Faye shrugged a shoulder “Trust me I think well on my feet, I don’t like where things are going ill change it up” She had no idea what this guy was like but now she had a name she’d be able to dig a little deeper, figures things out a little more. You could tell just how good someone was by how much information there was on then.
Dark eyes narrowed ever so slightly “Yea that and being on the run” She shrugged a shoulder. Her brother hadn’t been so lucky, just another reason she disliked the man so much. Dom had succeeded in being on the run for years. Her brother who had ended up back in Miami hadn’t been so lucky, but then again shooting a guy would always get you arrested.
Furrowing her brow for a moment she looked at him “I can see what I can do, but honestly if you’ve not heard of any, id think he doesn’t keep them around after he’s done with them. It’s not the first time the mafia has ties to street racing, nor their races” She stated thinking back to Natassia and everything the bitch had done, a shudder went through her at the thought and she shook her head slightly to cover it up.
“Why exactly are you working for this guy?” She questioned looking up at him “You gotta know how dangerous it is”

"That skill will be invaluable." He nodded. "Just don't talk to him without knowing your exact direction, if you must talk to him." He hoped that when she researched him, she'd find some things on him that would suggest just how aggressive his nature was.
He huffed a little at her assumption, which honestly, was probably true. He just hoped he had a solid enough relationship with Stephano that he wouldn't be expendable, and if he was, then that his escape plan would work. "Well that's encouraging." He said comically.
He shifted himself in his chair and let out a sigh, he realized the danger, he just didn't want to think about it. "I'd like to say he forced me into it, but ultimately it was my decision. The money out of this is just incredible. There are plenty of rich drivers as well as other mobs that race. I've been in races for 100k or more, its ridiculous." He slightly shrugged and continued. "I took the job because I believed in myself enough to let my results make me valuable to him."

Letting out a breath she nodded her head, “I have past history with guys like him Cole, trust me I know all too well what can go wrong if you start messing with them” and she had no intention on messing with him. She would go in, she would talk to him as an equal and with full respect, and she would offer him a deal in exchange for letting Dom of whatever debt he was going to be repaying.
Licking her lips Faye slowly sighed “Just be careful okay, stay on your feet, don’t take your position with him for granted, don’t think for a second that your valuable to him, it just doesn’t work that way” Brushing a hand through her hair she looked around the small little café, god being back in a place like this sure brought memories back, she had hated working in a place like this, constantly run of your feet, without a decent pay. She was more than glad for a decent job finally, but that didn’t mean anything, she was still pretty low grade, she didn’t blame Cole for agreeing to a job like that.
“Look, you’ve met with this guy right?” She rose a brow as she looked over at him, “What else should I know about him?” She could find only so much on paper, the rest y ou took from what people took from him.

Cole nodded. "You'll need to be straight to the point, no BS with him." Then again she didn't come off as the type of person that would BS with a mobster. He just hoped she'd realize the few things that he'd want besides money.
Now even she was warning him of his job, if he had a dollar for every time someone mentioned how dangerous his work was and gave advice...well he'd have a lot of dollars, put it that way. "I'm aware of the circumstances, the best I can do is try to stay clean." He looked down and the table and sighed. Admittedly, this took his toll on him mentally, he knew he couldn't do this forever.
"Had dinner with him just the other day." He shrugged. "He's business minded, that's all he worries about. He's not empathetic in anyway, he just cares about what makes him the bigger dollar. You can't appeal to his emotions, cause honestly I'm not sure he has any." He took a bit of a pause. "On another note, he's very new and unfamiliar with how the streets work around here, probably cause he has all his dirty work done for him. That's something you could take advantage of..." He trailed off.

“No bullshit that I can do” She stated with a nod of her head. She didn’t bullshit anyone, she didn’t dilly around the subject, when Faye had something to say you damn well knew it because she shot straight to the point, it was exactly who she was, a trait she had unfortunately taken from her father. So now she had a semi game plan in mind. Go in, shoot it to him straight and hope he didn’t kill her on damn principle.
“Yea your aware, but being aware and knowing first hand what they can and will do are completely different Cole, trust me on this, iv been on the receiving end of a mob boss okay and I wasn’t even the target, just a side game to keep their man in on the game” God if it hadn’t been for Joker she would have been dead. Pushing the memory away she let out a deep breath, offering him a tight smile, “But the money is damn worth it right”
“Do mob bosses even have emotions?” She questioned with a raise of her brow. Letting out a deep breath she settled back into seat, savouring the taste of her coffee, the thing had already gone cold. Great.
“Then what the hell is he doing working the streets?” She questioned looking over at Cole with a furrow of her brow. He was right though, it really was something she could use to her advantage, for god sake her brother was a street racer, not that she was getting him involved in this at all. “I mean what the hell does he have you do anyway”

Cole quirked an eyebrow. So she did have rather extensive experience with these guys, that made him feel a little better about her tackling this endeavor, what didn't make him feel better was her story of being on the wrong end of the stick. "That'll be the day I'm not looking forward to." He knew that chances were he was going to have to make an escape, he just hoped that would later rather than sooner.
"Now that I think about it, I don't see how they could." He chuckled at the thought, and they sure as hell didn't have a conscious either. He had to wonder how they could even sleep at night.
"He told me that the government shut them down on some of their biggest profitable projects, and they heard that street racing around here can turn a pretty decent sum of money if you're good. That's what he told me anyway." He sighed. "I drive in races where they bet their own money. Usually it's a lot. I win, and I keep a healthy chunk of it. I lose, and well, I don't really want to think what happens." He looked away.

“You keep your head down do as they tell you when you tell them and maybe you wont find out” She prayed he didn’t because she didn’t want to imagine what the real thing was like. Laughing as he agreed with her she slowly nodded her head “Suppose its how they get the job done” She stated with a shrug of her shoulder, how else could they do everything they did.
“Interesting” He muttered tapping her finger on the table, this conversation was turning more and more in her favour the longer they spoke “SO he wants money, and he’s going to want to ensure any future deals he has going are going to stay active and not get shut down” Smirking ever so slightly she nodded her head. She had this, she so had this.
“Where does he frequent?” She questioned with a raise of her brow, before hailing down a waitress they could both have a fresh coffee, “In fact don’t bother telling me ill figure that out on my own, one more way to ensure your name doesn’t get dragged into this”

Cole sighed and looked down at the table, he'd like to believe it was as simple as following orders, but he knew it wasn't. "I figure that sooner or later, this job is going to bit me in the ass, no matter what I do. I've got to predict when that's going to happen, and be ten thousand miles away before they even know I'm gone." That sure sounded a lot easier than it actually would be.
He nodded. "Pretty much, especially now that he's lost a few deals in the past. He needs to make sure the few sheep he has right now are in the pen." He sat back in his chair, slowly folding the napkin on the table. He was telling her way too much, but he was beyond the point of return, so why stop now.
He slightly shrugged and stated honestly. "He really doesn't show himself in public much, besides certain Italian restaurants." He chuckled, certain was definitely the key word there. "I wouldn't try to find him without an arranged meeting. Talk to Mia since she seems close to Stephano, get a meeting arranged that way."

“Well good luck with that” She stated “Im sure you know how to stay hidden, but if not, im pretty good at it” She stated gently. She had to learn, on the road herself, always staying one step ahead of the one person who had been after her. She had learned how to keep her head down and her footsteps hidden.
“So the government has been shutting him down, any of his guys been locked up?” She questioned with a raise of her brow. She was surprised at how much information he was giving her, but then he had been in deep the second he had come out with the name, might as well go all out right.
“No showing up unannounced got it” So now she was going to have to set up a meeting through Mia, less chance of her getting shot on sight though and that was always a good thing. Lifting her dark hues she eyed him for a moment, her head tilting to the side. “Your loyal to this guy, so why are you telling me all of this?” She questioned raising a brow slightly. She didn’t understand why he had been so open and honest with her. It was odd, normally she had to be a lot more persuasive then she had been in this conversation.

Cole shrugged and took in a breath. "I'd imagine there's a few of his guys behind bars, he hasn't told me of any but why would he? The Mob always has guys in jail, that's why they constantly need new men." He took a drink of his coffee and set it back down.
Cole almost burst out laughing when she said he was loyal to the mobster. If anything he would consider himself rather disloyal. He didn't support any of Stephano's practices, despised his lifestyle, and generally thought of him as a very wicked, heartless individual. Of course though, he'd put on the look that he was loyal. Leaning in towards her to be sure no one had a chance of overhearing, he said. "I ain't loyal to him in the slightest, he isn't loyal to me, so I'm not to him. I've seen how he deals with members of his mob that are supposedly close to him, I have zero respect of any kind for him. The only reason I do what I do is for money and popularity. That's it." He leaned back in his seat and studied her reaction.

Faye nodded her head, “Which means the law and the government will be closing in on him, wanting to go after him, won’t be long before they do” She muttered. Could work in her favour she supposed, but there was no guarantee.
Her brow quirked ever so slightly, clearly she had read the situation wrong, wasn’t surprising, and perhaps this guy was a hell of a lot smarter than she had given him credit for. Licking her lips she let out a deep breath as she looked at him. Letting out a breath she slowly nodded her head. “Isnt there some other way you can get that then? Without risking your life for a guy you clearly don’t respect” Tilting her head to the side she let out a deep breath.

"Exactly. They hit him once, they'll hit him again." Cole had to give her credit, she thought just like a lawyer, it became fairly obvious she was who she said she was.
Admittedly, she was probably right, there were much better ways to make a successful living than this, but that didn't discount the fact that he felt he was forced into it. "It's a little more complicated than that. It was a little bit like either I took this job, or I would have to quit racing all together." He sighed and looked at his coffee. "I'm starting to realize how stupid I was to take it though." He shook his head.
