Walter adjusted the large green duffle bag on his shoulder as the bus drove off leaving him across from Brian's garage in a torn up and dirty white T and ratty jeans. He took his brown leather cowboy hat from his head and ran a hand over his shoulder length hair. He had long since let the colors goatee go and now had it in his original black color. With his eyes closed he took a deep breath and walked briskly across the road, his heart was pounding in his chest, Brian had been in pretty bad condition when the helo dropped him off with the pilot. He was hoping he'd find the man here, alive. He swollowed his fear and stepped forwards to the garage door, his eyes darted around from underneath his oakly's finally landing on the man he was looking for. "Hey, you hiring?" He barked loudly.

The computer on the counter in front of him had died three times in the past two hours leaving him frustrated and ready to toos the thing out the window. Slightly disgrunteled he took a sip from his coffee when he heard somebody shout something outside. Happy about the distraction he looked up but didn't reckognize the man against the backlight of the bright afternoon sun. All he saw was the outline of a cowboy, a trucker or biker maybe. With a pretty strong limp he came around the counter and shielede his eyes against the sun. "Not really hiring unless you're good with computers."

Walter smiled and stepped into the room, he took his sun glasses off and dropped the bag. "Yeah, I think I know a few things bro." He took his hat off and set it down on his bag. He couldn't think of anything else to say, 'sorry you got shot' didn't exactly cover it. He stepped to the side and out of the sunlight taking a look at Brain he wasn't sure if he was in a cast or anything because the desk still blocked his view but at least he was alive.

Brian squinted his eyes and then a shit eating grin lit up his face. "Holy shit!" he would have thought Walter would go down in a blaze of glory after what he'd seen, the way he went about hairy situations, the way he talked on the chopper but here he was alive and looking pretty chilled. Closing the distance as quickly as he could Pulled him into a hug and slapped him in on the back. "Walter, wow. Good to see you, man!" He leaned back to give him the once over. The man looked good except for a slightly weird posture. "Growing the hair now?" Once again he clapped him on the back, then let go.

Walter groaned, "Ouch..." He chucked, "Glad to see you're up and around, thought your knee would have been blown to shit." He put his hands on Brian's shoulders and looked him over, "Officially I'm dead so I thought I'd change my look up." He sat down on his bag next to his hat and took a deep breath, "I guess I can tell you this now. I botched a job in Russia, saved my squad and the informant but it was traced back to the states. They tagged me for exicution, instead of comming after me directly they had to trap me. They set things in motion once I had killed Nate...it snow balled from there and ended in mexico that night." He took another breath, "My team did me a favor, I was so shot up on drugs by the time I got there they knew I couldn't stand much longer, when they took the shots they hit me in the soft spots from my vest, I was bleeding so much no one could tell the difference. I was picked up by some Mexican police, did some favors for them and had to find a way back into the states. This was my second stop..."

The topic wasn't his favourite. Brian was aware he would never become a player for the NFL after his knee injury, which didn't bother him, but the fact that he might not walk normally did. "You, shot to bits." Was all he said in a low tone before he listened to Walters story. It was almost too crazy to beleive. Like something out of a super agent movie. Seeing Walter made it beleivable though. he was the kind of guy that would pull this off. After he was finished Brian scratched his head: "What was your first stop?"

"Walter popped the top of his bag open letting piles of cash fall out and over the floor. "Compensation," He looked up at his friend, "And I was hoping I could have a job. Don't really have much for me to do now, I need to find Ree too..." He looked down at his lap and tapped his thumbs together. "I left her after my house went up..."

Brian whistled at the wads of cash. "So you work for free?" He could use that type of help because his business was in debt anyway because of his long absence. "Hey man," he looked Walter straight ion the eye to make sure he was listening. "I didn't have a chance to thank you properly. You saved my life. I owe you....but don't expect me to catch a granade for you, your crazy ass."

"I wouldn't have it any other way my friend. I'll start as soon as I get back from tracing Ree down. Tomorrow I will be here at opening," He stood and put his glasses and hat back on, he shoved the bag under the desk with his foot. "All the money is clean and untraceable, if you need an account to be set up I still have some people that know I'm alive. My guys made sure of that, seals are brothers in arms till they die." He smiled, "But I'm still dead so," he shrugged lightly. "Sound like a plan?"

Brian nodded with a small smile playing on his lips. He had expected to never see the guy again after what had happened and it was a strangely happy feeling to actually know he was alive and wanted to work with him. "I'm glad you came back, man. I'm not really working for the FBI anymore but I have a friend there who might be able to help you find Ree." Brian held out his hand. "I'll see you in the morning."

Walter took it and shook it sternly, "I might ask you for the favor. I'm going to check the gym, then see about some pharmacists." He turned and headed out the door and took off jogging down the street.

"You still don't know how to run this business, do you, bro?" Jack leaned his shoulder against the open garage door with a slight smirk on his face, his eyes wandering around the place before they settled on his brother. His hair'd had more than enough time to grow back since the surgery. The only thing remindful of his 'adventure' now, was the visible part of the scar on his forehead where it disappeared in to his hairline. He'd been lucky on more than one front, Brian however..
"Heard what happened to you. Sorry I couldn't come by sooner." He mumbled while he moved further in to the garage, shrugging his own words off as if it hadn't been months. It'd been the only way he knew how to deal, shove it to the back of his mind and pretend none of it had even happened. His gaze moved toward his brother once more, lowering down to the knee he'd heard had been shot up.
"Good to see you're still standing on your own two legs, though."

The all too familiar voice brightened Brian's day for the second time. He looked up from the catalogue, that was laying in front of him on the counter and squinted to see Jack's tall figure leaning against the doorframe. It had been a while since he up and left, this time for understandable reasons. "More or less." Brian answered and closed the catalogue. The second time he hobbled his way around the counter this time to give his brother a hug. "Good to see you still have your own head on your shoulders." He pointed up to the scar. "Nice one. Finally makes you look like a man." He clapped him on the back and ruffled his hair "Good to see you, bro. Where have you been?"

"Ouch, now that's a cheap shot right there, bro. Guess I should say you finally have that age-matching limp than, huh?" He laughed, hugging his brother back before he had to duck out of the hair ruffling. Some things never changed, though he did seem to dislike that particular action even more nowadays and not for nothing. He moved toward the counter, shrugging at Brian's question while he picked up the catalog.
"Oh, you know.. Been trying to avoid getting incarcerated for the rest of my life.." He mumbled, clearly not too keen on the subject when he turned his attention on the cover of the catalog in his hand. It was funny when he could joke about 'stocking up on soap-on-a-rope', not so funny when it came close to becoming reality.. Especially when it involved him.
"Are you browsing through this for the car parts or the women?" He smirked, holding the catalog up a moment later.

"A little bit of both." Brian answered. "If been riding around in this..." He pointed at the absolutely tasteless Chevy in front of the garage because I have no cash but I recently came across some so ...a man can dream, right?" He snatched the catalogue from his brothers hands. "Are you officially wanted? Maybe I can bring you in and make some cash." Brian had spent his days between home, physiotherapy and trying to make something of the garage and it hadn't spent much time wondering where his brother was. All he knew was that the case had been opened and left that way so Brian assumed that Jack had dissapeared on his own free will.
A little more serious he asked. "Are you okay?"

"Pfff, in that case keep dreaming. You wouldn't even get five bucks for turning my sorry ass in, man. And that is with no pun intended." He grinned, clapping his brother on the shoulder before he threw a glance over his shoulder. The car his eyes found there made him furrow his brow. He had expected the Chevy he'd parked the Evo next to to be belonging to a customer, never his brother..
"I thought I was the one who got hit against the head. That's yours..? What happened to the Skyline?" He asked, his mood fading slightly by the time he turned back to Brian again. His brother just had to turn serious on him, he hated that.. Made it harder to just forget.
"Yeah, I'm fine now.." He finally answered, smiling briefly in attempt to give his words some credibility. "What about you?"

In a mock attempt to keep some his pride he raised his chin and nodded. "Yep, that beauty is mine...customer, who couldn't pay left it here."
He frowned at the memories of his beloved Skyline. Brian had become so fond of the car that it hit him like a hammer when he realized that not only his knee had been blown to bits that day but also his Nissan. "It went up in flames together with the whole place they took me to...back then." He waved his thumb over his shoulder as if it was ages ago when in reality he still thought about it every day...mostly the fact that Mia had been taken. His tone became somewhat sad when he answered his brothers question. "I'm okay, the legs coming along allright I guess, well kind of..." He sighed and ran a hand over his face, then looked up at his brother until their eyes met. "Who am I bullshitting here? Truth is I can't stop looking over my shoulder...it sucks!"

A light blue Ducati came tearing into the lot then and screeched to a hault on it's front wheel. It dropped down with a thud and Taryn stepped off the bike pressing the kickstand down as she did so. Her neon blue biker suit complemented the bike as she moved to the front door carrying a brown paper bag. "Hey!" He smiled at Jack, she had never met the man before but knew who he was from Brian's photo's. "I hope I'm not interupting but I was in the area and thought you could use some food." She looked up at the two, "Hi, I'm Taryn." She smiled and offered her hand out to Jack, "I'm a friend of Leon's."

The gorgeous whirlwnd storming in with food in her hand was a welcome change of subject. Brian turned his back on Jack immediately and 'walked' over to the counter. "Leon sends her over because the two of them are so naughty that she needs to make up by doing good deeds for the cripple." He reached for the fries and a bag of ketchup. "Who sent you? Leon?"

Tiffinni laughed, "Hey, we arn't that bad. Actually this one was all me, Leon was out when I woke up so I decided to go cruising. Had to break the bike in some how." She sat on the desk and pulled out four burgers, "Want one?" She offered it out to Jack and set the bike helmet down next to her.
