After several attempts of getting his key in the lock, Jack finally managed to open the front door and stumbled inside. Everything around him was spinning like crazy. Obviously drinking that much Vodka that fast hadn't been a good idea and he wondered how the hell Dani had done it.
With some effort he managed to drag his ass to the living room and towards the couch, but before he slumped down on it, something on the table caught his eye. He leaned over it trying to make out what it was. It seemed like a map with a route drawn out on it. That was kinda weird. Was his brother planning some sort of robbery or something?

It had been an long exhausting evening with all the brain activity to plan Dom's rescue after a long day at work. Unfortunately Brian's mind didn't stop when the team called it quits at 1 am and he went to bed. He kept playing the scenario over in his mind to make sure nobody would get caught. Nervously Brian ran his hand through his hair and opened his eyes because he just couldn't sleep. Maybe a drink of water would help. Not expecting anybody to be up he made his way to the kitchen in his underwear and opened the fridge with his left hand while he scratched his balls with the right. "Crap". Suddenly he remembered that Vince was the last one up and wasn't sure whether he'd put away everything that shouldn't fall into the wrong hands. So he went towards the living room just to say a little louder. "Ah, crap!"

With only the dim light coming from the streetlights, Jack squinted his eyes trying to make some sense out of the lines and letters that seemed to dance on the paper spread across the table. It wasn't an easy task for his brain at the moment. Ofcourse he could have atleast turned on a light to make things just a little bit easier, but that thought never even crossed his mind.
Startled by the sudden voice, he shot up, standing straight. A move he regretted instantly due to the wave of dizziness it brought with it. Yep, he could expect one hell of a headache tomorrow morning. "Goddamnit." He muttered before turning towards the sound to find Brian standing there. If Jack had been a bit more sober, he probably would have made some smart ass comment about Brian standing there in his underwear but right now he only managed a snort followed by a chuckle.

Even from across the room Brian could smell the cloud of booze surrounding his brother. He wrinkled his nose. "Ugh, what's that? Tequila?"
A short glance past Jack confirmed that the map was still of the coffee table behind him. Jack mus have seen in. Brian hoped instantly that he was too drunk to make sense of it and tried to find some sort of distraction. "Did you have a fun night out with VINCE's sister?" He smirked. "You know, that might be almost as dangerous as hanging out with Angel!" He remembered vividly his fights with Vince over Mia and she wasn't even his sister.

"Why would I want to hang out with Angel? Dani is damn fine. Angel... not so much." Jack made a 'what the fuck' face. He clearly had trouble connecting the dots to what Brian meant. "But whatever floats your boat, bro." Shaking his head at his brother, he finally slumped down on the couch which had been his mission right from the moment he had managed to open the front door. So what had stopped him from doing so minutes ago? After a moment of staring intensely at the coffee table it finally hit him. It was the map that was lying right there on that table in front of him. "So what's this?" He glanced at Brian with a questioning look.

Brian rolled his eyes and rubbed his head at the same time. So Jack had seen it and was curious? Would he be dumb enough or drunk enough to fall for some lame excuse? The older brother definetly didn't want to drag the younger one, who was just about to get his act together, into the most stupid stunt of his life. "That's a map of ..." 'Think fast' damn, it was too late and Brian to tired to come up with something fast. "California. It's for one of my assignments. It has to do with a case." he grabbed it and folded it up and then shoved it in between two books on the shelf.
Then he sat down and acted like everything was dandy fine. Putting his feet on the now empty coffee table he asked. "So how much fun did you two have exactly?"

Dani was outside on the phone talking to Vince telling him that there was no way that she going to be able to come home and that she was at Brian's house with Jack. After she was done talking on the phone with Vince she started to walk up the stairs but missed a step and hit the door. She turned the door handle and opened the door.
She saw Jack and Brian on the couch chatting. She looked at Brian "Hi" Then looked at Jack "Thanks for leaving me out there." she said in a disappointed voice as she was rubbing her shoulder because it had hit the door earlier. Dani stumbled into the house, she looked at Brian "V said that he left some cloths with you for me. Since he knew that I was going to be too drunk to go home." She asked him as she headed toward the couch to sit down and prevent herself from spinning.

When Dani suddenly walked in Brian frowned. "Is this a party or something?" He was surprised that Vince didn't mind her hooking up with his brother and even left her clothes. Brian wasn't quite sure if this girl wouldn't get jack into more trouble that he was already in. She looked like a wild one. On the other hand he was thankful that she showed up. Just the distraction that he needed. He motioned for the couch. "Make yourself at home. The couch is the only open spot though. So if Jack is a gentleman he'll sleep on the floor."

Dani looked at Brian then looked at the couch "There are two couches Brian. Jack doesn't need to sleep on the floor." She leaned her head back on to the couch when she remembered that she wanted to ask Brian something. She lifted up her head from the couch glancing over to Brian. "You know how far Vince's apartment is from your house. Would want me to drive home in this condition?"
Dani didn't want Brian to think that she was a wild and crazy girl. In fact she was a sweet, kind girl that liked to have fun with her friends. She was interested in Jack, she placed her head on his shoulder while she slowly started to close her eyes.

Brian looked at the shorter one of the two couches. The two seater would be pretty uncomfortable. "No, I haven't been at Vince's place. It's been a while since I issued the last DUI. And I don't want to do it again. So stay here." He looked at her with her head on Jack's shoulder who seemed to be quite happy with that and ready to pass out. It made her look like a little girl looking for comfort. "The bathroom is upstairs. Towels are there, too. And there's orange juice in the fridge and aspirin in the cupboard. You might need that tomorrow morning..." Brian walked towards the door. "Be good, you two! Don't make any stains on my couch!" He left it to their imagination what stains he meant.

Dani laughed to Brian's statement about the couch. She responded to his direction "Thanks Brian. Thank you for letting me stay. I don't think Vince would be happy if I got a DUI. Beside your off the clock you cant give me one." She chuckled.
Dani glanced up at Jack. "No more tequila for me ever again."

Jack was quite confused by the way Brian quickly got rid of the map and pretended nothing was going on. Was it just an assignment or did it have something to do with that meeting earlier tonight? He ignored Brian's question and opened his mouth to pose one of his own when Dani wandered in to the room. Shit, he'd completely forgotten about her. That wasn't a very smooth move. "Yeah.. sorry about that.." He mumbled while offering an apologetic smile.
In silence he watched Brian and Dani talk as if he wasn't even in the room and scoffed at the sleeping arrangements mentioned. It was promising to be a very uncomfortable night but he could hardly let Dani take the shorter couch. It was a sacrifice he was willing to make for her if necessary.
With a roll of his eyes, Jack let out an annoyed sigh at Brian's last comment. Could the guy be any more awkward? "How about you just go back to bed huh? It's way past old people's bedtime anyway, isn't it?" It probably would've been better if he hadn't said that last part, knowing how it tended to strike a nerve with his brother when he said things like that, but damn he just couldn't help it.
He then turned his attention to Dani with a smirk and once again wrapped an arm around her, like he'd done in the bar, and patted her shoulder. "Next time I'll let you win a bet... As long as I like the terms of course."

Brian looked at Jack for a moment with a sour expression. His mind was working on a comeback to the old people comment. He hated it when Jack pointed out that Brian was a couple of years older. Usually he wasn't worried about being in his early thirties but with Jack and his foolishness around he sometimes wished he was 20 again and have the same carefree, larger than life attitude like his brother. "Yeah, I'm out of here. We older, more mature people have to work in the morning." Of course, that wasn't the reason he needed to get some sleep. It was because he needed to be on top his game for their 'plan'.
Both Dani and Jack clearly reaked of booze but they were old enough to take care of themselves. He took a blanket out of a drawer and handed it to Dani. "Have a good night." Then he turned around and walked back upstairs where he climbed in his own comfortable bed again. Unfortunately it didn't matter how comfortable it was Brian was too nervous about soon becoming a criminal himself.
