Faye turned at the sound of the knock before Jack appeared in the door way, she gave him a small smile running a hand over and through her hair. At his question she nodded her head. Deciding agasint telling him a bare face lie she simply shrugged her shoulders and let out a tired sigh.
"I will be"she gave him a tight smile. "How are you both feeling, cus you both loook like hell"

brian turned to see Jack walk in. No sign of Leon. He backed off slightly to give his brother some room with his girlfriend. When she asked how they were feeling Brian handed Jack the icepack he'd put away before. "Satisfied." He smirked. At the sight of Jack's beat up features he chuckled. His cheek was bright red and a trace of blood on his lip. "I'd say there's not much to damage in your face."

Jack nodded at her answer and put an arm around her, pulling her closer while he dropped a kiss on her head. "Don't worry about it. Just take your time."
He raised an eyebrow at the ice Brian was offering him and pushed it back in to his brother's hands with a snort. "Yeah, likewise, bro. If I hadn't soften him up for you, your sorry ass would probably have to have been carried off the lawn on a stretcher." He immediatly wished he had bitten his tongue at least half way through the sentence considering they did have to carry Brian away last time he saw Leon.
He shook his head, annoyed at himself and mumbled in a low voice. "Sorry, man. Didn't mean it like that."

Brian's gaze darkened. "Sometimes you should just shut up."
Jack apologized immediately though and Brian nodded. "Maybe you would have been more halpful that Leon in the joint." He sighed. "I'm sorry, Faye, that you had to watch our fight. I just needed to do that. Sorry."

"Dont worry, i had my back to the whole thing"she turned her gaze over to Brian.
"And i remember me telling you that you could beat the crap out of him"She said softly, giving him a small smile.
"He had it comeing, whether i agree with it or not"

"true enough." Brian watched Faye lean into Jack and figured he'd be a better person to provide some comfort. "I'll quickly use your bathroom. I don't want Mia to worry, so maybe you could?" He put his index fingers on his lips. "Plus I think Jack needs some help putting that pretty face of his back together. And in case you didn't noticed his hair is supposed to look like that." Brian loved pushing Jack's buttons and didn't miss an opportunity. Life would be so boring without his younger sibling.

Jack furrowed his brow at Brian's prison comment for a moment before he nodded with a slight smile. "Yeah sure, real helpful. I bet you just wanted to see me get ass-raped."
He gave Faye a soft comforting squeeze while she spoke before he mockingly narrowed his eyes at his brother's next comment. "Always with the jealousy, huh, bro?" He laughed, running a quick hand through his seemingly always wild and messy hair. "You just wish you had hair like mine, assnugget."
He shook his head at Brian, before he suddenly remembered something. Since his brother hadn't known Leon was here, there had to be a different reason why he had stopped by. "By the way, not that we don't absolutely love and adore your presence here, but uh.. why'd you grace us with your visit?"

At Jack's prison comment Brian frowned. The only reason that hadn't happened to him was that he was in solitary until Leon took care of him not being in prison an longer. Maybe he did have to thank leon after all but how would his brother know it hadn't happened. He just had a huge mouth sometimes!
"One day somebody's going to knock your teeth out." he shook his head. "Put that ice on your lip so you can't talk any more for a moment. I came here because you cut me off with your important business. I actually found a garage that looks pretty good. It's reasonably rpiced and it's got a decent location near downtown." he looked at Jack full of expectations. Brian was pretty thrilled about the idea of opening up a garage in LA. He could already picture the showroom.

Jack raised an eyebrow at Brian's snarky response and snorted. "Wow.. aren't you the loving brother. You truly warm my heart."
He finally refrained from any further smart ass comments when Brian told him why he'd come by. His face lit up in to a grin at the news while he clapped his brother on the shoulder. "You did? Damn, bro, that's awesome news. Have you spoken to the owner yet?"

Rome walked into the house, skirting Leon, who looked like he went ten rounds with a truck and lost, and saw Brian, who looked a little worse. He caught the end of Brian's statement to Jack about a garage.
"What's up? Why is Leon looking like y'all fought too hard?" He knew what had happened, had been here for it, but he also knew why, knew what went on inside, what had to be sacrificed.
"Oh, you'll be getting your half transferred to you on Monday, 'cuz," he said as he took a seat, knowing now that it wouldn't be Brian and Rome anymore, at least not on the garage thing. He'd have to find something else; he wasn't going to compete against his friend, and besides, if Brian found a garage, it was the best one, and he wouldn't be able to compete.

Brian was surprised by Rome's sudden appearance but what was little surprising is that Rome had listened to their conversation. The ex-cop gave him a friendly slap. "What's up, cuz? What are you talking about? Are not going to be my partner in crime?" For Brian it wasn't even up for discussion that rome wouldn't be part of the garage again.

"Talked to Tej. He thinks Jimmy could do with some experience. And since my reasons for bein' out there are gone..." He shook his head. Of COURSE Brian would want him in on the garage... but things like that were never certain, not really, even between brothers.
"The name's gonna stay, and I'm gonna get royalties for the rest of the year, until Jimmy can run it on his own name."

"And? That didn't asnwer my question." He nudged his buddy. "How about investing some of your cash in our new garage here in LA?" Was Rome really going to pretend he didn't want to?

"I don't know..." And this was the part he hated, just a little bit, because Brian always knew, knew that he'd do it, no matter how well he dissembled (and where did he ever learn a word like that anyway? must have learned more from Englishj class than he thought) he would end up doing it, and was that sad or great?
"Yeah, I suppose so."

Faye smiled in the direction of Rome, she always did like him, even back in LA when he was fixing up her car, and she had run in with Teg and Jimmy and she knew neither of them would diddle Rome when it came to money transfers and the like. She twisted ever so slightly realizing that neither of the men were using the home made ice pack and emptied the ice down the sink, bending so she could shoove the towel into the washing machine.
"Well when you guys figure it out, your gonna need to sit down and really look over the contract, no fast signing cus you think its a good place, thats how most buyers get stung"

Excitedly Brian gave Rome a high five. "I knew it!" Faye was right though. They had to watch out a little bit so they would get a good deal. "Appreciate it Faye. I'll show you the paperwork before I put my x underneath it."
"Excuse me." Brian pushed past Rome to get to the bathroom to get cleaned up. When he opened the door he barely recognised it. Instead of the bare practical room it was now a feel good oasis with decoration, scented oil and even a vase with a single flower. Faye had defintely added a feamle touch to his house. He looked it the mirror not very surprised at the picture that presented itself. Leon alway knew how to deliver a well placed punch. Brian grabbed one of the small towel from a stack of colourful towels and ran some water over it to clean his face. Hopefully Mia wouldn't give him one of her 'Take care of yourself' speeches today. When he was done he returned to the living room and handed Faye the towel. "Where do you want me to put this? By the way-I think this house was missing somebody like you!"

Faye smiled over at Brian, taking it from Brian and throwing it into the washing machine, she blushed at his comment, and turned her gaze onto Jack.
"Ah, he was doing alright with out me"She laughed, with a shrug, licking her lips she nodded her head at Brian.
"But its good to actually have a stable roof over my head"

"You should have seen this place before you moved in." he smirked at his brother. It wasn't overly homy when Brian used to live there but at least a little tidier than when Jack started distributing his beer bottles, old socks and guitar sheets all over the place.

Jack shook his head slightly when he saw the look on Brian's face combined with the words as soon as he reemerged from the bathroom and made a small sound that sounded much like a snort. He still had to get used to the female touches Faye had scattered throughout the house and the fact that he now had to be A LOT tidier than his usual self, but he guessed that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. He still had plenty of other bad habits left anyway.
He grinned at Faye and pulled her in to an exaggerated and extensive hug. "Oh come on, don't say that. I wasn't doing alright before. You simply complete me, girl!"
He laughed, dropping a kiss on her lips before he let go of her and opened the fridge. "I'd say this calls for a small celebration." He grabbed 4 beers from the fridge and shrugged as he tossed one to his brother and Rome before handing one to Faye and twisted the cap off of his own. "Or maybe just an excuse to grab a beer or two." He smirked, taking a long gulp from the brew.
