Momentarily distracted by Leon moving in between them Brian didn't jump across the table to choke Jack. "You did what??? Real smart, stupid ass!" Brian raised his voice. He couldn't help it. Jack had just pushed it too far too many times and this time with cops on their ass it was just plain idiocy. "What kind of an idiot does something like that. Are we really related?"

Mia listened with rapt attention she didnt want to leave, they had just become settled and her and Brian were ment to be moving in togther, starting a life, but if thats all they could do then it was what they had to do.
She turned back to the pancakes in front of her and flipped them over, quickly plating them and moving to make more, she turned, plate in hand and placed it inbetween Brian and Leon.
"Syrups in the cupboard"She said more for Jack then Brian or Leon because they both knew where they were. She stopped behind Brian placing her hand onto his shoulder.
"Need i remind Mr undercover FBI agent who got into a fight with Vince the first night and then gave Dom up"She flicked her gaze over to Jack it had been a stupid move, but given the situation she wouldnt have expected anything else from him.

Brian was pretty pissed and now Mia had to say that. "Thanks for backing me up, Mia!" He shot her an angry look before turning back to Jack. He could imagine the smirk on Leon's face without even looking at him.

"What else do you guys want?"She questioned.

Jack almost jumped in his seat at Brian's angry outburst and was now more than wide awake. He could feel his own anger boiling under his skin. Yeah it was a stupid move, he knew that, he always knew it, but the cop was asking for it and Jack was just never good at keeping his mouth shut. Nor was he good at admitting his fault, if he ever did. "Are we related?! Damn, I wish we weren't. Then I wouldn't be in this fucking mess in the first place!" He spat back. "I can't believe you'd even for a second think I'd spill the beans."
He eased up when Mia intervened. The last thing she needed was a fight in her own house after yesterday. He stuck a fork in a pancake with a little more force than necessary and shoved the thing on his plate, shooting Brian a look. While he started cutting it, he couldn't help but smirk at the unexpected back-up from Mia. "Yeah bro, I'm like that." He repeated mockingly. "You should've known that."

Mia turned at the stove shooting Jack a scathing look, she raised a brow, face turning serious as she looked at him.
"Iv just stopped him beating your ass, i wont do it again" She shook her head turning back to the stove and removed the bacon, butterd the two cobs in front of her and layerd the bacon onto it, smoothering brown sauce on top and then placed the plate in front of Leon.

Brian completely disregarded Mia's question about the food. How could she stay so calm? Jack's words hit a nerve though. As many as times as Jack had fucked up Brian had felt guilty for dragging him into some kind of danger. First the gang in the warehouse, now busting a convict out of jail He knew very well that the fault on his side was much more serious than Jack's constant mouthing off. Nevertheless he was sick of it. "I'm fucking sick and tired of you getting trouble because of your big mouth? Where did you get that from? Why don't you use your head to think instead of wearing cool hairdos for once?" He pushed himself away from the table, stayed seated though. "This is serious shit, Jack. If you make one mistake..." he pointed his finger at his brothers face. "...they'll have your ass." he could feel his chest tighten. The thought of Jack going to prison for a very long time worried him.
He shook his head and looked at the others. "I don't know. Maybe we should head out of here. Instead of having a cosy breakfast we should be on the way to Canada by now.

Mia turned leaning agasint the counter her brow creased "Is that really the right thing to be doing"She questioned, pushing away and stepping closer.
"Doesnt that just scream guilty" She shook her head "We're all in this Bri, we all knew what we were doing, we're all risking screwing up, not just Jack" She let out a steady breath.
"But maybe your right, your the FBI agent after all"

Leon looked between Jack and Brian with an annoyed yet amused expression, it was like Vince and Brian in the early years all over again. He bit back the retorts that were forming in his mind, simply because Mia looked pissed, Mia never got pissed, and if she did every one was in trouble
"We just gotta calm down, think this through with a rational head" He looked over at Brian and then back to Jack, daring even of them to argue with him again, he didnt have a problem of yelling and throwing a few punches if he had to.
"And nothing we decide to do is gonna happen on an empty stomach"

"I know this is serious shit, Brian. I knew it the moment we had to drag your bleeding ass out of the wreck." Jack growled through clenched teeth. He shook his head, pushing the plate away without even having taken one bite. Suddenly he just wasn't all that hungry anymore.
He took in a deep breath to calm himself down before he shot Mia a half-assed smile. "You're right, I'm sorry. Ok?" He glanced over at Brian, meaning the apology meant for him aswell. Shit was hard enough to push out of his mouth as it was.
He listened to the proposal of moving to Canada and to Mia's objections. "Isn't that a little.. I don't know, rash? They haven't got shit on us yet."

On one hand Brian didn't care for Jack's apology all that much because Jack had no intentions of changing. On the other hand it felt good. "Allright." He scooted a little closer again. of course he had noticed the looks Mia and Leon were giving him. Of course he knew everything was mostly his fault because he had shot at the dashboard and cause the driver to crash the bus. And of course he knew that he was the one who should apologize. In a much softer, lower, rueful tone he replied. "Sorry, I'm just on edge."
Jack was right. When it was necessary he was there for him. "Yeah and about dragging my ass out of the bus." he cleared his throat and looked from one to the other. "I just want to say thank you all. I owe you...everything." His eyes wandered to his girlfriend. "Most of all you."
His hand reached for Jack plate and fork and he shoved a piece of pancake in his mouth and smiled.

Mia smiled and moved back over to him, resting her hand on his shoulder, she bent slightly at the knees dropping a kiss to the top of his head, she didnt say anything, because she didnt need to, he would have done the same for any of them, she didnt need his thanks, and she knew all of the others felt the same.
"Least someones enjoying my work"she laughed shooting her gaze over to Jack once more

He stopped chewing. "I wouldn't call it enjoying! Or are you talking about the pancakes?" Brian looked at her slightly confused.

Jack face-palmed himself, chuckling slightly at Brian's comment. "Man, she must have drugged you up real good. Of course she means the pancakes."
He pulled an empty plate to himself and, since he was now forkless, grabbed the pancake with his hand. He rolled it up and leaned back while taking a bite. Leon was right. Empty stomach's never helped anyone.

Brian turned slightly red while shoving another piece in his mouth. "Oops, yeah, maybe I'm the wrong person to do any planning this morning." Although the morphine wasn't helping much any more it wasn't completely out of his system yet.
Another bite followed. Brian was very hungry since he hadn't eaten anything for almost 24 hours.
"Did any of you watch the news? What about the guards? Were they saying anything about us?"
Suddenly it hit him like lightning. The FBI had all kinds of technical equipment including directional microphones. "Shit!" he showed the others to be quiet and got up to have a look out of the window for suspicious looking vans. He couldn't see any. "We'd better watch what we're saying. Who knows who's listening."

Letty woke up to the sound of Jack's voice, startled for a minute when she realized that she was still calling out Dom's name. She had been leaning against him while they slept, and she watched him get up from the couch and go into the other room.
She didn't move from her spot on the couch lying there for a long while and going over her dream in her head. It had been so real, but of course there was no way that it had actually happened.
She let out a long sigh running her hands over her face, and sat up on the couch. She could smell Mia cooking breakfast in the kitchen, but she didn't have much of an appetite this morning.
In the other room it sounded like Brian and Jack were arguing about something but the sound was muffled from the living room. So much shit had gone down and still she didn't have Dom back, hadn't that been the point of their mission yesterday?
She stood from the couch, and walked toward the front window looking out into the street. She could picture Dom's car as it sped away with the cops trailing after him. For some reason she felt as though something crutial was missing.
There was a flyer for Harry's lying on the coffee table, the back was blank and so she grabbed a pen from the desk in the far corner, and began to write.
The sound of the other's talking from the other room drifted over her as she worte her letter.
Hey guys, I know this is sudden and unexpected of me, but I feel that it is something that I must do. I want you to know that I'm leaving for a little while, I won't say where I'm headed only that I don't want you to worry, I've got some things that I've got to take care off. I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I just want you to know that I'm glad that despite everything that happened yesterday we were able to safely get Dom out and the cops off our tails even if it's just for now. Brian make sure you take care of Mia, and make sure Jackie stays out of trouble. And Leon don't make your sister worry about you. Until I see you again you have my love...
Love Always, Letty
She put the letter down on the table moving silently toward the door, grabbing her keys from the hook by the door. In the other room she could hear the others laughter, knowing this way was best.
She never was really good with goodbyes.

Mia laughed patting Brian on the shoulder before sliding down onto his knee and grabbed a forkful of pancake of Jack's plate. She stuck out her tongue, turned and gave Brian a kiss and then rested into him.
"We...."she turned brow furrowed "Whos just opened the door"

Leon turned in his seat before pushing himself away from the table entering the living room in two quick strides, gaze sweeping around, door shut, Letty gone, he reached into his pocket, reaching for his phone when a peice of paper on the table caught his gaze.

The others had followed Leon into the hallway and then living room listening to him as he read Letty's message out loud.
Brian was the first one to find his voice again. "That's just great. Another one, who's acting so mature." He lifted his hands above his head and rubbed his uncombed hair, which was sticking up in all kinds of directions, in despair. Anybody who knew Letty also knew that she wouldn't sit still and wait around for Dom.
Brian sighed. "Typical Letty. I hope she finds him."
