The Dom
thanks brooklyn from caution, shine and atf!
35. Racers. "I live my life a quarter of a mile at a time." Character full name: Dominic Anthony Toretto Age: 35 Gender: Male Sexuality: Straight APPEARANCE: Dom is built like a brick shit house, plain and period. He wears mostly tshirts and cutoffs with jeans or cargo pants and mostly with some form of boot. He looks fearsome when first meeting him, which is why those who don't know him, usually don't approach him. Those that do are usually ones with a death wish and looking to "take down the biggest guy in class." By looking at him, you can see that doesn't happen very often. He always keeps his head shaved and usually is always clean shaven. Sometimes it gets scruffy, but too long and Letty starts to complain some. His appearance very seldom reflects his attitude, so watch how he dresses and it might just be you're lucky day. PERSONALITY: Dom is a guy who you don't fuck with, plain and simple. He looks mean, he can be mean and if you piss him off, his temper won't stop him. He almost went to jail for almost beating a man to death with a wrench, almost killed Hobbs the same way, and went off on Trent (RIP) just for telling him that Dom narked him out. Dom has a temper and sometimes it can be uncontrollable. After all, its the main reason he's in Monaco now. Dom used to be a nice guy, treated his family with respect, always wanted to spend time around them. Hell they made it a ritual to have family cook outs every weekend. But all that changed when Brian was killed. When several of their friends were killed, it hurt, but when Brian was killed, it killed the Dom that everyone once knew. Now he's quiet, stays alone, is very seldom seen unless a job needs to be done. His conversations are very short and to the point, so that he can leave and be alone again. For the last six months, he blames himself for Brian's death, mainly because he couldn't prevent it from happening. Dom was raised to protect family, to teach family and to respect family. If he had done his job right, Brian would still be around, hell, Letty would still be around. Sure he got his revenge, but revenge doesn't cure a man, it only makes him worse. Anger dwells in the heart while hate sits in the soul. For six months now while in Monaco, Dom has kept business as business and personal as personal. Lately, Business has interfered with personal and its interfered with any kind of love interest he might have gotten himself into. The reason for this is simply because it helps takes his mind off Brian's death. He takes whatever jobs come to him, he lives life more on the edge like he has a death wish, and if you can't find him sulking about somewhere alone, then he's in the garage usually tinkering with his other love life, his cars or someone else's. It takes less time than before to trigger his temper and he just doesn't seem to care as much as he has before. Although, it wouldn't take much more than patience and the help of others to change him, he seems to not want the help. When Dom races, he does whatever it takes to win even if that means killing him in the process. Even with the bad though, he still cares for his "family" and would do anything for them. Which is why he's lining up a contract with one of the most wealthiest car enthusiasts in Monaco. Its real good money and its easy money. If he's to die randomly, he wants to make sure that his "family" is set before hand and safe at the same time. Family is family, no matter what the relation is. Family is what you make it and everyone here in Monaco, has helped him try to see that. It's just a shame that Dom is letting other things distract him from that. HISTORY: We have all seen the first four movies, so I won't go into a long detailed list from the beginning and put you all to sleep. I'll just sum it up. Dominic was born to be a racer. It was in his blood from the day he was conceived. It has also seemed to become a family thing as his sister Mia has also taken to the adventure. Their father was a racer, taught them both how to work on cars and how to operate them. Every weekend they would watch their father race until the day he went around a bend and was killed instantly. Their mother passed not too long after and Dom was just old enough to become his sister's caretaker. They continued to live in L.A. but jobs were hard to come by, so Dom started racing, making a name for himself. Mia didn't like it, it was too dangerous, but it paid the overdue bills and the mortgage on the house they were stuck with and the Garage they would soon own. It wasn't like they had any other choice or they'd soon be homeless as well. Dom couldn't let that happen, so racing it was. Soon, his name carried on and he formed his own crew which became his and Mia's new "family". The money came in but it was barely enough, so Dom soon turned criminal hijacking trucks with top end electronics for spare cash. Of course the crew helped but this brought on unwanted attention that soon involved the FBI sending in on of their own, named Brian O'conner. Dom didn't trust him at first, but after some time, that trust built until the day it was broken and Dom found out he was a cop. After a deadly race, Brian let him run and Dom took the chance to go to Mexico. In Mexico, Dom started over and the crew followed him, all except Mia. She stayed at the house while Dom sent money for the bills. She couldn't tag along cause the FBI was watching her every move. They would have followed her straight to him. So while Mia lived alone, the crew kept a low profile, at least what was left of the crew. Vince moved to Rio and Lance went his own way and hasn't been heard from since. So far it was just him and Letty, but that wouldn't last forever. Soon, Han and a couple others would join the "family" and after the heat was low enough, they started boosting gas and oil tankers in Mexico. It was like Mexican gold. They would sell and split the profits. This little adventure soon took a turn though and Dom didn't want this life for Letty anymore. So he left her with some extra cash and left. The only thing that brought him back was hearing that Letty was killed later. Using his experience in tracking skills, he hunted the men down that killed her where he eventually wound up back in L.A. and eventually back in Brian's world. When the two finally met up once again, Brian told him about who Letty was working for, but not all of who she was working for. It was Braga, a drug lord from Mexico, that was using racers to transport drugs in and out of Mexico for distribution in the states. When Toretto caught up with Letty's killer, he killed him and helped Brian arrest Braga. Letty's death almost killed Dom, but he had other things to worry about that kept him a little preoccupied. After helping with Braga's arrest, Dom was still arrested as a fugitive and for misc. crimes he had committed. He was sentenced to L.A.'s finest prison and showed leniency for assisting the FBI in Braga's capture. His prison sentence wouldn't last long though as he was released on "parole" for "good Behavior" but he later found out it was from an old family friend of his father's that went by the name of Stephano Dieselli. Dom doesn't remember much of Dieselli from when he was younger but already in the short amount of time he's known him, he's already gotten bad vibes from him. Dieselli paid a high bounty for the release of Dom and wanted his money back in terms of work, using the Torretto crew to do his dirty work. Dieselli was taking full advantage of the crew when they decided enough was enough. The only way out though wound up in death or so they thought when Dieselli's car went up in flames. Thinking they killed him, they moved forward but came to find out that Dieselli was out for revenge. In his revenge, he took out one of the crew's most beloved assets, Brian O'conner. Losing Letty hurt bad enough that Dom wanted to stuff the barrel of a .38 to his temple, but losing Brian.....that was just as bad. With every ounce of anger in him and the crew, they wanted revenge, but Dieselli was much more powerful than they anticipated and now with the law after them once again, they had no choice but to high tail it out of L.A. Six months have passed and the crew made it to Monaco where they live practically in a paradise where the law can't expedite them. The last six months Dom has been trying to cope with Brian's death but it's taking a heavy toll on him. He's lost Jessie, he lost Letty, They can't find Lance, His Friend since grammar school has moved to Rio and wants nothing to do with him and now Brian's death? He can't bare to see Mia the way she's been and the crew is taking Brian's death at their own toll and pace. Dom's been trying to play the big brother the best he can with taking on small jobs, bigger jobs, providing for his family and giving them the life they deserve, but although the money is well worth it, when is it time to call it quits? When everyone is dead? When they've made enough money to retire? Or when the adrenaline just finally wears out? Too many have died and although their last payoff has gotten them to Monaco, it's time to plan out one last thing. Something that will be their biggest payoff ever and let the life they once knew, finally die before they do. Starting off with some small time boosting has eventually led them to larger prizes and now, Dom's ready to move up to the big time and accept that large pay off. He's just gotta find it. EXTRA INFORMATION: Dom's car in Monaco since he had to ditch the charger in L.A. Really? What's it got in it? Really? Don't even ask, cause you name it, it has it. It's Dom's car, c'mon now. Shawn.
