Leon stepped out of the garage, letting out a low whistle as his gaze settled on the wreck of a car in front of him.Shaking his head he headed over to the tow truck, signing the papers he moved out of the way, waiting for the car to be dropped into the bay. Moving over to the car he let out another low whistle, shaking his head. Some people just shouldn’t be allowed to own such beautiful cars. Especially when they didn’t know how to drive them, and clearly the owner of this car hadn’t got a clue how to handle speed.
Quickly looking over the damage he sighed, it wasn’t a complete right of, but it did need a lot of work going into it. The front end was totalled, the axles were gonna need repairing. Wasn’t like he couldn’t do it, cus he could but he’d just started over, unless it was his skyline. Brushing a hand over his neck he set about to work. It was gonna be a long day, but he was gonna enjoy the pay check at the end of it.
The woman that came into the garage a couple of hours later, didn’t belong in a garage like his, she was a high class beauty, which made him wonder how the hell she had got the name of a place like the one he was working in. it was Dom’s place, but with his friend being behind bars (again) He was doing his damn hardest to keep it running. Good thing Dom’s reputation continued out on the streets or he’d be out of business.
After he walked the woman what was going to need to be done, and how much it was gonna cost he returned back to the car.

Dom couldn't believe it had taken him this long to finally get to his old shop. He wasn't sure if it was still up and running, and if it was, who was running it. But regardless, he had to at least see the old place, even if it had evolved into a total dump.
Admittedly, he was a little surprised when he arrived in his charger and saw the garage bay open. He was even more surprised when he saw cars in there, even getting serviced. He stepped into the entrance of the bay in full view, and let a slight grin come to his face when he saw his old friend diligently working on a battered piece of automotive engineering.
"I should've known you wouldn't have let the place cave." He said as he walked over and gave Leon a bear hug.

A familiar grumble filled the air and stopped what he was doing for a moment, his brow creasing. It had almost sounded like Dom’s ride. Which was impossible because the last he had checked Dom was behind bars. Shrugging of the sound he returned back to what he was doing, working on the car in hopes to get it up and running quickly.
That voice though wasn’t a voice he could deny. Straightening up from the car he turned to eye his old friend, “Well look what the cat dragged in” He laughed, allowing his old friend to pull him into a bear hug. Clapping his hand against his friends back he moved away from his friend.
“How the hell are you a free man?” He questioned wiping his hands on a rag. Heaving in a deep breath he barked out a laugh “This place is home Dawg”

Dom's expression broke out in a smile as he pulled back from Leon. Good lord it had been awhile. He was proud of him for keeping up the shop, and staying busy by the looks of it. Everything looked exactly like it did several years ago.
As usual, that typical question was asked. "Ask Mia, she arranged it." He said glancing at the car Leon was wrenching on. "Glad to see that never changed." He offered Leon a smile.

His gaze snapped over to Dom, Mia had arranged it…alone? He felt guilty for the amount of time he hadn’t been there for Mia, but with the shit that had gone down, he had done what he had to, kept his head down and his nose out of trouble. “You free?” He questioned eyeing his friend with a raise of his brow. Sure the guy was stood in front of him but that didn’t mean a damn thing when it came to them.
Shifting to lean against the car he chuckled slightly “Never could” He stated with a shrug of his shoulder. Pushing away from the car he moved towards the back where the fridge was, reaching inside he reached for two coranas, tossing one over to Dom, before uncapping his own and taking a large swallow.
“What do you need Dawg?”

"In the jailers eyes yeah." He almost had to chuckle at that answer, that had to have been the first time he ever said that by the enforcement's rule he was free. Usually he was free because the simply couldn't catch up with him. "There's a family friend of ours who Mia worked with." He answered dryly.
It was about time he had a corona, sure he had a couple back home, but this was one with his old pal. He took a large swig before returning his eyes to Leon.
"Leon, what do you know about the mafia's down here? Do they show their face much?" He thought maybe there was an exterior way he could make his deal with the mob work out, but he needed all the info he could get.

So Dom was free, and not in the sense of free because he was running and he hadn’t been caught yet but free in the eyes of the law and Mia had done it. The sound of a family friend though made him raise a brow and shift around nervously, wondering what the hell swaying power this family friend had.
Dark eyes snapped up to his friend, “To stay away from them Dawg” Scrubbing a hand over the back of his neck, worry instantly started up in the back of his neck. The mob, that was never good, he remembered all to well what happened last time the mob was involved in something. Taking another, larger swing of the beer in his hand he let out a deep sigh, this conversation was gonna require something stronger.
“Middle men. You don’t get to see the head honcho without going through a middle man first”

"I didn't find them, they found me." He explained. He would've never talked to mafia on his own, that was just one complication he didn't need or want. Regardless, he was in this situation now, and he needed to clear it before anyone got hurt.
As Leon talked, Dom got the sense that maybe he knew a few of these middle men, or at least where they were planted. If he could watch them for a bit, and see if there was a task he could get himself involved in that would be quick and relive his obligation, then that was what his plan was.
"Where do you find these middle men? Are any of them out working the streets?" He asked though he had no idea if Leon had even been around there enough lately to know.

Leon nodded his head, now why didn’t that surprise him, the mob were good at that, getting in your head and recruiting you when you were down and you didn’t really know what the hell you were doing. Anger boiled through him at the thought they had gone through Mia to get through Dom. She would have done anything to get her brother out and it seemed she had, and now look where they were. It endangered the whole family.
“To many are working the streets dawg, hell if I know why” Shrugging a shoulder he threw back the rest of his corona, and headed back to the fridge for another one, pulling out one for Dom for whenever his old friend was finished.
“You got a plan?” He questioned as he looked over at him. He really didn’t want Dom involved in the situation even if he was already in it.

"Too many, eh?" Dom said in between corona gulps. He thought there was maybe something he could along his own line of work that would pay off his debt, and if they were involved in the streets, then that was right up his alley. Whether that'd be back to truck jacking, or even driving, he wondered if it just so happened that Stephano had some hands in that.
He tossed the empty glass bottle away and took the fresh one. "That's why I'm here Leon, I'm building a plan." He ripped the cap off and took a swig. "I need to take care of this before shit goes down."

Leon nodded “Rumour on the street is a lot of high end races are going down”
Folding an arm over his chest he slowly nodded his head. Trust Dom to get himself out of jail and then get himself into trouble right after. Scrubbing the back of his head ever so slightly “You know this guys name I can have my sister dig into his past, try and figure something out” He muttered and that was exactly as far as his sister was getting when it came to involvement.
“We can stake out the races…go from there man, its your best bet” He stated looking over at his old time friend “You gotta get in and out of this quick though dawg”

Dom studied Leon. "How high end?" Now he could piece together what the mob was doing on the streets, they were probably trying to make a quick buck here and there, maybe even by racing. Since when did the mob care about street racing?
Dom's demeanor changed slightly when Leon mention his sister, he was not going to be happy when he found out Faye has already been crawling all over this. "She talked to me already, she's got this idea that she's gonna talk her way through the godfather and bring me out of this." He sighed and took a swig. "That's another reason why I gotta get this done quick before she does something stupid."
This was one of those rare times where Dom really didn't know what his best bet was. He just didn't know how you properly deal with mafia. So he conceding to Leon's suggestion. "If you think so man, if I can find out what their business is in the streets...Maybe I could put something together." He rubbed his forehead.
