Jack pushed himself back up to his feet as he spit a small amount of blood out on to the concrete floor. Shit. He had seen that hit come from miles away, and yet still.. His jaw throbbed as he ran his hand over it. Brian hadn't held back either. His brother was obviously pissed, but then.. so was he when he heard the lovely pet name directed at him. "Stupid fuck?! You see any cops around here?! Huh! Because I don't!" He all but shouted, though of course he did see a cop. He was looking right at one.
His jaws tensed as he finally looked at the damaged front of the Aston Martin. Even the dim light inside the warehouse couldn't hide the scratches, the dents.. just the type he had expected to see. "Fuck, Brian. Have you seen this?!" He crouched down by the bumper and ran his hand over the damage. That would give him at least a full day's worth of work to fix up. Extra work. Extra work he didn't want, nor needed on top of his already busy schedule. He didn't have time for this bullshit.
He balled his fists as he straightened back up, and for a long moment he kept his back turned towards Brian. He knew he should push down the rising anger he felt towards his brother. Brian had gone against his own principles and helped him when it wasn't even his shit to take care of. He should feel... grateful, right? Wrong! He turned and he grabbed Brian's shirt with both his hands. He twisted them both around and pushed Brian back against the Aston Martin.
"Why the fuck did you have to crash through the barrier, you fucking idiot! I can't deliver the car looking like fucking this!" He growled before he let go of Brian's shirt. His hand balled up in to a fist again and moved by his side in such a fashion that made it clear he just wanted to hit something, or rather someone. He shouldn't, he really should...n't... And yet... he did. He couldn't help it when he just hauled off and planted his own hard fist in his brother's face. He needed to get his frustrations out on someone, someone that wasn't himself. Hitting Brian was easier than admitting he was the asshole in all of this.

Maybe there weren't any cops inside the warehouse but what about outside. There might be a helicopter on his way already or a whole bunch of patrols lined up outside.
Brian couldn't care less about the scratches and dents. "I guess you would have liked a hole in your skin better." He said through gritted teeth. Of course he could see the anger in Jack and under any other circumstance he knew Jack would hit back without thinking but right now he should be damn grateful and just take the hit like a man.
Instead Brian saw his brothers fist flying towards his eye a split second before his head got whirled around and he stumbled away clutching his face. Unfortunately Jack had finally learned to hit like a hammer. Not like years ago when he was still a boy and didn't have the high or muscles to compete with his older brother. His eye hurt like hell and he couldn't see anything but stars but what was worse was that the reason Jack had hit him was a car Brian stole for him.
Without hesitation Brian whirled around and tackled Jack throwing him against the hood of said car. "I stole that fucking car for you!" First he punched a dent into the hood then backhanded Jack in the same motion.

An involuntary grunt left his mouth when his back hit the hood of the car. He blinked when his brother's fist hit the hood right next to his head before his head whipped to the side at a moment's notice by the same fist, his cheek pressing against cold steel and his lip split and bleeding a bit. He didn't care Brian's words were true and that his brother had only stolen the car for him, nor did he care about the possible consequences for the both of them because of his radical choices tonight.
"You didn't do shit for me, Brian." He growled as he pushed his brother off of him, much with the help of his leg when he kneed Brian in the gut and his fist followed with an uppercut. He wiped the small trickle of blood from his chin as he straightened from the hood, studied the red smear on the back of his hand for a moment before he glared back up at Brian. The car was close to useless now. Sure, he could take care of the damage, make the Aston look brand new again, but he was already late on his deliveries and he couldn't afford much more, if any, delays.
He pulled the gun from the waistband of his pants and raised it while the click of the safety being thumbed off clearly sounded. "You're a useless piece of shit to me, Brian. Just like the car is now." He gritted his teeth slightly in anger, and it looked like he had every crazy intention to shoot Brian as he aimed dead on... but then he turned around and fired the entire clip in to the Aston Martin. Every loud shot bounced off the walls as holes magically appeared in the car's bodywork. Why he did what he did, he wasn't entirely sure, but it gave him a small hint of satisfaction none the less.
"You and I, we're done, bro. Next time you see me, it better be because you plan on arresting me." He lowered his gun as his head tilted a bit. His brow furrowed when he heard... " Shit." The god damned cops. The sirens were still somewhat distant, but they were surely heading their way. He hurried towards the Evo, opening the door and tossing the now empty gun on the backseat. As he moved to slip behind the wheel, he shot his brother a look. "Don't just fucking stand there. Come on, move your ass!" He shouted as he already started the engine. Not only could he not cross the Aston off of his list now, he had no choice but leave the MG behind too. The stolen car would attract far too much attention (not that the Evo didn't, but less at least), and he didn't plan on getting caught..

"Didn't do shit..." He didn't get any further before the knee connected with his gutt. Even though he flexed his abs quickly it wasn't fast enough and Brian almost saw his dinner again. The upper cut made sure his mouth stayed shut though. If he didn't knock any better he'd put Jack in the bare knuckle fight biz rather than the car boosting one.
Angry beyond belief about his ungrateful brother Brian rubbed his sore chin when suddenly Jacks gun was cocked and pointed at him. He held his breath. Had his brother lost his mind? Yes he had. The lunatic turned the Aston Martin into swizz cheese and wrecked all the work. Brian jumped at the loud noise. "What the fuck, Jack, what the fuck? Those dents were easy to fuck...fix." He shook his head yelling. "You're fucking crazy. You bet I'm not helping you any more. You've got every single screw loose in your thick skull."
He stepped towards him and grabbed the gun. "Put that thing away." Then the helicopter sounds chopped up the air.
All options were quickly thought through. Escape by foot, hide, escape in a stolen car, escape with his crazy brother. "Hell, no." Brian yelled and kicked Jacks tire.

Already search lights shone through the high windows of the warehouse, casting various shadows over the walls, and yet still his brother didn't move. What a hell of a time to play the stubborn O'Conner game. Yeah, maybe he had an impulsive moment of temporary craziness when he shot and perforated the car without thinking, but as of now, it reaaally didn't matter anymore. Not with the cops on their asses.. in a chopper of all things. If they didn't get out of here now, they might as well just walk out with their hands up and surrender.
"Just get your fucking ass in the car, or so help me god, bro." He revved the engine as a warning. He had made some bad calls tonight, more than bad, but he was not going to make another by leaving Brian behind. He was a dick, yes, but not that big of a dick. "You wanna rot in jail? You do know what they do to cops in prison, right?" Or to him for that matter... The thought alone of becoming Big Bubba's new plaything had him shudder involuntarily.
He looked up a bit as he listened to the sounds of the police chopper. It was now practically hovering right above the building, far, far too close for his likings, and he turned his eyes back on to his brother. "I'm sorry, alright? You're right, I'm a stupid fuck! Now get in the god damn car." He growled through gritted teeth. At this moment he'd say fucking anything for Brian to move his ass, and he'd probably need to prove at some point to his brother that he hadn't gone completely bonkers. But that was of later worry..

Brian grew more nervous by the second. The sounds and lights made him want to run and hide and Jack truly was his only real option right now. "Okay...wait!" He held up his hand and ran to the MG. As quickly as he could he fumbled around with the wires to get the engine running which of course didn't happen until Brian almost got a heart attack. He placed a heavy paint can on the gas pedal and jumped out of the car as it shot towards the front gate.
Then he made a beeline for Jack's car and threw himself in. "Go, go, go!"
Hopefully the stolen car would buy them a minute or two. "That might give you the headstart you need." He slid into a better position in the seat because upside down wasn't any good with his brother behind the wheel who would probably break through one of the sides. Nervously his sweaty fingers pulled on the seat belt.

Jack furrowed his brow as he watched Brian run back to the MG and began messing around with the wiring. What? Did his brother really want to make a run for it in a stolen car? But then all became clear when the can of paint was placed on the gas. The MG shot forwards, and crashed through the front door the same moment Brian threw himself in to the passengers seat next to him. .
"Good thinking.." He mumbled in a half assed compliment as he shifted to reverse, released the clutch and pressed down on the gas. The tires squealed as the Evo shot backwards, straight for the wooden back entrance of the place. Oh shit.. He was gonna hate himself for this more than his brother hated him for his actions of tonight, and he softly whispered an apology to his baby before the trunk splintered the wood. The back window shattered on impact, and most likely the bumper and trunk wouldn't look too healthy either, but it was pushed to the back of his mind. He could fix her..
As the Evo fully left the building, he pulled the e-brake up quickly and briefly and swerved the car around. His eyes briefly looked up at the chopper, it's searchlight still shining over the warehouse, but not yet in their direction. "Buckle up and keep an eye on the chopper for me." He ordered as he shifted gears. He probably should have said the first part a little sooner.. His foot once more pressed down on the gas, and the Evo peeled away from the 'crime scene', through the narrow street behind the warehouse.

The reverse action was unexpected. So Brian got thrown forward against the dashboard connecting with his shoulder as he tried to see what was behind them. Next thing he knew glass was flying through the car. So he opted for covering his head.
The driving was impeccable, precision driving through. He couldn't have done it any better. Still fumbling with the damn seat belt Brian looked up at the helicopter which obviously wasn't sure which car to follow.
In front of the building the cops had to wait for the stolen vehicle to stop...or better crash before they could check for the driver.
It took about a minute until the helicopter changed its course. "They're onto us." Brian yelled and kept his eyes out the window on the helicopter. At the same time he was thinking hard how to get out of this.
"Tunnel...we have to make it to the tunnel." His fingers were already reaching for his phone, pushing speed dial. "Tej, get up. I need you. Quickly. I need a big distraction in the tunnel. We have cops on our ass...what? Yeah; I know I'm one. Don't ask."

Jack briefly looked at his brother before his eyes switched to his rear view mirror. By now the search lights of the helicopter were being directed towards them, and the bloody thing changed it's course to go after the Evo. He cursed as he pulled at the steering wheel, taking a sharp turn to the left in to another narrow street between the many warehouses. Here he could still keep ahead at least for a little while, keep the Evo out of the helicopter's sight as much as possible, but once they hit the open road, the chopper would have eyes on them like stains on a mattress, flies on a pile of shit... or whatever colorful synonym you wanted to use. Either way, they'd be pretty much fucked unless...
"Tunnel. Which fucking tunnel, man!" He quickly glanced at Brian for a second time. "And this ain't no time to be calling any of your dates, bro!" Already red and blue lights bounced off the walls behind them, and he couldn't keep the next string of curses from falling from his mouth. He yanked the wheel again, and the Evo roared as it slid around another corner, speeding up on the straight.
"I better hope you've got something good up your sleeve, Brian. Because I can outrun the wheels, but that little bird up there can become a bit more of a challenge." His hand shifted gears again as his foot pressed down on the gas fully when they left the industrial area. The bright search light danced over the Evo, following the car with ease.. yet the ground force followed with far less ease as the distance between the Evo and the cop cars grew.
"Come on, give me directions, bro. Make this fun ride go as smooth as possible." He said calmly as he swerved and easily shot passed two oncoming squad cars. Despite the current odds against him (being pegged as crazy and all?), this was still what he did, and what he did fucking good. Driving (and running if you will). For a moment he watched them and the chopper through his mirrors as he hit one of the main roads and gunned the engine completely. The only upside about this time of day, well... night was, was that there was little to no traffic on the road and he could fully use the Evo's engine power.

With his eyes on the cops behind them Brian yelled. "News, Jack. Watch the news! The Port of Miami Tunnel. It's a traffic tunnel connecting the MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island and the Port of Miami. It's not really open yet but ...oh well. I know you!" He smirked and informed Jack. "Do something. The choppers on us!" Of course he knew that Jack was already doing everything he could and driving like a genius anyway. "Trees, woods...The park, drive through the park!" At least the helicopter would have a bad or no visual on them."
While Jack was super busy avoiding oncoming traffic and garage cans Brian pictured the show down in his head if they really caught them. Next to Jack sat his gun reflecting the sunlight. If Jack got out of the car with a gun in his hand, which Brian could only assume after his brother shot the stolen car to swizz cheese, the cops would probably shoot both of them. So Brian grabbed the gun with a swift move and tossed it out the open window. "Too risky." He commented.

Jack furrowed his brow a bit and snorted in amusement. Him and news. That was not something that went well together as it tended to drag him off to sleep more than anything else. But he guessed from time to time watching it could actually come in handy, as Brian just proved... not to mention his brother was right. Whether the tunnel was open yet or not, if it meant a 'get out of jail free' (or in this case 'stay out of jail free') card for him, them, he'd take it with both hands.
"So which fucking way is this.." He cut himself off. He just told you, you idiot. "..Nevermind." He mumbled as he shifted gears and shot passed the suggested park. The Evo wasn't a fucking 4x4 terrain truck, and he did still love his car... maybe more than anything, or anyone, else in his life. If he could get on to the interstate, get on the I-395, he could pick up more than enough speed to stay ahead of the helicopter until they reached the tunnel.
His eyes moved towards the gun, his gun, as Brian grabbed it and.. "Hey, wow, wait!" ..and he was too late. Brian tossed the weapon out the window, just like that, even though the damn mag was empty, and the only way he could hurt someone with it now was if he threw it at their head. Not to mention the only thing he had shot with it was a car. "Now why the fuck did you do that?! Do you know what I had to do to get that thing?!... And you keep your smart mouth shut on that one." He growled. He could already hear the 'did you suck dick for it' comment coming, or maybe that was just his own twisted mind. Really though, he hadn't done much for it. Just gave some money to the right people, and voila.. no hassle with gun permits and registration.
Finally the Evo reached the ramp leading to the I-395, which would lead to the MacArthur Causeway and he looked in his rear view mirror again. The helicopter was still not far behind, but the squad cars were nothing more but flickering blue and red lights somewhere in the distance. He sped up, pushing the Evo to her limits as they passed by the first few construction signs. At least he was certain he was going the right way now. He may have lived in Miami for something around a year, but he still hadn't seen half of the city.
"So what's your big plan, huh? Drive in to the tunnel, and then what? This thing isn't even ready yet. What if we're just trapping ourselves, bro." His eyes moved to Brian for a moment. Already the construction came in to sight ahead, the big signs with the 'finished by' dates, traffic cones.. and then the Evo crashed through the first red and white barrier that kept the tunnel closed off for public. It would only be a matter of moments before there was no more 'turning back'..

"That was your life insurance. What do you think the cops will do if they see you with a gun in your hand? Uh, excuse me sir, is that gun loaded?"
As long as he still had reception Brian placed another call. "We're at the tunnel. We need you now to distract the cops enough so we can drive out of the same side...and bring some paint." Brian was trying to think on his feet. And even though the plan forming in his head seemed ridiculous it was the only one he had. Just before the connection broke off Tej confirmed his help.
They drove deeper into the tunnel which close like a giant worm around them. It was dark and didn't have ventilators or lines on the tarmac yet. "Slow down so we don't crash into the walls. Tej is going to be here soon."
Brian wasn't quite sure how his friend would help but he was sure that he would do it. Neither behind nor in front of them any headlights could be seen but the hole that used to be the entrance became smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror. It was almost like driving in a cathedral or cave. Brian tried to make out something but all he could hear was the beating of his own heart and the purr of the EVO. "Just trust me. I've known this guy for ages. He'll think of something."
Suddenly headlights came on only 200 feet ahead of them. "Stop." The silouhette of a guy with a large afro could be seen.

Jack snorted as he slowed his speed down by only a few mphs. The tunnel was dark, yes, but they did still have cops on their asses. "Trust you... right." Was he supposed to trust Brian just as much as his brother trusted him after tonight? Because if so, things wouldn't end well. He didn't like the sound of paint, nor did he like the sound of an outsider going by the name of.. Tej? Now he remembered back in the day he himself had some stoner friends with weird names, but.. really? Tej?
"Oh, man. You gotta be kidding me..." The Evo came to a screeching stop, and his brow furrowed as he watched the big fro on the man. Normally he would have chuckled and even appreciated the hairstyle, but at the moment... Damn, this was even worse than he imagined it. "You got this clown helping us? What, he's gonna smuggle the Evo out of the tunnel in that do of his while we make a run for it? Or hey! Maybe there's room for us in there, too! Jesus, Brian..." There were so many more things he wanted to say, how whatever plan Brian had was probably bullshittingly stupid, how he might as well walk out of here with his pants down... but he decided against it.
"Again I say this better be fucking good, bro. Because the Brady Bunch is going to be on us soon while we're standing here, admiring each other's hair..." He grumbled as he got out of the still idling Evo. He gave Tej a nod as his greeting, but other than that he remained, quite against his normal self, quiet. Tonight was already dragging on far too painfully long, when he could have been doing better things, people, person.. whatever. Either way, the faster this gig was over..

"Don't get your knickers in a knot, baby." Brian stated as cool as possible when he climbed out of the Evo and greeted Tej with a hug. "Thanks for coming, we've got a problem. Cops!" Brian pointed at the end of the tunnel and saw faint lights half a mile back. "Quick disguise and then distraction."
Tej simply shook his head in disbeleive, which proofed that his hair wasn't a wig because it didn't move an inch. "You'll have to explain this too me later." He held up his fingers and snapped them. Instantly 5 car's headlights came on illuminating the Evo.
While Tej started spraying the outside of the Evo green together with a buddy. Another two ran towards the cop cars and spread nails through the tunnel.
Tej screamed at Jack. "Just ditch the car. This is taking too long but Brian was already on top of the roof, caught a spray can and started coloring.
When the first cop car hit the nails and started sliding sideway towards them Tej and his gang cleared the Evo and yelled. "Watch out. The other end is not finish. Stay on the left side." Their engines roared to life and Brian jumped back into Jacks no camouflaged car while his brother stared at the cops like a deer in the headlights...or was it at his beloved car?

Jack raised one hand to shield his eyes from the sudden abundance of headlights. What the.. "Wow, hey! Nonono!" And.. again he was too fucking late. He could only watch as the first green spray paint covered (if you could call it cover) the Evo's carefully kept immaculate (even though it was pretty much trashed after he'd crashed the car through the wooden door, and not to forget the barriers) black paint. Oh, he wanted to fucking punch someone right here and now, and his eyes shot towards his brother next. The bastard seemed awfully keen on jumping on top of the car and ruining the rest of his precious, precious car.
He seemed to come back to life when the other engines did, and his teeth gritted in anger as he slid back behind the wheel of his... Evo. "This was your master fucking plan?" He growled as he pushed back in to gear. "I'm telling you, man. If they catch me, it's not gonna be for grand theft auto. It's gonna be for fucking murder one!" The engine roared as he pressed the gas down, steering the car in to a half circle burnout before it peeled from it's spot.
Despite his anger though, he did as he was told, staying to the left side of the tunnel, and avoided the path of strewn out nails. He shifted gears again and easily shot passed two oncoming cop cars. Soon, the exit of the tunnel came closer and already he could hear the whirring of the dreaded helicopter overhead. Now he could only pray this ridiculous plan worked, and his car hadn't been ruined just for Brian's satisfaction.
Seven high performance cars shot out of the mouth of the tunnel almost simultaneously, including the green..ish Evo, and the chopper seemed to have trouble deciding which one to shine it's searchlight on. The cars stayed together until they hit they inner city once more where they spread out, all going in different directions. To his surprise, the chopper seemed to not follow him, but one of the others, another black car and he couldn't help but snort. The car in question was a Nissan Silvia, it hardly looked like an Evo, but then he guessed the cars probably all looked to same to idiots in the sky.. Either way, he didn't care the plan seemed to work. His brother was still as dead for this joke as he was in the tunnel.

For a long time Brian seemed to have to hold his breath until the chopper actually flew into another direction. The plan had worked despite the shitty paint job, which partly covered the windows. A cheer escaped his lips as he watched the overhead surveilance disappear behind a building.
He hit the dashboard with his hand. "Okay, now is our time to hide. Find a good spot to stash your little precious!" His eyes scanned the building flying by. "Nice driving by the way."
Then he picked up the phone and pressed redial. "It worked. We lost them. I owe you big time, buddy! Thanks, bro. I'll see you next weekend."
With that he clapped Jack on the shoulder in a friendly buddy-buddy attempt. The adrenalin had gotten the better of him.

Jack didn't respond to the compliment, nor to the clap on his shoulder. His expression was sour and stayed sour as he drove the Evo through the many streets of Miami, towards the lesser parts of the city. He already knew where he was going to stash his car for the time being. It was the place he worked at, Larry's Bodyshop. The name was nothing original, but it got it's point across. As far as he was concerned, that was all that mattered.
He took the last turn before he drove the Evo on to the forecourt of the somewhat dingy looking garage. His eyes moved towards the clock in his dash, 4:17. The sun wouldn't rise in another hour or two, nor would his boss in another additional two hours. But none of that mattered. He had the keys to the place, entrusted to him by the big man himself.. mainly because he tended to be the first one in and the last one to go.
"Wait here.." He mumbled as he got out of the car. He moved towards the garage door, unlocked it and pushed it up before he slid behind the wheel again moments later. He rolled the Evo inside, and the headlights died as he shut the engine off. He took another minute or two before he finally got out, and while Brian did the same, he found a car cover and pulled it over the wrecked machine to keep it from curious eyes.
He then opened his mouth to say something, but was stopped at the sound of shotgun being cocked right behind their backs. He turned, cautiously, and squinted his eyes a bit at the flashlight being shone directly in his face. The man holding the gun was somewhere in his fifties, his longish hair already graying, and his arms were littered with various tattoos. Oh, great...
"Larry, relax. It's me... Jack." He clarified with his name just in case his boss still didn't recognize him, and he lifted his hand to carefully push the double barrel down, away from his chest. He had forgotten the man lived in a glorified trailer home behind the building, and had probably heard the Evo coming from miles away.
"O'Conner? Jesus, kid. Thought you were some punk trying to break in, almost blew a hole in ya. What the hell are you doing here at this time of night." Larry's eyes moved from him towards the covered car. Did it look like he had stolen said car? Ironically, it probably did..
"Morning actually." He followed his boss' line of sight and cleared his throat. He could see the questions rising in the man's eyes, questions he'd rather not answer, and hopefully.. Larry wouldn't be watching the morning news later. "Some kids vandalized my car tonight. Figured she'd be saver here until I can patch her back up in my spare time." He lied through his teeth, but with the Evo looking the way she did.. the story seemed plausible, right? "You can take any stalling costs out of my next paycheck." Anything to keep his boss from asking any more questions..
Larry grunted some incoherent reply before looking at Brian with seemingly more questions. Understandable..
"My brother. He uh.." 'Just happened to come along for the ride, wanted to see where I worked'..? Yeah, none of those reasons worked. Not at 4.30 in the morning. He shot Brian a look, silently telling his brother to get his ass moving before he actually had to come up with a way to finish his sentence.
"Look, Larry. I won't hold you up any longer, and I appreciate you letting me stash my car here. I'll be back in at 8, alright?" He practically pushed Brian now, as he moved towards the open garage door.

Jack proved to be pretty sneaky and have his connections. No wonder he hadn't been caught so far with friends in the right places. Obviously Harry would have a few questions and to back up Jacks story why he was here with his brother who was wearing a uniform, he quickly added. "I patrolled the area and saw some punk spray painting my brothers car so I woke him up." Then they were out the door.
Falling into step next to his younger sibbling Brian pulled his uniform shirt and hat off as soon as they were a block aware and carried it in his hand. Slowly the adrenalin was wearing off and while they were walking along the nightly streets of LA Brian came to realize what he had just done and his gaze became darker and darker. Yet he refrained from talking to Jack. Brian was seriously pissed off because Jack had blown up a whole bunch of cars and made him and accomplice of not only stealing but destroying property. His jaw was working and he had a hard time to keep his anger inside so he sped up to get some room to breath. Obviously Jack was holding back some anger on his own because when Brian shot him an angry glare his expression matched his own.
Without warning Brian pulled him into a dark alley that was lined with huge trash cans and probably some homeless people somewhere in dark corners. For some reason Brian couldn't controll his anger anymore as it threatened to make him explode so he grabbed his brother with both hands on the shirt and spun him against the next wall. Through gritted teeth he hissed. "You just fucking ruined my life! On top of that you shot the car so you have nothing to show for and probably will get killed. Congratulations, Jack! Fucking genius!"

Like his brother, Jack remained silent after they left the garage. His hands were shoved in his pockets as he kept to a fair pace, keeping some distance between him and Brian. He could feel the anger radiating off of Brian, and he knew why, but frankly he didn't give a flying fuck. Tonight everything had gone to hell. He didn't have the two cars, his Evo was.. well he'd rather not think about that, and he would probably have the entire Miami PD on his ass by sunrise... minus, or maybe even including Brian.
His brow furrowed when he was all of a sudden pulled in to a dark alley, and next thing he knew his back pressed against a wall and his brother was glaring him straight in his face. "Oh, boo-fucking- hoo, Brian. You want me to play the smallest violin in the world for you?" He scoffed before he forcefully freed his shirt from Brian's grip. "Well, look at it this way. If I get killed you at least won't have to worry about your fuck up little brother messing with your life again. There's an upside to everything, bro." He practically spat the last word in Brian's face as he pushed him away, and he pushed hard.
"Just go back to your god damned boat house, Brian. Go back to pretending you're a good cop." There was contempt in his eyes as he glared at his brother. He wasn't in the mood for any of Brian's 'holier than thou' speeches. He knew he had fucked up, really, he did. But it didn't change anything on this job, not for him, and he stood by what he had said earlier. Next time they'd be crossing paths again, it better be because Brian was planning on arresting him.
"You're still nothing but a fucking pig to me." He growled before he shouldered passed Brian, and walked back out of the alley. Home was the only place he wanted to go now, where he could maybe catch a whole one hour of sleep before he had to go back to the garage. He knew his apartment building was only a few blocks away, an easy walk. Brian however, lived practically half way across the city. Too bad for him..

Of course the best choice would be walking away and never looking back. So He took a very, very deep breath shoved his fists deep intp his pockets to make sure they were not flying all over the place and walked out of the alley. He was fuming. Brian didn't believe what he just heard. his brother was the most ungrateful bastard he'd ever met. Right now he despised him with everything he had, hated his gutts, wanted to fucking break his nose and spit in his face for dragging him into this, possibly ruining his career and still behaving the way he did. maybe he should just arrest him. Yeah, that sound like a good idea. Finally coming to his senses Brian turned on his heel and the only thing he said. "If that's what you want." The he allowed the burning rage get the better of him, grabbed his Jack with both hands and whirled him around. "You're under arrest, anything you say or do...." He rambled off the usual and grabbed his cuffs to slap them around Jacks right wrist.
