Jack looked down at the dropped tissue in his lap, blood still dripping down his chin thanks to the alcohol in his system while his brow furrowed slightly. He wasn't by any means a genius, and still quite wasted on top of that, but..
"What am I supposed to do with that when both my hands are cuffed?" He grumbled as he slightly yanked the cuffs with his wrists for demonstration. He didn't even know what he was doing here, back in an interrogation room. Couldn't they have just given him a speeding ticket?
"What am I being charged for? We already established the car isn't stolen, and is in fact.. mine. So what am I doing here."

After letting Jack roast for a while the skinny cop- Richard- came back in with a notepad. He held a breathalyzer. "DUI. Take the mouthpiece in your mouth and blow until I tell you to stop and before you say you didn't drive...any person in charge of a vehicle in a public place that is intoxicated falls under that category. The Burger Place doesn't sell alcohol." Then he sat down on the table. "And defamation of a police officer on duty." He gave him a generous smile.

Jack eyed the breathalyzer for a moment, listening to the cop and his charges before he snorted. The man was priceless, almost. "I have a better idea.. Why don't you blow me instead, Dick. You didn't bring me in to an interrogation room for a DUI and petty's sake only. You could have just locked me up for those." He smiled, mirroring the generous one on the cop's face before he sniffled against the blood in his dully throbbing nose once more. It was more than becoming a pain in the ass, well.. nose.
Leaning forward just enough for his cuffed hands to be able to reach his face for the first time since he'd had his head whacked against his car, he used the back of his hand to wipe at some of the somewhat drying blood above his mouth before he moved to carefully touch his nose. He wasn't sure whether it was broken or not, or whether it had just been bleeding like a son of a bitch because the alcohol had thinned his blood, and because he wouldn't stop sniffling against it, but he did know the pig in blue had been out of line. After all, he'd only used, and abused, an accepted short version of man's name to his own amusement, had he not?
"I want my one phone call, I want my lawyer." He mumbled as he sat back up. Only problem was.. His lawyer was his girlfriend, fiancee? Things weren't all that clear on that yet, or rather, anymore. Either way, he wasn't looking forward telling her he had coaxed his equally wasted brother in to stealing a car from the police impound lot, raced him through downtown LA at suicidal speed, and.. got caught eating a damn burger at a fast food restaurant..

Angrily the man stared at him.
"The man stood up and held the breathablyzer in front of Jacks face. He was a little amused about the pained expression. "Take the breathalizer test or we'll have to do a blood alcohol test, sir." He wouldn't argue any further. In here he would not go anywhere outside the rules. he was a perfect role model cop. When Jack didn't react he stated. "No, I brought you here to question you about the shots on your car and leg. You've been involved in a murder case twice before, which tells me you have a violent history. Tell me exactly what happened."

Jack groaned in annoyance, and he would have pinched the bridge of his painful nose on top of it had he not been cuffed to the table. He wasn't going to blow no breathalyzer, or dicks for that matter, nor was he going to answer any questions. He may have had a few shots too many, but he still wasn't stupid.
"I already told you, I want my one phone call and I want my fucking lawyer. I'm not saying anything until she gets here.." He grumbled before he leaned forward once more to scratch at his nose. Now it wasn't only throbbing, but itching like hell, too. Stupid cops, and their stupid 'holier than thou' bullshit attitude.

Angrily the man put the breathalizer on the table and pointed his finger at him. "You need to work on your attitude." Then he stomped out of the room only to return a few minutes later with his colleague, who now finally had finished his meal and was now raising his eyebrows at Jack.
Without a word officer Dick grabbed Jacks arm, tie it off above the elbow and drew some blood with a little more force than necessary. "Now you can have your phone call." His colleague uncuffed him from the table and tied his hands behind his back, then walked him out of the room and down the hallway to the phone on the wall.

Jack furrowed his brow when the cop came back in to the interrogation room with his partner, and he shifted in his seat when his new best friend tied off his arm. Now that couldn't mean anything good..
"Wow, hey, what are you.. Jesus Christ, what is this? A fucking slaughter house?! You can't do this!" He gritted his teeth when the needle pierced his skin. Oh hell, he did hate those damned needles, and he had no other choice but to keep his arm still as he watched how his blood slowly filled the small tube. Why didn't he just fucking blow.. and no! still no dicks.
"She's gonna have a field day with this, Dick." He growled as he passed the man when the fat cop lead him out of the room and down the hallway toward the phone. He glared at the fat ass as he rambled off Faye's cell number, the one phone she was most likely to answer, at least he hoped when the receiver was pressed against his ear.
"Come on, baby.. Pick up, pick up.." He mumbled as he shifted uneasy on his feet, waiting to hear her voice.. mail. Shit. "Hey baby, it's me. I'm at the police station, you know which one.. and you might wanna come by as soon as you get this message, if you got the time. I'm kind of arrested.." Oh yeah, couldn't have brought it any smoother. His brow furrowed when the receiver was pulled away from his ear, and he groaned softly as he hung his head almost in defeat. Shoot him, shoot him now..

The phone was hung up for Jack and he was walked back to the interrogation room. "That's your one call. If your lawyer doesn't show you sol. We have really nice cells here though." He led him back to the interrogation room and sat him down. Then he handed Jack a wet paper towel from the sink outside and took his handcuffs off one hand, tying him to the table again. "So how did your car get shot up? Cause we have a variety of shootings all over town in the past 48 hours and don't quite know where to place you?!"

Faye cursed slightly when she heard her phone ringing, how she did with the warm steam of the shower beating down over her body was beyond her, but she did. It had been a long, hard day, and she had wanted to come home to a nice relaxing evening alone, with Jack, yet he had gone out with Brian, so here she was alone. Switching of the shower she quickly dried and moved towards her phone, which was flashing with the sign of voice mail. With a breath she dropped the towel, pressed the numbers to get up the message while moving to get dressed.
Hey baby, it's me. I'm at the police station, you know which one.. and you might wanna come by as soon as you get this message, if you got the time. I'm kind of arrested.."
Faye’s mouth dropped open with shock, and a sigh fell from between her lips, he did like making her job difficult, dropping the phone down to the table she moved towards her wardrobe picking up her suit for the second time that day, a quick blow dry later and she was in her car and heading towards the police station….just like old times.
Sighing she pulled to a stop and slipped into the station, and moments later she was led towards the interrogation room, her eyes found Jack’s and she let out a sigh, “What the hell?” She questioned with concern when she saw the state he was in, shaking her head she moved towards him, gaze wondering over his blood nose, gently she took the paper towel from his hand and pressed it against his nose, her fingers lifting to pinch at the tender skin. “Have they offered you medical assistance?” She questioned softly.
Drawing her lower lip between her teeth she let out a steady breath, “Better yet Jack what the hell….your on probation for manslaughter okay, your lucky if they don’t keep you overnight just to prove a point” She wouldn’t let them of course…but god damn wouldn’t they push.

Jack snorted as he took the paper towel from the cop with his uncuffed hand. He knew they had fantastic cells here, he had been in one about a year ago. It wasn't something he was looking to repeat, nor was he looking to repeat having Faye bail him out. 'Like good old times' his ass.
He dabbed silently at the drying blood under his nose, keeping his mouth shut on both his smart ass comments as well as answering any questions while he stared at the table in front of him for lack of better view. He wasn't stupid, and he'd already told the fucker twice he wouldn't say anything until Faye got here, if she got here.
Moments passed until finally her voice drew his stare away from the table, and he would have smiled had the situation, or the look in her eyes for that matter, been different. He could tell she wasn't happy, even as she took the paper towel from him and pressed it against his nose. "Medical assistance? They're the ones who did this to me." He mumbled as he winced slightly when her fingers pinched at the painful flesh.
He let out a soft laugh at her words, the alcohol doing wonders on keeping his mood lighter than it should be. He knew he was on probation, but he hadn't planned on getting caught, actually, he hadn't planned on pretty much anything. "I got arrested by Dick and the Fatman here for minding my own business whilst eating a burger, and you're what the helling me.." He mumbled, grinning slightly. It was sort of the truth, wasn't it?

Licking her lips Faye furrowed her brow, dark eyes rounding onto the cops in the room, shaking her head she rose a brow in his direction, “Police brutality huh?” She questioned with a raised bow, dark eyes sparkling with annoyance, oh this was turning out to be quite a night, shaking her head in anger she let out a breath. She pushed the her hand away from his face, looking at his nose before lowering her hand down to her side.
“So may I ask you why you arrested my client?” She questioned with a raised brow, looking between both the officers, completely ignoring Jack for the movement, she was beyond worried for him, for them if she couldn’t get him out of here. Letting out a breath she shook her head. “Im waiting, why did you arrest my client, and while we are at it are you going to explain why he has a boosted nose and” Her gaze caught the trail of blood on his pants leg…heaving in a breath her dark eyes snapped to Jack, “You were shot?” She questioned worry lacing her tone once more.
“You need to let my client go, or I swear to god ill sue you and this department for everything you’ve got, both of you will be checking yours asses for years”

The two men didn't appreciate her tone. "So you are his lawyer." They seized her up-she was awerfully young. Great, a young hot shot. "Your client was treated appropriately when we approached him because of his shot up car. On his breath we could smell alcohol. Mr. O'Conner drove under the influence and insulted us. Then he resisted arrest. That's how he got the bloody nose. We have nothing to do with that." The cop motioned for his leg. "But we're really interested in hearing your story how you got it."
He crossed his arms in front of his chest while his fat partner remained silent. "I'm sure you're familiar with the long list in his file and that he's on probabtion for manslaughter."
Then he walked around the table, while his partner got nervous, and got into Fayes personal space. "So don't you threaten us, Miss ...lawyer."

Jack furrowed his brow. "Shot? No, well.. yes, but it looks worse than it is, I think.. I haven't checked yet." And this was the part where he should just start shutting up. She already looked worried enough, and it didn't even hurt all that bad, it just bled.. bad, he realized when he looked down at the blood soaked fabric of his pants.
"I wouldn't call taking my blood without my consent treating me appropriately." He grumbled before he looked back up, smiling ever so slightly at the cop. If he played his cards right, he wouldn't even have to tell how he got the gunshot wound.. at least not while he was here, surrounded by these blue suits.

Faye glared up at the cop as he invaded her personal space, oh she just hated cops who thought they were able to intimidate her because she was young, young or not she knew what she was doing and so far she hadn’t seen anything being done correctly. Raising one brow she inclined her head ever so slightly, “Id like you to step back officer” She stated calmly, she wasn’t the prisoner here and the good cop bad cop routine wouldn’t work on her..
Licking her lips she didn’t once turn her gaze away from the cop, but she listened to Jack, oh she’d get this story out of him eventually, “So officers tell me when you saw this shot up car, did you know it was my clients, in fact did you even know my client had been driving in the first place” A soft smile crossed her lips, “Was there probable cause for you to arrest him, violate his rights, haul him into an integration room, not offer the proper medical care he is required, draw blood without the consent nor the presence of a lawyer”
A breath left her lips before she continued once more, “By the sounds of things the only thing done by the book and correctly was the fact you read him his rights” Heaving in a breath she finally turned her gaze to Jack, before returning it back to the officers.

Dick stepped back a little but didn't seem too impressed by her words. he had done it many times and gotten away with it. These criminal bastards got away too easily way too often. His partner on the other started getting sweaty palms and was tapping his foot nervously. He didn't want to get into trouble for the other guys bad attitude. "Dick, let's talk." Dick didn't like the sound of it either but he followed him into the corner. A few minutes later the motioned for the door. "We'll get him over to the medic. He just got in. Her wasn't available before. Then we can 'talk' about the case."

Faye laughed softly, one brow rose ever so slightly, “The second you realized that you should have escorted my client to the nearest hospital, now officers, you either tell me why you decided to haul my client down here or do I need to go over your head, you know what they do to guys like you, they hate bad cops”
With a raised brow she looked between the two officers instantly realizing which one was the good cop, and which was the bad. “As far as im concerned with no reason for initial arrest and then you have done everything against the book since his arrival, so you can let him go with a warning, or we push this all the way to the top” Leaning forward ever so slightly she smiled, and rose a brow, “I havent lost yet officers and I don’t plan on starting with two cops who think there above the law”

That was when the fat cop broke down. "See I told you. I just wanted to have a burger but you, you always want to have a good quota." He glared at his partner who looked back threateningly. "Would you shut up?" He pointed at Faye and the now slightly interested looking suspect. "No, I won't." He nodded at Jack. "I'm sorry, I understand you need to see a doctor now and it was your car so...you.." His partner almost exploded. "Don't, Don't you see she's playing you?"
Now it was the fat cops turn to man up. "No, partner. You're trying to play me but I'm not going to take the fall because of your brutal streak."

Faye rose a brow at the unprofessional men in front of her, letting out a breath she chuckled softly at the cop, “I assure you im not playing with you, your options right now are simple you let my client go, with a warning, or I get your superior in here and I drag your names through the mud, you’ll not only loose your job, but your pension, and the respect and you’ll never work in the force again”
She turned dark eyes between both of the cops, hands resting against the table.

Before his partner could hold him back or say anything against it the fat officer replied. "It turns out you're client's only slightly intoxicated and if he takes a cab home he can go." His partner glared first at the other cop, then at Jack and Faye and then left without a word.

Faye smiled at the two cops in front of her, so she had pegged these two correctly, licking her lips she let out a soft breath, slowly nodding her head as she turned her gaze towards the other cop, dark eyes sparkling with amusement. Heaving in a breath she rose a brow, “Then can you please release my client” She questioned with a raised brow, “And ill arrange his ride home” Dark eyes turned towards Jack promising repercussions for this, be them good or bad, it would all depend on the story he gave her.
