Alessandra practically fell down into her chair at a cafe table in the corner of her favorite coffee spot. Roscoe, her big husky, laid down next to her. Ale laughed and pet his ears. She had just come in from a run and was terribly exhausted. Her hair was plastered to her sweaty forehead. It had been almost three days since she had last worked out. The new story she was working on was consuming her. The story was about a whole corrupt police task force and so far it wasn’t working out very well.
Her waiter walked over and smiled down at her. ”What can I get you?”
Alessandra pursed her lips. ”Just a regular coffee, please. And do you have those little blueberry muffins?” The waiter nodded. ”I’ll have one of those, then.”
Roscoe barked and Ale smiled. The only reason Roscoe was allowed in here was because Ale was good friends with the owner. She had actually worked at the coffee shop for a couple months until she had gotten her job at the paper. With a frustrated sigh, she leaned against the wall of the cafe. She had a massive headache and it wasn’t going away.
”What are we going to do, Roscoe? Huh?” Ale asked, rubbing her temples and wishing the headache away.

Rosie had gone out early in the morning to get some coffee from a coffee shop where she knew the owner. She took in a breath and walked down the street as she got looks from people 'I guess people still hate the fact that I walked out on Worlds' She thought to herself. She walked into the coffee shop and smiled "Hey Jay" She said the guy behind the counter as she walked over and took a seat at the counter "Strong coffee and a blueberry muffin this morning" She smiled as she sat there, alot people still knew her as the only gymnist to walk out of Worlds and even though she went back the second time around, she still got the dirty looks of those who still hated what she did. They didn't understand her reason's for walking out nor would they.

Ale picked her head up as a woman walked into the coffee shop. She vaguely recognized her and soon realized it was Rosie Martelli. Ale had done a piece on her back when she first started working at the paper. Ale just couldn't resist introducing herself, so she stood up and stood next to the woman.
"Rosie Martelli? Hi. I'm Alessandra de Marco, journalist for the Gazette." Ale smiled and stuck out her hand for the other woman to take.

Rosie took a sip of the coffee placed infront of her as she looked at the woman who "Hi" She smiled and shook her hand. Rosie was used to people from the paper coming up to her so it didn't really bother her, she just hated when they brought up the first time she went to worlds and walked out right before she was to go on the floor. She never told any of the papers why she walked out even if they begged.

"I wrote a piece on you a few years ago. I never got to meet you, though." Ale smiled.
She looked at the guy behind the counter. "I'll pay for her stuff, Jay." He nodded and Ale returned her attention to Rosie.
"So how have you been?"

Rosie looked at her as she smiled "Another reporter who did a piece on me" She shook her head "I've been living my life outside of gymnastics" She took a bit of her muffin as she looked over at Jay and nodded and then looked back to her " Look, I know you probably want to do another piece on me but I'm out of that life and I don't want to be in the papers again" She smiled at her as she took in a breath, most reporters who spoke to her wanted to do another piece on her.

"Well, maybe if I was still just a regular reporter. But I do different stories now. Usually scandals within the government and stuff like that." Ale laughed. She sipped from her coffee. Roscoe stood next to her, his tail wagging rapidly.
"It's just an honor to finally meet you, is all." Ale smiled.

She nodded as she took a bit of her muffin and swallowed it "Most are still upset with me" She sighed as she raised her coffee and took a sip of it as she then placed the cup back down on the counter and glanced around and back at her "Your one of the first who hasn't asked me right away about my first trip to Worlds"

"Well, I kind of understand. I mean, I don't entirely know why you walked out, but I figure you have your reasons. And I won't give you shit for that."
Ale shrugged. "How's your brother doing?"
Ale had connections and she had heard the Martelli name quite a few times over the past few years. The main reason she heard it was because it was heavily connected with the Torettos. Ale knew the Toretto name from racing, though she had never gotten the chance to meet/race them.

Rosie looked at her as she listened "It was personal and thanks" That was all she was goin to say on the matter. She looked at her when she mentioned Vince "How do you know I have a brother?" Not many who knew her as a gymnist knee that she had a brother. She took a sip of her coffee as she finished off her muffin.
