The words of Brian O'Conner still rang in his ear, the blood pumping through his system with each angry breath. The cop, ex cop, FBI agent, what ever the hell he was, was a constant thorn in his side, even now. Carter had left enough threats, had asked nicely, and none to nicely enough times now, that one would presume he would leave well enough alone, especially with him having something a lot greater to loose now his lovely little wife had given birth, but no, he kept pushing, and the threat of Ninia finding out about Star was just to great.

He had contenplated taking Star out of the equation, but if on the of chance, Brian did open the big trap of his, then Nina would question, and he would loose Alyvia, he wasnt loosing either of them, just because some rookie wanted to make a name for himself, again!

No Carter knew this time something drastic had to be done, something a hell of a lot more then one dead dog and a message in blood. Mia Torretto was just as beautiful in person as she was in her survelence photos, long manes of chocloate hair, and the nurses outfit made her look all the more welcomeing.

It had been qucik, his goon feigning injury in the back alley way, where he knew there were no cameras. He watched with a careful eye, she didnt even have time to fight as his goons hand curled aroud her mouth, and dragged her backwards into the waiting back door.

Carter smirked, his good sliding into the passenger seat, and he twisted in his seat, the now bound and gagged Mia Torretto staring wide eyed back at him. "Miss Torretto, enjoy the ride"

For the first time since Tyler had become ill Mia had slept through the night and was more then refreshed when she slipped into the Skyline for Brian to drop her of at work, Tyler sleeping soundly in the back seat, even as the car bounced and finally rolled to a stop where Brian normally dropped her. With a smile she reached over the middle of the car and gave him a soft kiss. "Ring me if anything happens" her fingers lingered on the side of his face for a moment, as she draw him in for another kiss, before she grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder, and stepped out into the morning air.

The sound of the Skyline engine died as he drove away and Mia finally turned to head into the hospital. But she never made it! The loud commotion of someone yelling for help caught her attention and she quickly dashed into the direction, her bag fell to the floor as a hand curled around her mouth and neck, her body, arching and fighting back as she was dragged backwards, roughly thrown into the back seat of a waiting black car, the windows blacked out.

A familaiir looking face caught her eyes and she felt her heart catch in her throat, "You must be Carter Verone" Her brow furrowed as her gaze turned towards the man who had grabbed her, "You"

Carter smirked as he pulled the car out into the highway, his gaze shifting into the direction that Brian O'COnner had driven, he would regret the moment he had threatened him, he should have headed his warning in Miami, he should have stayed away, because now he was going to make him pay. The words Mia spoke made him smirk, obviously she had seen his partner a couple of times, which was a good thing, and a bad thing, ment that Mia wasnt going to live past the time she spent with him, no he needed Daniel secure in his postion, Mia couldnt be left alive to speak of who had taken her.

He caught her gaze in the rear veiw mirror and threw her a wink as he moved further and further away from the direction of his more upstate home. "Pleasure to meet you Miss Toretto" He stated, he flicked on the indicator and continued his pathway down towards the warehouses that were owned, by a few people, none of whcih could ever be traced back to him. With a soft breath he caught the reflection of his car in the window, a dark, beat up cat, something which he found himself disgusted in driving, but it was neseceray, no one could recgnise him, nor his car.

Finally he pulled the car to a stop, flicked a switch, and the warehouse door rolled open, he moved forward and pulled the car to a stop in the middle of the empty large space, hsi gaze shifted over towards Daniel. "Kepp her company" He demanded.

Verone had long since gone when Daniel seated himself on a crate, watching with certain intrigue how the woman on the chair in front of him still fought in vainly against her restrictions. He could more than see why O'Conner was intoxicated by the brunette. Shame.

Hands smoothed down the creases in his pants as he stood up, smiling at the dark and distrustful look directed his way when he did so. She was truly a feisty one. He had to give her that.

"Now now, miss Toretto. There's really no need for such hostility. In a way we're all friends here." He said as he circled behind the brunette and bended down to ear level.

"How about I at least make things more comfortable for you and remove the gag. It's not like anyone will hear you all the way out here anyway." He spoke softly in to her ear as a hand smoothed away the long locks of hair from her neck, chuckling as she jerked away from his touch. The gag became untied and was removed only a moment later.

With every passing moment Mia glared, and fought, even as she was dragged from the car, and shooved roughly into the chair she was now sitting in, her hands bound behind her back and a gag in her mouth. SHe fought and she spat obsenities, untill she they had gagged her, then she had just glared, her eyes cold and fillde with hatred as she looked back at the man sat, cool as a cucumber in front of her.

Her fingers were working behind her back, rope rubbing her wrists raw, which only worsened when he came near her, his fingers brushed agaisnt her neck and she forced herself away from him, as far as she could, but the gag was removed and she worked her jaw, her tongue working over her lips.

"You have no idea what youve brought on yourself" She spat, her eyes burning with a fire as she looked back at him, she knew if Brian didnt come through, the second her brother heard about it, she would. "Just let me go" Her fire turned into desperation as she continued her struggles.

"Tsk tsk, miss Toretto, you're only going to hurt yourself like that." Daniel said, smiling as he watched the woman continue her fight against her bounds. By now she should know it was useless. The rope was strong, the knots tight. Still, her spirit was something to be admired if anything. Such a little spitfire. What a woman like this could ever see in that whiny O'Conner, he would never know.

His eyes gleamed with amusement when the brunette uttered her threat, one corner of his mouth curling up in a smirk. Once again his hand smoothed over her cheek before her chin was cupped and he forced the woman to look at him.

"I know exactly what I've brought on myself. It's your husband who has no idea." He said calmly, laughing at her desperate plea as he let go of her chin. "Now why would I want to let you go?Don't you enjoy my company?"

She pushed herself away from his touch, it was so tender, and it disgusted her, with a glare in her eyes she pursed her lips as he forced herself to look at him, the amusment in his eyes making he feetl sick to the stomach, chuckling she let out a breath as she allowed her chin to go. Yet his words hit a chord, what had Brian got himself in, and yet she blamed herself to, Brian had begged, begged her to come away with him, and she had refused and now she was trapped with Carter and someone Brian thought he could trust.

"Screw you" She hissed, her voice filled with hateful anger as she looked at him, she turned her gaze away from him and fell still.

"Screw me." Daniel repeated her words with a soft nod of the head. His hand lashed out quick against her cheek and the smack resounded against the bare walls of the almost empty warehouse, but her whimper made everything even more satisfying.

"Such a pretty mouth and yet it holds such a foul tongue, miss Toretto." He spoke derisively smirking. He'd made sure there had been enough force behind the slap to hurt, but never enough to leave a mark on the woman's bronzed skin. He was not to bruise, not yet, but break her attitude he would if he deemed necessary. She would know her place just like the O'Conners will.

"In your situation you might want to consider toning that down a bit." He said darkly.

His hand hit out at her quickly, forcing her head to the side, the sound echoed around the room as well as her ears, a soft whimper of pain falling from her lips, eyes watering as she turned cold defient eyes onto the man in front of her, her tongue darted out, trailing over her lip, trying to see if her lip had split, she couldnt taste blood, which was good. Yet her heart was pounding beneath her chest, so rappidly it made her blood rush through her system, if he could strike out now, what else was he willinging to do.

"Yea and in your situation you can go to fucking hell" She spat, the Toretto fire comeing out of her, she was sure she would refret it, and regret it soon yet she wasnt about to sit there and allow him to intimidate her.

Daniel drew his tongue over his bottom lip for a moment before the hand lashed out again, whipping the brunette's head to the opposite side with more force than the first strike had done. It was sure to split her lip this time for he had not held back as much and no moments reprieve was given before he grabbed hold of her chin once more, his fingers digging harshly in each side of her face as he did so. He did not enjoy beating women, but for this one he was willing to make an exception for multiple reasons.

"Not for a long while, sweetheart. But while you are in my company I can make you go through yours if you keep pushing me." He spoke softly in to her ear as he was uncomfortably close to the woman's face.

A loud cry left her lips as he lashed out once more, his hand hitting the other side of her face, her head whipping to the side, she could already taste the blood, and her tongue darting out, her hands struggling agaisnt the bonds, desperate to lift her hand and check the wound.

Her eyes were defient as his hands, forcefully gripped her chin, forceing her to look at him once more, her breathing heavy as she tried to force her breathing to contorl. His breath was hot on her neck as he spoke, low, but there was a threat behind his words, loud and clear.

"Make sense, why he's chose you, your to stupid to realize he's using you as a full guy" She hissed trying to pull her chin away from him.

"I'm sorry, miss Toretto. Did I hurt you?" Daniel said, pursing his lips in veined concern. He used the pad of his thumb to wipe some blood from the woman's lip but his hold on her chin remained the same as he smiled at her failing attempt to talk him off his game.

"Wrong again. See I have my own safety net when it comes to Mr Verone." He said. He could feel her working against his hold and only smiled wider. "Besides, someone else already auditioned for the role of scapegoat and passed with flying colors. I'm sure the name Jack O'Conner rings a bell or two in that pretty little head of yours. After he saw what happened to his precious little lawyer, that kid is like wax in our hands. Love does make desperate." He said, chuckling as he finally released his grip. "Just be glad you weren't in her shoes, hm?"

His grip was still firm and she felt bile rising in her throat as he used his thumb to wipe some of the blood she could taste in her mouth she struggeled agaisnt his hold, trying to pull her chin away from him, yet with every passing word her dread grew.

Jack, what the hell did they have on him, why, she didnt understand why any of this was happening, why Verone had taken such a liking to Brian, why he couldnt leave them alone, like he was Verone. Then he mentioned Faye and he entire face paled, her heart race increased, it made sense, if they had done something to Faye, Jack would do anything.

"What the hell did you do to her" She snapped.
