Rome looked around the location Brian had scouted, seeing it the way it was going to be, after extensive discussion with the boys, and smiled. It was really going to work out. And with the money from Roman's, it would be a cinch to get it up to being the newest in the city. It wouldn't be competition for D.T.'s, because that was on a whole other level.
This was going to be awesome.

Brian stepped up behind him. He could clearly tell by Rome's expression that he was digging the idea of opening a shop here. He tackled his friend from behind and said. "Don't even pretend you don't like it. I can read you like a book with my eyes closed."

"Man, shut up. Start-up's gonna be a bitch. Prolly not as much as the theatre, but a bitch all the same. I'm not frontin' all that," he warned, trying to sound like he was mad, when he wanted to go to the bank and start the paperwork.

Brian rolled his neck. This wasn't the answer he wanted to hear. He sighed. "My bank account is pretty empty since my last pay check came in 3 months ago." He ran a hand through his pretty long, wavy hair. Ever since the jail head shave he had refused to cut his hair. "Looks like we have to win some races!"

"Man, you're forgettin'. Tej was very generous. With both ofus. Hasn't it hit your account yet?" He'd gotten his share a few days ago; unless the account information he'd stolen off Brian's computer was wrong... "You DO do internet banking, don't you?" If he didn't, then the money went somewhere strange, and that wasn't good.

"No, I don't." brian stated. "I'm kinda old fashioned. I simply assumed that since the FBI gave me the boot I have no money in the bank. I didn't even remember Tej." A grin spread on his face. "What kind of money are we talking about here?"

"A lot... But I need you to talk to the bank and find out if the money ifs in your account. If it isn't, then I just gave the money to whoever used your laptop to do their banking. But I'd say it's about 50,00 after taxes and such."

The thought of that kind of money dissapearing made Brian very uneasy. Nervously he grabbed his friend's arm and dragged him along. "I'm going to a bank now." With a few steps he was at the Skyline and urged Rome to get in. "C'mon, bro. There's no joking around with that kind of money. If it's in my account I'm buying this damn lot!"

Brian didn't buy the lot but signed a rental contract after letting faye have a look at it. So a few days later Brian and Rome were at the soon to be garage hauling around old things. One by one they carried out old furniture and set it onto the sidewalk. Hopefully somebody would come and take some of it home. After a lunch brake at a sandwich shop nearby Brian headed back and found Rome snoozing on one of the sofas. He started setting up his own tools, a desk in the back and a computer. Rome soon joined in and helped. Now they had to wait for the bigger tools to get shipped over from Miami. It was pretty late when Brian slumped down on one of the old sofas outside.

Faye let out a tired sigh, she was actually glad her car made it this far, stepping out of it she headed over towards the newly rented garage. "Hey"She called out seeing Brian.
"Please tell me you can help"She pleaded as she looked at him "Shes like so broke"She laughed, as she folded her arms.

Brian spotted Faye's car from a distance. The rattling and squeeking was hard to miss. When she got out he straightened up and got up to hug her. "What's the matter? Oh, waht did you do to your poor baby?"

Brian popped the hood and stuck his head in. It didn't take ling until he said. "You timing belt is stipped. If you go any further and it slipps off you'll kill your engine. When do you need it. Is tomorrow woon enough if I give you a ride home?"

Rome walked in from the upstairs of the garage that they had decided would be a back office/ small repairs area, wiping his hands on a rag. He noticed Brian talking to Faye with her hood up and came over.
"I'm thinking I'm going to take a look at the fuses, too," he said, once he saw the problem for himself. "I'd say get another car, but oh well." He searched through his pockets and pulled out a set of keys. "My Monte Carlo's out back if you wanna borrow it. We do live in the same place after all... or we usually do at least." He cocked his head. "Should I move?"

Faye shifted her gaze over towards Rome and smiled, her hands looking down at the keys before nodding her head. "Thats actually really great" She smiled, keys jingling in her hands as she placed them into her pocket.
"Yea, wel hopefully couple of weeks i can buy one" She laughed, finally glad she had landed the job down at the law firm, flicking her gaze back over to Rome she shook her head.
"No, its really good haveing you their Rome"She gave him a bright smile, and it was, she didnt feel so alone with Rome there, and no Jack.

Christian pulled up to the small group of people standing in front of the auto shop. She was in her Nova; it wasn't having problems, she just wanted to show off. Immediately, she saw two people she had already ruined her relationship with: Brian and Faye. She sighed and climbed out of the car, anyway.
"Hey guys." She saw one guy she didn't know, so she extended her hand and said, "I'm Christian."
She faced Brian and said, "Word on the street is you've got your own shop now."

Brian wiped his hands on his old T-shirt and watched Rome and Faye's conversation. "You've been bunking with Faye?" He asked the obvious. Of course it meant, keep your hands off her. She's not one of your toys. But only Rome would understand the look Brian gave him. "Jack hasn't called, huh?" He brought up the sore subject. "A friend of mine checked out his plate and I think he'd going to Miami to get stuff for the shop from our old shop in Miami."
The roar of an engine gave away the arrival of another familiar face. When Brian recognised the car he exchanged a brief glance with Faye. Nevertheless he greeted Chris with a smile and said. "It's already the word on the street? Great. That'll bring in some business. I guess we'd better hurry up!"

"I've got connections, if you'd like me to hook you up." Christian smiled. "You need any employees? I'm sort of jobless at the moment..."
She laughed. She knew that they didn't exactly have the best friendship as of right now, but she hoped that maybe she could repair that. And she needed the money pretty badly.

Rome and Brian had already talked about this. "It really depends on whether this garage takes off or not. We might soon or maybe later. I'll let you know. What can you do? What qualifications do you have?" Brian wanted to add a little sarcasm and throw in 'the kind of services you've been providing so far might scare our cutomers off' but bit back the comment.
