After Brian was done talking to Mia and Faye and had somewhat recovered from his fight with Jack earlier that day he left his brother and the girls at his old house and drove over to the Fort hoping to catch Chris at her new home. It was unlikely but maybe Brian could find some clues. It was already getting dark when he parked the Skyline around the corner. Like an old man he rolled out of the car and first walked home to grab his gun from his bedroom. Better dafe than sorry. Then he walked out the garden into a back alley and ducked down in order not to be seen when he approached Chris' house.

Isabelle had went back to the safe house after the attack on Faye. Without Doc's knowledge, she had slipped back out. She wanted to bring a few things back from her place, and if he knew, he would kill her. For a vehicle, she had opted for a big black tow truck with no plates. Something that was hard to see and impossible to detect.
She had been in the middle of gathering some clothes when she heard a vehicle. It definitely was not close, but she recognized the vehicle. Brian.
Isabelle pulled the knife out of her boot and moved outside. She wouldn't miss him if he moved; she had ears like a bat and eyes like a hawk. "Brian, I know you're out there," she called out, a half-smile plastered on her face.

From the front of the house Brian could hear her voice calling his name. His breath caught in his throat he stood still and ducked even lower. "How on earth..?" He mumbled to himself but didn't make a sound. When he didn't hear her coming around the house he decided to make a quick dash to the backdoor. Hopefully it wasn't locked.

Isabelle sighed. Well, he was a pretty good hider. She disappeared outside, keeping her ears wide open for any noises. She sang to herself.
"Come out kitty-kitty. Tonight's the night you die."

While he picked the locked as fast as he could her voice came closer. It had changed and gave him the chills. Before she came around the corner the slid inside and close the door behind him. Siting in a dark corner he fumbled out his gun from his belt. While his heart was pounding in his chest he wondered what the hecll he was doing in her house. He wiped his hand over his face and listened intently.

Lucky for Brian, Isabelle hadn't heard the door being unlocked. She moved back to her bedroom to grab the last few things. She couldn't shake the feeling that he was close, so she walked throughout the house.
"Hey, Brian, where are you?" she called out, placing her hands on her hips. She was actually inches from him.

When Chris was only a foot away Brian stood up silently and held the gun to her head with both hands. "Hi, Chris. Packing up?" His voice was cold. After what he'd seen on the FBI computer he had to be prepared for anything. Even pulling the trigger and blowing her head off. "Show me your hands."

Isabelle laughed. "Chris isn't here right now, so leave a message after the beep and she'll get back to you as soon as possible. Or not."
She whipped around, her arm up in the air, which knocked his arm off balance. "Mr. O'Conner, surely you were smart enough to know not to attack me. You were a federal agent, after all." Isabelle spat the words out at him with a sickly smile on her face.

Brian wasn't overly surprise by her fast move. He didn't loose his weapon but with a quick move caught her arm in mid air and gripped it tightly twisting it on her back. He growled against the back of her neck. "I'm not buying this sow your putting on, honey." He squeezed her arm so tight that all blood had be pressed out of it. "Who sent you for Faye? Or was it your idea?"

Isabelle sighed. "I already told Faye. But I guess you're too stupid to figure it out." She frowned.
"How else was I supposed to get out by myself? There was a mole on the inside. I don't know who he was working for. But I've been getting orders by way of cellphone. If I don't do as they say, I die." Sure, Isabelle lied, but he wouldn't know the difference.

Brian thought about it. It sounded plausible but given her record he didn't buy it. "Where's you're phone? Give it to me!" If it was true he'd have the FBI track the calls. "Where is the mole now?" He made sure he had a tight grip on the woman because he figured she had something up her sleeve. The gun was still in his other hand.

Isabelle chuckled. "Do you really think this guy would be so stupid as to let me give you the phone? I trashed it. And the mole...I believe he's dead."
Isabelle shrugged her shoulders. "Now do you mind? You're on my property." She smirked.

Brian padded her down with the gun in his hand just to find a bump in her back pocket. "Take it out." He couldn't drop the gun or her arm. "I'm just helping my neighbour, who invited me in." He twisted her arm a little higher on her back. Any more and her shoulder would pop out.

Isabelle clenched her teeth. His twisting her shoulder hurt, but it didn't phase her. She sighed.
"You know, I wouldn't be over here worrying about little ol' me. If I remember correctly, this guy had mentioned something about an attack on your girlfriend? Tonight, or something like that."
Isabelle sighed again. "I believe his exact words were that he was going to kidnap her and then cut her up until she bled to death." She let her words sink in. They were a lie, of course, but Brian didn't know that. He would have to consider that she was actually telling the truth, and she knew that. Even if it didn't work, she could still get herself out.
"And if you want my phone so badly, could you let go of me? It's not exactly easy with you nearly breaking my arm, you know."

The mention of Mia certainly struck a cord. Brian instantly got nervous even though he wasn't sure it was the truth since they seemed to be after Faye. But who knew. This guy was pretty crazy and ruthless. "Use your other hand before I decide to hurt you!" He pushed up the hand a little more twisting it slightly. He felt that he couldn't go any further. It was pretty unbeleivable that she didn't bend over in pain yet.

Isabelle clenched her teeth even harder. The pain was starting to become even more inbearable, and he seemed to not give any signs of letting up. Fine then, she would have to do this the hard way. She reached into her pocket with her free hand and pulled out the cell-phone. She held it up as if to give it to him, and then tossed it at the wall. It shattered on impact, and Isabelle laughed.
"Good luck trying to get stuff off of it now." As soon as he released her, she would kick his ass and then run.

When the phone shattered on the wall Brian pushed her arm up slightly in frustration, pushed her away a little bit and raised his gun while he went to retrieve the bits and pieces and shoved them in his pocket. He kept looking back at her to make sure she stayed away from him.

Isabelle smiled at him. Doc had been smart enough to give her two phones: one was a dud and the other was the one she actually used. The one she used was tucked safely away in her boot, unknown to him.
She rubbed at her shoulder a little bit. "You're lucky I'm not allowed to kill you yet. But when I am, you better watch your six." Isabelle crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows at him.

"I didn't know people like you take orders from anyone." He raised his eyebrows in the same fashion. "I'm not scared of you, little girl." He smirked, aimed at her head and shot a hole in the door frame inches away from her ear.

Isabelle smirked. Sure, the gun shot was loud, but it didn't phase her either. She uncrossed her arms and placed them on her hips.
"Looks like the old man has become a bad shot." Isabelle chuckled. "I take orders from anybody that I owe a favor to. He broke me out of the FBI headquarters...so I think I owe him one."
Isabelle laughed again. She wanted so badly to lash out at him, but she knew she couldn't.
