Agent Hobbs was sorting through the day's paperwork, wishing he could get home already, he had football to watch. Suddenly his secretary burst through his office doors. "Did I invite you?" Hobbs gave an annoyed look. "Sorry sir, but I have one hell of a case for you and your squad." She handed Hobbs the folder. "10 days ago, a suspect under charges of attempted murder and possession of coke escaped the city hospital, two individuals are suspected of planning and helping with the escape. One we've identified as ex-officer Mira Hobbs." The secretary allowed Hobbs to let that sink in a few seconds. "What?" Hobbs hissed. "My daughter helped a criminal escape?" Hobbs was in disbelief. The secretary nodded. "It gets better. The fugitive is Officer Brian O'Conner, it has been known throughout the department that he and Mira often work together on cases, it also rumored that they're in a relationship." Agent Hobbs slammed his fists on the table. How did his daughter get in this mess? "What about the third person?" He asked. We don't know his name yet, but he's described as a blonde teenager, 18 maybe 19 years old, he led officers on a high speed chase through the city in a silver Nissan GT-R. He hasn't been seen since. In fact, that was the last time any of them have been reported. We believe they've travelled overseas." Agent Hobbs had a death look in his eyes. He was going to find these thugs that took his daughter, destroy them himself, and then rip his daughter a new asshole. He stormed out of his office with the folder in hand. He had a squad to assemble.

"Come in." Agent Hobbs responded to the knock on his door. It was Damon, one of Hobb's squadmen. "Sir, we have just finished interrogating one of the workers who was present at the shipyard the day of the escape. He says he remembers two cars, 'sporty looking' in his words, three occupants total, rushed into a ship bond for Tokyo at the last possible minute. The description vaguely matches our three suspects. Agent Hobbs was silent for a few seconds. "Then I say we leave for Tokyo tomorrow." He stated. Damon was hesitant. "Sir, there is much more work to be done to have a reasonable reason to believe these are our guys." Hobbs barked. "Waiting doesn't do anyone any good. Seeing two cars being rushed onto a ship at a similar time as the incident is all the info I need. Prepare the cargo planes, we depart at dawn tomorrow." Damon looked at his boss for a second but then walked out to proceed with his orders.
