DREW CORBAIN

32. ANDREAS CREW. To be honest, I don't give a shit Character full name: Andrew Corbain Age: 32 Gender: Male Sexuality: Straight APPEARANCE: Drew isn't necessarily a very tall guy, he only stands at a broad 5'9" but what he lacks in height he makes up in brute strength. He is extremely strong, very well built with a lot of power in his small frame. His dark hair is kept buzzed short, on the occasion he doesn't feel like trimming up he lets it grow out but not very long at all. Rarely, if ever, does he have much more than some stubble or five o'clock shadow. It's all about appearances with this guy. Add on the extensive tattoos he has on his body, and he's your regular old hardass. His tattoos are: A Union Jack on his left upper chest, in honor of his mothers family who hailed from South Wales. A large, intricate tribal design on his right shoulder and upper arm. 'Smile Now, Cry Later' in script around two acting styled masks. A graffiti-styled tattoo on his left shoulder A woman holding a child on his left shoulder PERSONALITY: Oh boy.Well. Drew is a rather inward individual. He's not shy in any way, Drew just chooses to keep quiet and observe. Talking was never a strong suit of his, he prefers to not interact because people are annoying anyway. And he's not necessarily a nice guy to begin with. Drew isn't going to go out of his way to let you through, won't hold the door(unless it's a little kid, then maybe he will), he's not going to say please and occasionally he'll say thank you. He's just a class A asshole. Those in his crew know how he is and they tolerate his bullshit, hell he's even found some friends within the Andreas crew. If he considers you a friend, and you consider him a friend, you've somehow put up with one anothers crap, mainly you've put up with him. Anyone who gets past all of his crap knows that Drew does have a heart. It may be hard, a little poisonous, but it's there. Only those very special to him(-cough-Lexi-cough-) really see that tiny piece of his heart that still functions. He's one of those people who prefers to use his head over his heart, comes with the massive amount of MMA training he has under his belt, and his head has never led him wrong. HISTORY: Drew grew up in a rather rough and tough family. His father was rather involved with the Italian mob, specifically the LoScalza faction of the gang in Florida, which naturally would drag Drew into it as well. His brother Reed wasn't too terribly involved with it so that left Drew to fill in where big brother left out. Around the age of ten he found the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, previously known as 'Cage Fighting', and immediately fell in love. The sport gave him a way to channel his anger and frustrations that came along with living in a mob family. It would seem that being in a mob family with the status his dad had would be easy, but when you're in your very early teens and you have to do all of these things you don't want to do you get stressed out. It started out small, pick pocketing, running important errands to other family households, learning to hold, carry, and shoot a loaded handgun. By the time he was sixteen, he was boosting cars, running 'missions' and helping 'clean up'. That was a pretty gross thing to learn but it came with the life. Just because his father was a well known mobster didn't mean he was allowed to waltz in and do whatever he wished. Oh no. Drew had to work his ass off to build up what he eventually had, becoming a shot caller wasn't easy. Spending a few years on the clean up crew took its toll on him, mentally and physically. There were only so many pieces of grey matter one could pick up before they lost their mind a little bit. Nightmares plagued him for the longest time, replaying scenes over and over again that haunt him even to this day. And then he met Alexis. This girl was the first woman to walk into his life that made him actually stop short of breathing and look. The girl was simply stunning, and as soon as he built up the confidence to speak to her, he was completely in love with her. Alexis was the light in his rather dark world, until his family stepped in. You see, Drew's 'family' didn't appreciate nor like Alexis' 'family' and tried to break the pair up. That simply wasn't going to happen. Eventually, the couple eloped in secret and the families weren't necessarily notified until it was far too late. Life began to even out, it started to look up, until Drew was arrested. Drew had begun to run an underground fighting league that in the lovely state of Florida was illegal. Illegal betting, fighting, people being beaten to a pulp since gloves weren't allowed, along with illegal sales of alcohol finally led to a major bust. While awaiting arraignment, charges of boosting and sales of illegal car parts and a few other trivial, well trivial to the family, charges were racked up and Drew was sent away. One visit, that was all he got from his beloved Alexis before he was told she disappeared. All he had left of her were pictures, his wedding ring, one of her rings, and a few notes and letters he had saved before going to jail. That sentence was painful, and when Drew was finally released, he left the States to find a new life Sans mob. Ending up in Monte Carlo led him to joining a local racing crew that went beyond racing to earn cash. Drew hadn't been too into racing cars back home, he hadn't exactly had the time, but now that he did he wasn't going to give it up. EXTRA INFORMATION: MOUSE. EASTERN US. TOM HARDY |
