Walter slammed into the wall tracking water and blood from his car up into the walkway. He had been shot worse in the past but this was still pretty bad he thought to himself as he pushed the door open. "Letty, need my first aid kit. It's in my backpack!" He shouted as he slid across the wall into the kitchen feeling a bit woozy.
Deftly he tore through the cabnets looking for anything to stem the blood flow for the time being. His hand fell on celephane wrap, it would have to do. He grabbed the plastic paper and rolled it around his shoulder then began to use tape to hold it in place. Freaking cop's, but what did he expect to happen, you don't walk into the lion's den and piss him off without any consiquences but then again everything comes with a price right?
"Letty you here?!" He shouted as he slid down the wall into a sitting position trying to catch his breath.

Letty heard the door slam, and then she heard Walter yelling downstairs. She caught something about his first aid kit.
Scrambling of the bed, she ran into his room."What in the hell?" She had no idea where he had gone; she started searching through his backpack before emptying the contents and finally locating the first aid kit. Letty took the stairs two at a time finding Walter sitting on the floor in the kitchen trying to hold himself together with cellophane wrap.
"Shit," she cursed under her breath dropping down on the floor beside him. He was wounded pretty badly and bleeding out on the kitchen floor. She was no expert but she had learned a few things from Mia about gunshot victims.
"What the hell happened to you man," she needed something to stop the blood flow cellophane wasn't working. "Hold on lemme grab a towel I gotta stop the bleeding, who did this to you?" she demanded.

"I had a job to do." He smiled, letting his eyes close and focusing on counting to stay awake. "Guess, taking a pot shot at Brian's girlfriend was a bit presumptious even if I did aim for the vest." He chuckled, "Brian has pretty good shot, maxed out the range on that pistol in the water. I need to remember to get into the FBI's handgun class." He could feel his body starting to shiver and clenched his teeth against the woozyness starting to consume his mind.

"Brian shot you?" Letty bit her lip pressing the towel to his wound. "Sorry," she apologized looking in and feeling around the gunshot wound to make sure that the bullet wasn't still in there. It wasn't which was a good sign, she didn't want to have to cause him any more agony than what was necessary.
"It's bad, but you'll live, I'm gonna have to lay you out on the couch and have my way with you," she gave him a slight grin stooping down to his level put his arm around her shoulder and braced him against her easing him off the floor. "Stay with me man, can't pass out on me yet."
Letty managed to get him over to the couch, and she ripped off his already destroyed shirt. Walter winced against the sting of alcohol, but by the time she patched him up he seemed to far gone to even notice what she was doing. She wiped his forehead with a wet cloth, "Almost done..."

"No worries." He smiled behind closed eyes. "I'm used to letting the woman finish first." He chuckled continueing her joke. He knew he was a minute late on it but at least he'd be around to be embarressed by it later. "Message had to be delivered to him to stay off these guy's path, he isn't going to listen so I gave him some motivation to try harder to get them." He forced his eyes open and regreted it imediately. Between the blood loss and bright lights he was suddenly very dizzy.

Letty laughed, it was good that he still had enough energy to joke with her.
"Shhh don't worry bout it, you can tell me all about your wild adventures once you get some rest."
She got up from the floor, packing up the first aid kit then went back upstairs and grabbed the sheet off of Walters bed. By the time she came back downstairs he was asleep. A thin sheen of sweat on his forehead. She covered his legs with the sheet, and checked his bandages; she would change them when he got up.
Letty had to admit that she was a bit pissed to find out that it was Brian that shot at Walter. She had a soft spot for the man that saved her life, something that she hadn't felt since she'd been with Dom. She shook the thoughts of Dom and the past out of her head and sat down at the foot of the couch turning on the T.V letting Walter rest.

Walter's eyes shot open as soon as the mid-day sunlight hit him. He took the scene in and rocked himself to a seating position, Letty had fallen asleep and he took care to move softly onto the ground. Propping himself against the couch he moved to the kitchen and made some quick oatmeal before heading upstairs to the shower. He needed to clean himself off and then get to work on the trail he'd left outside. The cops would be by today and he didn't need a bright...well dark red trail leading to him. He ate as the water began to run. Careful of the wound he showered and then cleaned his arm. After rewrapping it he made his way to the closet and began pulling chemicals out. Bleach and water then some epson salt would do the trick.

Letty opened her eyes reluctantly to the sound of running water. She had fallen asleep on the couch, when she remembered Joker and his gunshot wounds. He was no longer asleep on the couch where she left him and she could hear movement upstairs, she wondered how he was feeling with his injury. Letty got up from the couch and started up the stairs, where she found him rummaging in the closet with cleaning products.
She cleared her throat loudly to get his attention, "What exactly are you doing, might I ask?" she said folding her arms and leaning against the railing.

"I wasn't exactly subtle last night." He began pouring the water and chemicals together and lifted the bucket with his good arm. Carefully he rested the other on her hip for a second and looked into her eyes. "Thanks for patching me up." He kissed her forehead and continued his path to the door. It felt good living with someone again regardless of the situation but once again he was in that torrent of chaos he was in with Faye. Maybe if he went into hiding after this job he could live off the radar with her for a bit. He shook the thought out of his mind and began scrubbing at the blood stains outside. Dip, drench, scrub, rinse...simple easy to repeat and fast. It wouldn't take long before the job was done. L

Letty felt the heat rise in her cheeks. It was such a simple gesture, but one that she hadn't felt in a long while. Since the last time she had seen Dom she hadn't been with a man. She had been so concentrated on doing everything in her power to clear his name, and for what, he was in prison, and for all he knew she was dead.
Joker was down on his hands and knees scrubbing the bloodstains off the floor, and as she watched him she felt something tug at her heart. She felt something, but she wasn't sure what it meant. The smell of the bleach stung her nose bringing her out of her trance.
"Do you want some help, or should I see what I can scavenge up for dinner?"

Walter paused for a moment to think and then looked up at her. "I have some leather cleaner in my room. I can finish up the walkway if you can get my car. The driver seat has got to look like crap." His stone like face formed into a smile as he looked at her. "Don't worry, we can figure out food later."

Letty nodded and went into Walter's room to search for the cleaner. She passed Walter still scrubbing in the hall. "I'll be in the car if you need me," she smiled grabbing an old towel from the closet and headed outside.
The car was just as he bad described, "Shit man, Brian wasn't kidding around..." The entire drivers seat was covered in blood, already drying in some places, the majority on the back of the seat. Letty sprayed the seat, and started to wipe it down. It was really good stuff he had, but she couldn't help thinking that all that blood had to be bad for the leather.

When he was finally content with the cleansing Walter made his way to the car. Silently he stood.behind Letty as she cleaned. After a moment he smiled and coughed letting her know he was there. He made his way up to her and grabbed her by the waist, gently pulling her from from the car. "You know how irresistable a girl that knows her way around a car can be?"
