Well, here he was, home. How foreign the feeling felt to Dom was just shocking. He paced around the house most of the day, revisiting rooms that he was all too familiar with years ago, but now were reincarnated memories. Everything, the walls, chairs, layout, garage, even to some degree his sister's face. It was like a lost life to him that came, and frankly, it was.
If only this was so easy. The road Mia took to get him out was not at all what he meant when he said "be smart." Her actions were the opposite of smart, and now the cloud loomed overhead as to what was required of her - or him, to repay this debt. Part of him wanted to tough lash Mia for even considering such methods, but reality was that he owed her for such a seemingly unselfish act, and one that he undeniably was grateful for. How did he talk to Mia about this? He sat motionless at the kitchen table pondering that thought.

She felt beyond happy to finally have him home regardless of her actions. He looked shocked in her eyes he was a child looking for his mom inside a grocery store. Was he going to yell at her? What could be going through his mind?
After taking a quick shower and changing she got out of her room and knock next door, when she open the door he wasn't on his bed, she close the door slowly and walked downstairs ad she found him in one of the chairs with his elbows on the table.
She kissed the top of his head bringing him back to the present. "What would you like to eat for dinner?" she sat next to him, mimicking his action of placing her elbows on the table.

Dom continued to be motionless even as Mia entered. Great, now the time had come. She was practically face to face with him. He could tell she knew something was bothering him, and she probably knew what it was. "Tell me about this mobster who got me out." He said quite monotone. He knew the name from when he was associated with their father, but it had been so long, he barely remembered anything about anyone he wasn't close with.

She took a deep breathe before starting to tell him the whole story. "Stephano Dieseli, Do you remember dad helping me with my homework every night? He used to stay up at night to read the next chapter," she chuckle at the memory. "I was so impressed with him learning so quick than the next day he was the one teaching so much better than Mr. Richardson,"
"Stephano or 'uncle Stephano' how I call him had a great relationship with dad, they were buddies and I remember Stephano always talking with dad," How much of Tokyo could she reveal to her brother?
"When I got back from Tokyo and since that day I talked to you over the phone, I knew I had to get you out of there. You are the only family I have and if that means we have to run from the law forever so be it,"
She didn't know how he was going to react once she finished her short story. "So after that phone call I took the Charger and drove to the 'Luna Azure' I knew he was going to be there so I ask for his help and he agreed and what he does...well you already know... I know what you are going to say, that I should have walk away and wait for you to get out but I couldn't Dom, the house was so dead until now that you're here, I can breath better, I can go to bed knowing my brother is next room, I can now come home and cook as I used to when the other boys were around, simple things that were hard to do are now so much easier,"
She finish talking realizing there was one person she didn't mention and even if she tried to avoid the ex-cop name coming out of her lips.... Dom was going to ask about him, it was just a matter of seconds.

Dom grinned at Mia's account of their father. Those were the days...long gone now. That grin faded a little when she explained the relationship dad and Stephano had. His father was best friends with the mob? How did she know this and he didn't? Or did he simply forget?
As if there already weren't enough questions, she talked about Tokyo, not having any family, and why did she not even mention Brian?. "Tokyo? What were you doing in Tokyo?" He got the sense that something was very wrong, she talked like he was her savior, and although he knew that they had always leaned on each other, it wasn't like he was the only person she ever had. "How've you and Brian been?" He asked with a little suspicion in his voice.

There was no place for her to run this time... "Brian... hmm... I suppose he's fine with his girlfriend soon to be mother of his child,"
"...and about Tokyo... forget it" She stood up from the table shuttng down completely to Dom. Not wanting to remember everything that happen in Tokyo and the conversation she had with Brian? No, she would't go there.
"You didn't answer my question. Why would you like to have for dinner?" She look in the fridge to see what she had to cook.

Dom's expressionless face suddenly grew an expression when Mia described their relationship...which was apparently nonexistent. He remembered something about Brian last they had talked on the phone while he was in jail. Whatever it was, Brian was going to hear about this from him.
"You've never kept any secrets from me, why start now?" Dom stated about Tokyo, ignoring dinner for the second time. Mia had demons she needed to take care of, things he needed to know about.

"What's the point of telling you all that happen when bottom line is: I'm not with Brian anymore," She calmly let him know what she thought in that moment.
"Please, Dominic... not tonight," she begged him not wanting to talk about anything that involved Brian and since he didn't suggest what he wanted to eat, she started to cook something quick, making herself busy so he wouldn't start asking more questions.

Dom sighed, he hated it when his sister acted like this. Whatever it was though, he could see that she was deeply troubled about it, so he let it go for her benefit. One thing he had to know however, was were everybody was. "Where is everyone? Vince? Brian? They here?" Dom knew that Mia probably didn't really want to answer that, but he needed to know where his buds were.

"I don't know where Vince is... Brian is here in California, don't know where he lives and don't care one bit," She simply said washing her hands and turning off the stove.
"Dinner's ready. I'm going to bed," kissing his cheek. "Good night," she hurried upstairs to her room, her head hurting. She didn't even bother to take something to ease the pain, but one thing she knew: this wasn't the way she pictured the day to be.
