She was shell shocked, stuck to the place, the actions happening in the other room could be clearly heard and she knew in any other moment she would have gone and said something, done somethig, yet she couldnt, Dom had transported her back in time, she had never thought she would be this araid yet again, thought she had delt wiht all of that crap, yet only a few harsh words and thretening movements from the imposing figure that was Dominic Torretto she had fallen back into the past, expecting a hard right or a good solid kick at any second.
Jack came back, and she snapped her attention over to him, nodding her head she draw her lower lip between her teeth. "Yea" She muttered, with a sobar nod of her head.

Jack only shot Brian a 'shut up' look while he left the office, his hand subconsciously reaching up once more to touch his face. He flinched involuntarily at the contact, swallowing down a groan. Nothing may have been broken, lucky him, but it sure hurt like hell.
Swallowing down more than just the pained groan now, his hand dropped from his face when he caught the still haunted look on Faye's face. He knew what it meant, her past... He soon closed the distance between them, his arms sliding around her small frame as he softly pulled her against him.
"Hey.. no one is going to hurt you. Especially not him, ok?" He whispered against her hair in an attempt to soothe her before placing a kiss on her head.

When Dom asked how many people or who Brian had working at the garage he already knew Dom wouldn't like the answer. He nodded towards the open garage door towards his brother and Faye. "Jack as well. He owed me some money so he worked it off." He caught a glimpse of his brother hugging Faye. He couldn't see her but it was still obvious she was in a flutter by the way jack treated her when he was the one with a bloody nose.
Brian leaned over a bit to see her better. The vibrations shaking her small frame gave away that she was sobbing. With a frown the cop turned to his friend. "What the hell did you do to her?" He had no idea why Faye and Dom didn't get along but he thought this whole scenario was unnessecary. "Did you really have to do this? She's actually a pretty nice girl. For crying out loud, Dom. You're fucking intimidating, you know that?" Of course he knew.

It wasnt untill his arms were wrapped around her smaller frame, did she realize just how close to breaking down she was, or that she was trembling. She heaved in a shaky breath, her hand snaking up to hook into the shirt, holding herself tight agaisnt him. SHe couldnt beleive how easily she had been transported back, she had delt with her brother, Nate, and yet, Dominic Toretto had her cowering just the way Tristan had.
She pushed herself away from him, willing the tears to stay at bay, the last thing she wanted was to give Dom the satisfaction of seeing her cry. A fake smile slipped on her face as she turned haunted eyes onto Jack. "Im okay" She mummbled, but it was obvious to him and to her she wasnt.
"Can we get out of here" SHe muttered softly, stepping closer towards him once more.

Dom looked at Brian as he stood straight and folded his arms over his massive chest, "We exchanged some words. Not my fault she started quivering like an animal when she hit the wrong switch. Or did you forget all I got is a gas tank for a brain," the last bit came out bitter.
Faye to them was little miss perfect, little miss do no wrong. Of course when she was the one who was on the verge of tears when she had talked about Letty like that, Dom was the one to blame. Everything was his fault, he had started everything. Then again if he hadn't Brian and Jack and Faye would never have come into his life.
Dom resisted growling at Brian opting for the safer, "I'm sure she is, but she hates me because you and Leon went to prison getting me out, so somehow like always that's my fault. I'm out of here," Dom said shaking his head, he didn't need anymore of this shit, he blamed himself enough as it was.
He grabbed his keys off the hook next to the door and walked out of the office ignoring Faye and Jack, they weren't worth his frustrations.

For a moment Brian wanted to let dom go. It was always the safer choice not to mess with him and Brian liked his face intact. Usually he chose that way but he felt that the fight between his brother in law and Faye had gotten to a point where it was over the top, and brought unwanted trouble to the family. So he followed him outside passing his brother and faye as well. "Hang on, don't walk away from this again. Nobody blames you for us going to jail. It was our choice." he looked back at Faye. "Right, right?"

Dom paused just before getting into his car, "There wasn't a first time I walked away Brian."
He shook his head, there wasn't any harm in waiting for the response, he was going to drive away from the garage and go find a drink anyway. After all drinking always seemed to solve his problems.

"Wait." Brian stepped forward getting into Dom's comfort zone and placed his hand on the big guys shoulder. "Don't walk away! Let's solve this." His voice was firm, no room for negotiation.

Dom looked at Brian and lifted an eyebrow, "Get off of me Brian."
He said it in that, 'the next thing going to happen is my fist in your face' voice. Dom didn't want to talk anymore he didn't want to solve anything. He was content in leaving everything just the way it was because that was comfortable for him. That was familiar territory.

Dom's fuckoff attitude pissed Brian off. He didn't like the way Dom had just told him he was an idiot when it came to running a garage but then the man would walk away from a conversation to settle a fight. "For fucks sake, Dom. Just talk to me. That's all I'm asking. Don't turn your back on me but solve this problem, is that so hard?"

"I am talking to you ain't I buster," Dom said now annoyed, "I ain't got a choice in talking to you, and since when do I talk about feelings. There ain't a problem Brian, there's an understanding. She doesn't like me and I don't like her it's a mutual thing, so let it go."
He wanted to leave so he could drink and forget, he was trying to ignore the fact the skirt and Jack were right, Letty should have left his troublemaking ass a long time before she did. Dom pushed Brian back some and stepped out around the door closing it behind him, so he could lean on it. If Brian was going to be a girl about this shit he might as well stand hear and pretend to listen to his brother-in-law's hormonal ravings.

brian ignored the fact that Dom had pushed him even though it made his fingers twitch. "Problem is...we're all going to have to get along and you and her hating each other doesn't fly. What the heck is the problem anyway. Nobody blames you for anything...you and Faye just chose a different career. Why do you have to push each others buttons?" he threw his hands up in the air when he saw Fayes state of close-to-brake-down and Dom's what-do-I-care posture.

Faye shook her head as she watched the situation unfold in front of her, her brow was knitted as she all but clung to Jack trying not to break down, or hyperventalate, she needed to get out of there. Lickign her lips she turned her gae into the direction of Brian and Dom, neither of them would understand, neither of them would, Lee would, but Lee wasnt there, and even tehn Dom would never understand, he did more then push her buttons, he damn right scared her to death.
"Can we go, please" She whispered in the direction of Jack.

brian watched Faye make an attempt to leave. She looked sacred, okay but she didn't have to be. "Hey, Faye. Don't go. Let's try to settle this." Now was the moment when he was starting feel stupid. Neither one of them had any interest in solving the problem.

"And why exactly is this hating one another thing not going to fly?" Dom was trying to stay calm and rational, the girl had done more then just push his buttons, she had almost made him lose it on her.
He could have killed her and not ever realized it until it was all over. Dom knew he was dangerous when he was mad, which was why he didn't understand why Faye insisted on hitting the same triggers over and over again.

Brian was ready to just take both of their heads and knock them together to knock some sense into them. "Because we're all one family, okay? We need each other." He could see the sarcasm all over Dom's features. If it hadn't been Dom he'd probably kncoked him on his ass.

Jack watched Brian and Dom for a moment, once more snorting up the trickle of blood that was threatening to come out of his nose. If his brother kept this up, there'd soon be two O'Conners with a bleeding nose. Dumbass..
"Yeah, we can go.." He answered, realizing he should have taken her out of here minutes ago by the way she clung to him. His arm moved around her waist again, his free hand pulling the car keys from his pocket while he lead her to the Evo. He could only shoot Brian a 'let it go' look in passing. Clearly now was not the time to 'resolve' this.
After she slipped in to the passengers side, he sank down behind the wheel and fired up the engine not long before he pulled the Mitsubishi out on to the street. This garage was nothing but trouble.

Brian watched Faye and jack leave and didn't fail to notice his fat nose and the look he gave him. He yelled after them. "Oh that's just great. Leave! What do I care!" Nevertheless jack's car drove off like he didn't even exist leaving behind Brian and Dom. He turned to him and shrugged. "Whatever, bro."

"I understand you're trying to fix this forced family, but somethings ain't meant to be fixed," Dom said shaking his head not even thinking about the fight as he was thrown back into the 'fixing' he tried to do with Letty, "Want to grab a brew?"
He might as well stick with his brother-in-law until the Letty flashbacks stopped. Dom knew himself well enough that he'd be drowning his misery in a bottle if he weren't on the run. That or rebuilding the Charger again.

he didn't like the words or the fact that they were probably true. "No, man. I have to work. I need to get this garage running or I'll have to go back to my old job and you're probably the last one who would want that." With another shrug he turned to walk back inside. "How about you give me a hand instead of drinking this early in the day."
