BayLeigh arrive at home. Her house was a perfect spot between Tokyo and Yokohama. It was a pretty simple Japanese house, but it had a decent size land. Behind the house was another building, it used to be a three car garage but BayLeigh split it in half, to where one car if in each side, as well as a car in each side. The paint side the door blended in with the wall, BayLeigh wanted to make sure it was sealed everywhere to make a good paint shop. It had space and everything needed for paint, all the tools a ton of tape, plastic covers, and other things.
The mechanical side had pretty much every tool out there, as well as a tire machine, air compressors, an engine puller, and more. Right now she didn't have any of her cars in it, she planned to pull the G35 in it soon. To the side of the house was a big garage, it looked like a two car garage from the front but it was much longer, that way four cars can fit in it. She pulled around to the back side and opened the door, pulling the Z in next to the G35. She got out of the car and locked it, then closed the door.
She walked around and opened the front of it, she smiled as she saw her R34 Skyline and her Skyline crossover. She walked over to the crossover and got in it, cranking it up. She pulled it out to the back of the house so she could wash it.

It had been a few days since the tangle Cole had with Brian at the races, since then he had kept himself busy with his own activities separate from Brian and Mira. He remembered the number Bayleigh had given him and decided to call it. Maybe he could make a new friend and find out more about what happens in Tokyo. He dialed the number and sat down in his car.

BayLeigh dropped the hose as she heard "I will buy you a new life" playing from the back door. She left her car and picked up her phone. She walked inside the house and noticed a number she didn't recognize, she hit the answer button. "Hello?" She asked as she put it to her ear.

"Hey Bayleigh, it's Cole, the guy at the races the other day." He explained even though it probably wasn't necessary. "Are you busy today at all?" He asked looking at the scratch on the hood of the evo.

BayLeigh smiled as she heard Cole's voice. "Hey, I'm just at home, I was going to try and wash my cars. You can come by anytime." She walked over to the kitchen getting a Coca Cola out of the fridge, glad that even though she was away from the States she could still have her favorite drink.

"Alright, see ya in a bit." Cole fired the evo and drove to the address on the paper, he was still shocked that she was this inviting to a stranger. If only she knew why Cole was here, not that it mattered. A couple dozen miles and a few annoying traffic jams later, he arrived at the written address. He jumped out of the car, knocked on the front door, and leaned against the roof pillar.

BayLeigh finished with her crossover and had just pulled the R34 out next to it as she heard the front door. She smiled knowing it was Cole, who probably hasn't seen past the front of the house. She walked inside and through the house, opening the door as she got to it. "Welcome to mi casa" She smiled, "Come on it, I was just out back."

Cole gladly walked in and checked out the place. Houses in Japan sure were different than the housing in America. Nonetheless, by Japan's standards, it was a very nice place. He followed Bayleigh to the back, where he was greeted with the sight of a gorgeous R34 GTR. "Another nice car, jeez you got all the Nissans covered for sure." He laughed. Do you ever race that much?" He pointed at the skyline.

BayLeigh laughed as they walked out back. "I'm kinda biased to Nissan. The G35 is in the garage with the Z if you want to see it too. I hardly take out the R34, she means way too much to me to take her out a lot. Mostly I use her when the Z is down or if there's a lot of new comers at the races, I'd have had her last night but I wasn't expecting any new Americans there and the Z needed to go out after her paint job." She smiled

Cole laughed. "Only problem with paint jobs is that you can hardly race the car for fear of a rock chip." Cole couldn't believe she did all this stuff herself, he didn't know of a single racer who worked on this many cars all themselves. It gave a Cole a high level of respect for Bayleigh. "By the way, you haven't found any silvias have you?"

BayLeigh smiled, "Thats part of why I worked to get my own paint shop, I can easily fix any rock chips. I also bought the Skyline crossover, not just for my love of the Skyline brand but its what I drive daily, so none of my actual cars have to deal with the damages and wear and tear of daily driving." She walked over to the cars. "I found a few, there's one at one of the Nissan lots, the sales man doesn't know much about them though, so I need to go look at it. There's a few in other cities too. I told you I'd look for one and I will, besides, if we're going to fix that scratch you need something so the paint can dry." She grinned.

"Well I see a lot of drift competitions as well as straight up races. I need a rear wheel drive car to participate in drifting, and the silvia is a good choice I think." Cole shrugged. "Trouble is, I have hardly any money right now, so I need to earn some before I can even think about it." Cole walked around a little and checked out the G35. "Do you drift at all?" He looked over at Bayleigh.

Bayleigh smiled, "It'll be fine, I can cover the car for now. Your friend wouldn't even admit to me who he was, so I think racing should be on the low for you for now." She watches as he was at the G35. "That one doesn't do anything, not here anyway, I take it to the states with me when I go. I drift sometimes, not a lot. I don't like it as much, too many tires get ruined quick. I like the straight races. The R34 is actually all wheel drive." She walked over to the G35 and opened it, popping the hood. "This is the only car of mine that's street legal in the States."

Cole huffed. "Racing is the only reason I'm still sane right now." The thought of Brian brought back several bad memories from that night. "I don't want to be in any debt to you, so I'll wait till I have the cash." He looked under the hood of the G35, it almost looked like a VQ37 engine swap, but he wasn't sure. "I didn't know street legality matter with what we do." He laughed. "Speaking of the States, why are you in Tokyo? Work?"

BayLeigh laughed, " Thats all up to you, I'll get one through a lot though, that way my discount applies to it, they tend to ask too much for older cars. Street legality doesn't matter, but when you're on a list in the states, you need a car that doesn't stand out, which is why this is the only car of mine with a solid color paint job, as well as a light mod to it, unlike the rest." She smiled as she walked around the car, " I... I had an accident back in the states, it kinda changed my whole life. Before the accident I always dreamed of coming to Tokyo, I just got caught up in life and never made it. When it came time to rebuilding my life, I took that as a sign to come here. And five years later, I have a great job at Nissan and I love living here." She looked at her other cars, remember the accident like it was yesterday.

Cole thought it was interesting and surprising that any American would want to live here. He figured she must have some bad memories from the States and wanted to completely start over. "To be honest, I don't understand why anybody would want to live here. Too crowded, everyone speaks Japanese, and I swear there was a toenail in my food the other day." He laughed.

BayLeigh laughed, "A lot of people say that, I think its much better here than the States. It didn't take me long to learn the language, and sometimes I enjoy not speaking in English. I'm just weird, I would have to find some really good reason to ever go back, and it definitely will not be where I'm from. As for food, you have to know where to go, some places aren't very clean." She smiled.

Cole shook his head and smiled. "Weird, adventurous, or crazy, I haven't decided yet." He walked back over to the skyline, still in disbelief at all the cars she had in her backyard. "So why do you race? You're an engineer, someone who has their life together, why risk it all?"

BayLeigh watched him, "Whats the point in life if there's no fun? I love what I do, I really do, but if one day I did get caught, I'd give up what I do here. I've given up my life once, and even though that wasn't fully by choice, I'm sure I can do it again. I'm not me unless I'm out there on the roads, or working on my cars. And I don't really have anyone special to share anything with, so out there I feel at home the most."

Cole nodded. "That's pretty much the exact way I feel. I used to race legally, and when that caved in, I turned to street racing." He turned around to face Bayleigh. "I'm not sure it's a good thing, in fact I know it's not, but I can't stop. There's nothing else I want to do. It alienates you from most of the world though." He starting thinking about how much of a mess his life was right now, sometimes he wished his professional career took off.
