For about half an hour Brian had been sitting in his car outside the club in the pouring rain. Daniel had left because nothing exciting had happened...at the least not to him. But in Brian's hands was a valuable piece of information that could come in handy to put pressure of the man that had been giving him so much grief. Unsure what to do with the picture Brian decided to drive to the FBI building to copy them onto a stick and then printed them out. He left the stick in his desk and drove back to the club which was ready to close because it was almost 4 am. He left a brief message for Mia that he was going to be home soon and then left the car pulling his hood over his head to protect it from the rain. Still unsure whether to use the pictures now or at a later time he shoved them in his belt and pulled the hoodie over top. Patiently he waited for cater to leave the club.

Carter returned to the club an hour after he had left, he had some other buissness to attend to, before Star had gotten of from work, and he had arrived in time to take her to the back of the club, where the more personal work took place, well personal work when it came to him, he knew Nina was more then capable of ensuing none of the woman that worked there did anything behind the scenes, she wanted her clubs legal.
Three hours later he was smoothing down his suit and stepping out into the pouring rain, with a huff he quickened his pace towards the back of the club, where valet parking had parked his car. A figure came into veiw and he rose his brow, he knew if any trouble would happen, he was well protected, but as he neared he realized who he was. "Didnt know this was yoru type of establishment O'Conner"

"You never know." His voice was cold. The easiness the guy talked to him without the slightest hint of bad conscience for what he had done to Buster made his blood boil faster than he could control himself. "It seems to be yours though." He mumbled still contemplating whether to put the pictures forward.

Carter sighed, the rain was beginging to fall faster and the expensive suit he was wearing was getting drenced, yet it seemed to effect him only a little as he glared back at the man in front of him. Obviously he wanted something, what, Carter couldnt even begin to fathom, it wasnt hard to know there was much bad blood between the pair of them, and Carter had hoped to never see him again, apparently though that wasnt going to happen, any time soon.
"My wife owns the place Brian, im just checking in on it" He stated cooly, his brow raised as he stepped away to move towards his car, his keys jingling in his hands.

"Right." Brian looked down at his feet. 'Liar.' When he looked back up at him he couldn't get the images of Buster with his gutts sprawled out out of his head. "Why did you kill my dog?"

Carter stopped half way to the red car waiting in the lot, with a sigh he turned back towards Brian with one brow raised in annoyance, his dark eyes swimming with it, this guy was impossible, compleatly impossible, shaking his he stepped clsoer towards him, the rain long since stopped, letting out a breath he eyed the man up and down, he had gotten one over on him in Miami, and apparently it was him getting over on Brian, the thought made him smirk inwardly.
"Your brave O'Conner ill give ya that" He shook his head and stepped backwards, "Put i stick by what i said, i didnt kill your dog" He stated, straight face, eyes cool, there was honesty in his voice, because Carter hadnt killed his dog, didnt mean he didnt know who did.
"Now if your done throwing accusations around, i have a wife and little girl to get home to"

"I'm sure your wife will be thrilled to find out what you just did with that dancer, won't she?" the words had left his mouth before Brian would think any further. He was turning into Jack, first speak, then think. Now it was too late to takeit back.
"I know you had my dog killed. I understood the message. And here#s mine to you." His face became as hard as it possibly could. There was no doubt he would kill Verone with his own two hands if he didn't understand his message. "Don#t ever set a foot near my family again or send any of your goons." He pulled the pictures out and pushed them against his expensively clad chest. "Say regards to your wife."

Carter stopped once more the words that had left Brian's mouth had sent a cold shiver through his body, but he didnt let them show, instead he rose a brow listening to hsi words, and shook his had as he looked at the man in front of him, shaking his head, the pictures were thrust into his chest and he looked down at them, the anger running through his body with each breath, he let them fall to the floor and his hands were in Brians jacket seconds later, as she twisted them both around and shooved him agaisnt the wall.
"Do not threaten me O'Conner" He hissed, "Because you'll loose"

Carter's reaction was no surpise and Brian ready for it. With his back against the wall he managed a small smile knowing he had hit a nerve. "Not threatening, Verone. Just giving a message like you did." To emphasize it he pointed the barrell of his gun through his jacket.

Shaking his head Carter stepped backwards, and rose a brow, "The difference between me and you O'Conner i cant hit your harder then you can hit me" He promised, he knew hopefully if worse came to worse Nina would stick by him, he hoped, but was he really willingly to test the waters, when she was already slightly of with him, no.
Stepping away he threw a deadly look into the direction of O'Conner, "Dont push me" He assured, "You''ll regret it"

"Doesn't history teach us differently." Brian's reply was filled with sarcasm. After all Verone had spent years in jail and been the one with the hole in his skin, not Brian. "I don't want any more trouble with you. All I want is for you to leave me and my family alone. That's it, plain and simply. I want to know that they are safe and as of tonight I got the pictures to make sure of it." He stepped away from the wall he was being pushed against. The hint of worry on verones face was priceless. If he could he would have laughed out loud. "Have a good night, Mr. Verone."

Carter turned towards Brian, one brow raised ever so slightly, yes he had spent years in jail, but back then, Brian had nothing to loose, now he did, and Carter was going to make sure he knew it. "Oh i can assure you O'Conner ill hav a very good night"
He threw him a cold and deadly smirk before walking away and slipped behind the wheel of hsi car.

When Carter was gone Brian walked to his car with a sitisfied grin on his face. Finally he had some sort of security.
At home he slipped into bed next to Mia, who was sound asleep after he had checked on Tyler.
Little did he know what was to come...

Carter watched Brian walking away, the smile had been caught and Carter felt his blood boil, everything Carter had done since returning from prison, since he had come to LA, to be with Nina had been done in retaliation to Brian, he had warned, he had threatened, he had been nice, and yet O'Conner seemed to still have it in for him.
With a shake of his head Carter reved the engine to his car and skidded out of the car parking spot, the tyres of his expensive car, fluttering through the pictures on the floor.
He was going to make O'Conner pay for everything he had done, for every single last threat, he wasnt about to loose his daughter, not because of some wanna be cop who thought he was something, Carter would make him regret the day he had taken the job in Miami.
