Tokyo (two days after arrival)
Eagerly he was waiting to receive the all clear and fake paperwork back to finally get the cars off the ship now that it had been unloaded. "We'll have to change the paint jobs and then get rid of these cars and get some new ones, you know that?" He nudged him. "Those two cars are the only thing that could be traceable. They just stand out too much. If any traffic camera picks up a picture, Hobbs knows where we are."
When Brian climbed into the driver seat of Mira's car a bit of sadness overcame him that he had to leave his own Skyline behind back home but he quickly worked that emotion off by turning the key in the ignition and rolling off the ship onto the dock.
In the rear view mirror he caught a glimpse of Cole doing the same thig with a large grin on his face. "Oh boy." He muttered to himself. Cole looked just like a kid in a candy store...much like Brian had when he first started street racing.

Fortunetly, Cole's evo didn't have a paint job, it looked almost completely stock from the outside, so he figured he could get away with running it for a little while. At least until he scrapped together the cash for another ride. The GT-R meanwhile would have to be hidden. It sure as hell felt good to be sitting in his "office" as he liked to call it. He was ready to show these japs what an american driver could do...with a Mitsubishi no less. He followed Brian for awhile, he was starting to question if Brian knew where he was going, until he led him right into an underground parking garage full of tuned up cars, scantily clad ladies, and a bunch of young men looking like they had something to prove. Tingling sensations were already going down Cole's spine. "Game time."

Kira stood in the crowd of people though her clothing matched the style of the other girls her bright blonde hair made her stick out like a sore thumb. She stood next to her Ford Mustang GT it didn't even compare to any of the cars there. As she started taking pictures of different people and cars she saw something out of the corner of her eyes. She turned her head slightly and saw Cole sitting in the drivers seat of a car. She didn't know the make or model but she did know it wasn't as tricked out as the others here. "Must be here to race," she thought as she took a quick picture of him and the guy in front of him.

As he was looking for a parking spot, Cole thought he saw a camera flash out of the corner of his eye. Even though he didn't think much of it, he turned in the direction of it and saw a blonde head among all the others. At first it he simply dismissed it, until he remembered the lady he ran into the other night. "Oh sh*t." He cussed under his breathe. A fellow american finding out he was a street racer was the last thing he and Brian needed, especially since they're wanted. Quickly he parked his car and climbed out, already curious bystanders were gazing both him and his ride over. He tried to find the blonde again, but had a hard time seeing through all the faces.

After she saw Cole turn in her direction Kira knew he would see her again even if it was just because of her hair color. She walked off to look at some other cars not going to far from where she first was she just needed some closer shots of some of the best looking cars that she could find even if she would have no idea what they were her client would and that would definitional make him happy. As she walked away her back now facing Cole her long pony-tail still moved side to side with each step and motion she made.

The vibe in the underground parking lot was incredible. Almost better than back home. At first sight Brian saw a lot more flashy gadgets and details than in the states. The quality of drivers had to be determined yet and he wasn’t about to make the mistake to underestimate them. On the contrary. The ex-cop wanted his competition to underestimate him. Therefore he left his right arm in the sling instead of taking it off as he had initially planned. Who wouldn’t want to compete against somebody with a handicap and make some easy money.
When he got out he saw Cole’s look and heard him curse following his gaze. All he could see was a blonde woman walking away. “Do you know her?” He wondered what was the matter. “I’m not so sure it’s a good idea to come here before we pain the cars.” Excitement took over when he heard the first set of engines howl and tires squeak. “Maybe just this one time.”

Of course she was right. It would be aweful if the kid had only one parent right from the start but it was aybe better than always being on the run. He shrugged that thought off and let his eyes meet hers. There was so much depth, so much hurt and fear in hers. Much more than he had ever seen there before. “No, I’m not telling you to leave…not yet at least.” He gave her a weak smile. The thought alone made him heavy hearted. “What good would it be if you leave to another country but you’re still wanted yourself?” He took her hand and played with her fingers. “I’m sorry. It’s just…knowing that you are thinking about leaving hurts.” He swallowed hard against the lump in his throat because the day might come when they’d have to part. He embraced her in a hug for a long moment before he said. “But Mira, if it ever comes down to it…I want you and the kid to have a good, free life. If your dad or whoever catches up to us, you’ll have to turn me in and safe yourself…for the babies sake. And I don#t care if you want to or not. I’m going to make you! It doesn't make sense that we both go to jail...plus who would bust me out then?”

She turned around from taking pictures and saw the other man had joined up with Cole. Kira walked back over to her car and brought out a few photos before heading over to them. "So you two are racers then?" she asked both of them.

Cole leaned towards Brian. "I met her yesterday at the hotel. She's a photographer and she was hired by a sports writer to take pictures on the street racing world." He shook his head. "We cannot let her get any photos of us, or we're screwed." His rant with Brian was interrupted when Kira suddenly arrived. "Oh uh, hey Kira." A hint of nervousness in his voice. He almost introduced Brian but thought Brian probably wouldn't appreciate anybody knowing his name with his face. "No were not racers, we just come and watch sometimes." He hoped Kira would believe that nonsense.

There went all of tonights fun. They couldn't race in order not to blow their cover. Brian had noticed the large NIKON around her neck before Cole said one word and easily put two and two together. Unaware that she had already taken pictures of them Brian greeted her in a somewhat friendly manner and a fake Texan accent. "So you're a Photographer...or just a stalker." I was meant to be a joke but came out pretty harsh. He shook his head a little embarassed. "Sorry, that came out wrong. Didn't mean to be rude."
Nervously he shot a look at their cars. Hopefully she wouldn't take any photos of them either or he'd have to find a damn good reason to rip the camera from her hands.

Kira laughed lightly. "It's alright I'm sure it won't be the last time I hear a comment like that and sorry that I jumped to conclusions about both of you being racers I just assumed because the car," she looked over at the car Brian drove up in. "It just looks like some that I had seen back in the states." Her face saddened slightly when talking about the states. She missed being back home. She smiled slightly again, "I'm Kira by the way." She held out her empty hand out to Brian.
She wasn't going to question them the last thing she wanted after meeting some new people was a fight that's why in her other hand were the only pictures of Brian and Cole she had taken at the accident. Besides the ones she just took a minute ago there were no others.

Brian waved off the comment. "They have them in the states, too. Kira...nice name, are you from in the states?" He needed a quick way to driect the conversation into a different direction so he motioned for the racers who were lining up on the side of the lot. "That's the guys you have to watch out for. Check out the silver GT-R."
The pictures in her hand caught his eye for a moment when he spotted his own olive and white plaid shirt in it. He shot a meaningful look at Cole. They needed to get their hands on those pictures. "Is that me?" He asked about the pictures in her hand and simply took them before he studied them with interest. They had been taken in the evening when the accident had happened. "You like taking photos of handsome guys." He asked with a cocky grin. Coming closer he whispered in her ear. "Could you do me a favor and delete them? My friend here is actually really media shy. He thinks he's butt ugly." Brian lied through his teeth.

Cole momentarily shot Brian a "you're dead" look. But realizing he actually had a really clever idea, he played into it. "Yeah I really would rather not be involved with your photos. Besides, I don't want to be associated directly with this kind of activity." Cole hoped he wasn't digging an even bigger hole for themselves, but at this point, they had to do whatever it took to make sure those photos didn't go beyond Kira's hand.

The little dirty look Cole gave him amused Brian but he'd probably pay for it later. Joining in on Cole's idea he added. "Yeah, did you know it's actually illegal? I'm surprised they let you take pictures here. Watch that you don't get yourself in trouble."
Not too far away the first racers were returning and shooting towards the finish line. Obviously the racers went up a few stories, then drifted back down and ended up where they started. While one of the cars didn't make it back at all a Lancer won the race. The owner got out with unexpected dignity and raised both arms slowly. A gesture that reminded Brian so much of Dom. If only his friend was here.

Kira nodded slightly as she spoke sadly she really missed home but she did love her job right here in Japan. "Yes I'm from the states though I haven't been home in the last two weeks. Whats a GT-R?"
She blushed slightly at how close Brian was to her she isn't use to a guy being that close to her face. "They are the only copies that I have. I don't normally post shots like this on my website so I thought you and Cole would like them though."
She sighed slightly they started to sound like they didn't want her around though she didn't really blame them. "I have a job to do my client wants a picture of a few different driver." She looked around to see if she could find any of them because of the race that just finished her fingers twitched wanting to take some pictures of the winner but she held back the urge. "Though I can't find them at the moment."

BayLeigh stood against the hood of her FairLady Z. It was a flat black with orange swirls going all around it, painted herself. It had a set of Motegi wheels on it, painted flatblack with an orange center cap and orange lip. She painted the car her self and this was its first time out after it. Many of the people she knew were coming by, commenting on the new color. She's always proud of her work, and now that it's not it's stock silver the cops here won't recognize it, at least not till she get's caught by one.
Tonight felt different to her, for once she wore a short jean skirt and a low cut shirt. The shirt exposed her tattos, a line of hearts on her hip and a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 on her back left shoulder. She smiled and nodded as she spoke fluent Japanese to the others around her. She was waiting for her turn to race, she hasn't raced in a few weeks and she was eager to get out there, she was one of the top racers here in Japan. She loved it here, it felt like a home to her.

Cole pointed to the silver Nissan exotic parked a couple rows across. "That's a GT-R." The car reminded him of his GT-R, if only he could race it. Cole wanted to explore the area a little and see if there was anybody any good around. He quickly excused himself, leaving Brian to deal with Kira. Those two seemed to be hitting it off real well, he thought sarcastically. After a few minutes of exploring, he concluded that he had never seen anything like this. The sheer number of cars and drivers here was amazing, atleast three times bigger than anything he had seen in the U.S. He noticed a black and orange 350z that looked quite unique among the other cars. He saw what he thought to be the owner checking the tire pressures. Seeing she wasn't Japanese, he felt confident she spoke english. "Nice car." He nodded.

When he followed Coles path to a dark haired girl he understood his interest. For one the chick was pretty darn hot, not so much because of her barely existent clothes or tattoes but the way she handled her ride. Obviously she was a driver, which was always hot in Brian's book. The other reason was her car, which was right up Coles alley. The Nissan has just recently been upgraded to race the red line to seven thousand rpms. Not bad for a lady he thought.
"I think the girl might be a good choice. Unless your client doesn't want girls." Any other person was a good choice in Brian's book and this photographer didn't really know too much about it. For a moment he contemplated telling her his name but then decided against it. He didn't want to lie and there was no need for her to know his name. "How come you've been hired to take pictures of cars when you're not familiar with them?" He placed his left palm on her back to gently direct her over to the row of Japanese cars and away from his own.

Kira nodded after Cole pointed out the GT-R "I guess that looks like a good car" she thought not really knowing anything else.
She looked over in the direction that Brian was talking about and saw the girl. The car caught her eye right away she really wanted to take a picture but decided against it for the sake of not being rude. "Because my client said I didn't need to know anything and all the other car pictures I have taken he really likes so he told me just take the pictures and he would take care of the rest. Besides if I need any information from here I just ask the racer I've learned they really like to talk about their cars." She let out a small laugh knowing how the racers loved to talk about themselves or the car.

"They sure do." He smiled a little because he was talking about 'them' drivers as if he wasn't part of the whole show. Out of the corner of his eye he looked at her. The woman had to be maybe 5 years younger than him and looked completely out of place with her blonde hair. She was definetly a looker.
For a while Brian just stood at the side lines watching the drivers to figure out which one of them could be real competition. Then he turned to her to ask. "So you've been around here quite a bit. Which drivers usually win and who looses?"
