"Give me a reason and the old man will blow a hole into your head next time." His expression was dead serious. He stepped a little closer. "Who is this guy? If you give me the right kind of information I'll work a deal out for you. I know what I'm talking about. Only two months ago I used to call Lompoc my home and here I am.."

Isabelle laughed loudly. "Ha. You think you'll be able to work a deal out for me? Mr. O'Conner, do you even know what I've done?"
She smiled and shook her head. "Besides, even if I've seen the guy before, I wouldn't tell you squat."

"Maybe you could become an informant instead of a prisoner." He started moving toward the bag on the floor to grab it. Then he motioned for her with his gun. "Get out of my way!"

Isabelle smiled. "No." She picked up the bag and ran towards the back door.
"I hope your girlfriend's life was worth all this!" she yelled as she charged out the door.

As Chris made a dash for the door Brian followed right on her heels. He wasn't going to let her get away. He watched her jump in his car and sprinted towards his own. This was one of the occassions that he was quite the good runner even hough his side protested against the fast movements. He dropped into the driver seat of Mia's car hoping Chris wouldn't know it's him and revved the engine when Chris dissapeared down the street. Brian was going to follow her as far as he could.

Brian really thought she was that stupid? Isabelle laughed. He thought he was sneaky; she was too smart for his tricks. She was going to go to a club and let things go down there. He wouldn't be stupid enough to bring a gun into a public area. At least, Isabelle didn't think he was.
"You ready for this, Brian?" she smiled and pulled into the parking lot of a club that looked like it was filled to the brim. She grabbed her bag and glanced behind her. She didn't see anyone, but she knew Brian was close behind. She nodded at the bouncer and walked inside. There were tons of people dancing to the pounding music in the strobe lights. This game of cat and mouse got that much harder.

Brian spotted her car parked in front of a pub. This was almost too easy. On top of that she had some nerve going to live it up when he was onto her.
The bouncer stopped him and eyed him from head to toe. He looked at his face and asked. "Are you a trouble maker?" Brian touched his sore eyebrow. "No, I'm a cop. Not on duty." Again the bouncer looked him up and down. He noticed the looks some girls, who were waiting to enter, were giving Brian and waved him in. Brian winked at them and stepped inside the pub where he was met by a sea of dancing people. The music was too loud to speak and the air pretty stale. The worst part was : There were tons of skinny brunettes in barely any clothes.

Isabelle moved out onto the dance floor. There were too many people to distinguish who was who. Several offers for drinks floated her way, but she just ignored them. No need to draw unneccessary attention to herself, was there? Finally, she caught sight of Brian. It was hard to tell it was him, but she kept her gaze on him as she moved to the bar.
"Beer," she said to the bartender. A beer would give her two advantages: something to use for a weapon and it wouldn't get her so drunk that she lost control over her emotions and reflexes.

The mass of moving people made a search hard. Brian stepped behind three woman, who weren't Chris until he moved to the other side of the room where the bar was situated. The barkeeper asked him what he wanted but Brian waved him off. "Thanks, nothing." Then he spotted her...on the other end. He pulled his hat lower and slowly made his way around the bar.

Isabelle drank from her beer and looked around her. Two possibles were coming in her direction...one with his hat lowered and the other who avoided eye contact. She narrowed her eyes and sighed. There was a guy standing next to her, and she smiled at him.
"Distraction time..." She leaned forward and kissed the guy. He tensed and tried to pull away, but she didn't let him. Finally, he eased into the kiss.
"JEREMY! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" a woman yelled. Isabelle smiled against the stranger's lips and whipped around.
"Oh, ma'am, I'm so sorry! He tried forcing himself on me. I thought he was single!" Isabelle said in mock surprise. She frowned and looked from the guy she had kissed to the enraged woman.

Great, she was causing trouble. Brian tried to get around the commotion and keep his eye on Chris. A guy and a woman had started arguing loudly right in front of him. He pushed the man out of his way and reached for Chris' arm, who was trying to make a quick escape. "Where are you going, honey?"

Isabelle frowned. Great. She couldn't kill him in here, but maybe if they made their way inside she could. "Nowhere, sweety."
She wrenched her arm from his grasp and moved forward, beckoning for him to follow her.

This was interesting. Why wasn't she trying to run. She'd probably jump at his throat the next second. With his right hand on the butt of his gun, which was placed in his belt he followed her. "Stop playing games."

Isabelle walked outside and inhaled the fresh air. She turned to Brian and laughed.
"Me? Playing games? Ha. You're the one who went snooping around my property for no reason! I was gathering my things. Not killing someone...although I thought about it."
Isabelle chuckled and placed her hands on her hips. He knew he wouldn't attack her out here in the public, but she was ready for anything.

"Show me your hands, Isabelle. I don't like surprises. At least not your kind of surprises." He kept his eyes fixed on her.
Not too far away on the sidewalk a few people were smoking a cigarette.
"I personally don't care about you. I want to know who sent you: Name and location. If you tell me you can just go whereever you are going. If not, I'll throw your skinny ass in prison! And trust me, it's no fun."

Isabelle smirked. She wasn't that stupid. "I thought we already went over this? Anonymous caller on my phone, remember?"
She crossed her arms and rose her eyebrow. "Or are cops really that stupid?"

"Actually not. I'm not buying your crap." He shook his head angrily. "Why would you listen to what and anonymous caller wants from you?"

Isabelle laughed. "They broke me out of the FBI headquarters, remember? I'd listen to anybody that did that for me."
She uncrossed her arms and began walking away from him. "Goodbye, Brian. Hope to see you soon."

Brian knew very well that he couldn't keep her from going anywhere without comitting a crime himself. He currently had no badge or right to detain anybody. He watched her walk away and pulled out his phone calling the FBI. "Isabelle Weston is just walking down Hawthorne Avenue towards 32nd Street. Send somebody there right away. I'll try to keep her there as long as I can."
Brian hung up and ran after Isabelle. "Forget it, neighbour. I'm not letting you walk away."

Isabelle had heard the call, but it didn't bother. It was easy to evade the cops; she had done it successfully up until a couple days before, hadn't she? She laughed at Brian.
"Don't come near me, Brian. I would have to mess up your pretty little face, and that would be a shame, wouldn't it?" The knife was at her side, and she would keep her promise to him. If he came any closer or tried anything, she would flip on him.
