Faye fially turned her gaze onto Brian when they pulled to a stop, with a small shrug of her shoulders she likced her lips, "Ice cream" She muttered softly, lots of icecream...that was the way to make her feel better. "Burger to" She licked her lips and rested her head agaisnt the cool window.

"A shitload of icecream with every topping you can find and another burger. thak you." He told the man in the speaker. "That's 12,80 dollars. Drive up to the second window."
Half an hour later, 12.80 dollars shorter and statisfied-at least when it came to filling their bellies Faye and Brian drove to the new garage. When the stopped in front of it it was still raining cats and dogs. "Tada, the newer, bigger, better 'Racing customs"

Faye licked her lips as she turned her gaze onto the garage, "Wow" She muttered, impressed with the size and the location.
"Your gonna get plenty of bussiness this side of town" She looked over at him and ran a hand through her hair, with a sigh she laughed, garages made her thinnk of Jack, she didnt want to think of him.
"I bet this place set you back some"

"No, I didn't buy it. Walter did. He thinks he owes me." Brian shrugged. "Apparently he has more money than he can handle so...I'm a happy receiver." He shut off the engine and asked. "Wanna see the inside?" His eyes sparkled slightly.

Faye looked over at him, Walter.....letting out a sigh she shook her head ever so slightly, his bright sparkling eyes made her smile and she nodded her head. "Yea" She nodded and looked out of the window, thankfully the rain had stopped, so she wasnt about to get soaked again.
Stepping out of the car she followed Brian to the garage, if he was excited he was gonna talk her head of, he'd keep her occupied.

Hey-still raining cats and dogs!
Brian ran to the door, unlocked it and let them both into the wholy temple of car modifications, which was totally empty except for a few shelves and boxes. "This is going to become a how room, over there will be the garage...then back here." He sped up while he crossed over to the other side of the dark place and flicked the lights on. "Sorry, bout that. Over here we'll do paint jobs and up there!" He pointed to a metal staircase. "is where I lay my head right now...sadly enough!"

Faye looekd around, she could imagine it all, everywhere he showed her she could imagine what was going to be there. With a smile she wondered through the garage, looking left and right, getting a feel for the place.
"A place this size, and your reputation yours gonna be rolling it" She stated with a small smile, "Have you sorted insurance and things out yet" She wondered, turning her gaze over towards him.
At the last part of his sentence her gaze lifted and she sighed softly, "Bri she will come around" She whispered, she had to, cus if Mia and Brian couldnt last she doubted if any one would ever be able to.

"Insurance, no not yet. Just property insurance." He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms in front of his chest. " I hope that she will. I can't imagine my life without her and Tyler." That's all he said before he pushed himself off the wall. His shirt was wet and the night pretty chilly. "Are you cold? Let's go upstairs. The heater's on up there." He made his way up the stairs still climbing every step with his right foot first-mostly out of habit.

"Yeah." The small two room apartment was built into the roof of the place with an angle glass ceiling and a small brick porch. "It's like a little loft...it even has a fire place, cool huh?" He pointed up at the glass above their heads. "It's awesome when the sun's up there instead of raindrops." Brian hobbled over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of coke, poured some in a glass and topped it up with Whiskey from a paper bag they had bought. "Same for you? That's one thing Jack knows...booze will ease the pain. Trust me!"

Faye stood in the middle of the room, her gaze turned upwards, she could imagine the room fillde with light and heat when the sun was raised high in the air. Smiling she lowered her gaze and turned it towards Brian. "I bet, i can imagine this place being pretty nice"
Carefully she watched him, her dark gaze watching the liquid hitting the cup, slolwy she walked towards him, her body leaning agaisnt the counter, where she lowered untill her elbows were resting agaisnt the counter. "Yea...but no coke" The mention of Jack caused a shot of pain straight through her body, one she desperatly wanted to forget.

Brian raised his brows. "No coke, huh? okay, but don't complain tomorrow morning." Quickly he filled her cup half way and lifted his glass. "To us! The outcasts." His eyes met hers and he noticed how sad she was looking. "We'll both be okay, right?" He lifted the glass to his lips and enjoyed the coke with slight zing to it. "You know what? I'll run down and see what I can find out back. There must be something to light a fire with."
A moment later he made his way down the stairs and out onto the large back lot. There were a whole bunch of parts stored there, boxes and stuff that was simply unidentifiable in the dark. Brian grabbed a wooden crate, which was underneath a couple of others and therefore still dry. Wiping the rain from his eyes he tried to find something else but the darkness and hard rain made it nearly impossible.

Faye laughed dryly...oh she wouldnt complain in the morning, she would actually reveal in the pain drinking was going to cause, but for now she could concentrate on the warm, happy feeling, and the slight burn as she tipped back half the glass. Shrugging her shoulders she licked her lips, "Maybe" SHe muttered, but she didnt feel alright, she didnt think she ever would, things were fucked up....and she no longer could see up....only down.
With a small nod of her head she watched him leave, before downing the rest of the glass, before this time refilling it right to the top. WRapping one arm around her body, she rested the arm with the glass in, on top of it and headed over towards the window that overlooked the beach.

In the corner Brian found an old shelf made of wood. It was way to big to burn it the way it was so he kicked at it hoping it would brake. The top shelf fell down, so Brian kicked at it again but this time the board broke and scrached his lower leg open. "Ah shit." He cursed and proceeded to rip and tear on it until it came off the frame. With both boards and the crate under his arm he hurried to the back door. By now he was soaked to the bone and when he arrived back upstairs he noticed that Faye was starting to get soaked from the inside and lost in a pretty bad place. "Hey, I found some."

At the sound of Brians vocie she turned back around, her dark eyes locked onto him, slolwy trailing up and down his wet form, the rain having caused the shirt he was wearing to stick to his impressive figure. Licking her lips she lowered her gaze. "You should get dryed of" She muttered, before downing the rest of her drink, her gaze onec meoreturning to the outside world. She had heard once before that the weather often mirrored what you were feelng and she realized that today it was actually true.

"I will." He nodded and left her for a moment. When he returned he had changed into comfortable shorts and a hoody. Only his hair was still wet but that didn't matter. He came up behind her and place his hand on her shoulder. After a moment he whispered. "I hate to see you like this. I'm so sorry."

Faye stilled when she felt the hand resting agaisnt her shoudler, for half a second she thought it was Jack, until she remembered the reason she was in the state she was in, why she was there, and not with him, not at home. Clenching her jaw her eyes closed and a shaky breath fell from her lips.
"What did i do wrong" She muttered, voice close to breaking as she tried desperatly to keep the tears at bay.

That was a loaded question and one that should remain unanswered so Brian decided to walk to the fireplace and broke the wood into smaller pieces as far as he could. He shoved paper, cardboard and some of the wood from the carte in and lit it. Even though the wood was damp it burned-with a lot of smoke. "Shit" Brian opened the window. "Sorry, take my sleeping bag." He pointed to the matress on the ground. When she didn't move he sighed. "Nothing, Faye. Jack's an idiot, you did nothing."

Faye sighed shaking her head as she looked over at Brian, he was wrong, Jack wasnt an idiot, far from it, he did stupid things yea, but he did them with teh best of intenstions. Heaving in a breath she lowered her gaze and instead moved to the sofa where she curled her legs under her. She had done soething wrong, he was finally tired of the little insecure and petfried girl she really was, he had finally realized what he has gotten himself into and ran before he had to stay and go any further.
With a sigh she curled her arm under her head and closed her eyes, the alchol was wrokign its way through her body nicely...she just hoped she was gonna be able to sleep.

From his crouched down position in front of the fire Brian shot a glance back at the troubled woman on his sofa. He had no idea how to comfort her, what to say or do." He sat down where he was and rubbed his face. "Is there anything I can do?"
