It was just after midnight, Joker rolled the poker chip between his fingers as he waited in front of transit station. He had sent Brian a message the day before, "Come quickly, come alone, come unarmed. We need to talk
-A friend."
So he waited dressed in a plain white t-shirt tucked clean blue jeans. It was obvious he was unarmed and even more clear was how professional he looked. Joker's head bobbed up as he stopped rolling the chip. "Brian, you came..."

The message had taken Brian by surprise because he was sure that nobody but Mira, Mia and Cole knew his new number. Over and over he thought about who could have sent the message. Maybe Cole, who had magically disappeared? But why would he write 'come unarmed'. That Line alone made Brian shove Mira's gun, that she had stashed in her suitcase, in the back of his belt.
At the rendevouz point his eyes almost popped out when he spotted the man that he had been looking for so long, travel half way across the world but couldn't find until he got the message. The initial plan was to kill or arrest him, well get him arrested and take the blame for what he did. "You!" escaped his lips. Unwillingly his hands started trembling.

"Well. This is already going better then planned." He smirked slyly. "Yeah me...I was pretty surprised when your name came across my job list. How is it when I set all the evidence away from you, you still came out on the run. I left the vial, ballistics would have never matched your gun, aaaand on top of it all I left my prints everywhere on the coke in your car." He tilted his head, "you can calm down. If you tried tl attack me right now you might hurt yourself or someone else...I really just want to know what happened."

Brian eyes narrowed. Was this guy telling him he tired to spare him? For a moment he just wanted to jump at his throat. It was alost impoosible not to but he still kept cool-at least for a moment. "Are you trying to say you didn't want me to take the fall for what you did?" If his icy blue eyes could have shot daggers they would -right in between Walters eyes. "I'm still being charged with theft and assault. And I'm not going to sit back and take the blame for that." He was still contemplating how and when would be the best time to try and overpower the assassin. "Wait, what do you mean my name came up...?"

"Yes. Before I jumped ship, litterally and figuratively I worked for a company that hires out people like me to both the crime life and legal life. After you ran your name popped up as a rogue element with 'great automobile skill' as well as a few other pieces of information. Brian you were suppose to get off Scott free. How did you mess that up, there was no solid evidence left to link you...unless they are trying to get you just for the cars." Walter pocketed the chip and crossed his arms. "If you were linked to this then there are other players that could link you to me, bad for buisness to be in cuffs. Who tried to bring you in Brian?"

Here they were having an all too casula conversation when brian wanted nothing more than revenge on this man, who had ruined his life and made him and two others fugitives. "You son of a bitch, what do I care what's bad for your business." He sat down next to Walter on the bench and unnoticably slid his hand to his back where he had shoved the gun. "I don't care whether I was supposed to walk away form it all, I didn't. I got shot and am facing prison if I ever set a foot on American soil again. All I want is my life back, which means you'll have to turn yourself in....with ym help." The barrell of his gun was poking into Walter clothes behind his back. Keep your hands where I can see them."

Walter put his hands up slowly and looked overhis shoulder, "Let me rephrase this Brian. I spent the time and energy making sure you wouldn't be hemmed up for my dirty work. Not a single shred of evidence pointed back to you aside from shooting me and a dirty hostage. You are being hunted down by someone else so if you turn me in then that gives them a chance to target you again, these cars that we brought in were suppose to be unmarked and all witnesses done with, I was suppose to kill you, someone was suppose to kill me. Getting you doped up caused enough attention that they couldn't kill you without blowing their cover and Mira being called in kept me from dieing." His voice remained calm and sincere, his body manner remained relaxed. "And that brings us to you being here with a gun to my back, a person hunting you down on the law side and me with a contract on the board to kill you. Shoot me and someone else will come that doesnt want to talk, try to turn me in we both are dead."

Walters words were hard to believe after what Brian had been through because of him. They did, however, make some sense. Why would somebody got to the effort of killing him and his hired killer? Were the cars that precious? The answer would be yes. But why was the government hunting him other than the fact that she was wanted? "So what does the government want from me?" He lowered the gun and sat down next to Walter but his hand never left the butt so he could easily use it again. The gap between them was big enough to give him enough reaction time. "And what's in it for you? Why not simply complete your assignment?"

"That's not so cut and dry," He coughed and leaned forwards rubbing the right nuckles of his fist under the fingers of left hand quickly and repeatedly. "The world needs more officers like you Brian, I've got a lot of blood on my hands and wanted out. You were my last job, decided I wanted to get to the end of it and erase myself from the equation. The problem is I'm a bit Bi-polar, I love fighting, I love the money. Just kinda sick of the killing part so I try to pick and choose my jobs now. I'm offering you a chance now to clean this up, tell me who is chasing you and I'll go after them."

"Right." Brian mocked him. Hearing 'the world needs more officers like you' from a man like Walter simply didn't sit well with brian. It sounded like he was making fun of him, like this was all a game for him and this time he lost. "So you developed a distaste for blood. Poor guy." This was simply obscene but if Joker wanted to get rid of the guy following him Brian wasn't going to put up a fight. "His name is...wait. You kill him and everybody's going to think I hired you." Again he contemplated trying to force Walter to accompany him to Hobbs. Then he had a different idea. He'd call Miras number on his cell in his pocket and let her father listen in to this conversation. With his thumb her worked on the tiny buttons until he was pretty sure that Hobbs would hear an interesting story f he was with Mira.

"Not really, would link it to me since we both were involved. I'm not going to kill again unless absolutely needed. I just want clean slate, start new you know. I would have turned myself in but I never would have made it to court." He looked over at Brian, "you don't want to stay on the run do you? We've both been set up enough times to know that there isn't a clean way out out of this. I'm going to stand up and walk away now. You need time to think about this. I have your number, amongst other things. Conciser this an appology and a chance to set things right." With that, he stood and eyed Brian, silently he turned to walk away.

The fact that somebody wanted a clean slate after murdering so many people seemed ridiculous to Brian and he didn't see the point. "You'll always have those people you killed on your conscience." He watched Walter stand up and turn his back on him with an 'apology', which only made him mad. The man could shove that apology where the sun never shines. He got up as well with his hand on the cold steel of the weapon. "No, you are not going to walk away. You'll come and meet somebody with me."
With his other hand he fumbled out his cell and press Hobbs number, which was on speed dial now- as the man had requested.

Hobbs was driving back to the Tokyo PD's main HQ when his phone vibrated in his pocket. He dug it out and didn't recognize the number. He thought about not answering but figured he might as well. "Hello?" He barked, not realizing who was calling or the situation.

"Brian, if we go in who ever wanted both of us dead will kill me, and then you." Walter said slowly wondering how thick the officer really was. "You really don't get it do you. The only reason you are alive right now is because you caused such a scene escaping that boat." He turned to face Brian, crossing his arms. "I'm not going anywhere, I came here un-armed trying to help you out and you came ready to kill me. So just pull the trigger and get it over with. You kill me and you get hunted down by someone else. So go ahead shoot me or let me walk away. Those are the only two choices you have right now, by the time whoever is on the other end of that phone gets here one of the two of us will be dead." Walter held out his key ring and his hand slowly slid to the panic button. "And if you do shoot me, the alarm is going to pull witnesses who will ID you in a minute for shooting an unarmed man. So think carefully about what you do next."

Walters words still seemed to far fetched, too 'maybe' for him. Walter was the last person on this planet he would trust but right now he didn't leave Brian a choice because he was ready to cause a scene. Of course the guy knew that Brian wouldn't pull the trigger if he wasn't getting attacked-he was too good natured for that. Even if he hated Walter down to the bone. So he lowered the weapon and stated. "So what now? Hobbs is going to arrest me if I don't bring you in." Secretly he was hoping that somebody was listening in on the other end of the open phone line.

"You shouldn't give a name to me, do you trust him?" Walter raised an eyebrow and looked Brian up and down. "What will he bring you in for?" Walter was still confused as to why Brian was still on the run, in his mind Brian should have been off scott free after the evidence placed him as being set up. "O'conner what did you do after we parted?"

"Do I trust him? Why does that matter? And I don't know...a little maybe?" he added. there was a slight trust in the man because he was a) Mira's father and b) had given him some extra time.
"After you left I was ...stumbling down the hallway trying not to trip over any of the bodies that you left or pass out because my girlfriend shot me in the shoulder. Then they arrested me. I was told they found drugs in my car and blood, I shot a witness and several others, which hopefully didn't stick, and stole very expensive cars." With each word of that sentence he got angrier and didn't even noticed that he gave away the fact that Mira wasn't just a colleague. "I wasn't going to wait to go to jail so I ran!"

Hobbs just about hung up after a few seconds of silence, but then he started hearing words in the background. Some from what sounded like Brian, and some from a stranger. The first thing heard was "So what now? Hobbs is going to arrest me if I don't bring you in." He quickly determined that either Brian was trying to fool him into to thinking this character was real, or Brian was actually talking to him right now. He traced the call and within moments headed his truck towards the location.

"Brian, you shouldn't have ran...Nothing could have placed you guilty, each man that was killed was a hired merc and most were wanted dead by CIA, DEA, and FBI." He shook his head. "I left so much evidence that was round about and away from you." Walter rubbed the ridge of his nose slowly. "I'll be in touch, tell your friend to contact Internal Affairs. They will review your evidence, I'll figure out something to get you back in the states...by the way tit for tat, your friend Letty is alive." Walter smiled slowly, "One of the reasons I'm choosing to get out of this line of work was because I saved her," Slowly he reached into his pocket with two fingers, the standared 'Trust me' movement when pulling something harmless out. It was a small picture of the two of them by the beach, "Take this man, token of good faith. Use it for whatever purpose you need of it, photographic evidence as to who I am if you would but be careful since you know...She's suppose to be dead. Might piss someone off." He turned slowly and started to walk away again.

Walters words sounded too good to be true but Brian had never checked what he was still wanted for back in the states. He made a mental note to ask Hobbs.
At his next words Brians jaw practically dropped. 'Letty alive?' How would Walter even know about the Latina? "You knew let..." The picture in his hand made him gasp. "When was this taken?" The photo could be evidence of her being alive or good photoshop work. I had his interest though.
Out of the corner of his eye he noticed somebody approaching them and when he looked up spotted Hobbs massive figure.
