Joker paced back and forth slowly in hotel room. He gently bumped his phone against his thigh as he walked. "This is a joke..." He said with a sincere look on his face. He'd called in favors, even had to offer some deeds himself. Trying to get to the bottom of this is going to be just as bad as when I left the crew. He thought to himself and sat down on the balcony overlooking the beach. Joker pulled up the note pad with Jack's number on it. He dialed it in and paused before pressing send.

"Hey Jack, it's Walter. I'm in Monaco and we need to talk...I want to help figure out what happened, and see if we can get some closure over this." Behind him sat a stack of files from every government database he had access to, a file lay open with Dieselli's face and a large caliber round laying across it. His name etched into it. "I think I found a link."

Exhaling a thin stream of smoke from the corner of his mouth, Jack watched the tip of his cigarette glow in the growing dusk and sighed. It had been a long day and he had a feeling there were longer one's still to come. For now though, from his vantage point on the roof of the garage, he'd take the quiet for what it was while he watched over his world. From the overly large yard surrounding the expensive villa, to the glistening blue pool in front of the building, this was all his now - in a way it never could have been had he not made the choices he had. But were all of the riches really worth the high costs?

Fuck no...

The ring of his cell phone jerked him out of his increasingly dark reverie and he put it up to his ear without looking at the id screen.

"O'Conner."

"Hey Jack, it's Walter. I'm in Monaco and we need to talk...I want to help figure out what happened, and see if we can get some closure over this."

Hearing the name on the other end of the line, the sleep deprived racer had to resist the urge to not to crush the offending machine in his hand. How Walter had gotten his number, he didn't know. Nor did he really care. After all, it was probably nothing to find a new cell phone number for someone with the resources he had.

"I think I found a link."

"Yeah? Better be a good one. Otherwise, you know where to shove it."

"I think Dieselli's linked to what happened to your brother. I want to go after him, find out how and why." Joker leaned forwards in the chair, "I want to start patching things up, I jacked up when I got your brother pinned. I'm sorry, I really am. You want to settle our debt after this, I'll let you. But if you want to get back some revenge in for this. Let's get to the bottom of it, I'm not playing games anymore, I'm not with the company, and you know I took a bullet trying to clear your brother the first time. What I did for him I will do for you." Joker rocked to his feet and made his way to the fridge, calmly he flipped the tab of a beer and started drinking.

His mind was racing after his talk with Dom, he had to make things right no matter the cost.
