BayLeigh sat in a little coffee shop. Her laptop open and a cup of coffee next to it. The sun was rising and she just finished skyping with people from Japan that she was really close to. She sighed as she watched the few cars pass. After the cops the other night she had found a paintshop and had both of her cars painted something new. The GTR an midnight blue and the G a bright orange with silver designs.

She opened her program to work on some designs for work. The auto show here wasn't till November. She followed the Paris one and loved what she saw. As much as she hated being back here she was excited to present the cars, and she found Cole again.

Joker stepped out of his metallic forest green Aston Martin Vanguard then took a minute to adjust his tie using the reflection off the glass. The well tailored suit fit him perfectly making him look like how he felt...like a slime ball. He had a bad taste in his mouth and hand been on the run for a while now after ditching Brian with the muscle in Japan. "Sicily," He muttered, it was a great stop and ironic to boot. Having a suit made for a criminal on an island known for having criminal heritage run, no gallop, in their blood lines. He felt great being back on U.S. soil though, he only had to scrub four of his alias to get back here. He rang the bell at the counter looking around, this place was more dead then his social life with the exception of the young woman on her computer. "Slow day isn't it..." He smiled charmingly.

Mornings, Stephano's least favorite part of the day. Unpleasantly he drove to a nearby coffee shop. It wasn't out of his routine to do this, wishing not to wake his wife for trival matters such as this, he needed another outlet to wake him fully and prepare him for the day. Checking the dashbaord clock it read 5:30 AM. "What an awful hour!" he goarned as he contined slowly down the road. Finally making his way to the coffee shop he pulled alongside the curb and checked his surroundings. There was really nothing out of the ordinary except the extremely nice sports car parked on the other side of the street. Thinking to himself. "What the hell is a car like that doing here, this place's coffee isn't even that good. This guys got some strange taste then to come out here." Dismissing the thought, believing to himself that he was more groggy than he expected and despartly needed the coffee for than ever. Rubbing his eyes and letting out a yawn Stephano turned off the engine and opened the car door. Landing his feet on the pavement and advancing to the door of the coffee shop Stephano triedly marched.

Entering the building he was surprised. For one of the first times he was out dressed by someone. His black dress pants, white button down and black vest were outclassed by the full suit worn by a man standing over a woman at a laptop. Assuming he owned the car out front Stephano tried to peice something together but was halted by his lack of concesness. Walking towards the counter Stephano order an all black coffee. Paying the cashier he sat down at a nearby empty table and slowly awoke to the cup of that warm beverage in his hands.

BayLeigh took of her coffee as she looked up at the man. "Last I remember not much of this side of the city is up this early. It'll pick up later. I quite enjoy it like this," she nodded to her computer, " I get more work done this early." She looked around curious as to who this man was. As she looked around she noticed another stranger. She smiled as she wondered if either are linking her to the car out front. She has decide to bring the GTR out this morning since she showed off the new paint job on Skype, she had showed off the G yesterday. As much as she hid it she found it ironic that after weeks of coming here at 3 a.m. To do work and Skype, today would be the day people show. "Might I ask your name." She looked at the gentleman that had spoken to her.

"My name? Joe Mcleod." He used his newest alias in case anyone actually knew him, his smile didn't fade or shake as he ordered a small cup of extra strong columbian and slid into the seat across from her. "I hope you don't mind," It was in his nature now to take control of situations and with a woman this pretty he was going to at least try to reign it into the 'friendly' neighborhood of things. "Is that your car out there, I love the bodywork and I'm going to assume the paint's somewhat fresh too. Hasn't had the chance to fade at all or you just keep it under a dust cover."

BayLeigh smiled, "Nice to meet you Joe, Most call me Bay. " She looked outside and nodded," yes that would be my car. A little of both, I baby my cars. But yes the paint is fresh, got bored with the old color so thought I'd change it and come up with new designs for her." She closed out of some of her programs and loaded some others. She tried to find info on this man, after all, it's been so long since she's been in this city she had no idea who to trust and who not to. She smiled as she watched him, unsure of things at the moment.

"Good choice in color. Compliments it well enough. Sometimes you see a car that just gives you that bad taste in your mouth. If I see one more lime green Camero I'm probably going to puke." He chuckled, "You race?" He blew a light breath over the coffee to cool it before taking a sip. He had the distinct feeling that she was edgy about him, "Shame if it was just for looks."

BayLeigh nodded and chuckled lightly, " I hate the lime green Camaros. Or the bright blue Chargers." She eyed him for a minute trying to figure out if he was a cop or not. After some studying she figured she'd take the chance. " yes, I race her. Built her and my other car myself. She's unbeatable in Japan." She looked around then grabbed her coffee, finishing it off. She nodded towards the familiar waitress who came to fill the cup up.

As Manako walked into the kitchen he opened a cabinet to get some coffee and noticed he was out. "Well this is stupid" he said to himself "better go out and get some more." he grabbed his keys after changing clothes and hoped into his Skyline. He drove to the coffee shop he usually gets his coffee at and noticed a few cars sitting outside the shop which usually has zero to one car sitting outside. As he parked his car he revved it a little then turned it off. he then walked in grabbed a newspaper and waited to be served. A waitress walked up and asked "Hey Manako your usual Milky Way coffee?" Manako looked at the wairess and said "Hey, Emily, yes please." As he sat there waiting for the waitress to bring his coffee he looked across the room and noticed Bayleigh with another person across from her. He then gets up and walks over to her. "Hey, Bayleigh, How are you?" he asked while smiling.

Walter scooted over giving room for the new man to sit down. "Have a seat mate." He smiled wider and looked back outside. "You know, all it takes for failure is a bad day. No one says unbeatable without knowing at some point in time or another they were beaten. How long ago were you in Japan, might have seen you around." He hadn't had much time racing in Japan while he was on the run from Brian's built "ford" tough friend.

Bayleigh sighed as Manako came in, she smiled, "Hey Manako, I'm doing okay. How are you?" She then turned her attention to the man, "It took a while, beaten many times before I learned the ways and to build properly. I just got back from Japan a few months ago, I've been out there for years. I'm just here on business." She looked at him closely, wondering if she had seen him anywhere out there. She shook her head and looked at Manako, glad to have a familiar face, even if he wasn't going to be here long.

"Thank you very much." said Manako as he took a seat. As he sat down the Waitress walked over with his favorite flavored coffee. He then handed the Waitress $20 as tip like he usually does. As he held the coffee he then took a sip and hummed at the taste before saying "Man I love their Milky Way coffee." he then turned to the guy sitting next to him and asked "So whats your name good sir?"

After his second cup of coffee Stephano finally began to awaken. Looking up from the empty cup he spotted a farmiliar site, Mr. Sora. Watching from his corner table he watched Manako join the only two other people in the building. Taking care he tried to get Mr. Sora attention without raising questions to his motives from the others conversing with him.

BayLeigh laughed as she watched Manako sit down, "The milky way one is the best! Reminds me of my favorites back home." She smiled as she watched. She had hoped he knew Joe but apparently not. She saw the only other gentleman in the shop eyeing Manako. She grabbed her phone and opened it to a message typing, 'Do you know that man behind you?' She slide the phone to him and sipped her coffee.

Manako picked up the phone to look at the message. He then turned around and noticed Stephano looking at him. he turn around to look at Bayleigh and said Yeah i do would you excuse me please." then Manako gets up and walks over to Stephano and sits down "Hey boss whats up?"

As she grabbed her phone Bayleigh watched as Manako switched tables. She turned her attention back to the other gentlemen to not look like she was evesdropping. She was curious as to who he was though.

Walter looked over his shoulder and then back at Bay, "You don't often see a guy like that in a coffee shop like this do you? Guess he couldn't find a decent five hundred doller cup of joe." He chuckled at his own hypocricy, "But then again who am I to compare heh? So what is you do Bay? I mean aside from race, decent money in it but never really get enough to keep the cars running."

Bayleigh chucked, "Maybe he got lost on the way?" She looked down at her computer then back up debating on what to say, in the end she figured she'd just come out with it, if he looked over her shoulder he'd see what she does. "I work for Nissan, I'm an design engineer for them," She smiled as she looked at her current design for a future car. "Racing can be good, but in the end it's nice to have a job to do during the day, I don't race as much as I used to."

Cursing under his breath Stephano pulled Manako close to his face. Angerly he replied. "Mr. Sora I feel that you fail to understand that the actions of both of us are entirly illegal and by calling out ranks like that you relate the two us. Unless you wish to get arested I suggest you cease that at once." Releasing his hold on the man, Manako retracted to his side of the table. Stephano then spoke again. "Now with that out of the way who are those people? Make it fast, no need to draw anymore attention to the situation."

Walter caught the reflection of the small exchange taking place behind him and dropped his hands to his waist. "Looks like your friend might be getting chewed out." He chuckled and sipped on his coffee some more. "I agree though, it's good having a job outside of racing but sometimes it's not nearly as fun. Are there any open tracks around here?"
