Anxious to inspect his newly inquired and destroyed GT-R for himself, Cole spent most of the day down at Diablo's shop taking care of a few things himself. Diablo told him that the frame wasn't horribly bent and that only a few minor tweeks would be required to perfectly straighten it. The rest of the front end though, would need to be replaced. Miraculously, the engine and transmission were still in good condition. Thinking about what he wanted in the car, Cole invisioned a massive twin-turbo setup with race performance pistons, valves, cams, and heads. He wanted 1200 hp, and if that meant running 40 pounds of boost, he would do what it took to make that happen. Luckily for him, he made a call to a connection of his in L.A, who did all the stuff to his evo. This guy could get the parts he needed fast and, because a lot of them were stolen, at a healthy discount. That meant he was pretty much set as far as aftermarket parts, and since replacement factory body panels were ridiculously expensive, he decided to install a full body kit that not only looked cool, but enhanced downforce. Full race-style suspension and swaybars would also be going in. The only obstacle in the way now was time. Diablo was busy with many other projects, so he thought he'd probably have to do most of this himself. But no worry, he repaired and overhauled his race cars all the time, so he figured he could probably pull this off. After this project he'd be completely broke, even with the discounts he was getting. But he knew how worth it this would be. He thought he'd send Brian a text message, confirming the car was savagable. "Hey man, the GT-R's frame isn't too bad, I already have parts on the way. Within a few weeks the car should be rolling." He punched into his phone.

The call was a welcome distraction from a day at the office. Brian got up from his desk and grabbed his car keys. "I'll take my lunch break now." He said before he dashed out of the main station without further notice. He didn't bother to change into civilian clothes. One downside of being taken off his brothers case officially was that the captain had put him on normal duty again, which meant wearing a uniform. For now that was better than a bullett through the brain though.
The drive to the garage was pretty far so Brian broke more than just one traffic regulation on his way there. When he arrived the garage doors stood wide open and he could see the wreck on one of the lifts with Cole underneath it. "What's up, bro?" He greeted him and looked up at the chassis.

Cole looked over his shoulder to the voice he recognized and raised an eyebrow. "Sup, why are you wearing a police uniform?" He asked suspiciously. This would explain the vest he saw the other night at the O'Conner house. Was Brian seriously a cop? That's nonsense, otherwise he'd be the one chasing the street racers, not joining them.

The question caught him by surprise so he answered full of sarcasm. "I'm posing as cop." He then fully stepped under the car and tried to see with plain eyes whether the cassis was bent. "So no major damage? Why does it take a few weeks to get this baby running then?" He ran his hand along the exhaust system that looked brand spanking new.

Mira pulled her black Suzuki GSX-R 600 into the garage. The bike was in perfect condition mostly because Mira babied the hell out of it. "Hey boys." She put the kick stand down and pulled off her helmet. "Wow...you two are excited about that?" In a few steps she was standing under the car next to them tugging her riding gloves off. "This is defiantly a project."

Given Brian's answer, Cole decided to just set the issue aside. "The major damage is basically what you can see. It's mostly cosmetic, but the frame is a little tweeked in some area towards the front. That's why I'm just stripping the whole thing down so we can get to it and adjust it. It's gonna take a few weeks because thats how long it will probably take to build the engine up to the way I want it." Cole got a dreamy look in his eyes. "Plus we have to put it back in one piece again." He smirked at Brian.
Seeing Mira roll into the shop in her sport bike. Cole couldn't help but mess with Brian a little. "So she follows you around, huh?" He joked with him. He turned to Mira. "It's a project, but it's a GT-R, it's not like we could've just junked the car." The thought alone pained him.

Brian's attention got captured by the arrival of a bike and it didn't take him a second to recognize it. "You wish she followed you around, don't you, kiddoh." Smiling he stepped closer to the door and greeted her with a kiss. "I'm just trying to figure out what's hotter you or that toy of yours." He shot a glance back at Cole wondering whether he had a bike fetish as well.

A light brush spreads acrossed her cheeks. "Well one you can touch and one you can't." Mira laughed and looked over the GT-R. "I don't see the attraction you two seem to have with this car..." She was an American made girl. Imports, well import cars, didn't really appeal to her. Though import bikes were another thing all together. "How long you think its gonna take?"

"Kiddo." He muttered to himself. The day people stop calling him that will be the greatest day of his life.
He looked over Mira's bike. He knew next to nothing about bikes, he had hardly ever rode one. They sounded cool, but he prefered 4 wheels over 2. Nonetheless, it was a pretty machine. The capabilities of those things, he knew, were astronomical. After Brian and Mira were done with there on site makeout session, he asked Mira. "What brings you here? Besides Brian of course." He rolled his eyes.

Brian enjoyed their banter and asked. "So I can't touch your bike? Sweet." When she tried to tell him she didn't understand why he had a true crush on Nissans or any other powerful import he snorted. "Oh my, you have a lot to learn, Mira." Shaking his head he walked back around the GT-R and let his pale blue eyes scan every detail he could see while he explained. "Unfortunately she didn't come because of me. Aren't you supposed to see a doctor at noon?" If not she should rest and not speed through the city on a crotch rocket.

Cole smiled to himself at Brian's comment of where the car came from. He had to be careful to not get too far in front of himself, but the fact that he won a GT-R, was just so awesome to him. He continued his work on removing the engine from the chassis. The car was nearly dismantled enough were he could start installing the new parts on, if he had them.
Remembering that he recently finished his work on his evo. He let Brian know he was ready to race when he was. "Hey Brian, I got the new cams in my regular car. When do you want to run?" He was very excited to race Brian, finally he could compare himself to some real talent.

Drake drove his Impala into the Shop, pulling Mia's new Pink Beat behind him, He knew what she wanted done on it and knew that he wanted to do some Repairs on his Impala. Not much needed to be done on His Impala, But he knew Mia wanted a Complete Rebuild done on her Gran Torino So that's what he was going to Start with, He climbed out of his car and saw Cole and a few others and smiled. "Hey man" He said smiling at Cole. He unhooked the Gran Torino and pushed it the rest of the way into the Garage.

"Sup man." Cole nodded at Drake. He was interested to see how Brian would react, knowing his feelings about Drake, but he looked busy talking to Mira. He probably hardly noticed him. "Hey whats Mia's number? I need to talk to her about the race weekend we were planning." He asked Drake.

"Last I knew Mia moved into Their boat house. But I'll give you her cell." Drake said taking out a piece of paper and wrote Mia's cell phone number on it. "Miss Mia doesn't normally like me giving out her number, But I figure, She'd want you to have it" Drake said and handed the Phone Number over to Cole. "Now to work on the Torino." He said and grabbed a Creeper and some tools and put the Torino on blocks. He rolled underneath it and began to work, Fixing a few things and compleately replacing others, Then he rolled out, covered in car grease and worked on replacing the panels on the Body, He knew Mia wanted the car to be a color other then Pink, He just didn't know what Color. He finally chose Black. Seeing that they didn't have any Black Gran Torino Body Panels in he put in an order for some and began to work on the engine.

"Yea I'm sure she gets a few stalkers once in awhile." Cole accepted the piece of paper and saved the contact in his phone. He then sent a text message to the number. "Hey Mia, it's Cole Peyton. How is this weekend shaping up for you? An old friend of mine said we could use his car to enter the race at Sebring if we wanted."
He noticed Drake working hard on the old muscle car. "Is Mia gonna turn that thing into a racer?" He asked. The thought of Mia pulling up to street race in that was hilarious to him. It must accelerate and turn about as a good as a dump truck, unless serious work was planned on it.

"Yeah, We're gonna work hard on this thing. I thought we'd be able to try out in our own cars." Drake said glancing up at Cole. "I know Mia's gonna wanna drive one of her Cars. and I'm gonna either Drive my Impala or my Charger. They've had work done on them so they're much faster then they'd normally be." Drake said as he worked under the hood of the Torino. "So what're you doing on that car?" He asked nodding to the GT-R. He'd heard from Mia that he'd also won an RX-8 but he didn't see it anywhere.

Mira smirked and slide her hand into the back of his neck. "Well then you will have to teach me." She pressed a soft kiss to his lips before walking to a desk in the corner of the garage. "As for what I'm doing here..." She pulled a clipboard from a nail above the desk. "I'm changing the piston rings in the Eclipse, rotating the tires on the Mustang, and if I have time put a new head unit into the Corvette." A groan escaped her mouth as she turned toward Brian. "But I don't wanna go to the doctors."

Cole shrugged. "You can run your own cars, they just won't be competitive in the race is all. At the professional level, teams take their cars way beyond what street racers ever do. They gut out the interiors, put in the most expensive race suspension money can by, do serious weight reduction treatments, and run slick tires." Cole pointed out. "A fully built race car can cost $150,000 dollars, to give you an idea." Cole knew you'd have to be around the circuit for awhile to really understand the difference, but they'd find out eventually.
"I won this GT-R from some rich idiot, long story. Anyway, it's kind of a mess right now so I'm just tearing everything apart for when the new parts arrive." Cole stated. "It's gonna be a beast when it's done."

Brian put both hands on the counter in front of her and looked her in the mismatched eyes. "So why are you doing this? You're job is plenty of work and great pay!" He mocked. Silently he wondered whether her and Diablo were friend and whether she knew about his fling with the garage owner. Then he turned to see who Cole was talking to and only briefly pointed back at her. "You said you should go see a doctor again...I figure you're more responsible than some of us but if you don't want to I'm not making you." He shrugged and then went to the guy with his back towards him.
As soon as he was close enough to see his face he frowned. "What are you doing here?" No need to be overly friendly to a guy who wanted to fill his shoes with Mia.

Cole jumped a little at Brian's relatively harsh question towards Drake. "Easy bro, he's just here to do some work for Mia." He knew Brian didn't particularly care for Drake, Cole wasn't totally sure himself whether he trusted him either. But in his mind, there was no point to create even more tension.
Knowing he still had a lot of work to do, he turned back to the GT-R to continue his stuggle with removing the engine. "Nissan must not think much of people working on these cars." He thought to himself, starting to get frusturated.
