For a while Brian thought about Mia on his way home. How she would feel now. What she would do. Whom she would call. He almost missed a red light, slammed on the brakes and cursed. In the rear view mirror he could see the driver behind him. It was a lady shaking her head. She had long wavy darl hair and looked somewhat like Letty. Brian frowned.
At home he fumbled out his keys and went to bed completely frustrated because he pictured his reunion with Mia under better circumstances.
The next morning he went through his usual routine. Take a shower, get dressed in a suit and tie, collect all accessories like badge, gun, phone...His eyes rested on the small phone for a moment. There was a message. Brian flipped it open to read what it said...

She wasn't sure how long she had been lying on the cold damp floor, it hurt to move, and at this point she didn't have the strength to.
Letty drifted in and out of consiousness unsure of how long she had to live, where Fenix had gone, or what Braga had in mind for her.
She wondered if he had recieved the message she had sent, if he even believed that it was true, if there was anyone even coming to help her.

brian had blink and read the message again to make sure he wasn't still dreaming. If this legit then the message came from Letty claiming that she was being held hostage in Mexico.
The agent knitted his brows. Either this was a trap for him or somebody was playing a really stupid prank on him or this message was really from Letty. Even though Brian didn't beleive it was an option he took his phone into the lab the first thing at the FBI headquarters and asked them to find out where the message came from.

The whole day only some water and bread was pushed into the dark room. Through some gaps in the blinds way up top a few sunbeams fell into the room.
Suddenly Fenix' phone rang in the corner.

A phone was ringing, Fenix's phone to be exact.
Letty cringed painfully as she adjusted herself in order to reach the cell phone she had shoved into the corner. If he found it with her, he would know what she had done.
She took the phone and slid it toward the opposite wall hoping that she had gotten it far enough away that he would just think that it had fallen out of his pocket, and he hadn't noticed.
She lay motionless on the floor her body too sore for her to even look like she was going to get up and retrieve the phone. She hoped Fenix wasn't that smart.

It didn't take long until the footsteps of iron capped boots could be heard behind the closed door. A moment later the door was openen a daylight poured into the room falling on Letty's curled up body. Even though only the outline of the man was visible it wasn't hard to tell who it was: Fenix. He was holding another phone and kept pushing the dial button when his own cell rang on the other side of the room. He went over there and picked it up throwing a quick glance at the screen.
"You sent a message to somebody in the states. Who?"
He stepped closer his foot lightly nudging her. A wicked grin spread across his face.
"You're too easy, girl. Now I got whoever sent you here."
His hand closed around the phone. He hadn't dropped it on purpose but this had worked out well. There was a good chance that Letty had contacted whoever had sent her to Braga in the frist place.

Just when one of his colleagues was about to return his phone to him and tell him that the message was sent from a phone that is registered in Mexico it rang. Both men stared at the phone for a moment. Brian grabbed the phone and put it to his ear. "Yeah?" "Quien es?" Brian heard a husky voice. "Yeah, who the hell is this?" "Who are you?" Brian thought for a moment and covered the microphone. "Can you trace this?" The man nodded and ran back to his desk. "I don't know where you got my number from but Lo siento, no hablo español." For a while he heard nothing. Afraid the caller would hang up he asked. "Is Letty with you?" "What you know about Letty?" "She's my friend, is she with you? Can I talk to her?" Brian couldn't beleive he was asking that. Letty was dead. But if she wasn't he needed to know where this call came from.
"Who are you?" The man demanded again in a harsher voice. "Police?" "No." Brian aswered truthfully. "My name's Spilner. Letty is my girlfriend." Brian rolled his eyes. "Can I talk to her?" Just when he said it the connection was cut.
With fast steps he ran to the technician. "Did we get him?" The man stared at a map on his screen clicking away with his mouse. Then he frowned. "Almost, we have the area the call came from." He pointed at a 20 mile radius around a small Mexican town. Brian nodded. "Good."

Letty thought that it would be better to stay silent at this point than make some smart ass comment that would set Fenix on her again. She cursed when he figured out that she had used the phone, but atleast it wasn't the FBI's number that she had texted to.
She felt his foot in her ribs, and she bit on her tongue to prevent from crying out.
"You're too easy, girl. Now I got whoever sent you here."
Letty smiled, she knew that there was no way that Brian would sell her out that easy, although from what she guessed they probably thought she was dead.
She heard Fenix leave the room, and start talking from behind the door, his words were muffled and hard to make out. She hoped that whoever answered that phone would find a way to get her out of here.

A couple of hours later Brian was on his way to Mexico. He had told his boss that he had a lead south of the border and was going to go have a look near the border. After hearing for the thousands time not to do anything stupid in Mexico because it was out of their jurisdiction Brian had the okay to go and 'talk' to some Mexicans.
First he stopped by the guncage in the basement collected his vest, some extra amo and and long distance rifle...just in case. Hopefully his boss wouldn't hear about this before he left the building.
Second stop was at a cafe nearby where he found his brother chatting to a lovely looking lady. Jack, who was always up for an adventure didn't object and hopped right into the Skyline.

When the sun was almost about to set Braga stepped into Letty's 'cell'. He stayed at the door and said in a calm voice. "I heard you've sent a message to somebody. That wasn't very clever. They are probably going to come and try to find you." He shook his head. "You've been a bad girl, Letty. Lots of trouble. We'll have to get rid of you now before they come." He motioned for Fenix to pick her up and bring her to the car.

The sun was setting, and the light in her cell slowly growing darker. The door to her cell creaked open, and the outline of someone short was standing in the door way.
She already knew who it was, but she didn't have the energy to even swear at him. He stood silently in the open door way for a couple minutes before he spoke.
"I heard you've sent a message to somebody. That wasn't very clever. They are probably going to come and try to find you." He shook his head. "You've been a bad girl, Letty. Lots of trouble. We'll have to get rid of you now before they come."
That didn't sound good. She was in no condition to be moved, Fenix had already beat the living daylights out of her, and now they wanted to take her somewhere else?
"Why the hell don't you just leave me here to die?" she whispered her voice rough from the lack of use.

"Because this is my place. I don't need any bodies here." he gave her a smile that looked almost genuine. She was roughly picked up and slung over the shoulder of a Mexican who carried her outside and dumped her onto the back of a pick-up truck. Letty's hands and legs were tied even though she wouldn't be able to move anyway. She was too beaten up. Next to her Fenix took his place holding an AK 47.
Their trip took them 15 minutes away to a bridge high above a river.

Letty wanted to scream at the guy who picked her up and dumped her in the back of a pick-up truck. Her body was so sore and her hands and feet were bound uncomfortably
Fenix got in the truck next to her, sporting an AK 47 while he sat guard. "Fuck you," Letty spat, "You think you can get away with this?" she scowled at him.
She couldn't see over the sides of the truck bed and from her position she couldn't tell where the hell they were taking her. "Where the hell are we going?"

The pick up came to an abrupt stop and Braga got out of the front motioning for Fenix to do his job. A few gold capped teeth could be seen when he grabbed Letty and pulled her off the back. With a simple "I hope you can swim." He pushed her over the low reiling of the bridge. A few seconds later a splash below them let them know that the woman had hit the water.
Fenix brushed off his clothes and got back on the truck whistling a tune while it rolled back towards the mansion.

Letty struggled against Fenix, but he was stronger than she was, and her hands and feet were handicapped as they were bound.
They had arrived at a bridge in the middle of no where, and Fenix was dragging her out of the bed of the truck toward the edge of the low bridge railing. There was a sinking feeling in her stomach that told her she wasn't going to like where she was going next.
"Let me the fuck go!" she yelled trying to kick Fenix, but he grabbed her, and without any resistance hauled her body off the side of the bridge.
She couldn't even scream, as her body hit the frigid water below engulfing her body and swallowing her up.
"So this is how I'm going to die..." she thought fighting pointlessly against the freezing waters.

'Splash' The basket full of oysters hit the water when suddenly a much bigger splash caused ripples on the flowing water not too far away. Nika had made her way along the shore checking all her oyster baskets when she spotted a car stopping on top of the bridge late in the evening which was rather unusual. With horror she watched as the men unloaded something heavy and dumbed it into the river. At first she thought about pollution but soon noticed that what they were dropping was the shape of a person and sounded just like one. Nika covered her mouth. She had just witnessed somebody being killed if she didn't help. As soon as the car left she waded into the water and stared at the dark current. It was very unlikely that she would be able to find the drowning person. Neverthless she jumped in and started diving in the direction where the water was coming from. Under water she could barely see. She came up for breath and tried again looking at the bridge for orientation. Her arms felt around under the water and she called above the surface but didn't get an answer. Again and again she tried until her fingers brushed against something soft but it slipped away before she could grab it. The next moment she dove deeper and the current suddenly washed something against her. Her hand closed around a piece of fabrik and she pulled whatever it was up to the surface.

Jack glanced at his brother who was intensely searching the area as they drove. Brian hadn't given him much info on exactly why they were in Mexico. All he was told was that they might be looking for some chick who was supposed to be dead. "What am I supposed to be watching out for anyway? A zombie or something?"
He shook his head and sighed. The trip had sounded fun, but they hadn't found shit yet and things were getting just plain boring now. Was this why he had left that foxy looking girl behind in the café? "Thanks for breaking up a very interesting 'conversation' for this, bro. It's a real hoot."

"Just shut up, Jack. Letty is a real good friend of mine and I'm partly responsible for her death, okay?" He replied in a very annoyed tone. "She worked as an informant."
He stopped once more at a group of people sitting in front of a house chatting and smoking, rolled down the windows and showed them her picture but they just shrugged so Brian climbed back in the car and kept driving looking for bigger houses, that could possibly be Braga's. Then again he wouldn't be so stupid and take her home if she was still alive.
Brian sighed. "Sorry, bro. Just you and your girls get on my nerves."
A little further down the road Brian met a teenage boy walking along the road. Again he showed him the picture. The boy's reaction reveilled that he recognised the woman. He pointed ahead and said something about hill in Spanish. Brian nodded and asked him. "Can you show us?" The boy eyed the car and a big smile spread on his face. He obviously wanted to take a ride in the Skyline. So he climbed in a pointed out the way.
Just when they were about to cross a bridge they heard a woman's scream. It sounded slightly muffled even though the windows were wide open. Brian pulled over and got out looking down at the river in the dark but couldn't see anything. "Did you hear that, too?"

Jack snorted at Brian's comment. Him and his girls? At least he knew how to live a little. "Maybe I just haven't found the right girl for me yet. Gotta keep looking until I do, right?" He smirked at his brother, before wiping it off his face completely when he saw the annoyed look on Brian's face. Maybe he should just shut up.
When they stopped yet again, he let out another sigh and it didn't take long until he was eyeing a kid climbing in the car with suspicion is his eyes. He was never big on kids, let alone ones that didn't even speak the same language as him. He shook his head at his brother, but bit back any comment that was about to roll out of his mouth. If Brian thought the kid could help, than who was he to judge.
He remained quiet, almost dozing off in the Mexican warmth that was blowing in through the open windows, until a woman's scream brought him right back to his senses. He got out of the car the same time Brian did and nodded his head as he made his way to the edge of the bridge. "Yeah, I heard it too."
He scanned the surface of the water, looking for any movement, until he caught sight of a woman in the water struggling to hold something up with her. "There!" He quickly pointed in the direction while he already climbed over the edge of the bridge and jumped in to the cold water without thinking.
The moment he hit the water, he swam back up to the surface and located the still struggling woman. He quickly swam over to her and began helping her pull what seemed to be an unconscious woman to the shore.

Brian was more than taken back when his brother suddenly became all heroic and jumped off the bridge into a black river. "What the hell are you doing, Jack?" he yelled. Then he sprinted to the side of the bridge and half-tumbled, half-ran down the side of the hill through the thick brush. Maybe the water would have been the easier way. He spotted Jack struggling in the fast current as he ran along the rocky shoreline. As soon as he was close enough he waded into the water and swam over towards them.
