Cole was about to blow up. "My big mouth huh? Interesting coming from a guy who just an hour ago dissed a racer you never went up against." Cole clapped mockingly. "Yeah, bravo Brian, you're telling me what will get us in trouble when we wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for you." At this point, Cole was beyond pissed.

"I don't give a damn whats going on. What I care about it keeping the three of us alive." Mira reached up and grabbed the two of them by their shirt collars again, pulling them down to her level. "I don't care what or who started this. You two need to grow the fuck up. The three of us are in this together. Cole don't blame this on Brian, you had the choice to walk away from all of this and you chose to stay. Brian easy up on Cole, he gave his life up to help you. We have to get along and trust each other or the four of us are all going back to the U.S. in chains... or caskets." She let them go. "Get your act together. Your supposed to be friends..." She felt tears for in her eyes, stupid horomones.

Cole's words stung like a bee because they were true. Brian already had a really bad conscience for putting them all in this terrible situation because of one mistake...not waiting for backup. But hearing it from Cole made him snap. If it wasn't for Mira in between them Cole would have had a broken nose by now since the ex-cop was pretty good at breaking other peoples noses as his colleague at the FBI painfully had to learn.
"Screw you!" Was all he go out before Mira grabbed him and janked him away from Cole. He winced in pain and gave in in order to safe himself from more pain. Even though he was way to pissed off to listen to Mira her words made sense and he silently had to agree. Huffing he nodded. "Unfortunately she's right...lucky for your pretty face!"

"Lucky for your dignity!" Cole fired back. He had enough of this. Without another word, he turned back towards his parking space, barged his way through the crowd, and opened the door to the evo. He noticed Neela giving him an odd look. He gave a "I'll explain later" look back to her. He started the car and drove off, he figured he needed some time away from Brian for at least a little while, but damn this was stressful.

OOC: Too bad Mira staepped in, I would have loved to knock you on your butt;-)
"Brian chose to ignore Cole's last comment and watched him rush off. Now he was one step ahead of Brian. He had already raced and his foot in the door. Slowly he felt himself calm down when Cole was gone and the looks turn away from them. He could practically feel Mira stare at him but 'He started' probably wouldn't go down to well.

Mira crossed her arms over her chest and tapped her foot. " Are you gonna explain what happened and why you are so pissed at Cole?" She was pissed at both Brian and Cole. Was what they were fighting about really that important, that they would start a huge fight and risk exposing them to everyone?

The only person who could intimidate Brian right now was the woman in front of him. His girlfriend because she held the key to his happiness so he toned down the anger a little and replied. "He told that girl over there...what's really going on as far as I heard and sayshe knows her. I 'talked' to him about it and things just got a little out of hand." He shot one look back at the dark haired, exotic looking girl and then turned to Mira. "Let's get out of here. I'm not racing tonight. I need to change the color first. There's a photographer around, too."

*Time jump a few days later*
Cole rolled into the underground parking garage once more, if anything there were more cars tonight than last time. His goal tonight was to make some serious money and see if he could find that CCXR he saw on Kira's camera the other day. He found a decent parking spot by a couple Subaru STI's and backed in, the STI owners were giving him a look, probably since he was in an evo. He hopped out, nodded to the STI owners and looked around for any signs of the car or anyone he knew.

BayLeigh stood against her car, she decided to bring the R34 tonight. She had parked with some of the other Skylines and some Silvias were there. She was talking to the owners. Some paint was still on her hands from fixing Cole's hood, she hoped it wouldn't be noticed. She looked around briefly as she listen to the people, speaking fluently in Japanese to them. She heard one of them mention some expensive exotic cars and she hoped she'd get to see the cars.

A few rows across Cole spotted Bayleigh's yellow R34, and soon after Bayleigh herself. Cole spent a few minutes walking over to her. "I hope the hood didn't give you too much trouble." He said once he finally reached her. "I thought the R34 was too precious to bring out here?" He laughed.

BayLeigh smiled and pushed herself of the car as Cole came over. She laughed lightly and held up her hands, "I kinda played with the paint some. It was pretty easy to fix though, looks like it was never there now. Of course she is, but I needed to bring her out, she was due for some road time. "

Cole saw Bayleigh's black fingertips and chuckled. "Well I really appreciate it, thanks for everything." He looked back towards his evo and noticed a few of the STI guys inspecting it. "Excuse me for a second." Cole walked back to his car to make sure nothing funky was happening. When he got there, one of them said something in Japanese to him. He tried to indicate that he didn't understand, then another one said to him in broken english. "We challenge you to race." He pointed to the three STI's next to him. Cole thought for a moment, racing a bunch of STI's sounded fun. In fact, he figured he might as well get to business right away. "Okay then, ready when you are." The three men smirked and walked back to their respective cars. Cole briefly looked over his car and made sure nothing was done to it. "I really need to stop leaving my ride alone." He thought to himself.

BayLeigh nodded as Cole spoke and left her. She went back to talking to the other guys around her. She considered flirting with them, especially since one of them mentioned going against her R34, but at the same time she didn't want to, just in case anyone was watching her. She kept an eye on Cole as she listened.

A few minutes later the STI drivers came back over to Cole. "What it going be?" The same guy said in very broken english. Cole pulled out the two grand he had, he was that confident he could take them. Seeing that the money was in U.S dollars, they seemed to be talking amongest each other on how to match that in Yen. Finally, they each pulled out 160 thousand Yen and placed it in the hand of the same guy who organized the race last time. Cole put his 2 grand in with it. One of the STI guys nodded over to the start line, and all three of them climbed in to their cars. As the three boxer engines growled their way to the staging area, Cole hopped in his car and followed. In the staging area, they were once again briefed and giving GPS directions. The race would be a 10-mile long run through all the backroads nearby the area. The four cars lined up on the line. Cole was a little concerned that they would work together to beat him, but they each put in their own money on it, so he wasn't too worried. The flag girl stood by the left side of the cars and motioned for each driver to get ready. Cole revved the 2.0L 4B11 to 5500 rpm and held it there. The girl dropped her arms and all four cars shot off the line, Cole and a blue STI pulled out infront of the group. He let the STI take the lead and followed him through the garage and into the street. Cole maintained his postion for the first few miles, seeing the two cars behind them were falling back. A wide left hander was approaching fast, and Cole decided to attempt the pass. He went to the left of the STI, who in return blocked him, Cole just kept going farther left until the STI was all the way to the left side of the road. Cole smiled as he quickly swung wide right and cut through the turn, getting a much better angle than the STI and managed to pass him on the left. However he carried a little too much momentum and as a result, got way too wide on the next right hander, allowing the STI to slip by. "Damnit." He muttered. For the next few miles, the two continued to swap positions, Cole realized this wasn't going to be an easy race, and he couldn't afford to lose it. As they approached the garage, Cole looked for an opening to get by but it wasn't there, he followed the STI into the top level of the garage, he would have to make the pass on one of the last turns. Soon there were on back down to the finishing level, Cole right on the STI's bumper. Three turns were left, and Cole decided to try to get his opponent off-line thorugh them so he could sneak by on the final turn. He went to the outside in the first two turns, which made the STI run a medicore line. Into the last harpin u-turn left hander of the race, Cole brought his fender to the right rear quarter panel of the STI, and then braked early, jamming the ebrake and smashing the clutch in, he threw the car to the left and did a near perfect 180. Ths STI went a little too wide from being off line and Cole had the advantage. He put the gas to the floor and dropped the clutch, spinning the tires a little. He powershifted through 2nd, then 3rd gear, and pulled half a car length on his competitor, crossing the finish line a fender ahead. All the nerves settled down, and Cole had a huge grin on his face, He was now 6 grand richer, and most likely a whole lot more respected. As he got out, he was handed his money and surprisingly the STI driver came over and did a slight bow. Cole smiled at the guy. "Good race."

BayLeigh nodded as the people around her were talking, soon they were talking about the race that just ended. She looked around for Cole, before she saw him the person who organizes the races came over to her. He started speaking to her, asking her if she was up for a race tonight. Apparently someone in a Z wanted a race. He mentioned he look at the car and it wasn't anything special, he knew she'd have the race. She nodded, in a way glad she brought her R34 tonight. She walked over to her car and started looking it over, she then got inside and turned on her laptop, letting it pick up the readings.

"Do you need some real competition?" Brian asked after he knocked on her window. He had just arrived in time to see Cole take home 6g. To be honest he was starting to worry if Cole could actually kick his ass as well. For now that wasn't so important though. Right now they needed to make money and win a car if possible to get rid of their old ones, that they could be recognized by. He dangled his hand in her window in which he held his money. "C'mon, you're going up against that monkey over there and this cripple here...easy money, right?"

Cole was certainly enjoying himself with all the attention he was starting to get. Other drivers would take second looks at him and his car, and more and more girls seemed to be following him. Life was good, in fact in that instant he completely forgot about all their troubles...Until he saw Brian challenging Bayleigh. He quickly ran over from Brian's blind side and pulled him aside. "Do you know what you're getting into bro? She ain't no pushover."

The way Cole was tugging on his arm hurt and made him want to punch him again. "Ouch!" He couldn't help but glare at his friend. Obviously Cole thought this chick was hard to handle but Brian hadn't across many female drivers who could leave him in the dust. "Would you race her?" Cole's answer would determine whether Brian was going to race the girl. Then again how do you back out of a challenge without loosing your face.

Cole was surprised Brian's arm was still hurting that bad. "Sorry." Cole stepped back out of earshot of Bayleigh. "Look I know where you're coming from, I thought the same. But I've heard from both her and several others that she's one of the best around here." Cole sighed. "I wouldn't race her for easy money, besides, she may know something about these mafias around here, she's been here for years. I wouldn't get on her bad side" A sense of urgency was in Cole's voice, but knowing Brian he was probably going to go ahead and do it, he didn't back down from races that easily.

Obviouslky Cole had learned quite a bit in the past two or three days aside from making 8 gs all in all, which was definetly more than Brian had made, whose balance was still at 0. "Thanks for the warning." It was actually meant serious but sounded like one of the many smart ass remarks he usually made. "So I either loose my money or my dignity before I even start...wonderful." Brian frowned. Even he was aware that he wasn't at his best right now and if she was really that good he'd probably loose.
