Absentmindedly Brian was stirring the sugar in his coffee way past the point that it dissolved. He was staring out at the street and cars passing by while people behind him were waiting to get to the milk and sugar or the Starbucks as well. The place was busy and a guy behind was tapping his foot nervously and then squeezing around him to add some sweet N low to his decaf cappuchino.
Brian was thinking about Jack and when he would most likely hit the impound. The question that made him sway back and forth was whether and how much he should help his brother or whether he'd screw himself over for good.

Honey walked into the Starbucks and ordered a Grande Blended Caramel Frappe and paid for it then looked around for a place to sit, Noting the many full tables, then noting Brian at one. She smiled and saw him watching the cars and wondered why he would do so, She got her Coffee when it was ready and walked over to Brian's Table, "Do you mind if I join you?" She asked him curious to what his answer might be.

Brian looked up at her and recognised the woman he had met a few weeks ago at her pub. "Hey." He put a smile on his face and motioned for one of the chairs. "Go ahead. How 's the arm?" He wondered. It wasn't in a cast anymore. Had it really been that long? Work and Jack surely had kept him busy. Again he stirred his coffee and blew on it making small clouds of steam travel away from his cup.

It was one of those days, from working an actual case and doing good, to fetching the paper work and the coffee for the office. She didn’t mind it was a part of the learning curve and if she got where she wanted to be it would be her telling someone to go fetch coffee, but it reminded her to much of the café and she hated that place more then freaking anything.
The line was huge and she had to get back across town, it was more then irritating, with a huff she tugged locks of hair behind her ear and waited for her turn. She was repeating the list over and over again so she didn’t forget anything, so when she was up her order fell from her lips in a perfectly bored tone.
Letting out a breath she paid and balanced the tray of drinks, trying not to spill anything while she moved through the people. Dark eyes landed on a familiar figure and she stopped short, brow raising at the company he was keeping…girlfriend perhaps, shrugging she continued her path to the exit. The last thing she wanted was to run into Brian O’Conner.

Honey took the offered seat and smiled. "My arm's doing Great, The club's up and running again, You can come up when your free" She said smiling happily as she sipped at her Frappe. "I was smart, one of the guys fixed the lights and one of the other guys spotted him, We don't want to close down again because another of our people has gotten injured. Which they haven't." She said and scanned the packed coffeehouse. "This place sure is Popular, How're you doing?" She asked him.

Brian listened to her with one ear while he was sipping his coffee. He offered her a smile."It's good you're back on track. Hey, I'm sorry I haven't come by any more. I've been doing night shifts and slept during the day mostly and my brother recently showed up....haven't seen him in ages." Again he took a sip of the steaming hot brew when his eyes fell on a woman behind honey. Not too far away Jack's girlfriend was looking at him. Brian stared at her for a second and then nodded. "Faye." At least he could try to treat her as if he liked her/knew her. After all she was Jack's girlfriend even though she was a bitch.

"Well it's alright by me, and If you get the chance you can bring your brother by, I'd like to meet him." She said smiling as she sipped her coffee and watched Brian interact with a girl that didn't look to nice. Though she knew it had nothing to do with her. She looked out at the cars on the street and watched them interact. "Maybe we can catch up again some time, I'd love to see you come by the club during daylight hours" She said smiling as she stood up after squeezing his arm affectionately and walking away.

Faye licked her lips, apparently Brian had spotted her, with a slightly furrowed brow she checked her watch then back up to Brian in time to see the woman that had been sat with him, licking her lips she rose a brow watching her leave before turning to Brian, moving towards him. With a smile she lowered herself into the now vacant seat.
“Look er, I think we…okay I think I got of onto the wrong foot” She offered him a wide smile, the last thing she wanted was Jack’s brother to hate her, because she had a thing against cops and them being useless.
Swallowing she brushed a hand through her hair, dark eyes sparking, “I mean im not exactly that horrible, so yea, im sorry” She smiled, nodding her head as she looked up at him, the four coffees steaming in front of her.

"Okay, I'll come by." Brian promised. He would soon. His hand brushed lightly against hers when she left. There was something about her that Brian found very attractive. She was plain hot.
At first Brian wasn't too happy about Faye sitting down. She's durely give him another earful. But against his expectations she actually apologized and made an effort to be nice.
Brian gave her a genuine smile and nodded. "Apology accepted. And yes, you came off pretty..." He held his flat hand out and shook it instead of putting it in words. Another sip of his coffee gave him time to think about what he should say to her. "I'm actually not that bad, you know, despite being a cop." Now he had to adress the sore subject. "I never meant to get your brother in trouble. I was sent in there but I was convinced that Dom and his crew were innocent. So I'm sorry for getting him in trouble, he's a nice guy. But if I hadn't done it somebody else would have." That was all she was going to get from him.
"So who's the coffee for or are you a coffee addict?"

Faye laugh, she didn’t need him to tell her how she had come of, she knew exactly how bitchy she had come of, and in some ways he had deserved it. Licking her lips she let out a breath, her dark eyes sparkling. She laughed softly at his words, not that bad, oh she’d be the judge of that. Letting out a breath she sighed softly, brushing a hand through her hair.
Swallowing she let out a breath she lowered her gaze, dark eyes sparkling as she listened to his words, “Lee never blamed you” She stated finally looking up to meeting his gaze. Looking around she turned her gaze back towards him again, a tight smile following before laughing.
“Work” She stated “they have me going from cases to coffee runs” Letting out a breath she looked up at him, “speaking of which I should go” She smiled pushing herself away from the table so she could stand and leave.

"If he never blamed me, then why do you?" It was ab legit question. She probably blamed him because she didn't want to blame her brother.
Brian watched her stand with a bit of relief. This way the conversation would stay short and at least a little friendly. "I'll see you around." 'whether you like it or not'. He managed another smile and got up as well. "Yeah, I should get back to playing cops and robbers as well." How ironical.
