Advertising may be making an effort to leave behind the feminine stereotypes of what was once the greatest supporter, but the clichés that she herself insisted on burning into the collective imagination are still alive and well and ready to vilely lacerate the self-esteem of women. For this reason, and with the ultimate goal of challenging such clichés, the German brand of feminine hygiene products The Female Company (known for its acclaimed “The Tampon Book” campaign , awarded a Grand Prix at Cannes Lions ), has decided destroy such corrosive stereotypes with the complicity of art. Fed up with female bodies being mercilessly sexualized in advertising and on social networks, the company has decided to launch, in collaboration with the Phone Number List training platform The Floox, an online art workshop named #Nakeducation. In such a unique carving, seven women pose naked to be immortalized on blank canvases by all those who take part in #Nakeducation. The models that participate in The Female Company workshop look in the mirror of reality and represent women of all shapes and sizes (without forgetting the transgender group). The Female Company's new project is accompanied by the launch of a limited edition designer box with the company's organic tampons inside. #Nakeducation is a 50-minute online course in which artist Eva-Maria Janson explains step by step how to paint a woman's naked body. Through The Female Company website, those interested can purchase the course along with all the necessary tools (paints, brushes and watercolor paper) to take part in the workshop. « Since we connected with a much younger target through TikTok we are increasingly aware of how fatal some female stereotypes can be . Many young girls truly believe that there is something wrong with their bodies.
