Hobbs made sure the handcuffs were on tightly before he slightly eased his hold on Brian. Then Brian said "dumbass" and that was enough for Hobbs to shove Brian's face into the asphalt. "You call to prove your innocence to me, then you tell your buddy to run and bolt yourself...You tell me who the dumbass is, O'Conner!" Hobbs then yanked Brian off the ground and lead him to his truck. "What my daughter saw in you is a damn joke." He huffed.

Brian gritted his teeth when Hobbs shoved his face against the tarmac leaving the odd scratch here and there. He knew better than to struggle against the cuffs when he got pulled to his feet because he knew he didn't stand a chance and all that could happen was the steel cutting into his skin or his shoulder getting dislocated so he walked with the bulky agent and simply stated. "She knows who I really am."
His eyes searched the park for Walter but he could only see a few joggers and a couple on the grass watching them and taking pictures from small cameras. "That guy just served me a pretty believable story. "For a moment he contemplated keeping it to himself but simply stated. "Are you corrupt? Did you come here to get rid of me for good?"

"I don't think you know who you really are." Hobbs shook his head. From the little he did know about Brian, he seemed like he would've been a major asset to his police force he worked with. But it was all for waste, whether it was street racing, drugs, money, or whatever, something turned him into the man he was.
What Brian said next made Hobbs want to get physical with him again, but he held back this time and simply turned around to face Brian. "Why in hell would I be the corrupt one, O'Conner?"

After a little rest and time off from "life," Cole needed to get back in a car to satisfy his normal craving for speed, adrenaline, and performance. Whether or not he was healthy enough to do so, he wasn't completely sure. However he needed to keep his skills polished, partially cause he wanted to get back on the scene, and mostly because Han was starting to talk with him about this big "exotic race" that was coming up, whatever that was.
Cole was cruising down to these back roads near an old transit station he had heard about a few days ago. Apparently it was a decent place to do some drifting without being interrupted. Once he figured he was lost enough in the roads for no one to see him, he began having fun with his silvia, throwing the backend into the corner and powersliding through each corner. He felt intoxicated with the noise that RB26 made, it never got old.
As he gracefully completed a few switchback corners and came into a hard right-hander, he threw it down a few gears and clutch-dumped the car mid corner, lighting up the rear tires and creating a cloud of smoke behind him. As he exited the corner, he noticed a huge truck and and two men walking towards it, he was going to fast to make out who they were. Annoyed that this place was occupied, he swung the car around 180 degrees to get a better look and possibly get out of there.

Brian could clearly hear the impressive agents anger rise again so he simply stated. "A little birdy told me. Plus it looks an aweful lot like somebody back home wants to get rid of me."
He didn't put up a fight when the man walked him to the car. "Are you going to keep yoiur word and help me catch the person who really stole those cars and shot the men on that ship or are you going to be satisfied with doing a half assed job and bringing me in." Something suddenly crossed his mind. Walter had stated that he didn't mean for any of the accusations to stick and that Brian would actually walk away from everything. "Can you tell me what I'm actually being charged with currently? The bullets couldn't match my gun." Unfortunately he had fired it once, which was enough to leave traces on his skin.

"I held my end of the deal, you just broke yours." Hobbs stated sternly. "I gave you more chances than I should have to show me what was going on. You did all right, you showed me there's business between you and whoever that fool was."
Hobbs stopped for moment as a black sports car drifted past the alleyway in front of them in a blur. "The hell is that?" He narrowed his eyes. Turning his attention back to Brian, he continued towards the truck and opened the rear door. "Grand theft auto, possession and use of an illegal substance, and luckily for you, 1 count of attempted 1st degree murder. We better not trace the other bullets back to you in any way, O'Conner."

For a moment Brian's attention was on the black drifter. Could Walter be the driver of this car? Unfortunately Hobbs didn't change his course of actions but proceeded to open the back of his truck and tell Brian what the charges against him were. Walter had stated that he made sure none of them would stick to Brian but the list of severe offenses the officer was reciting made his gut drop. He could feel his chest tighten. Obviously most charges were still there and he was in cuffs in a FBI vehicle. The future looked very bleak for ex cop Brian O"Conner right now. If worse came to worst he was facing life in a maximum security facility together with murderers and cop haters. In other words, he was as good as dead.
His face paled as he climbed into the car. "Attempted murder? Listen to me. I was framed. None of these charges are true. Mira and I were this close to catching Walter and the people he worked for when he lured me into this trap, that boat. Ask Mira. her dog was around me all the time. He's a trained K9. He would have sniffed out anything." He gasped for air because his desperate attempt to talk his way out was causing his heart to race.
Suddenly he spotted another car drfiting in the same spot as the one before. Not only was it unsual to be drifting around the city in bright daylight but also the car, that was doing it: A dark grey Bugatti Veyron Supersport. "That's it, that's the stolen car. Go, go, go. Follow that car!" He shouted right in Hobbs ear before he fell into the back seat with his hands still tied behind his back.

Cole quickly drove back to the the strange truck he saw moments ago. It almost looked like some sort of police vehicle...Was someone (or something) waiting for him? Was he in a trap? Cole debated bolting out of there but went against his concerns and drove to the truck. Almost right as he got there, a supercar flew by in the opposite direction so fast he couldn't make out what it was. "It gets stranger by the second." He said to himself. As he pulled behind the truck, he saw a huge bodybuilder-looking guy tossing someone into the backseat of his rig, then he recognized who the unfortunate person was. "Oh shit!" Cole jumped out of the car as if he was going to do something, but frankly he was pretty helpless against someone twice his width and weight. "Brian! What's going on?!" He tried to call over to his friend.

Hobbs grew tired of listening to the same story Brian had been telling him forever. 'I was framed and this and that and blah blah blah.' Before he had a chance to tell Brian off however, he was interrupted by yet another sliding car, and then by some idiot in a black Silvia stopping beside his truck. Suddenly, said idiot jumped out of the car and started yelling at Brian. Hobbs drew his gun. "Who the hell are you?" He barked.

Could that be true? Cole, out of all the people was here, trying to help him? How stupid or selfless was this guy? Running right into the agents arms. His eyes widened as he struggled back out of the car and barely missed the frame with his head. "Lower the gun, Hobbs. No need to shoot an unarmed person." He desperately tried to gesture for Cole to get out which was considerably hard with his arms tied behind his back so when Hobbs held his gun awefully close to his face he changed his approach. "Did you not hear me. That Bugatti is one of the stolen cars. You get that car, you get the real thief! Undo my cuffs and give me the keys!" He practically ordered the agent. "Cole, what the fuck are you waiting for. Get back in your car and catch that bastard. If anyone can it's you."

Cole raised his hands in an attempt to show the apparent agent he had nothing on him. "Look man, I don't know who you are but if you're arresting Brian you got the wrong guy, he was framed back in the U.S by this fool named Walter." Cole tried to explain, careful not to piss off the bulky agent too much. "He got his hands on five super-rare exotics and sold them to various mafias around here. You find the owners, and you'll get your man." Cole made sure he was within a step of his Silvia, just in case things got worse. Trusting that Brian knew his cars, Cole went along with what he said despite having no idea what flew by moments ago. "That Bugatti that just passed us is more than likely one of them...there's 5 of those cars in the world. Get a squad car to pull behind that car and I'd bet my life he'd take off." Cole pleaded his case. Though he wasn't exactly sure why he was helping Brian, he didn't want to see him go to jail for something he did not do, no one deserves that. Besides, the months prior to this Brian came as close to a friend that Cole had had in a long time.

Hobbs lowered his pistol slightly as the teenager provided an argument that matched Brian's pretty much exactly. He thought for a moment, and finally came to a decision. "One last chance." He said as he grabbed Brian's shoulder and hurdled him towards the Silvia. "Get in the back, blondie drives." He got in the passenger seat and motioned for Cole to hop in. "Chase that car, but for your sake you two better be right on this."

Why Cole would want to help him Brian didn't know but he was very thankful for it nonetheless. Silently he mouthed a thank you to Cole after Hobbs decided to give him yet another chance, one that he definetly needed and would make good use of. He didn't object when he got shoved into the back of the Silva although he would have preferred to be in the driver seat. Cole was a damn good driver, who stood a realistic chance to catch the car.
As soon as his behind was inside the car sped off leaving no time for Brian to buckle up, even if he could with his hands behind his back. Right now the stolen car was out of sight but after a few sharp turns Brian spotted it a few cars ahead. "There!" he yelled in both of the other guys ears. "He's three cars ahead! Floor it, Cole."

Luckily, the Bugatti had left tire tracks all around the place, so it wasn't that difficult to follow the tracks and finally get on the back of the supercar. Cole's Silvia was much more nimble than the heavy supercar through these back roads, and so he figured he needed to take advantage of that before the Bugatti could find some open road. "You think I didn't have it floored before?" He glanced at Brian. The Bugatti, believing it was being chased, was trying to use some of it's raw power to pull away on the straight, the problem was that there wasn't much straight to work with, at least not yet, and soon another right hander came up. The supercar struggled to make the turn at speed and just about plowed the fence. Cole meanwhile held a tight line that put him right on the exotic's bumper. Up ahead there was left hander that was just wide enough for Cole to try something dangerous and crazy. "Hold on, guys!" He exclaimed as he got to left side of the bugatti and ripped the ebrake while in the middle of the turn, spinning the Silvia sideways and sliding just past the Bugatti, blocking off any forward progress the supercar could make. As the exotic, screeched to a halt, Cole jumped out of the car and called to the others. "Now guys! Jump him! Let's go!"

Obviously Brian had put his trust in the right guy. Cole was a damn good driver. Despite the much greater power of the supercar Cole managed to outsmart the driver with a trick that could have come right out of Brian's trick book. He couldn't help but cheer Cole on and even though he was still handcuffed he jumped out of the car to make sure the driver of the stolen one wasn't going anywhere. The man was way to baffled to even try and run but climbed out of his precious piece of engineering with his hands held high. "You crazy??? What you want?" He yelled at the group of Americans unaware of what they might want. "You know what my car cost?" His big, black eyes almost popped out when he glared at the young blonde, who had cut him off so evilly.

Hobbs meaningfully stepped out of the Silvia and immediately confronted the supercar driver. "Who'd you buy this car from?" Hobbs demanded. He didn't particularly like how jumpy the driver seemed when he got out. He did have a sense to him that told Hobbs he was nervous about something.

While quickly running through his options of escape with a gun trained at him and three strangers, blocking the way the man soon decided that he might as well give up who he bought is car from, which had been a very good, yet reasonable deal. "An American, why?" He searched the men's faces and suddenly understood that the friend of a friend of a friend, who recommended the seller might not have been such a good friend after all. "Don't tell me, it's stolen. It has all the right papers." He waved his hands in the air, then turned to recover some from the glove compartment. "Papers, no gun, right, understood?" He nervously asked.
Brian took one look at them. They seemed legit enough but he was sure that they'd turned out to be fake upon closer exam. "What did the man look like who sold you that car? Describe him." "Hm,...big muscles, same height as you but very short brown hair, scar on his cheek." "Bingo." Brian got excited. "That's our man. Did you get a close look at Walter?" "Sorry, bro but you've bought a stolen car!" The big Chineses eyes widened. "Non, no, no, this is not stolen."

Cole ran over to check the VIN number on the car. He had written down all the VINs of the stolen cars before they arrived in Tokyo. Reading it carefully, he found that they matched perfectly. "It's stolen man, this exact VIN was reported stolen back in the United States." Cole watched the distressed owner. Turning back to Hobbs, Cole said. "Go run this VIN, you can see for yourself."

Hobbs remembered the man who was with Brian earlier, the description the owner gave exactly matched him. "Well played, O'Conner." He whispered under his breathe. Looking at the blonde, who was telling him to run a VIN, he took his cell out and dialed his department. He gave the number over the phone, and the other line told him it was reported stolen about 6 weeks ago. Hobbs then dialed some of his own men stationed in Tokyo along with the Tokyo PD. "It's Hobbs, I've retrieved one of the missing exotics. Get over here ASAP."

The relief washing over Brian when the results of the VIN check came back and Hobbs finally saw the truth was unimaginable. He had to lean against the car and let his head fall back to brielfy gaze up at the clouds. "My goodness." Then he turned to Hobbs with a slight smile and nodded. "Believe me now?" He turned around so the man could uncuff him. "Then take these off, will ya?"
OOC: Time to speed up the process and go home.
Only a few days later most of the other cars had been retrieved by Hobbs task force but what was more important, Brian's name had at least been cleared off the theft and he was ready to go home and face whatever charges were left as he was sure the worst ones wouldn't stick.
