The sun was barely breaking over the tops of the trees as the beautiful green eyed girl sat with her knees drawn to her chest on the park bench. She was sure Dom hated her, it was her fault Letty was gone. She'd stopped calling him Papa even in her own mind. She was supposed to be getting checked over by the doctor, supposed to be going for a scan.
All those things expectant mothers were usually so excited for, she hated the idea. She hated the thing growing inside of her and she hated that she had so little control. She just wanted it gone. That though wasn't the reason she had missed the appointment Dom had made for her. She'd told him she'd rather get the bus, rather be alone, didn't need him there.
In actual fact the frightened fifteen year old just didn't want to go. Him coming along would have forced the issue. This way she could just sit on the park bench and pretend she went. The sun swept across her little tanned feet, her toes curled around the edge of the bench sandals kicked off on the floor. Her chin rested on her knees. The simple fact was she couldn't go to the doctors because they would find her. She wouldn't take that risk for a child she didn't even want.
It would be best all round if she miscarried, she'd been doing everything they told pregnant women not to right up until he took charge. He'd stopped her eating eggs and dairy, he'd stopped her racing, he even thought he'd stopped her drinking. Yet here she was a litre bottle of vodka in hand. She'd prettily convinced a man to g and buy for her.
In her right hand she held a powder, she'd created it herself. Ibuprophen, she'd crushed around twenty tablets and she'd chase it with the vodka. Surely it wouldn't survive that. twisting the cap off of the vodka bottle she knocks back a large amount. her eyes watering at the vile taste. A few more gulps like that and she'll be ready to swallow the powder enclosed in her fist.

Dom called the clinic and asked if Eva had made it, and the nurse told her no one had shown up for the appointment. He hung up after thanking the woman, seething. He knew Eva hadn't wanted the baby, but he thought he'd explained to her that she could always put the thing up for adoption. He'd carefully not told her about Letty, though he'd noticed that Eva had stopped calling him Papa, which was what she had called him after their first week together.
He grabbed his jacket; this early, everywhere was cold. He had to find her, and tan her ass as much as he could with her being pregnant.

Straight vodka was never a good idea, but it was the only way to get drunk enough quick enough. Her eyes almost trance like staring at the powder in her hand. The young girl was very aware that if she took too much it could end her own life and not just that of the unwanted child. Her green eyes fearful, she wasn't suicidal despite everything she managed to think she had to much left to do before she died.
Her thin frame shivered in the cool morning air, even if she couldn't feel it because of the amount of alcohol she'd ingested. slender fingers pinched around a quarter of the powder and put it into the screw cap of the bottle. Hands trembling as she topped it up with vodka and took it like it was nothing more dangerous than a shot at a bar.
Screwing her eyes closed at the acrid bitter taste, the vulnerable brunette took a few harsh deep breathes and prepared herself another ibuprophen shot. Another quarter of the powder topped up with vodka hit the back of her throat. Her head beginning to spin, she fought to do another her depth perception off the powder missed the cap and ended up on her legs.
She wanted to laugh, she wanted to cry, hell she didn't know what she wanted.

Dom searched everywhere; he'd even called Brian, but she hadn't shown up there. He finally tried the park, and searched all over until he heard harsh sobs coming from a bench near the center.
"EVA!" he yelled, catching sight of her with the alcohol bottle and the unknown powder.

Sea green eyes where clouded by tears of frustration and pain. She felt utterly alone, she was nothing but trouble. She could get the only person who ever even remotely gave a damn in a lot of trouble. The teen really couldn't do it, he'd cared so she couldn't see him hurt.
Part of her wanted to sleep, her eyes were really heavy. Her limbs felt like lead and her head swam. Another part of her wanted to vomit, that might have been because the way the world was spinning though. The glass bottle slipped through her little hand as she heard a familiar voice.
She didn't want him to see her like this, this wasn't supposed to happen. Shouldn't he be finding Letty and making things right. He might not have said anything but others weren't as discreet when they whispered. They whispered about how he should never have taken her in. They whispered about how she'd caused their break up, how she'd been the reason he was nasty to everyone but Mia and the Baby.
Unfocused eyes try to hold on his face which now looms over her as she half lies on the bench.
Eva: Your not meant to be here

((I coulda sworn i fixed that, lol)) "I don't care where I'm 'meant to be'," he growled, yanking the bottle and the powder from her limp hands. "You're meant to be at a damned appointment, and here I find you trying to commit suicide! I guess I'm going to have to watch you from now on. I thought we agreed on putting it up for adoption?" He sat down and gathered her into his arms, pulling her onto his lap.
"I know you feel guilty for Letty leaving, but that was probably going to happen anyway. It always does; we fight, she leaves, she stays away for a few months, and then we get back together. It's how we lived until she turned 21. You were just convenient. Now why don't we go see how much damamge you've done to yourself?"

she could only blink tiredly up at him. eyes unfocused, she carefully shook her head no. As he shifted to stand with the light teen in his arms, she fisted her hand in his shirt and struggled against his grip.
Eva: I wasn't trying to commit suicide, and i can walk.
The little Latin american didn't see the smirk on his face as he set her on her feet. Her bare feet met damp grass, her sandals laying forgotten by the bench. Her tall thin frame swayed back and forth with the effort it took to stay upright. Her words slightly slurred as she spoke.
Eva: Ok maybe not, but no doctor, they'll find me, search my medical records find me and make me go back.
Her voice was almost a frightened desperate whisper by the end of the sentence. Almost as though talking about them too loud would make them appear. Tiny hands shot to her mouth, her body lurched slightly and she fought to speak.
Eva: Put me down.
A concerned frown gracing his face as he set her on the ground. Keeping both eyes on her as she crawled slightly away. The sound of wretching reached the ears, her body rejecting the mix of alcohol and pain killers.

Dom only hoped that her throwing up was a good sign, and not an omen of things to come.
"It looked a lot like suicide to me. And this is a free clinic... What medical records? You didn't even make the appointment under your real name. Let's just go and see what you've done. And you obviously can't walk, so I'm gonna take you," he said, once she seemed finished for the time being.
"And where the hell did you get vodka anyway? Who'd you scam for that?"

Eva could only pout slightly, her body to tired to put up much of a fight. Her fragile form shook slightly with cold and probably from the drugs and alcohol in her system. She wanted to argue, why did she have to go the doctors? why did she have to go through all this trouble for a parasite?
She hadn't been able to look at tyler when Dom had taken her to see him. She hadn't wanted to look at him incase he made her feel something for the monster growing inside her. She was so afraid that she'd love her child despite what it represented. How could she feel anything other than revulsion? could you imagine the conversations? could you imagine trying to explain to a child their father was a paedophile who'd raped a minor?
She hated everything about those people which should include their bastard child. The vodka had been easy to get hold of and she told Dom as much. In fact as her eyes found a grey suited gentleman sat at a table outside a small cafe she pointed to the blonde man.
Eva: I didn't scam anyone, he very nicely went and bought it for me because i'd left my id at home.

"So you scammed him," Dom said with an exasperated grin, helping her to her feet and then into his arms, backtracking for her sandals before making his way back to the Chevelle. Once he got her into the passenger seat, he passed her a bottle of water from the flat he kept in the trunk. It was warm, but it was better than nothing.
At this point he wasn't even worried about possible vomit in the car; her health was more important than his comfort. He pulled out his cell phone and called the clinic; luckily if he hurried, they'd be able to see her immediately.
"Why don't you call me Papa, anymore?" he asked as he drove. It really had been bugging him, which didn't happen often.

Eva pressed her head to the cool glass, pretending there was something of interest out of the window. How did she explain this one? How did she tell him, she thought he'd hate her? How did she say she didn't think she had the right to call him papa? In all truth there were a number of reasons she'd stopped calling him papa the most prominent, well that was simple she didn't want to break what little heart she had left when it all fell apart at the seams.
Her little hands raised the bottle to her lips, taking half a mouthful of the warm liquid. drawing her knees up to her chest in the hope of getting rid of the pain. Biting her bottom lips and rocking slightly knees drawn up in something akin to the fetal position. Her tanned skin was paling by the minute. Still she trained her eyes out of the window as Dom sped through the lanes of traffic.
Eva: I don't deserve a papa, i only cause trouble.
that's what her mother had always told her, her papa left because she was nothing but trouble. She didn't deserve to be loved, but her mama pitied her so she kept her even though everyone told her she should have gotten rid of little Eva long ago.
Then the young female had met some girls at the store who'd asked why they hadn't seen her at school. They'd asked if no one cared about her future. She'd argued told them her Papa cared, they'd asked who he was and stupidly she'd told them caught up in the arguement she was having. They'd laughed.
As the car pulled slowly to a stop, the teen tentatively clutched her seatbelt preventing it from being unplugged. Nervously looking at the building to her left.
Eva: Do i have to go in there?

"Someone famous once said that the only person that can make you feel unworthy is yourself. Doesn't matter what anyone else said, you have to make yourself feel worthy. So, don't give me that shit about you not deserving it." He watched as she curled in on herself further, he had a vague feeling that he was being played on some level. He pulled up in front of the clinic and steamrolled her protests, carrying her into the clinic, not letting her squirm free.
Once they were in the exam room, he told the doctor a very edited version of what happened, leaving out that he had found her in a park and made it seem like he had come home from work after calling to see if she made her appointment to find her already throwing up and shivering. He didn't mention having seen the alcohol, but told him that one of the bottle of ibu he kept for muscle aches after work was empty.
He was trying to get her help without getting her arrested.

Eva couldn't see straight let alone think straight. The pain in her stomach steadily increasing. Seeing the concerned half smile on the older woman's face she wanted to scowl. She didn't need the patronising pity of some woman who had 2.4 kids and a white picket fence.
Her eyes wide and fearful bottom lip trembling, she looked so childish and innocent. Curling in on herself hoping the pain would go away, she grabbed his hand. It was more for reassurance than anything else. Finally she forced herself to look at the nurse once more.
Eva: I just wanted the pain to stop, It's been days of these cramp like pains i just didn't realise how many of the tablets i'd taken.
Biting her bottom lip and squeezing the strong hand clenched in her own small fist as a particularly painful cramping sensation hits the teen. She's determined not to cry out not to look weak. Eva couldn't even comprehend the reply the nurse was giving her. Green eyes glazed over, hooded half asleep. She felt the cool sensation of the air hitting her now bare stomach, quickly followed by the very cold sensation of a gel substances making contact with the skin.
While the other two in the room watched a monitor, Eva let her eyes drift shut. Trying to shut everything out for just a few more minutes.
Nurse: Sir, the reason your daughter doesn't appear to have gained any weight is because the foetus is growing in her fallopian tube. It's what we call an etopic pregnancy, if something isn't done quickly it will have a serious negative effect on her health.
As the pairs attention returned to the girl in question, possibly due to her lack of questioning the matter. It's only then they notice she appears to be only half awake and not at all lucid.
