The last couple days had been a total rollercoaster for Cole, and even that was an understatement. From the cursed hospital to meeting Han and the "surprises" that occured there. The next day, Cole finally had the opportunity to think about what he's next move was. The reality of the fact was that he knew absolutely nothing about the man that framed Brian and ultimately was responsible for this mess. No matter what he did himself, it would be quite futile for him if Walter was never found. With all this in mind, Cole decided that it would be foolish for him to distance himself from Brian, at least for now, so he found Brian's number on his phone and left a message. "Brian, it's Cole. We need to talk."

After their last meeting Brian didn't expect a call from Cole so he was more than surprised when he came back from the bathroom and saw that there was a message on his mailbox.
Only half an hour later he got off the bus and walked to the destination that Cole had told him. Brian wasn't in the best of moods with Mira still in the hospital and under her fathers care and Walter on the run. Casting a glance at his watch he waited for Cole to show up at the park.

Cole was regretting meeting at the park. It meant walking a fair distance, which wasn't settling well with his breathing capacities, which seemed to be getting progressively worse instead of better. Finally he saw Brian looking a little ansty on a park bench, and once he reached him he was completely out of energy. "Honestly I'm....surprised..you show..ed." He tried to get out between oxygen intakes. He sat down on the grass, doing his best to relax himself.

The sight of Cole made Brian feel aweful. Not only did the guy have dark circles under his eyes and walk like an old man but was obviously still battling with his injuries.
"Yeah, me too." He admitted. "How are you doing? I was worried you'd wind up dead in some dark street."

Cole was glad Brian's attitude had changed since last time, he was in no condition to put up another hissy fit. Once he regained his normal breathing patterns, he stated. "Physically, terrible. But I'm glad that I simply have the ability to live without any life support...yet." He sighed, he really hated been ill. It meant he was forced out of the drivers seat. "I probably would be dead in some dark street if it weren't for the convience of an old friend living in Tokyo." Cole then realized that Brian was somehow a free man. "You know, it may not be a great idea for us to be in public, we've got this Hobbs guy on us who I heard is the best guy money can hire."

Cole's state was more than concerning. His breathing was wheezy and sounded more like gasping for air than anything. At least there was somebody here to look after him-probably the person who helped him leaver the hospital. "Listen, Cole. I'm really sorry. I feel horrible because of the shape you're in."
Then Coles words hit home. "What do you mean...money can buy? he's a federal agent. He gave me until the weekend to find walter...so if you need to go to a hospital do it before then."

Cole grinned a little. "Eh, I'm the one who was at the wheel of a car that flew off a cliff, so my condition is either my fault or the shitbags that shot at me. Either way, it ain't your fault." He paused again for a little bit to regain air. "Wait, you mean you and Hobbs have actually met?" Apparently, Brian had adventures of his own the last few days.

The fact that Cole blamed himself for the crash took a bit of the weight of Brian's shoulders. He still knew that Cole wouldn't be in Tokyo if it wasn't for him.
brian sat down next to Cole and ran his fingers over the green grass. "Yeah, we've met...well he chased me down the hallway but eventually decided to give me a short time period to capture this shitbag before he throws me in prison. He's with Mira now. Keeping an eye on her....so what did you mean by that money line. Are you saying he's not here on behlf of our government?" That would be exactly what Walter was claiming.

Cole was very surprised Brian managed to make a deal with this Hobbs. Generally big cops like that just catch the suspect and put them away. "I'm just going off from what I heard at the hospital. They said something like he was an agent with a special skill set that the U.S govenment hires to track down international fugitives. I don't know if that means he's a bounty hunter or anything, but either way, you lucked out that he's even giving you a chance." He sighed. "I hope you have some leads on Walter."

"Yeah, I'm one hell of a lucky bastard." Brian frowned. "If I find Walter and bring him in both of you are probably off the hook as well. I don't think Hobbs has much interest in you if he catch the big bad guy. So keep your fingers crossed. The clock is ticking." Brian stood up because he needed to do everything he could to catch Walter rather than sit in a park and chat. "You should see a doctor again as long as Hobbs is holding off. Are you going to be okay?"

"As long as he hasn't looked too hard into my record." Cole sagged his shoulders. "I'll be fine, I'll get a diagnosis from another, smaller hospital. That major one was terrible, I'd rather live with this then go back there." Cole also eased himself up. "If there's anything you need, I am available, I've got resources. And even if I do go back to a hospital, I have no intentions of staying long."

Brian was happy that Cole didn't harbour any hard feelings but offered his help instead so he clapped him on the shoulder. "Thank you and I just want to say...I'm sorry. I was overreacting and worried and ...sorry." He nodded at the young man in front of him hoping he'd be alright soon because right now things didn't look to good for him. "I can only tell you to use those resources to hide you somewhere far away if I don't have Walter by the weekend."

"We're all under a shitload of stress. It happens." He nodded, almost surprised at himself at how lightly he was suddenly taking the incident with Brian. With Brian's last statement, the energy in his voice picked up a little. "Man, it's gonna be hard for you to capture this guy by yourself. I'd think about getting some kind of help if I were you, beyond just Mira and I." Cole turned back towards the sidewalk and started moving towards it. "I'd rather spend 10 years in prison than 70 years on the run. Either we do this or we don't, I ain't hiding either way."
