After dropping an entirely new manifold, hating it, and then replacing it with a new one that was actually bigger and stronger than the one she originally ordered, Regan had been busy upgrading her car. Wasn't like she really needed to do a ton of upgrading, really it was all replacement parts for outdated parts she had shoved into the car or hadn't bothered updating before. It was a lot of work, to be honest, but she loved it enough to have her own shop. The latest order from the market had been huge, big enough she had to have it shipped over in a few shipments instead of one. Although, large orders weren't out of the norm for her, with a new exhaust system for her car that had a much better performance record than the one she had made it a larger order than normal. Not to mention the usually parts she had to get for the garage.
With the garage getting busier by the day, Regan was pulling more hours at the shop and less on herself. Hell, Regan usually had her nails done and hair cut nicely. Then she moved to Monaco where finding a decent nail tech was impossible. Although, it was easier for her to do her own nails when she had the time. Oh lordy, time. That would be delightful, having the time she had back in the States to waste on getting her nails down and her hair styled. After work she was usually going home, checking emails, ordering whatever clothes or parts she needed, and going right to bed to sleep. Until it was back up and back to the garage for more work ontop of the work she didn't get done the day before. At least today she had gotten what work she could out of the way with whatever she had at the shop, but as soon as she hit the point where she had to order parts for fixing some of the cars, off to the markets she went.
Sighing as she sat on the ledge of her trunk, which was now open with some music playing from it as she waited for them to get all of her parts stacked, wrapped, and ready to go, Regan quietly filed her nails. Legs crossed over so she could use her knees for support, eyes covered by her sunglasses, Re made the illusion that she wasn't aware of her surroundings but oh, she very much was. Someone passed by a little too close for comfort and Re stopped momentarily before going back to filing her nails. If they didn't hurry up with her damned parts she was going to have a fit.

To say the last week had been interesting would be understating it. Talking to Jack for Piper, racing that Regan chick, even the race at the track with Jack and the others was a little bit out there for him as of recently. Even finishing the RX-7 was an accomplishment and getting out on the track was exhilarating again, but what topped the cake was the day he met Andy. Now that was excitement that he hadn't had in a very long time. It reminded him of his full potential of driving and seeing those cops smash like tin cans was just great. It reminded him of old times, sure they were old times with the crew and Brian, but they were good times. Seemed like he was busting out of this shell rather quickly as of late and from judging the faces of his crew, it was about damn time. Things were starting to look up for him already, but that didn't mean the pain and memories weren't still there. They were just being coped with better. Maybe even healthier, but really what did he care as long as things seemed to be getting better. Dom was just taking the RX-7 for a typical cruise since the Camaro was still on the radar fro the little diner incident. The last thing he wanted was to get pulled over so he was letting the heat on the Camaro drop to safer levels before taking that out again. Right now, he was on his way to the parts store to get order some parts and pick up some that had come in earlier this morning. He had gotten the phone call as soon as they opened the doors this morning which is the way he wanted it in the first place. The parts were both for his car a customers, which he had a good reputation with so far that he didn't want to fuck up. His client had gotten him many jobs over the last few months and so in order to repay the guy and to establish more jobs in the future, he was doing this one as a favor out of his own pocket. This favor though almost made him want to do one for himself, or at least get one. He was repainting and getting parts shipped in from the states for a 33 Ford Roadster The paint was done but he still needed to supe up the engine and trans a bit. It was no nine second car, but it looked like it and that's what he was going for. 33 Ford Roadsters weren't meant for speed, but they were meant for looking good while driving. The guy wanted his classic turned modern and Dom wasn't for it, but wasn't against it either. He liked keeping his american muscle as they were, but then again, the roadster wasn't considered a muscle car either. It was a cruiser. Either way, Dom gave his client what he wanted and all that remained was the few touch ups he had left under the hood. Pulling up to the auto store, he parked the RX-7 and stepped out, noticing the chick sitting in her trunk with the tunes going. He recognized her from the girl he raced a week back, but he wasn't about to go stirring the hornets nest either. She already challenged him once and got beat, he wasn't about to do it again, not today. So instead of saying hello, she seemed occupied with her nails and he figured he slide on by without a word. Maybe she wouldn't see him....Thus, he walked past and kept on walking till he hit the front doors and stepped inside. "Jack, I nned my parts you caled me this morning and I have a list for you too.""Not a problem Dom, let me just walk in back and get those for you." he said turning around to give another customer their change back. "Hey Dom, I got some new stuff in that you might be interested in for that RX-7 of yours. New stuff, right off the truck today. It's definitely faster than what you have now. Might give an edge against that Andreas crew." he said starting to turn and go get Doms parts. "Jack, this is me we're talking about. Toretto's racing is in the blood." he commented. "Yeah but you said you haven't raced in a while. Just trying to help, is all.""It's like riding a bike, Jack. You never forget how." he commented and then Jack laughed as he disappeared in the back. That's when a female voice came up behind him asking, "Have you been helped?" Not sure what she meant by that, he was almost hesitant to turn around and see who it was.

Regan happened to lift her eyes to look around to the people milling about, catching a few looks from passers by since her car wasn't a common one around her much anymore. Stopping her work on her nails to check them, she glanced over and saw the rather nice RX-7 parked a few spots over that made her lift a brow. It was rather nice, looked like it had a lot of work put into it over a good amount of time by someone who knew just what they were doing. At least people around here were beginning to understand that taking care of their cars was a priority, not a luxury. Especially cars that were used to race and not necessarily used for day-to-day driving. Regan's car just happened to do both, although she kept the day to day driving to short distances.
Sighing as she looked up, taking a few of the boxes that were brought out to her for her car, stashing them in the front seat before she caught sight of a familiar face in the shop. Eyes narrowed as she watched Dom walk up to the counter, shaking her head and just going back to minding her own business. Leaning down she pulled out a magazine that had been given to her inside filled with parts and pieces to put into the cars. Of course she wasn't going to go order a shit ton of stuff right now, she was already waiting on a metric ton of parts shipped in from Japan, but there was no reason she couldn't hope to upgrade a few things in the future. Leaning back against her car as she flipped through the pages, she made a few notations and kept checking for more things.

Having finally met the contact Amos had sent her here to find, a man by the name of Sanchez, Andy had already boosted a rather average looking Audi tt with every intention to utilize Sanchez's garage. The job wasn't all that difficult. Some ditsy blond even left the door open for Andy to ease herself right in, an extra key on a magnet sticking to the inside of the wheel well. She honestly couldn't have planned it any better. This was likely one of the easiest boosts she'd ever done. Getting it back to Sanchez's place was a snap too, as the bitch was headed into the gym, and would likely be there for at the very least, an hour. With that, she'd soup it up, make it winner material, race it and reap herself enough money to ditch the stolen car and buy herself something legit. Something that she actually wanted. Fuck these foreign cars. American muscle was where it was at.
Speaking of American Muscle...
Andy walked into the parts shop looking for a few items specifically and happened to spy her broody hero-type standing near the counter. Honestly, it was damn near impossible that it could be anyone else. That body... those biceps....
..... again, nevermind.
Andy thought about making her presence known, seeing if he'd even recognize her.
But then again, Andy was..... well..... Andy. He'd dropped her off at Sanchez's place with barely so much as a goodbye and obviously had no intentions on seeing her again... So she simply blew it off saying 'fuck 'em and went about her business. She stood kitty corner from him, back turned while fiddling with a few keychains hanging on a spinning rack on the counter. After several minutes passed, Andy began looking around to see if there was anyone even providing service in this place. Although they might be in the back getting parts for someone else.... Dom, for example. This extended the range of her patience before a woman walked up seemingly out of nowhere.
"Have you been helped?"
Seconds after Andy turned around to tell the woman what it was she was here to either purchase or order, Dom also turned around and the two locked eyes for a moment. "Fancy meeting you here." she said with a curl to the corner of her lips. Her hand then raised toward Dom in a manner of letting the woman know it wasn't Andy she should be asking. Her eyes then once again drifted toward Dom. "After you".

Dom was hesitant to turn around, but that didn't mean he didn't. After all, if it was an associate, that would be rude of him. So he did. He turned around to see the same red haired chick that he met days ago during the Diner incident. Standing next to her was an associate and it seemed like she wasn't talking to him at all. She happened to be talking to Andy rather than him, and that was quite alright. He'd already been helped and was just waiting for his parts to be brought out.
"Nah, it's fine. I've already been helped. Just waiting." he spoke. "They should be out any minute.....so I insist."he said nodding her to go ahead. that was about the time that Jack came out with a big box of his stuff on a two wheel dolly.
"Hey Dom, you need help with this stuff or you got it?"
"Nah, I got it. Is that it?"
"Sure is. You wanna order those parts now?"
"Nah, let me take this out to my car first. I'll be back in." He turned around and gave a slight nod to Andy. "I'm gonna put this stuff out in my car and I'll be back."
Dom walked outside just in time to see Regan had switched positions and was now reading some magazine. He had a feeling with the squeaky wheels on the dolly, he wasn't about to escape this one and was almost half tempted to turn around and go back in. it's not that he didn't like Regan, but she was very forward about things.. She knew what she wanted and took it. Kinda like when she lured Dom into that race. Although, that wasn't all her doing as Shawn took a part in that, but still, she took advantage of that rather than leaving things be. He wasn't going to let that happen again. Again, he walked right past her and didn't say a word, making it look like he didn't notice her. When he got to the RX-7, he opened the trunk and gently place one box on top of the sound system. The other went in the front seat and another went into the back seat. Grabbing the dolly, he went past her again but something told him, she'd stop him this time around. If she didn't, he'd keep walking. Seriously, what was there to say, 'Sorry I took your money? Want it back?' Was he supposed to ask her where she learned to race? Really, he didn't care. It didn't matter where you learned to race as long as you learned how to win. So what was there to really approach her about?

The Audi that pulled up made Regan look, an eyebrow raising a bit as she glanced the car over. Now that was not a car brand you saw around here very often. Audi's were nice cars, needed some work in their engines since they lost horsepower in gimics and such, in Regan's opinion, but shit, they were some of the hottest racing cars on the market now. And this TT was rather good looking and sounded even better. Nodding her approval, not that it needed it, but she hoped to see that car and that chick in a race sometime soon. Just the sound of the engine promised a good race, but if she could drive it would be the better test. One could have a sexy looking car but if you couldn't drive it, well you just had a pretty car. Rubbing her chin a bit before turning back to the magazine in her hands, movement nearby caught her eyes and she glanced up without moving her head. Well, Dom was not only a guy of few words, apparently he was an ignorant asshole without manners since he had clearly seen her standing there and hadn't said hello.
Lifting her chin as he passed, she looked over at his back with a raised eyebrow. "Hi, Dom," she crossed her arms over her chest, watching him for any sort of tweak in a muscle, slight twitch or movement that would clue her into him not wanting to talk to her. Although, she was sure he didn't since he had was being discourteous about the fact someone he knew was right there. "Nice to see you." she nodded, wondering what stupid 'Oh I didn't see you' bullshit she'd get fed to her. This certainly wasn't the Dom Toretto she had been spoken to about. No matter the shit that went down, the deaths and loses he was feeling, the Toretto she had been informed on was at least courteous. And not ignoring people.

He stopped with the dolly in hand and turned around to see the young brunette sitting near her car. Yeah, he was really hoping she didn't stop him, but he knew that ignoring her a second time around with the assumption that he just didn't see her or that he didn't realize she was there would be enough. But seeing as she already had that look on her that knew otherwise, he wasn't going to bullshit her. "Nice to see you too." he tried to smile. Although, if she really wanted to talk to him or it was really nice to see him, she would have come inside, wouldn't she have? "Sorry, been too busy and honestly, stopping to say hello was the last thing on my mind. Although, nothing was stopping you from saying hi to me, was it?" this time a genuine smile crept across his face.
He had nothing against the chick but he didn't like the way she called him out like she did in front of all those people to try and get him to race. He clearly told her he didn't, but yet she still pushed. Shawn wasn't any better though either and him and Dom had a nice little chat about that on the way home. At least Shawn understood where he was coming from. Although, it wasn't all for the bad though either. If Her and Shawn wouldn't have pushed him the way they had, he wouldn't be out getting parts for the nice Mazda RX7 that was parked next to Regan's 350Z. He wouldn't be out practicing with the crew or being as social as he had been in the last couple weeks. He'd still be lurking about drenched in his own sorrows. So in all reality, he owed Regan a thank you for helping him off that road he was headed down.
"You won't hear this often coming from me, so don't get used to it, but thanks." he said letting the dolly free stand on its own and reaching out a hand to her for a handshake. "I owe you one. If you hadn't been part of pushing me to do that race, I would have never done it. You helped me open my eyes again to what I was missing out on." he said retracting his hand. "If you tell anyone I said this, I'll have to kill ya." he said playfully but still having that serious tone in his voice as to not go blabbing about town what the infamous Dominic Toretto said to her. He still had a reputation to keep up. He didn't need anyone on the street thinking he was going soft. "You should come in, I have someone you might wanna meet." he said leaning in a little and whispering. "Maybe you could even get her off my back a little." he said that one joking all the way. Hell, he hardly knew this chick as much as he knew Regan, so he really couldn't judge even though he wanted to. He pulled back and started to walk towards the front doors, "You coming, or you gonna be anti social?"

Andy then looked to the woman. "It's an Audi tt. You're prolly gonna have to order some of these. I'm gonna need a K04 Turbo Upgrade, a Quattro Magnaflow Performance Exhaust System-...." she went into several other parts she was going to need before the woman nodded and walked around the counter. That's when she spotted a man walking with a dolly toward Dom with a huge box on it. Andy watched them in conversation, Dom of course not needing any help. He seemed that type, like he didn't take assistance from anybody for anything. It made her wonder if he'd always been that way.
She nodded, watching him walk out the door.... It wouldn't surprise her if there was a bit of drool caught at the corner of her lips. That's when the woman came back to the counter with her total. "We should be able to get this stuff in by tomorrow." Andy smiled, not allowing her to see the relief her chest was feeling at the moment knowing she only had a few days to get this done. That was the deadline Sanchez had given her. He'd said he had a few cars coming in that he'd need the room for in the garage, and she would need to have this car done and outside by then.
Flipping through the keychains a few seconds later, Andy heard voices coming from outside. One being Dom's, and then a female's voice. Being nosy, as she was, Andy scooted herself inconspicuously down the counter and toward the glass of the door so she could clearly see outside. Peering around a row of spinning pillars filled with sunglasses and keychains, Andy was able to spot Dom and part of the woman he was speaking with. She leaned farther to try and see more of her without being able to be seen herself and didn't realize that these racks weren't bolted to the ground. The rack tilted, taking Andy off guard which caused her to tumble down. Luckily she'd let go in time before the entire rack had come down, but half it's contents had hit the floor along with her.
Turning her head, her crimson cheeks burned as the woman behind he counter glared at her. "Sorry...." She started, then looked to the merchandise laying scattered all across the ground.... then to Dom who was quickly getting closer to the door. Andy flew to her feet, crouching down trying to pick up everything that'd spilled across the floor.
....there was no way she was getting all this up before Dom walked in the door.
She flashed him an embarrassed smile as he entered the store. "Hey... there, Dom! So uh... How's... things?" she said with a handful of sunglasses, looking down at them, then back up to him with a grin and a nervous laugh. "Would you believe I was ransacked by sunglasses?"
