with that, bro. Because whether you believe it or not, I do give a shit about you."
Jesus Christ, this wasn't going to somehow turn into one of those touchy/feely moments, was it?
Thankfully though, anything else was soon cut short by the sound of wailing sirens swelling in the distance. No doubt they were headed towards the intersection, and there was even less doubt that they'd be fanning out soon to look for a partly crushed black import once the po-po had it's little chat with the truck driver.
"Ok, boys. Its time to get the hell out of here. Jack? Can the Evo make it somewhere safe or do we need to come back for it later? I don't know about you but its not going to do any of us any good to be caught standing around with our pants down. We need to move and we need to move, NOW. You guys can sort your problems out at another time."
"You two should get out of here. I'll take care of the Evo." Knowing that was not the answer Piper wanted to hear right now, Jack turned towards the mutilated import before she had time to respond, already recovering his cell phone from his pocket to place a call to an old colleague of his. The guy still owed him a huge favor after all, and now was as good a time as any to collect it.

Right now no sirens nor his bloody nose were as interesting for Brian as a reply from Jack. For weeks he's been cursing his little brother for his actions but much more than that for his words. The way he told Brian to get the f''out of his life had left a deep scar, that he wasn't able to heal himself. He needed some sort of understanding why Jack wanted to get rid of him. But much more he wanted to know that Jack wasn't just a heartless asshole deep down in his core. Brian needed for his brother to love him just as much as he did even though things had taken a really bad turn between them.
The look he was giving him was so full of accusations, but just as full of pleas.
Piper was right though. They needed to get out of there fast and settle things later...if there would be a later. Jack however chose to actually spill his gutts this time rather than letting his fists speak some more. On rare occassions in the past would he do such a thing, so when he actually opened his mouth to speak, Brian froze. he wasn't going anywhere. He barely dared to blink.
"You know what, I can't do this anymore. You think I hate you? I don't. But you have no idea what it's like to watch your brother lose everything because of you." Jack spat at him and scowled. Confusion took over. These were the words Brian was longing to hear, yet he couldn't really accept them, not when they came from Jacks lips, or with that angry frown on his face. It took him a few seconds to realize that this was actually his brothers way of saying 'I'm sorry'...even if he'd never let those words slip from his mouth. Dumbstruck Brian stared back at Jack, most likely with just as much of an angry glare. Didn't the guy understand that loosing 'everything' plus his brother was even worse?
And there was more to come. 'I do give a shit about you."He heard him add in disbelieve. For a moment Brian was lost for words, something that rarely happened because he was usually the more talkative out of the two. It might have something to do with the pounding headache, his throbbing nose or sirens coming closer that made thinking or coming up with an appropriate yet spiteful answer hard.
The noise of the city couldn't drown out the cops any longer. They were coming their way so Jack suggestion for Piper and Brian to get out of there wasn't that dumb, even if once again he wanted to do his own thing and save the wrecked EVO.
Instead of objecting and trying to help Jack Brian simply nodded but before he turned away he pointed his finger at the younger O'Conner. "You owe me an apology. One day!"
Then he turned to walk away but while he was crossing the lot slightly hunched over to get to his car he started to have his doubts that he was even capable of driving away from the police after get his a"" whooped by his brother. "Damn you, Jack." He muttered under his breath while walking an almost straight line and climbing into his car.
The red and blue lights were already visible down the road when he started the engine. Hopefully Piper would pack up Jack and get him out of there before he'd be assigned a new, state funded residence with a small toilet next to his bed and no ocean view.

Great. Just great. Did Jack really think she was going to leave him like that? Right. Whatever.
Tossing a glare at Brians retreating back, the blond was tempted to pick up the timber again and wack them both over their stubborn heads once more. Only, she suspected that wouldn't do her any good cause they were obviously to far gone on their emotions to care. At least they'd quiet swinging long enough to listen to her.
Somewhat anyways.
Sighing, Piper mentally counted to ten before she headed for Jack and the twisted EVO. "Jack.. baby..." she started before seeing that he was making a call and running a hand through her hair in frustration."Babe, come one... we gotta go. Maybe we can lead them away from here.. Pick up the Evo a bit later. We gotta go though and I'm not leaving you. You get caught, I get caught. Is that what you want?"
Ok, yeah, so she was tossing cheep shots but a girl had to use whatever advantage she could get and she could be just as stubborn as he was. She had a feeling he was used to facing things alone and that wasn't something she was goin to let him do this time.

"Hey! I don't give a shit if you could lose your goddamn job over this, Lloyd. You still owe me big time, remember?"
Hearing the voice on the other end reluctantly give in, Jack ended the less-than-friendly phone call with one final growl, all the while resisting the urge to throw the offending machine across the empty parking lot of the currently closed mart. Hooray for being him right now. Jesus Christ, with the mob wanting him and his girl dead, the Evo being practically totaled and not going anywhere but the police impound/junkyard unless Lloyd came through (the son of a bitch better, or else there was gonna be HELL to pay), and the po-po already shooting down the block, he was sure shit couldn't venture any further into ‘suckage’ territory.

...Okay, scratch that...
If there was one thing that could be said about Piper, it was that she could be as stubborn as she was beautiful, and laying such a guilt trip on him, it was clear she knew exactly which of his buttons to push to get him to move.
"You know it ain't, beautiful. So let's go," he answered, already heading towards the passengers side of her Charger and getting in, waiting for her to get behind the wheel. While Piper got in, Jack glanced behind them towards the approaching red and blues of LA's not-so-finest in the distance.
"Heh, I just realized I have yet to see you race. Guess now is as good a time as any, huh?" he said, a small smirk creeping across his features despite the current situation. He couldn't help himself; no matter what, he was still an adrenaline junkie above all else.

Even before Jack and Piper headed for her Charger Brian was peeling out of the empty parking lot before anybody could note down his plates of get a hand on him. The last thing he needed right now on top of the beating he had just received from his little brother was to spend the night in a cell. That just didn't seem appealing at all.
Brian slowed down once he reached the next best busy road to melt right into the busy evening traffic. Nobody would be able to single him out there if he was speeding. All the while he was sniffing up blood that was still making its way over his upper lip into his mouth but finally resorted to spitting it into an empty paper cup.
The first priority was to get away from the cops and force his anger and pride back down where it had been brooding for so long. Jack was Jack, full stop. No use huffing and puffing about it once the guy was out of his sight. Why he still cared about that son of a ...Brian didn't know. One thing kept ringing in his mind while he was sitting at a traffic light and checking his red and slowly swelling face in the mirror. Something about the mob and a flash drive. Brian couldn't help but curse the chick for getting his oh-so-problem-friendly brother into yet another mess. For now Brian decided to lick his wounds, maybe even consider Jacks words about giving a damn about him and nothing else. He was hurting too much for everything else anyways. Through slightly blurred vision he saw the lights turn green and drove on down the road. Destination : Mia's home...but what if the woman was there.
OOC: I'm out of this thread...thanks for the ass whooping and the race victory;-)
