She followed his gaze as he look at the houses around him. He was right people come and go in this neighborhood. “Not my case. It´s still a nice and quiet neighborhood,” She nodded accepting his ´thank you´ and took the clothes he once wore in the hospital. Mia barely heard his voice, she was more than sure it was because Brian was the one answering the door.
He waited for a moment before he continue to talk, still his explanation about not killing or stealing from people yet he did things that weren’t legal. She didn’t need or want his explanation about why he came here looking for her, but he looked like he needed to get it off his chest with her. Why? All she wanted for him was to get on that bike and disappear because she was sure she would never need his help, right?
“I do not know what you want me to say about that…” she look up at him, being honest with him that was all she could do.

So Mia wasn't giving him the boot or angry yell right away. She wasn't thrilled to see him either, as Noah could tell. “I do not know what you want me to say about that…” He heard her say. Of course she didn't. "You don't have to say anything. I just wanted you to know because you were nice to me...against your better judgement, I'd say. Just wanted you to know that you didn't help a bad criminal." Noah didn't see himself as criminal. he was just bending the laws whenever it needed to be done to help people like Piper and Jack. Of course there was good money in it for him but he was still helping people, right?
He let his gaze go back to her home where whoever it was was most likely wondering what she was doing. To come to the point he unzipped his leather jacket and pulled a pink paper from it. "Here, that's for you to show my gratitude. She's been mine for a while now and I really like her. Hope you do, too." He handed Mia the pink slip to his motorbike and then the keys. "You'll like her. She'll get you to work in half the time." Then he gave her another smile and turned to walk away. One more time he turned back and added. "It was good seeing you. I own a club downtown, called "The Loft", come by some time." With that he made his way down the sidewalk leaving his bike and Mia behind.

“No, Noah you don´t have to do this…” she started to say but he was already handing her the pink slip and his keys. He turned around to walk away from her home.
"You'll like her. She'll get you to work in half the time." This isn’t what she was looking for. To accept his ´thank you´ was one thing but for him to give her his bike.
“Noah wait…” but he never turned back at the mention of his name. She exhaled loudly, and made her way inside the house holding the pink slip and the keys in her hands. Mia took a seat while Cole and Brian were talking; lost in her own thoughts she placed the pink paper and the keys on the table and just stared at it for awhile still trying to wrap her mind around what just happen outside.
´The Loft´ she heard of that place before. Maybe she would pay him a visit, maybe not. Was this some coincidence of him bumping into her at the hospital?

By the time Mia came back inside Brian had finished his coffee and was starting to get antsy about the guy at the door. Scratch that, he'd been weary about him from second one. By now it was bring back yesterdays headache. There was something about him that he didn't like aside from the fact that he was talking to his girl friend. His frown disappeared when Mia came back. She looked confused though. As if something had surprised her. "What did that guy want, Mia? Did he bother you?"Brian felt it was his duty to take care of her when his eyes fell on the pink piece of paper and the keys. Why on earth did she bring in a document of car ownership? "What's this?" He turned it to read the details on it and then gave her a bewildered look. "Honda VTX1300T? A motorbike?" This didn't make any sense. He raised his brows and lightly touched her hand. "What's going on, baby?"

Mia blinked hearing Brian´s voice and feeling the touch of his hand. “No, he didn’t bother me…”
She picked up the keys and played with them for a moment, before she started to let him know who exactly Noah was. “A few days ago while I was in the hospital the guy you saw outside entered, he looked like he was running, he was also sweating profusely and ask for a restroom, and of course he went away before I had a chance to let him know where it was,” She set the keys on the table.
“Two cops follow his action two seconds later, asking if I had seen him. I lied, they went out still searching for him and I made my way into the locker room since it was the first door I figured he might be in, I found him there and it turned out that he was a friend of Dom from high school. To make the story short I offered him some scrubs and pretend he was a doctor, later as the cops started searching a few doors away from where we were I gave him this,” pointing to the folded black sweatpants and blue shirt.
“Today. He came to thank me for saving him and he gave me his bike. But… he does illegal stuff, his words were: ´I'm not sure why but I really wanted you to know that I'm not a criminal, not in a way that you might think, I don't steal or murder people, nothing like that. I just... help people and that's not always legal.´. He also owns a bar downtown,”

The stroy Mia told him sounded like something straight out of his own, Cole's or Jack's life. It could have been one of them running into the hospital to hide. For a moment a chuckle escaped him but it soon died down. "You have a way of surrounding yourself in half-criminals." He said with a glance at Cole. Then his expression quickly became more serious as he rubbed his beaten face but flinched under his own touch. "I knew something was off about that guy. If he's running from the cops he's not just 'helping people'". Then he rememember how many times he had gotten caught up in police trouble when it wasn't even his own fault. Maybe the same was true for Dom's old school friend. "I'd give that bike back...who knows, maybe he's just trying to get rid of a piece of evidence." Then again Mia knew his name and where to find him and could easily lead cops to him.

"You have a way of surrounding yourself in half-criminals." She didn’t know whether she should duck her head or wince when she heard his words. “I know, I know” she look up at the ceiling, this couldn’t be happening, she knew she had to give the bike back to Noah.
Who knew? Maybe the bike was stolen although he owned a club downtown and she was sure had the money and more questions started to form in her mind. Was the money coming from the customers he had at the bar? Or was it because of that illegal stuff he did?
“I will give him his bike back. How do you feel about going to a bar on a Saturday night?” a slight smile appear only for a second as she look at him.

It really wasn’t Mia’s fault that many men she knew including her own brother had a tendency to engage in criminal activities of various kinds. Brian refrained from asking whether her dad had even gone down that road as well. “Not your fault. Can’t help what we do…can you?”
“I can ask a friend to run the registration and see if anything is wrong with the bike. If not…you might as well keep it. It’s pretty cool actually.” The thought of Mia on one of those was kind of hot and Brian wouldn’t mind riding one himself as long as he didn’t own a decent car. “I’d go to a bar any day of the week with you but not to his…that wouldn’t end well, you know. I want to be a cop again. Meeting a criminal is not a great free time activity. Plus I might have the kids this weekend.” His expression became a little excited even though it meant not having alone time with Mia. “If I can somehow manage to get rid of all the signs of our fight so Mira won’t get second thoughts.”
OOC: It’s still the day after the run in with jack.

She could see he wanted to ask more but she let it go for now. “Asking a friend wouldn´t be a bad idea,” so far he agreed to go with her to the bar but now that he knew it was Noah who owned the bar he took a step back.
Mia nodded not trying to push the idea of him to go with her. Now, that he was going to have some time with his kids, she might as well sneak out to the bar. That is if Mira allowed Brian to spend time with his kids, if he stayed with them and didn’t brought them to the fort, not that she didn’t want to see his children but seeing how bad his face looked, she was sure that Mira was going to ask a ton of questions and was not going to let him out of her sight with her kids.
Then there was the not so good side of things, if he find out where she (Mia) was then he was going to “kill her” but then again, she had to be prepared with extra clothes in her bag and some other stuff. She would have to wait now, she was taking a big risk, things could go wrong, but she was not keeping that bike.
